OKAY so I definitely would never say never when it comes to me posting things since I’ve ended up publishing a couple of fics in the past I thought were shelved forever (‘keep your head down, keep your chin up’ and the star wars au were some of these)! That being said, I do think the time travel au remains too complicated for me lol. It was super fun to work on at the time bc I got to mess around with a lot of tropes I hadn’t written before (erasermic family my beloved, etc) but yeah I ended up wavering on a lot of oc character motivations and also confusing myself 😬

There’s a specific scene I’d love to share from this fic but it’s on my laptop so I might come back & add it when I’m no longer on the road!! For now, I have this notes app-original snippet that makes me laugh to this day (‘Shinsou’ is the Shinsou from the future btw, ‘Hitoshi’ refers to his present-day counterpart)

Okay okay hear me out. Time traveling children. Like Todoroki, Iida, Shinsou and Tamaki casually finding their daughters in their timeline. Like they look at the girls and are just dumbfounded cause "this girl looks like my love child with y/n". And god forbid if the kid slips a "daddy?!" at them. *they all have daughters and todo has twin daughters and you cant change my mind *

doin the first three as per the rules! 

A/N: Okay, but can we all just agree that Parent!Bnha characters are superior? I literally spend whatever free time I have looking/reading next-gen MHA fanfics. They’re so precious. I might have to make one myself hmmm...

Todoroki Shoto:

all todoroki wanted to do was go to bed on time 

all week, his friends convinced him to stay up past 8 and it’s been making him cranky

he’s such a grandpa

but you were a part of the group so he did it without complaint

today, he could finally sleep at 7:30pm

that was until he saw two 13-year-old girls on his bed

the girls stare at shoto and he stares back

then he turns to leave before they’re literally jumping at him and slamming the door shut

he’s already thinking of 101 ways to escape this stalker situation

the girls speak before he can freeze them

“we’re not stalkers”

“we’re actually related. swear!”

just as he’s about to tell them off and how he’s certain he doesn't have any relatives outside of his immediate family, he takes a look at the girls

he notices one has red hair and the other white. their eyes are heterochromic, like his, but one is blue and the other is e/c. their skin is a blend of his and someone else's

they look too much like him

the gears in todoroki’s head start turning

“who are you?”

the one with white hair looks nervous, but the one with red hair stares him right in the eyes

“we’re your--”

“shoto?”

you come from behind the door to see the trio

the girls seem excited 

“wow,” the one w white hair gasps

the one w red hair smiles lovingly, “mom���s been a baddie her entire life, huh?”

it was low enough so you didn't hear, but todoroki sure did

he looks between you, the girls, and himself in the mirror

then he bursts into flames

“shoto?” 

“dad!”

“daddy!?”

the flames on his left side get bigger

after he finally gets his bearings, todoroki puts the fire out and the twins explain themselves

you look amazed and smile at the fact that you made such pretty girls

meanwhile, todoroki is SWEATING

you and him got together? married? and had children? 4 children?

he just realized he thought you were beautiful last week

like can he get a break?

nearly jumps as you bring to his attention that the quirk that teleported them is fading

as they fade away, the one with red hair glares at him and warns

“dont mess up, old man”

when they're gone, todoroki sees you nervously scratch your neck

he half wanted to fade away as well

he didn't get the chance to go to bed on time, but after a long talk about feelings, he gets the courage to, awkwardly, you on a date

it goes really well and y’all meet your daughters again 10 years later :)

Tenya Iida:

there is a 9-year-old girl in his room and iida is currently having an internal meltdown

he’s trying his darn best to keep it together so he doesn't scare the small child, but it’s hard

freaks out anyway

“excuse me, lost child! where are your guardians!?”

“how did you bypass the UA security system!?”

“it is past your bedtime!”

his arms are whipping up a storm and he’s going on about child labor laws for some unknown reason

in the midst of his panic, he doesn't see the girl walk in front of him

she somehow catches his hands and lets his palms squeeze her chubby cheeks

“look at me and breathe”

“huh?” he whispers

the girl gives him a wide smile that’s eerily familiar 

“that’s how momma always calms you down, papa. you have to breathe!” she explains

the words register in his head and iida is, once again, having a meltdown

he always wanted a family, but having it confirmed was WILD

he had so many questions, but he was more focused on just how his...daughter got in his room

she explains it the best she can

“i was playing with Koji on the playground and then some mean-y zapped me with a quirk and, poof, i was gone. then i came here. you look different papa. you’re the same, but a little smaller”

he’s taking in the info and deduces that it was some kind of teleportation quirk

he doesn't know much, but he figures it will wear off

take his child to Recovery Girl just to make sure

Recovery Girl is amused at the entire situation and confirms that the quirk will wear off eventually

just out of curiosity, she asks who her mother is

“that’s easy! it’s Tenya y/n and her hero name is [hero-name]!”

the old woman goes “awww”

iida has never been redder in his entire life

he ended up marrying you?

YOU?

the girl with the prettiest eyes, most brilliant mind, and calming bright smile?

the exact smile this child had?

he almost fainted

when he takes his daughter back, iida is stoic, glasses reflecting the light

you meet him and the hallway and the girl runs towards you 

“momma!”

you catch the girl out of pure reflex and hold her in confusion

as you try to explain that you're not her mother, iida stares at the similarities

you two were nearly a carbon copies except for the engines in her shins and the sharp eyes

he sighs and calms his heart

instead of overwhelming you, he takes the girl back and promises to explain later

iida and your daughter fall asleep and the next day, she’s gone

iida goes to talk to you with the love letter he wrote a while ago behind his back

let’s just say you’ll be seeing the munchkin in no time

Hitoshi Shinsou:

when shinsou sees the 5-year-old on his bed, he knows

the girl with bright purples eyes and h/c hair is almost a perfect blend of both you and him

he’s smart

besides, he’d know that beautiful hair anywhere

it wasn't like he knew you were the love of his life

it wasn't like he stared you for hours

but that’s beside the point

the girl seems unsure about approaching him until he kneels in front of her and stretches his arms out

then she sobs into shirt, tiny fists balling up his collar

“i’m sowwy about runnin’ away when you told me not to! the kitty was just so pwetty, daddy!”

yeah, definitely his child 

“it’s okay,” he coos. “im not mad at you”

it’s almost scary how natural he is at calming her down

he picks her up and walks around, whispering sweet nothings in her ear until her tears run dry

is the only one out of the others that understands that if the girl reveals too much, she could ruin the timeline

and he wasn't about to let your ass go

after just finding out that he somehow managed to trick you into marrying him?

hell no

shinsou’s putting a ring on that even if it kills him

“okay, peanut. here’s how this is gonna go”

it takes a bit of back and forth, and bribing (he’s low-key proud of her bargaining skills), for her to promise that she’ll only call you by your hero name

and to reveal how many siblings she has

she’s the youngest of three with another one on the way

you always did like even numbers

when he takes you to the common room, he’s delighted to see you 

you are so excited to meet his “little cousin”

the way you and the little girl get along pulls at his heartstrings

you were going to be such a good mother

gosh, you were such a catch

how did he manage to scoop you?

shinsou may have taken a picture or two without you knowing

yall end up having a movie night and falling asleep

you two wake up in each other’s arms, your daughter gone

“that was our daughter, wasn't it?”

he’s kind of taken aback you pieced it together, but not surprised

you were smart 

and you had eyes

“yeahh,” he shrugs

you laugh and lie your head back down on his chest

there’s peace in his heart that he hasn't felt in awhile

“she’s kind of perfect”

shinsou wraps his arms around you, promising to never let go

“just like her mother”

Sooo what if Todoroki , Iida and Shinsou find a 5 year scared out of their mind -like having a minor breakdown- cause they dont know how they got here. Like the kid is just asking them why are they so young and wheres mom. Turns out that its their future kid and they sorta have to find a way to get them back to their timeline. So they bring them to the dorms and I'll leave it up to you. (Could the kids be girls plss and Todo having twins ?? If it's not too much trouble ) 💖💖

Todoroki, Iida, Shinsou and Tamaki meeting their future kids...

Shinsou:

He couldn’t understand who would leave this kid alone especially when there are villains roaming around, he slowly walks up to the toddler “Hey do you know where your parents are?” He asked.

When the toddler lifts up their head he notices that she has the same face features like you.. her nose, her smile, including your hair. The only thing that didn’t match was her purple eyes..

“Dad? W-where are we?”

Dad? Dad? DAD?! His S/O wasn’t even pregnant! Heck both of them are still in high school!

“Listen kid I think you got me confused with someone else..”

“N-No! I’m Aki Shinsou! You’re my father and Y/N Shinsou is my mother!”

He sighed, he decided to ask “his kid.” Personal questions that only him, you and Aizawa knew but when Aki got them all right he knew she wasn’t lying.

He sends you a text to meet him at his dorm.

He holds his daughter’s hand as he leads them back to U.A (he definitely had to be careful so no one saw him especially Aizawa)

Once they reach his dorm he gives his daughter a snack since he didn’t know how long she was out on her own.

He hears a knock on his door, he goes to open it and sees you.

“We have a problem.” He says as he makes his way back inside his dorm.

“Oh what is it- Shinsou why do you have a child with you?”

“Because-“

“Mommy!” Aki shouts as she runs to you.

“M-Mommy?!” Aki wraps her arms around your legs.

Shinsou begins to explain what happened and you could only listen in disbelief, Shinsou and you? Having a child? In the future?!

“So.. what do we do?” Shinsou asked.

“Obviously we have to take care of her! Once we find a way for her to get back to her timeline we’ll send her back otherwise she’ll stay with us..”

This was going to be a VERY long day.

Iida:

He found the toddler when he was on his way to visits his parents, she was huddled in an alleyway he didn’t want to leave her there he knew the most responsible thing to do was to take her to the police.

“Excuse me are you okay? Do you know where your parents are?” Iida asked in a soft voice.

The child looks up at him with tears in her eyes “D-Dad?” She sniffles.

Dad... dad?... DAD?!

“I’m sorry young miss! I think you got me mistaken my S/O and I don’t have a child together.”

The child wipes her tears with her sleeve, that’s when Iida really takes in the features of the young toddler. She had the same eye color as his and she had your hair color.. she also looked EXACTLY like you..

“Yes you are! I’m Hana Iida..”

Iida then decided to ask her some questions that only him, his S/O or Tensei would know and when she got them all right he knew that she really was his child..

He felt his heart flutter a bit though so that means in the future you and him.. get married and have a child at some point..

He picks up his daughter and decides to go back to the dorms in U.A, but carefully avoiding Midoriya, Uraraka, and Todoroki he couldn’t let anyone know about his future child.

He sets his daughter down on his bed “Wait here Hana I’m going to call.. your mom..” it felt really weird saying that.

A few minutes later he hears a knock on his door, he opens it to see you “Iida what’s wrong? I got so worried.” He takes your hand and pulls you in inside his room.

Your eyes settle down to a little girl on his bed, her eyes shine with happiness when she sees you “Mom!” She shouts and runs into your arms.

You look at Iida confused, but he begins to explain about how Hana was both of your guy’s daughter and apparently she came to your guy’s timeline somehow.

You sighed.

“Well.. we’re going to have to tell an adult Iida we can’t keep her in secret in your room for God knows how long.. I still can’t believe she’s our daughter though..”

Iida couldn’t believe it either, but whatever time they had left their daughter he was going to be the happiest.

Todoroki:

He really wasn’t good with kids, without his S/O there he didn’t know what to say or how to approach them.

But he knew he couldn’t leave them either so he slowly makes his way over to the two toddlers as one of them held onto the other.

“Excuse me, but what are you two doing here?” He asked.

The two children snapped their head up to him and that’s when he felt his heart drop in his stomach. He noticed that one of the toddlers looked exactly like you while the other looked like him.

“Dad! Where were you?! Kiyomi and me tried looking for you!” One of them shouts at him with tears in her eyes.

“Dad? I’m not your father.” He says bluntly.

“Yes you are!” Kiyomi says.

“Alright then.. who in the family would I never allow Y/N to be around with?”

“Grandpa Enji!”

Okay they definitely weren’t lying. He couldn’t believe it though.. did he really have kids in the future? Even now the thought of it kind of scared him for many of reasons.. he sighed he couldn’t leave them alone here.

Both girls hold onto Todoroki’s hand as he leads them to U.A, he noticed some students stare at him confused but he refused to stare at them.

He quickly sends Midoriya and you a text to quickly come to his room.

After a while of waiting he hears a knock, once he opens the door and both girls see you they quickly run over to you almost knocking you over “Mama!” They shout happily.

“Mama?!” Midoriya shouts confused.

Todoroki quickly pulls all of you inside.

The two girls won’t let go of you so you let them hold onto you.

He begins to explain how the two girls are actually yours and his kids which makes you blush even thinking about it.. Todoroki and you getting married? In the future? That’s.. something..

“Y/N what do you wanna do?” He asked.

“O-Obviously take care of them! We can’t leave them on their own, we’ll take care of them until we can find a way to send them back home..” you mumbled.

Midoriya understood why you were blushing and Todoroki didn’t.

Tamaki:

This Boi is shy enough as he already is, but he knew children shouldn’t be alone like that especially when they’re only a toddler.

“E-Excuse me?” He said gently tapping on the child’s shoulder.

The child looked up at him, and Tamaki felt like he was looking at himself when he was a child the only thing that was different was the child’s eyes in which were a soft Y/E/C.

“D-Daddy why are we here where’s mommy?” The child wailed as she rushed into Tamaki’s chest.

“D-D-Daddy? I’m sorry, but I’m not your father.” He noticed a few strangers staring at their direction it made him want to bury his head into the nearest wall.

“Yes you are! How can you forget your own daughter? I’m Miyuki amajiki!”

That would explain her looking exactly like him.. and his S/O, he sighs he picks up his daughter and decides to head back to the dorms.

He heavily tried avoiding Mirio and Nejire he didn’t want to explain to them that Miyuki was his future daughter..

Once he made it back to the dorms he quickly called his S/O.

“Tamaki? What’s up? I thought you were on your way to meet me?”

“Y-Y/N I need you to c-come to the dorms quick please.”

“Sounds urgent you’re stuttering more than usual.. I’m on my way.”

With that you hang up, he looks back over at Miyuki who’s staring at him.

He decides to ask a few questions about the future.

Apparently him and his S/O are future pro heroes which is pretty amazing.. also Miyuki said she was apparently getting another sibling which made Tamaki blush.

He hears a knock on the door and goes over to open it “Tamaki what’s u-“

“Mommy! You’re here!” Miyuki shouts happily as she runs over to you.

“M-M-Mommy? Tamaki what’s going on?”

He begins to explain to you that Miyuki is apparently both of your guys daughter from the future, at first you didn’t believe him there’s no way that could be possible but once Miyuki starts revealing things that only Tamaki and you would know you knew it wasn’t a lie.

“Y-Y/N what are we going to do?”

“Well.. we can’t leave her on her own Tamaki I guess we’re going to have to keep her for a while until we find a way to get her back home..”

You shouldn’t help but blush at the thought that you three were actually going to be a family..

Tamaki couldn’t hide his blush either.

To ask for normalcy in this class was too much, Aizawa knew this.

It was like asking it to rain gumdrops to expect these 20 idiots to behave like normal human beings for five minutes in the original timeline, and it had only gotten worse as they all fought off apathy at their time stuck just kept going.

But how Aizawa wished they would stop getting caught so he didn’t have to deal with the other teacher questioning it.

Cockatoo: Uh Shouta?

Cockatoo: Should I ask why Bakugo and Kaminari are yelling ‘Fuck your chicken strips!’ at a shellshocked Todoroki?

YallMight: I think it has to do with them finding out that Endevar and Hawks are dating.

Chloroform: THEY WHAT????

Sleepis4theweak: I wish Yagi was joking

YallMight: At least they aren’t singing ‘She thinks my tractor’s sexy’ this time.  

He glared at the tall blond he was eating lunch with, “Fuck you, I know you put them up to that.”

“No proof,”

“Shut it,”

“If I make you smile will you, forgive me?”

“Maybe,”

Yagi just grinned, “I just helped Jiro finish a parody song of Aint No Rest for the Wicked, called Aint No Rest for Endeavor, where they diss Endeavor for three minutes straight, including some… uh, classified information and are going to play it during the Cultural Festival with Shoto taking lead vocals.”

Aizawa wasn’t fast enough to stop the snort from escaping, “These fucking kids,”

“It’s better than Bakugo’s idea of writing a parody of “Fuck You” to call out Overhaul or All for One… or both.”

“As long Dabi gets a recording,” Aizawa chuckled, “I’m going to allow it.”

“You were going to allow it either way,” Yagi teased, not even batting an eye at the fact that Aizawa basically adopted the villain, “But I suppose he would like to see his younger brother roasting their father.”

Aizawa shrugged, “I’ll talk to the kids when we get back, making sure they time the parody when they have the largest crowd. I’m guessing I’m going to be on ‘Stop Endeavor from burning down the school’ detail again?”

“I can take Eri during it if you would like,”

“Nah, I’ll let Mirio handle her, she misses him anyways. They can’t make more of a scene then the Host club they held last year. ”

He glanced back down at his phone, to see the flurry of texts had continued.

BloodyMess: Why is your class full of the troublesome ones? And why haven’t you expelled any of them??

Cockatoo: Cause Sho is soft for his ‘problem children’

Chloroform: Yeah, plus they take care of his daughter like they’re her big siblings and I’ve never seen Sho look softer.

YeeHaw: Soft? Are we talking about the same man?

Cockatoo : *SmilyBoi* Read em and weep

BloodyMess: Oh shit, the dude can actually smile and not look like he’s trying to murder you

SpaceCadet: Aw, he’s wearing a bow!

Cockatoo: Monoma said something to a table of Class 2-A kids and Shinsou appeared out of nowhere and brainwashed him. He’s now dancing to Toxic by Brittany Spears in the middle of the courtyard.

Chloroform: Omg, please say you’re recording!

Cockatoo: I am, but now Kaminari and Sero are being backup dancers

Cockatoo: Mina just had to stop Kirishima from taking off his shirt when he joined

Cockatoo: We have a full-on flash mob going on right now.

Cockatoo: Sho, come get your kids. I don’t know when they had time to choreograph this stuff but it’s not really school appropriate

BloodyMess: Aizawa, control your class

Chloroform: He’s probably trying to stop a migraine from forming

YallMight: No, he finds the whole event funny.

Cockatoo: How do you know????

Yagi smirked snapping a picture of the usually stoic teacher wheezing at the mental image of his stupid kids before the picture was texted over the group.

Chloroform: Oh? Having a picnic together, are you?

Sleepis4theweak: And? Aren’t we talking about my dumbass class?

Cockatoo: Pretty defensive there Sho, anything you want to share?

Sleepis4theweak: I have no idea what you’re talking about

Cockatoo: Come on Sho

Chloroform: Let’s change tactics

Chloroform: @YallMight are you fucking Aizawa?

YeeHaw: You trying to kill the man, Midnight?

BloodyMess: The man spits up enough blood without you being like this nem

Aizawa shot his companion a look, “Don’t you dare,”

Toshinori raised a brow, a shit-eating grin crawling onto his face, “Too late,”  

YallMight: Rawr (*ΦωΦ*)

Aizawa could hear the screaming from here, though that was probably just Mic losing control at the unexpected response from the world’s Golden Boy for all that was good and pure.

Oh, if they only know how corrupting spending 145 years with mostly horny meme teenagers is.

Aizawa couldn’t breathe at this point, putting his head down on the table they shared, gasping for breath around his gales of laughter the stitch on his side pulling. Toshi looked way too pleased with himself, as his full belly laughter echoed around them. After a minute the taller man shifts and looks away, laughter drying up almost as quickly as it had started.

Aizawa squinted up at him, “What?”

“Should we let them think we’re dating?”

Shouta felt a slight flush crawl over his cheeks as he leaned across the table, “Aren’t we?”

Yagi relaxed at the words, “I… wasn’t entirely sure where we stood on that. You know how tricky emotions are in these loops.”

Aizawa shrugged because he knew the man was right. Sexualities and attractions seemed as fluid as everything else in the loops. He’s gone through marriage, dating, divorce, breakups, flings, and hookups at this point, whether he weathered them himself or just recalled them from the memories he received from each loop. He had been romantically involved with Hizashi, Nemuri, Tensi, Oboro, Emi, and even Yagi at one point or another.

In this timeline, however, he had been devoid of any romantic attachments, his timeline memories not recalling a single long term partner, and only a handful of one night stands. His emotional attachment for the kind, gentle, flawed man went beyond anything that resembled normal, but what in their lives was normal anymore, and he wasn’t going to deny that even in the timelines where he was straight the number one hero was attractive in both forms.

He would admit that this was a loop where his physical attraction was... fairly overwhelming.

Aizawa just grasped Toshinori's hand in his own instead of answering, earning a blinding smile that made his heart flutter. If the attraction is mutual then, why not allow themselves some happiness in this mess?

His phone pinged again, his Class chat text tone… That rarely bore good things if he was tagged in it.

Sonic : *MaybeWeWentTooFar?* @dadzawa @DadMight um help?

“I’m gonna kill them,” He sighed as he opened the picture of Monoma standing on what seemed to be an ice version of Pride rock, holding Nezu aloft while most of 2-A and 2-B were kneeling at the base.

“And having them all prank you before you remember them next timeline?” Toshinori teased, puffing up as he rose from his seat, “I don’t think so.”

The homeroom teacher sighed but silently agreed. Dying before graduation seemed to dump affected loopers earlier in the loop then everyone else. They could arrive anywhere from a few hours before everyone else, to years earlier and there didn’t seem to be a set reason for how long they were sent back.  After the first three times, the class seemed to come to a silent agreement to mess with each other as much as they could during the time they spent before everyone else remembered. Aizawa was still proud to say he had the best prelooping revenge on his problem children, even if it started accidentally.

“If I told Hizashi that we were engaged, what would you do?”

The sunflower man choked slightly at the out of the blue question, coughing up a mouthful of blood as he deflated once again.

Aizawa continued walking hiding his smile into his capture weapon as he neared the courtyard.

Yagi jogged slightly after him, already puffed back up, before offering a counter with a shit-eating twinkle in his eyes, “If you dodge the question until tomorrow I can have rings by morning.”

He slipped his hand into the other’s hands in his way of answering. They were practically married anyway, pretending to have a secret engagement wasn’t gonna be hard in the slightest. Toshi even came over enough that Eri probably not question it either, and it just gave them longer to be the happiest they could be during the loops.

His hair rose as he glared at Shinsou, capture wiping out to grab Nezu away from Monama as his grip slackened as the mind control faded from his system.

The whole courtyard whirled to look at them, and Aizawa notices too late how Midoriya’s eyes flash between him and Yagi, down to their hands and over to where Mic was still filming, a straight-up evil smirk flashing for barely a second before it was perfectly covered in a scandalized mask.

“OMG AIZAWA-SENSEI ARE YOU FUCKING MY DAD?!?!?”

Welp murder was outweighing the possible embarrassment of preloop pranks. Maybe he could bribe Dabi with those embarrassing pictures Toru had taken of Endeavor...

“Young Midorya!” All Might gasped, chopping his hand through the air similarly to how Tenya would do, “That is highly inappropriate! What my fiance and I get up to in our free time is our business and our business alone!”

Make that two murders.

Definitely two murders.
