Plsplspls im begging for a angsty Chan comfort fic <333
Ur writing is just incredible and kdxjbdkd
I KNOW YOU - CHAN
pairing - bf!bangchan ♥︎ fem!reader
genre: angst & comfort (my speciality hee hee hee)
word count: 1.1k
warnings: slight descriptions of panic attacks, self deprivating talk, body image talk, and negativity
summary: the relationship had gone public, and you thought it was going well. well… it was until the people you hold dearest to your heart started talking shit about you.
—
Your eyes are irritated and bloodshot, but you can’t stop staring at the text messages on your phone.
They hurt to look at, but you can’t pull away.
There layed a collection of text messages that one of your “friends” had sent to you. The message are vile, disgusting things your other friends had said about you behind your back when you and Chan went public not to long ago.
There was a lot of discussion regarding going public, but he finally got the feedback he needed from his company for the both of you to go public, and you wanted it more than anything.
There was nothing more you wanted than to be able to show to the world how you’ve bagged the most amazing and handsome man to exist, but you knew there would be harsh feedback.
You just didn’t expect it to come from some of the people you hold the closest to your heart.
To say they were cruel would be an understatement. The messages said horrible things about your body, personality, and a man like him would ever love someone like you.
It stung, and you wished it didn’t. A part of you wanted to belive they were just being jealous, mad that they couldn’t be with somebody like him.
But a part of you also knew that he was an amazing boyfriend, producer, leader, and so so much more, and that made you believe a mediocre woman like you could never be for him. How could you.
It had been a few days since your friend had sent these to you, and you hadn’t been able to face chan pretty much the entire time except for a few short and dry texts here and there.
You knew if you spilt anything to him, he would be livid. Not at you of course, but to anyone who had told you that you were anything but perfect, and you didn’t want to give him another burden; he already had the media on his ass for the same reasons.
Just as you were getting even deeper in your thoughts, a message pops up on your phone, ironically being a message from him.
—
new message from : channie🖤
channie🖤 : I’m coming over.
channie🖤 : I’m worried about you.
—
Shit, Shit, Shit !!
You looked a mess.
To be honest, your room looked an absolute disaster, and you hadn’t showered in a day. The thought of him seeing you like this was downright embarrassing, but you know nothing you say would get him to turn around. When he feels as if something’s wrong with you, there’s nothing that could make him not do whatever he could to make it better.
So you’re not shocked when the tears start to pour down your face as you hear the sound of keys jingling and Chan stepping in, immediately walking towards your bedroom where he knew you’d be.
“Oh. Come here, my love.” And he’s walking over to you and grabbing hold of your body, rocking you back and further in his tight grasp as you cry harder.
His embrace only coaxes the tears farther, his presence reminding you of how you’re not deserving of his comfort. Not deserving of his love.
“Hey, baby. You gotta breathe with me, okay?” He whispers when he notices your breathing becoming uneven. It’s a tell-tale sign you’re about to slip off the edge.
“It’s easy okay? I’ve got you. One breath in..” he starts, waiting for you to follow his instructions.
Ever so slightly, you take a deep, shaky breath in, earning a soft smile of satisfaction from Chan.
“Ok, now out.. there you go, baby. You’re doing so good.” He says, watching you follow his steps. “Just a couple more, okay?”
Slowly but surely, your breath evens out. The burning, painful feeling in your lungs is soon replaced by a soft and light feeling, getting rid of the tension you once felt.
That’s when it hits you.
Chan is here. Your boyfriend who had been so busy for the last few days came to see you because he knew something was wrong. He came for you.
“We don’t have to talk right now, but if you want to, please let me know what’s been happening, baby. I can’t help you if I don’t know what’s going on.”
You sigh heavily, the want to be comforted overshadowing the need to keep him hidden from your personal burdens. You want his help, so you’re not shocked when you find the words rumbling from outside fr of your mouth.
“I-I I’m sorry. I thought that m-most people would be supportive of us. B-But um.. some of m-my closest friends said something things about it and I-I can’t help but feel like you d-deserve someone better?” You say, and you can see the way his gaze softens with hurt.
“I just.. don’t feel good enough for you. I-I mean you’re perfect. You’re an amazing producer, friend, leader, and an even better person. What am I? I- I don’t deserve you.” You finish, and you can feel the heat rising to your cheeks as you turn away, not wanting to look in his eyes any longer. But he doesn’t let you, turning your head towards his and making you look him in his eyes.
“Listen here baby. I have no idea what they said to you, but none of it’s true. You’re perfect for me. You’re the reason I am the way I am. The thing about me being an amazing producer? It’s because I have you to inspire me. An amazing friend? Because you always guide me to be the way I am. Leader? Because I have you to lead me. And person? Because I have you with me and you make me complete. I know you, my love. And knowing you is the best choice I ever made.”
The way his eyes shine with both unshed tears and love has the words he said to you soaking in. You thought it would be hard to believe him, thinking that nothing could save you from the deep pit you had found yourself in.
But he saved you, pulled you right out and vowed to never let go again. You can believe it, and you will.
So you give him a slow, daunting kiss. It shows and reciprocates the love that words can’t.
It shows that no matter how hateful others can be, he knows you. And you’re here to believe it.

A little more information about the HH leaks + a rant about some things in these leaks.
SPOILER ALERT
WARNING: MENTIONS OF ATTEMPTED SA AND SUICIDAL ATTEMPTS
Rosie owns Alastor's soul and sings a song about how Alastor is her pet and how he is in her zoo.
Vox looks like they will try to perform a '''''correctional grape'''' on Alastor to prove that Alastor is not asexual. (PROVEN FAKE) .
Vox tries to use the media to damage the Hotel's reputation. At some point, he manages to place several sinners (including some members of the Hotel) under mental control.
Husk and Angel apparently kiss in episode 6.
Apparently Lucifer dies (AMEM) in episode 8. Lute probably kills him, but it's pure speculation, all I found was an image with Lucifer on the floor. If this is true, and Viv resurrects Lucifer, then the chances of Adam and the dead Exorcites returning become very likely. And this will further undermine the understanding of how death works in Hazbin Hotel.
ABOUT EP 2, SEASSON 2
Sir Pentious is simply insufferable. During Emily's song introducing him to Heaven, Pentious tries to create and link A SHITTING DEATH WEAPON WITH A SMILE ON HEAVEN'S FACE, but Emily, Abel and Peter stop him and destroy the weapon.
Sir Pentious's sin was not having reported Jack the Ripper. Although I would say that inaction in these cases does not constitute a valid reason to be sent to Hell for christianity, after seeing how some Mouthwashing fans treat Curly, then it's not crazy to think that there are people who believe that would be a reason to go. to Hell. But it's interesting to see how Viv didn't have the ability to take a real sinner and try to redeem him, it seems like she thinks the only way to empathize is by posing a '''sin''' that isn't a sin, without a challenge moral, without a conversation about what is good and evil, without something that makes people REALLY think about whether redemption should be for everyone or if it should be limited, etc.
Ah, but Hazbin Hotel is a bold series that criticizes religion and says that situations are nuanced, a series without ''good guys vs bad guys'', a series that is not moralistic..... Of course it is. 🙄
Lute nearly has a panic attack after the Tribunal, this is where she starts hallucinating Adam, he basically validates all her thoughts and encourages her to do what she has planned (similar to how she is talking to herself). Here it is interesting to see how Sera, Emily or the ''Voice of God'' don't even care about Lute's emotional instability. Emily and the Voice of God are described as ''good'' and ''compassionate'', but they only know how to look at Lute with disgust instead of, I don't know, TRYING TO LISTEN TO HER BEFORE SIMPLY DISCARDING HER. To have the slightest empathy because Lute's WHOLE world is crumbling and falling apart and the only person with whom she identified is DEAD. It's also funny how quickly Sera simply discards Adam, Lute and the Exorcisms now that she sees that she was ''''wrong'''', simply using them as scapegoats, without worrying about the consequences this left on the exorcisms. itself. Yes, the Exorcisms were Adam's idea, but it was SERA who allowed them for who knows how long, Sera doesn't seem to have tried to control the Exorcists' murderous impulses, she simply left everything in Adam's hands and only showed up to demand and complain when something went wrong.
Abel seems at least somewhat affected by Adam's death, despite appearing to be a pacifist type, he seems somewhat willing to go to Hell out of resentment for Adam's death. He admits that he is not the best person to say what to do about the situation in Hell, as he himself is kind of interested in getting revenge for Adam's death, so this bombshell is in Sera's hands.
Lute goes to Adam's office and Abel follows her, he tries to connect with her by talking about Adam and apologizing for the way he acted in Court, but Lute doesn't want to listen to him and throws him out.
Lute's song begins (BANGER SONG), where she swears revenge on Charlie.
St. Peter continues to be useless and from now on, I will consider that he is just a random person with that name and that he IS NOT the real St. Peter.
Emily is spoiling Sir Pentious, and when she sees him crying for his minions and his "friends", Emily creates new minions (basically the same as the ones he had in Hell, but these ones have wings). She continues to spoil Pentious, who continues to try to create weapons (but the environment in Heaven seems to not allow weapons like Sir Pentious's to work). Sir Pentious spends the entire episode crying saying that he wants to go back to Hell and see his "friends".
Sera decides to put all of Heaven under protection while she thinks about what to do. Emily opens a portal saying she will warn Charlie about recent events.
The Exorcists continue to be dehumanized to the extreme and treated as simple '''walking weapons'' and as scapegoats, with Lute being THE ONLY ONE who has, at least, a face.
Lilith is apparently in the Garden of Eden, she was sitting enjoying the breeze and eating fruit. Then she sees something on the phone, gets up and leaves.

We're here for you
Hitoshi follows Aizawa along in their cooldown routine, but his head isn't in it. He can't stop thinking, can't stop wondering and it makes it hard to concentrate. It's the reason he already got smacked in the head twice and if Aizawa notices that he's still not entirely there, then he'll clap him over the head a third time, Hitoshi just knows it.
It's just–
"Alright, out with it," Aizawa says as he comes out of their last stretch and he pins Hitoshi with a look.
It makes him squirm though he tries not to let it show too much.
"It's nothing," Hitoshi tries, even though he knows it's stupid.
If Aizawa already noticed that something is off then he's unlikely to drop it, that's something Hitoshi has learned in the last two weeks they've been doing this.
"It's something," Aizawa gives back, narrowing his eyes at Hitoshi. "And it's enough to distract you. So out with it."
Hitoshi still hesitates for a long moment, but despite his pushy demeanour, Aizawa seems more than content to wait him out, his steady gaze still on Hitoshi and he doesn't know if that makes it better or worse.
"You said–when we started this you said–" Hitoshi trails off, suddenly deathly afraid that if he says this, if he asks what's been plaguing him the entire time since the words left Aizawa's mouth, that he'll know immediately what's going on, what Hitoshi is really referring to and it makes him sick.
Still, Aizawa doesn't back down.
"Yes?" he prompts and Hitoshi drops his gaze, unable to hold it any longer, but he still can feel Aizawa's eyes on him.
"You said you'd be there for me," Hitoshi whispers, more to his feet than Aizawa, but of course he hears.
"I did," he agrees, solemn and steady and it makes Hitoshi breathe that little bit easier, allows him to finally ask what's really bothering him.
"What does that mean?"
He dares to lift his gaze up a little bit, catches Aizawa still looking at him, but he doesn't seem mad, doesn't appear to charge for an attack but in all honesty, Hitoshi thinks he'd never see it coming with Aizawa.
His father telegraphs his moves so broadly that even without any kind of training Hitoshi always knows when he is about to hit him, but with Aizawa things are different.
He's a pro, after all.
"It means that no matter what, I'm here for you," Aizawa repeats and he must read the frustration right off Hitoshi's face because the corner of his mouth ticks upwards. "It means you can come to me with anything."
He says it with emphasis and something heavy drops in Hitoshi's stomach, something that feels close to panic.
"I have to go," Hitoshi rushes out as he scrambles to his feet, but a quick look at Aizawa shows him that he's still seated on the ground, not making a single move to stop Hitoshi or even follow him.
"Same time Wednesday," he simply says. "Remember to rest until then."
It almost makes Hitoshi laugh, because how the hell is he ever supposed to rest in that house, but he bites it back and shoulders his bag.
"Thank you," Hitoshi breathes out, not daring to even attempt to lie to Aizawa and then he's out of the gym.
Hitoshi thought he might feel better with a little bit of distance between them, between him and Aizawa's knowing eyes, but Hitoshi can't outrun his own thoughts and the way Aizawa had said 'anything' keeps running around in his head on a loop.
Hitoshi sleeps poorly that night and it barely has anything to do with his smarting ribs.
~*~*~
Aizawa and Yamada are demonstrating a move Hitoshi has problems grasping and they are telegraphing their movements so slowly that it almost makes Hitoshi laugh.
Almost, because once again, his mind isn't all there.
He thinks he hasn't stopped ruminating on the way Aizawa had told him that he can come to him with anything and it doesn't help that Yamada had said something similar during their advanced English lessons.
Hitoshi still hasn't figured out what 'anything' means and he has to admit that it's driving him slightly insane. He wishes there could be an easy answer, that he could just know if his situation at home is really something he can trust them with but he fears that it might not be that easy.
"Thanks for paying attention," Aizawa's lazy drawl suddenly jolts him out of his thoughts and when Hitoshi focuses back on them, he realises with a start that they are both turned towards him and while Aizawa looks mildly annoyed, Yamada can't hide his amused smile.
"I'm so sorry," Hitoshi rushes out, "I'm just–"
"Distracted to all hell and back," Yamada finishes for him and elbows Aizawa in the side. "Time for a break."
For a split second Hitoshi thinks Aizawa is going to argue, but then he nods and walks over to their water bottles, Yamada following while he waves Hitoshi to join them as well.
He follows behind them a little bit more slowly and by the time he makes it to them, Aizawa is already laid out on the ground, eyes closed and maybe even already asleep. It's hard to tell with him sometimes and Hitoshi thinks he might as well go for it now.
If Aizawa is asleep, it'll spare him his searching gaze and Yamada might be easier to talk to anyway.
"So, I was wondering about something," Hitoshi mutters, and he knows Aizawa isn't asleep by the way one of his eyebrow rises.
"That much was apparent. Shoot, kiddo," Yamada says, giving him a reassuring smile and Hitoshi takes a deep breath.
It shouldn't matter this much, because he's not asking for anything grand; he just wants an explanation and it doesn't have to mean anything, not if he doesn't want it to and not if the answer isn't what he's secretly hoping for.
And still, he hesitates.
He hesitates for long enough that Yamada's smile slides right off his face and that's what finally prompts Hitoshi to talk.
"Aizawa said a while back that I could come to him with anything and you expressed something along those same lines," Hitoshi mumbles towards Yamada and then trails off because Aizawa cracks one eye open.
"I did," he agrees, in the same way he did weeks earlier, clearly trying to prompt Hitoshi to explain what exactly this is about and Yamada nods encouragingly.
"I was just wondering what that 'anything' entails," Hitoshi finishes in a rush and drops his gaze back to the ground.
He still senses Aizawa and Yamada exchanging a look before Yamada speaks up.
"It means just that, Shinsou. You can talk to us about anything and everything. It doesn't matter, we're happy to listen and provide help as we can. You can come to us regarding problems with school or your classmates; we're here to listen if you have concerns about your future or what you want to do, and you can talk to us if you have problems at home or with your family."
Hitoshi just barely manages not to flinch and he just hopes that they don't notice.
"We try to stay out of any romantic relationships of our students, so girl talk–or boy talk, for that matter–is not really what we're here for but if it's a sexuality or identity crisis, we can be your guys, too."
"We mean it when we say anything, Shinsou," Aizawa chimes in and Yamada chuckles before he pokes Aizawa's side.
"Even non-serious stuff. I know this guy would be real happy if you showed him pictures of cats. You once mentioned you're feeding the strays close to your home, right? You must have pictures you can share."
It gets Aizawa to finally sit back up again and his attention is fixed on Hitoshi.
"You feed stray cats?" he asks and he seems interested in a way he didn't before, which makes Hitoshi bite back a smile.
"Sometimes," he admits and walks over to his bag. "I do have pictures, if you want to see?" he offers and Aizawa is at his side a second later, impatiently waiting for him to take his phone out.
Yamada seems entirely too pleased with himself and Hitoshi notices the way he looks at Aizawa, notices how Aizawa looks back, albeit briefly, and he wonders what's going on there but he knows that it's none of his business.
They offered for him to talk; they didn't offer anything else and it would probably only make them mad if he pried into something that he shouldn't.
So instead of poking his nose where it doesn't belong, he unlocks his phone and pulls up his cat folder, tilting the screen towards Aizawa, who leans over his shoulder, closely paying attention to all the cats Hitoshi shows him.
It's not the training he's here for, it's not what Aizawa and Yamada signed up for, what they made time for, but they don't complain and instead ask involved questions about the cats and not once does Hitoshi feel as if he's stealing their time.
It's definitely a first and it makes something small and bright light up in his chest.
~*~*~
Hitoshi starts small. He keeps it up with the cat pics, and neither Aizawa nor Yamada ever brush him off for that; Aizawa even asked after the pictures once, when Hitoshi was too busy pretending not to be in agonising pain to remember something as trivial as that.
After the cat pictures comes homework. Hitoshi is a good student, so it takes him a while to find something he has trouble with but when he does, Aizawa doesn't hesitate to sit down with him to explain the concept for Hitoshi.
Yamada already answers him every and all questions he has about English but the one time Hitoshi complained about a math problem, Yamada went through that with him as well.
It's–novel, to not be yelled at for innocent things like this and Hitoshi finds that their words—their offer—burn bright under his skin.
It makes him want to push and so one day, he does.
Hitoshi doesn’t really plan it, but the day was shit in a way it hasn't been in a long time, following after a weekend where his parents kept avoiding him, kept being scared of him, in between bursts of fists and kicks, and so when Aizawa levels him with a look and asks him what's wrong, it just all spills out of Hitoshi.
"U.A. was supposed to be better," he spits out, dropping his bag and making no move to get changed for training.
"Better than what?"
"Than literally anywhere else. Quirk discrimination wasn't supposed to be a thing here; it wasn't supposed to go on like this," Hitoshi says and he hates the way his voice shakes, how wet it sounds because it screams of weakness and he doesn't want Aizawa to see that.
"What happened?" Aizawa asks, much softer this time and pats the ground next to where he sits and Hitoshi moves as if he's on autopilot.
"It's stupid," Hitoshi mutters, because now that he has Aizawa's attention he realises just how childish and immature he's being and he ducks his head in an attempt to hide.
"Tell me anyway."
"The League, they are apparently recruiting," Hitoshi says after a moment. "My classmates thought it'd be funny to go through the students and decide who would join them."
"Based on quirks," Aizawa says with a nod and Hitoshi nods as well because what else could it be.
"I made top of the list," he says with false cheer. "Finally I'm number one." He doesn't care how bitter he sounds, because he is.
"You're at the most prestigious hero school. You're doing everything you can to be a hero," Aizawa says with a frown and Hitoshi laughs at him.
"Doesn't matter. With a quirk like mine, what else but a villain could I ever be? I've heard the same shit for all of my life, but I thought it was supposed to get better. And instead it just keeps happening. I'm sick and tired of being asked to make someone do something. I'm sick and tired of being the first everyone looks to when someone acts out of character, or when something disappears or when a fight starts. As if I'm always the cause for any of that. I'm just–I'm so tired."
"You never mentioned that before," Aizawa carefully says and Hitoshi shrugs.
"It's not usually this bad. Our class rep, she makes sure it doesn't get out of hand, but she's out sick today and with that whole League thing–-" Hitoshi shrugs. "Besides, it's stupid and useless and irrational to be upset over something I can't change and I didn't want to bother you with that."
"You're not bothering me with that, I told you I'm here for you to talk about anything. And being upset about bullying and discrimination, especially when it's aimed at yourself, is never stupid. You're entitled to feel hurt and angry about all of that. It is supposed to be better here; we have a pretty strict policy about that and things like that aren't supposed to happen."
"Great, so it's just me, bringing out the worst in everyone, just like always," Hitoshi mutters, because that, too, is nothing he hasn't heard before. As if his mere existence is tempting people to give in to their darker thoughts.
"Is it just your class?" Aizawa wants to know and Hitoshi makes a face.
He hears people whisper, in the halls and during lunch, but no one who isn't his classmate has ever outright said anything to his face.
"I'll take that as a no then," Aizawa concludes and Hitoshi is too tired to fight him on that.
"What are we doing today?" Hitoshi asks after the silence stretches between them and he feels how Aizawa musters him.
"I wanted to get started on quirk training, but maybe today is not the best time for that."
Hitoshi knows it's stupid and telling and it's pathetic to be scared of your own quirk, but he can't help but to flinch at Aizawa's words. He must notice it, too, because a sad smile flits over his face.
"You up for combat training? Or do you wanna call it early today?"
"And waste your time completely?"
"You're not wasting my time," Aizawa corrects him. "Not every day is the same and it would be dangerous to not take that into account. Today is a bad day; it happens and it will pass. But there's no reason for us to make a bad day worse, so if training is not something that's on the table today, then that's fine."
He makes it sound so easy as if it's perfectly normal for someone to take Hitoshi's mental and physical state into account and it makes his eyes burn.
"I–might not have paid attention in class today," Hitoshi finally offers and Aizawa nods once.
"Homework it is. Yamada will be by later, so keep your math problems for him," Aizawa says with a small shudder and it's enough to bring out a smile on Hitoshi's face.
"Not a fan, huh?"
"Of math? Unlikely. Now, show me something I can help you with."
Hitoshi does and just like that the afternoon passes.
By the time Hitoshi walks home he has to admit that a bad day just turned into a good day, simply because two people weren't mean to him.
Hitoshi thinks it might be pathetic, but it also makes him happy.
~*~*~
Two weeks later, classes are cancelled for a three day quirk discrimination seminar. Everyone has to attend and at the end, Principal Nezu makes it abundantly clear that U.A. will not stand for any kind of discrimination and that expulsion is the only viable punishment for it.
The next time Hitoshi meets Aizawa for training he walks right up to him and bonks his head to his shoulder like a cat, staying there for a long moment, silently conveying his gratitude and Aizawa pats his head twice.
Hitoshi wishes he could stay like that forever.
~*~*~
Hitoshi feels sick. He knows he has to do it, he knows he has to trust Aizawa and Yamada but just thinking about it is hard and he has no idea how he's ever going to put into words just how shitty his life at home is without completely breaking down.
So he decides to start the entire conversation with a theoretical, even though he damn well knows that as soon as the question leaves his mouth, both teachers will know exactly what's going on, but at least like that he can pretend that it has nothing to do with him, if their answer makes him feel worse than he already does.
Hitoshi hasn't even fully stepped into the gym when both men take one look at him and apparently decide that training is clearly not on his mind.
"Out with it," Aizawa says once Hitoshi is close enough and he doesn't even give Hitoshi the chance to pretend that it's nothing and he can't make his mind up if that's a good thing or not.
"I was just wondering," Hitoshi slowly starts, trying not to squirm under their attention and forces the words out, "what would happen if you learn that a student was at danger at home. Or–you know–that their home life isn't the best."
Hitoshi's voice is thin and shaky and they must know what he's asking, why he's asking, but instead of immediately saying anything, Aizawa and Yamada exchange a look.
This one is a lot shorter than what they usually do, so they must come to a conclusion fairly quickly and Hitoshi isn't sure if he's glad for it when Aizawa almost immediately turns back towards him.
"It depends, really," Aizawa starts with and great, Hitoshi already hates this. "If it's just that the home life isn't the best, with no immediate danger to their well-being then the dorm system offers a good reprieve of that. The student would be able to live on campus during the school year, while the school gets partial custody for that time. It would still mean the student has to go home during the breaks, though, and the parents have to agree in the first place."
"And if it's more than that?" Hitoshi whispers and now it's Yamada who speaks.
"Then the school–and we as teachers–would ensure that all the proper steps are taken to get the student out of that situation. We would seize emergency custody, which places the student into the hands of CPS for the duration of the investigation into the family. The school is equipped to take over custody in times like that, so the education of the student can be guaranteed."
"We teachers are all required to have foster licenses, so even if the dorm system is not an option for whatever reason, one of the teachers could seize custody,” Aizawa takes over. “That also applies if the student is in dire need of a stable home, something that the dorms can't supply. Once the investigation is complete and it's been decided that the student can't go back to their family, we would help look for a suitable foster family."
"Or it can be decided that the student stays with the teacher, if everyone is in agreement," Yamada chimes in and it makes Hitoshi's eyes burn.
Who would ever decide to keep him?
"An investigation takes time, though," he mutters and tries to calculate if it would take enough time for him to make the hero course and be placed into the dorm system by default, no matter the outcome.
Probably not, knowing his luck.
"Normally, yes," Yamada agrees. "But you forget that we're Pro Heroes. I know all you students sometimes forget when it comes to us, because you see us as teachers here, but our word has a little bit more weight. And we have connections. I know someone who has a certain detective on speed dial," he teasingly says and elbows Aizawa in the side.
"Because it's practical," Aizawa sighs out before he concentrates back on Hitoshi again. "It would speed things up, if we filed the complaint. We can get the right people on the case and we're not easily brushed off, either."
"What if you don't believe the student?" Hitoshi forces himself to ask, because what if? What if he says it, and they just decide that it's not worth it?
"That's not going to happen," Yamada says. "If someone brings up concerns like that, we're going to take them seriously, no matter what. Yeah, maybe the investigation will show that the student was just trying to get their parents into trouble, or they just wanted some attention, but maybe they were telling the truth. There is no way anyone here at U.A. is going to take that risk. If someone mentions something like that, we are going to treat this as seriously as we can."
Hitoshi's eyes burn and his hands shake and he's pretty sure he's going to throw up if he opens his mouth now but then Yamada steps close and he prompts him with a gentle "Hitoshi?" and it's enough.
That little bit of kindness he can hear in Yamada's voice is enough.
"I really need your help," Hitoshi chokes out and a second later he finds himself in Yamada's arms, shaking apart.
"Shou," Yamada says and Aizawa grunts.
"See, it's practical to have him on speed dial," he grumbles out and a second later a call connects.
Aizawa must have put it on speaker and Hitoshi forces himself to cry silently, so he can hear what's going on.
"Eraser," a man answers and he sounds about as tired as Hitoshi usually feels. "What did your hell class do now?"
"This isn't about them. I need you to open an investigation into the family of Shinsou Hitoshi."
"On what grounds?"
"Child abuse," is the immediate answer and the man–Tsukauchi, most likely–is silent for a moment before a soft "Oh, shit" comes over.
"Indeed," Aizawa drily says.
"I take it you haven't informed CPS yet?"
"I needed to make sure you're on the case first," Aizawa gives back and Yamada leans down.
"His quirk is Lie Detector, which comes in real handy, especially in cases like this. There's no way for your parents to talk their way out of this," Yamada promises him and Hitoshi presses closer, hoping to silently convey is gratitude, because he doesn't think his voice will hold.
"Am I putting you down for emergency custody? What does Mic say to that?"
"Well, he's right there with me, so put us both down," Aizawa tells him and Yamada hums his consent.
"Fine," Tsukauchi sighs out. "Anything else besides the abuse I need to jot down?"
"Hitoshi?" Aizawa carefully asks, clearly aware that he's listening in and Hitoshi is glad that he doesn't have to look at either of them right now.
"They are scared of me and they are–just not there," he sobs out, barely giving an explanation at all and Yamada gently sways them from side to side.
"Neglect, too. It's enough, right?"
"Of course it is. Are there any injuries right now, that we can file?"
"Hitoshi?" Aizawa asks and Hitoshi tries to hide himself further into Yamada.
"Yeah," he then admits because his ribs are still hurting and he thinks the footprint on his thigh is still more blue than yellow.
Yamada makes a pained noise, instantly loosening his arms around Hitoshi, but that's the last thing he wants, so he presses closer again and Yamada thankfully seems to get the message, because he hugs him tight again.
"We'll bring him to Recovery Girl," Aizawa promises and Tsukauchi agrees.
"I'll be in touch, and he's not allowed to go back to his family before you get the okay from me, if at all. But–I really put yours and Mic's names down for this?"
"Yes, Tsukauchi. If he wants to stay with us, we're going to take him in."
Yamada hums in agreement and it makes Hitoshi's head spin to hear that.
Sure, Aizawa has just told him that all the teachers have foster licenses and that all of them are prepared to take any student in should the need arise but to hear him state it so firmly, as if there couldn't ever be any doubt that Hitoshi is going to stay with him and Yamada, that they might want him to even, is unbelievable.
Aizawa must have ended the phone call while Hitoshi was still trying to wrap his head around that because suddenly he's right by his side.
"We've got you, kid. You're safe with us," he promises Hitoshi and he thinks that with them, maybe he can believe it.
They listened to him, Aizawa did something when the discrimination was brought up and they said they want to take him in. No doubt in Aizawa's voice, no hesitation, no protest from Yamada, who clearly has a say in that as well, if Tsukauchi is anything to go by.
Maybe not everyone is out there to make Hitoshi's life a living hell.
"Thank you," he gets out between his sobs and they only get worse when Aizawa puts a hand to his head.
"Always," he and Yamada say at the same time and it only prompts more tears from Hitoshi.
But for the first time in maybe forever, they are good tears.

Fucking. Pet peeve in fanfic is when Character A has any sort of anxiety or sadness fueled breakdown. They call it a panic attack. And then they alway have the exact same scene, where Character B tells them to take deep breaths, hugs them, asks ‘Feeling better now?’ And the ‘panic attack’ is just? Over???
#panic attacks#like??? first of all. crying is not a panic attack#it’s great to show panic attacks in fiction! but not everything is a panic attack!! sometimes characters just break down#second if someone told me to breath during a panic attack. i would not be able to for several minutes. if it worked at all.#the most likely result is i would start hyperventilating bc breathing exercises don’t really work for me lol#i do like hugs but only sometimes and only if you ask. and again it won’t just. end the panic attack#even if I’m not having a panic attack. even if I’m just crying. this scene is unrealistic#it takes a lot more back and forth to calm people down from high emotional/anxiety states. if it’s over in a few lines without#some back and forth. then that means that Character A is bottling it up#(obv not in all cases but like. generally you don’t go from ‘distraught over almost killong your best friend’ to ‘ok I’m calm’ in 1 minute#and most of all. this isn’t how people talk??? it’s like there’s one script people think is the ‘healthy’ way#that they follow to show a ‘panic attack’#and it is always like. straight out of a 2014 tumblr style mental health post#please can we have character B fuck up comforting them some times? bc getting someone down out of a panic attack is not fucking easy#not everyone knows to say ‘can i touch you’ sometimes they just think ‘ok hugs comfort I’ll give them a hug’ and then it Does Not Work

Prompt 311
Alien biology is weird. Liminal biology? Even weirder.
Ecto? Very much a wellspring for creation despite its association with death. Or rather undeath, but that’s a debate that many a realms denizen has tried to find the answer of. Usually there weren’t many liminals- ecto contaminated, yes, but enough to form Cores? No, only a few throughout history. Until the age of Heroes and Villains came about. But that’s a story for another time.
See ectoplasm builds up over time in the human body, and even more so for those that have formed cores who create their own. And it’s not like it’s well studied, what with most not even being aware of the changes or the fact they aren’t fully human anymore.
Why is this important? Well, what happens if two liminals (accidentally or not) mix their ecto together? Well, that depends on intentions, even if it’s just an impulsive thought at the time. Which in turns means that accidents? Yeah, accidents might’ve happened. Oops….
#DCxDP#DPxDC#Prompts#Ghostbat#Danny Reincarnates as a Ghostbat baby#Bruce (hysterically after a medical test by Leslie in the cave after nausea attacks): I didn’t know that could happen-#Either Dick gets an early start in being a big brother#Or Damian is about to learn how to be big brother#Or mess with timelines & have Bruce have all the kids at once & watch him suffer from it#I bet he brings lil bby Danyal to a JL meeting from not having a babysitter at some point#And the chaos that follows is glorious#Bruce did So Many tests to figure out how this is possible & the only thing that came back was#Lazarus Water has potential long-term effects?? Cursed objects?? MAGIC??#His DNA shows no metagene & he has no clue how this happened#Good thing he was already a bit of a social recluse- he’s going to have a breakdown in Alfred’s arms now#And then panic buy for a nursery#Implied Mpreg#Khoa might’ve helped choose Danny’s name#Danny is Not Ghost King#Shadow Core Bruce#Light Core Khoa#Space Core Danny#Liminal Batfamily#or at least potentially

one thing about the 911 writers is that they are gonna make Eddie go Through It. every season they take one look at his big brown eyes and go, we need to make this man Suffer.
#s2: his estranged wife shows up asks for a divorce and then dies#s3: almost kills a man at an illegal fight club#s4: sniped#s5: panic attacks followed by a complete emotional breakdown about an even earlier trauma in addition to the above#s6: son is lying to him. best friend is struck by lightning and almost dies. generally just kinda lonely and miserable#s7: uhm.#s8: ?????

SO continuing this Big deal Orion doesn’t “meet” D-16 then? Well yes and no This is a switch sort of au
He takes Jazz place. Sort of.
D and Jazz aren’t some interchangeable aspect of Orions og past, I think Pax would still 100% meet D-16 but they wouldn’t be close good coworkers at best and neither really want to advance it. WHY?
Well from Orion’s side it’s the obvious “I’m actively trying to not get him in this mess” but for D? Well let’s just say Orion isn’t the best at acting like he doesn’t know him.
“Hey! I found this cool Megatronus thing for you!” “Who are you? How did you?” “ah… well um I- I saw your sticker and thought you would um.. appreciate it… I’m Orion. Orion Pax” “Right. I’m D-16”
And talking about D-16 what does he do since he’s not actively saving Orion now? Well the movie did tell us subtly that he was a hard worker so now he’s actually advancing to the point that instead of working under Elita they work side by side
So that incident of a guy getting trapped on a mine and OP helping out well it wasn’t D-16 or Jazz some other poor soul got that faith.
BUT WHAT ABOUT SENTINEL? THAT’S HOW HE- yeah that
SO after Jazz and Op get Elita fired to waste management and afterwards go to Iacon5000
Airachnid doesn’t meet two bickering bots but instead two bots absolutely laughing their afts off and so does Sentinel who tells them “I love the attitude, you two are the best examples” blah blah. And you know the movie
They meet B-127 who gets along with Jazz. Two absolute yappers and Orion is wondering if this was D-16 perspective.
Anyway, adventure ensues. When knowing of the betrayal Jazz of course agrees with Orion’s ideas and starts helping formulate how to show everyone the info. Orion is relieved, the future seems to be changing and maybe there won’t be a war at all.
The Elite high guard finds them but there’s no confrontation they are trying to resonate with them but Star ”A united cybertron is a myth” scream isn’t really helping. Eventually it’s Elita who ends up beating some sense into them (literally).
With no cannon shooting the sky airachnid doesn’t find them as easily therefore they have more time to plan an attack and when she arrives she takes Jazz and B. At this turn of events Orion falls into a sort of panic attack cause “it hasn’t changed oh god what have I done to Jazz” and Elita pulls him out of it (she sort of believes she might misjudged how actually close Jazz and Orion are). And they go to the city. Orion goes to recruit the miners and who confronts him there? D-16 who at the news of the potential betrayal is taken a back but the information Orion is saying correlates with the new amount of energon Sentinel asked for. And they follow Orion’s lead but D-16 isn’t just a follower, so he rallies the miners with a speech doing what he (as megatron) does, create followers and soldiers with the promise of freedom.
When Sentinel is exposed they hold him in the central plaza for the people telling him that he shall repay for everything he has done to Cybertron. Starscream is the first one to suggest killing him, the high guard quickly following but the surprise is the miners who following D-16 agree and say he shall pay with his life for all he has done to them.
I am still debating on how the matrix arrives rn the idea is The matrix comes, kills sentinel and Alpha trion projects and praises OP for his leadership and exposing Sentinel
Another one is Sentinel manages to free himself and when they try to hold him again Orion gets blasted and thrown to primus.
Either way the high guard are still unhinged and lowkey don’t agree with Optimus and surprise surprise D-16 and the newly cogged miners agree “We were betrayed once what tells us you’ll be different? How could we trust the bot who was obsessed in finding the matrix? You probably did it for yourself” Megatron is inevitable with or without Orion being close. He just needs to be witness.
@rowvel thank you for your questions it helped me figure some of this out :D and I hope this also solves them
I MUST SCREAM THIS ONE OUT
Ok so this idea has been popping in my head SO WHAT IF Optimus prime for some reason went back in time (not on purpose) and woke up as Orion pax again but not an already a Miner he is THE Orion pax that hasn't been sent to the mines
Ok then what? Well what if in a moment of brilliance he decides "maybe If I never involve d-16 in my adventures he'll never become Megatron and then the war can be avoided" but of course he's hesitant because that is D-16 his best friend ~~love of his life~~ and to not involve him means not being close.
And so with all the hurt in his spark he manages to moved farther away he no longer has D-16 recharge station infront of him. But as Orion he can't help it he needs someone to help him when he goes to the archives (he is not willing to mess with the line of events any more thank you very much) and so in a twist of events his new friend and partner in crime became Jazz.
But Jazz isn't D-16 , he doesn't wait for Orion to come back he actively goes with him to the archives and when He says hey let's get into the Iacon race? Well Jazz was already formulating a plan.
Idk how else to continue but don't worry Jazz doesn't become Megatron or evil that's not the plan
But for now I'm calling this D-Jazz switch au
#luk3_writes#tf one#tf one 2024#transformers one#orion pax#transformers d16#D-Jazz switch au#transformers jazz#tf one megatron#transformers optimus

wow this week sure has been a great reminder that I am only ever, like, a handful of bad sensory experiences away from complete mental collapse
#I am in a house with sixteen people#after isolating for nearly an entire day and not feeling less shitty I had dinner (a child dropped bread on my dedicated gluten free food)#and managed to not fucking cry in front of everyone#then I came downstairs again and sat very unwisely in the communal movie room and tried to put The Acolyte on#at which point one of the people here looked in and said ‘ooh! I want to watch that with you’#and because I like her I waited for her to get her crochet stuff and join me#and then found out. she is not caught up on the show. neither is her son who wanted to join us#I did not want to completely isolate myself yet again but now I am watching *two* Acolyte episodes with two other people!#a third joined us partway through!#and THEN. the Internet died#ten seconds of show followed by five minutes of buffering#we watched the rest of the seventh episode that way I shit you the fuck not#and then they said ‘well let’s give it another shot tomorrow’ and went to bed#and now I am going to watch the Acolyte finale on my tiny ass phone#all of this is happening on TOP of a twenty-four hour panic attack :)))))))))))

sorry no matter what happens i’m literally never forgiving nate for what he said to colin. bc what the fuck.
#ted lasso#colin hughes#colin ted lasso#nate ted lasso#i am literally so sorry to my regular followers for this but god. i watched the whole show in four days and i am mad at nate. god.#goes without saying i am also not forgiving him for leaking ted's panic attacks but honestly. the colin thing grinds my gears more#because for what. at least the ted thing had a motive. he literally just decided 'i'm gonna be a dick to colin'#in the midst of becoming a dick to everyone else. he had been bullying will since he got there#and to me there is nothing worse than a character getting a little bit of power and then immediately turning their old torment on others#yes i understand that this arc actually makes nate a well written interesting character but i fucking hate him and will continue to hiss#every single time he is on my screen. thank you good night

when the theater guy WHAT
I went to see the FNaF Movie today and seeing as I have a total of Zero friends in real world event range and both of my parents hate horror I had to go to the theater by myself for the very first time in my life, which was fine. Until it wasn't
The dude in charge of ticket checks stops me and instead of asking to see a ticket asks if the mask I was wearing was part of some costume. Little black cloth face mask, covid thing. He was an old man on a scooter and not wanting to have a discussion with this tiny old man about Covid19 I just went along with it and said sure yeah. It kind of was anyway, it has a little bear mouth on it and I was wearing Bear Ears and a brown cardigan as well.
Man goes "You can't wear a mask in here." I say "Why not?" He says "You can't wear a mask in here." I go, "I heard that part. Why Not. "Policy, I don't make the rules, just enforce them." I realize this man is being paid minimum wage to sit here and police people so I go, "Okay." and walk past him because he's just some guy in a little scooter in the middle of the atrium and he hasn't asked for my ticket so I assume that's Not His Job
He calls me back for my ticket so I take out my phone with the QR code with my ticket on it and he takes my phone to (I assumed) scan the code and then he pulls out his walkie and calls his manager and I realize very quickly he is not scanning my ticket and I want to Leave Now.
"Can I have my phone back?" "When my manager gets here."
"Give me my phone back." "When my manager gets here."
"Bill. Give me. My Phone." "As soon as my manager gets here"
I make a swipe to grab my phone from him and this tiny little 60 something man in a scooter in the middle of a theater atrium as the audacity to hold it back over his head like I am a Toddler he is preventing from grabbing at a knife.
I am now having a panic attack.
Manager walks over and I am a broken little Autistic man who just wanted to watch a Bad Horror Movie (it was actually pretty good) so I scream at this lanky probably 30-something in the middle of a Cinemark Theater Atrium with many a random bystander around "TELL HIM. TO GIVE ME. MY PHONE."
I swipe my phone from Bill's hand, full turn, and bolt out the door half way across the parking lot and call my mother in a heap on the sidewalk.
It's a very good thing the Five Nights at Freddy's movie was way better than I was expecting or today would have been awful.
#I never rant about anything ever but Oh My God#Oh???? My God???? What the Hell??????#I should point out. I might have said 'tell him to give me my fucking phone'#I say might because I Do Not Remember perfectly#As I was mid panic attack and was really fighting back the urge to Hit That Old Man#But I have been told I swear just a little when I'm too stressed#The manager was SO apologetic like the second he walked onto the scene I do remember that#He followed me at first when I ran but as soon as I was out of the building it was out of his hands so#I came back with my mother and she talked to him and it's like#The little old man is just. Kind of stupid. And an extreme rule follower#No Costume/Halloween masks in the theater is the rule and TECHNICALLY I did tell him the mask I was wearing was a costume piece#Is that still any reason for Taking Someone's Fucking Phone??? No absolutely not#But that's apparently ANOTHER rule#If there's anything sus about someone he's to hold their proof of entry (ticket) until a manager arrives#Which is most certainly a rule about Forgery Paper Tickets and NOT about holding someone's cellular device hostage over a mask#But like I said. This man is very locked on rules and had no common sense apparently#He gave us complimentary tickets after that so that was neat I guess#Anyway. The FNaF movie's good.#I enjoyed it a LOT better than I've enjoyed any of the games#I really was expecting a trash show like the books but man. Man#It was fun.#Not scary like at all but. Very fun.#You could go in knowing nothing about FNaF and come out with the most baseline knowledge which is fun#A good straightforward starting point#However I was disappointment in the lack of Autistic Children talking through the movie!!! Honestly!!!#I wanted to hear a child three seats down info dumping to their parent dammit!!!#Like with the Mario Movie!!!

Side effect of watching three Mike Flanagan miniseries in a week a little while ago is I now have flanaverse dreams. The plot started and I went “isn’t this just a worse version of Midnight Mass?”
#it was actually an interesting twist on midnight mass so well done to my subconscious#nobody cares but!#the premise of the dream was what if instead of being an island and there being a vampire#it was a more standard jonestowny situation. Protestant. a bev-type summoned everyone and said we’re all gonna take a communion#thatll send us straight to heaven. a bunch of people take it and just straight up die and the rest flee#start new lives with new identities and try to cope with what they just watched#BUT the church leadership was horrified and resolved to track down their lost ‘flock’#putting off their ‘return to heaven’ to do so#for which they were really salty but in a weird fucked up way it was also kind of super altruistic even though they were out to kill people#the remaining survivors developed a sort of living room community church#at one point the old leadership shows up and assassinates their (outsider) pastor and they all have to flee again#tragically my alarm went off but I was so intrigued to see what would happen next#oh and the survivors went to live in a pseudo-Amish/historical preservation type of town where they had modern amenities but#it was all designed to look like the 1890s or so. so the protagonist (unnamed female whose eyes I was seeing through)#had to go on her hot girl trauma walks through all this old timey stuff#when she thought she was being followed she ducked into a weird little movie theatre to have her panic attack#nice work to my subconscious the narrative was compelling and the characters were layered and intriguing#words of grace

Please can I request pre-relationship hashira x hashira!reader, where they are sparing together and it becomes a bit suggestive 💙💙
Male pillars x reader - Sparing with benefits
pairing: Tengen x reader, Obanai x reader, Rengoku x reader, Sanemi x reader, Giyuu , reader, Gyomei x reader
content warning: suggestiveness
Tengen:
"you could just give up, there's no chance you could win against my flamboyant self!" he taunted, running around the courtyard with you.
you had been fighting for ten minutes and there was still no end in sight. you weren't a bad fighter, you've been promoted as a hashira some time ago, but Tengen was at advantage right now.
he was faster than you. he had been saving himself from your attacks by avoiding them every time. the smirk on his face only spurred you on more, wanting to win this fight and show him that you were a good fighter.
however, when you raised your bamboo sword for an attack and he turned around to dodge it, you felt yourself trip on a root. it had been sticking out of the ground, making you fall over.
surprised by what has happened, Tengen lost his own halt and fell backwards, landing in a sitting position. you felt yourself fall onto him, at least partly.
when you checked your surroundings, you found your head on his lap. your cheek pressed against his groin. meeting his gaze, you could see his cocky smirk.
"it was an accident! i didn't mean to.." you said, wanting to stand up instantly. this would definitely look wrong from an outsider's perspective.
when you tried to stand up, you felt his hand tangle in your hair, pressing your cheek a bit more against his groin, only satisfied when you felt the bulge against your skin.
"just so you know, my wives had always found you cute enough for this.." he teased, his eyes staying on your widened eyes.
you pushed away, running away from his grip and off the training field.
Obanai:
he was proud of you for becoming a hashira. when he took you in as his tsuguko, he wasn't sure if he made the right decision, but he was sure now.
you were able to follow his movements, dodge his attacks and even make some of your own. your elegance captivated him and he found himself admiring your fighting style.
perhaps he had been diving in his thoughts too much, because when his attention was finally back on you, he was already on the ground.
your legs were on either side of him, straddling his body. heterochromic eyes were staring deeply into yours, surprised by the sudden turn of events.
"i win, Obanai." you said, looking down at the man. your hands were resting on his chest, leaning forward slightly.
his heartbeat was increasing under your hands, cheeks flushing. it wasn't the first time he noticed how beautiful you were, but your allure only increased like this.
"you.. you do.." he muttered, not being able to turn his eyes away from you. yet again, neither were you. you leaned down further, remaining with your faces only a few inches apart.
it would've been so easy to kiss him right now. however, feeling your hips rub against his groin, he couldn't stop his body from reacting, his hands gripping your waist.
"[name], g- get down.."
Rengoku:
"flame breathing. third form: blazing universe!" he called out, his bamboo sword coming at you with immense speed. you barely managed to block his attack - meaning you didn't do it.
your body flew a few feet away, landing on the ground. with a quiet grunt, you turned onto your back. "i give up.." you sighed.
however, there was no audible reaction from Rengoku. turning your head towards him, you wanted to know what's wrong, only to see his wide eyes staring.
he shook his head, running towards you and kneeling down. "are.. are you okay?" he asked, seeing you nod. he didn't respond, as if he knew something you didn't.
"just tell me, Rengoku!" you pleaded, feeling yourself enter a state of panic. did you lose a leg? it wasn't like him to behave this way.
he moved his hand closer, placing his hand against the side of your stomach. your eyes widened, looking down at yourself, staring at your torn uniform.
not only the right side of your shirt, but also the entirety of your right pant leg was missing. you instantly sat up, trying to cover up.
"i didn't know, i will-" you tried excusing yourself, but fell silent when he squeezed your waist slightly, attention moving back to him.
"i'll bring you back." he answered, taking off his haori and pulling it over your form. it didn't help covering your leg, but at least your upper body looked a bit more presentable.
he scooped you into his arms, both your legs around his waist. you rested your chin on his shoulder, wishing to disappear. the whole situation was embarrassing, and even worse, you had felt warm when he touched your skin unhindered.
his hand held you up by your thighs, his grip on your right thigh a bit stronger. you could feel his fingers dig into the soft flesh of your leg, glancing up at him.
"you.. you're really soft." he quietly said, not able to hide his red face from you.
perhaps the whole situations had it's advantages.
Sanemi:
"stop running! just admit defeat!" he shouted after you, determined to get this fight over with. the only problem: you were extremely fast. you managed to dodge his attacks every time.
"never!" you answered, seeing him try to attack again. you were ready to dodge his bamboo sword, but were shocked to see him drop it mid-attack.
his hand shot towards you instead, quite literally knocking you down with his harsh hit. your back made contact with the ground, Sanemi tackling you down immediately.
"i win." he said, smirking at your defeated form. you tried freeing yourself, not able to push up with his hand on your neck.
"i didn't give up yet." you huffed out, feeling him squeezing your throat lightly - he was warning you. only that his warning didn't work as intended.
a quiet whimper escaped your lips, your cheeks flushing in embarrassment. he had heard the sound, you knew it.
"oh? didn't know you were into the rough treatment." he smirked - teased. your reaction was immediate, pressing your knee up and right against his crotch.
he groaned, letting go of you. he clearly hadn't expected you to do that, especially not after you pushed him away and freed yourself.
"didn't know you were into that, Shinazugawa."
"you-"
naturally, another fight started right after.
Giyuu:
how did this happen? thirty minutes of fighting just for your bamboo sword to be kicked to the side by him. he had been too fast for you, leaving you unable to react.
your back was pressed against the wall, wide eyes staring into his. he had caged you between the wall and his body, his form towering over you.
ocean eyes were deeply staring into yours, his hand pressing against the wall behind you. he couldn't tear his gaze away from your body, not when you were presented right in front of him.
"you lost." he stated, as if it wasn't obvious to the both of you. his eyes narrowed, his other hand moving towards you.
"if this had been a fight with a demon, you would've died." he said, making you feel like prey under his eyes. he placed his hand on your chin, thumb nearly grazing your lips.
"don't lose focus." he uttered, but his eyes had long broken their contact with yours. he was watching your lips instead, as if he was debating on a kiss.
"i wont." you answered breathlessly, getting his attention back on you. he let go of your chin, stepping away and picking up your sword.
"let's try it out." he taunted, neither of you really focusing on winning or losing now.
Gyomei:
this fight was unfair to begin with. without a doubt, you were one of the strongest swordsman in the corps. you've served as a hashira for three years now, but no one could win against Gyomei.
naturally, you admitted defeat when he threw you over half the lake, immediately asking whether you're fine or not.
your head broke through the water, gasping for air. the water was freezing cold, but you told him you're fine.
he still made the effort to help you out of the water, drenching his own clothes in the freezing liquid.
"are you sure you're okay?" he asked, big tears already rolling down his face again. you avoided your eyes from his form, not trying to appear inappropriate.
"i'm fine." you answered, looking at your own body. both of your clothes were quite see-through, giving you a greedy sight of his muscles and abs.
looking down at yourself, your clothes weren't any better. you thought of yourself as lucky, not wanting to live with the shame of letting him see so much of your body.
"come, it's freezing in here." he told you, pulling you into his arms and out of the water as he made his way out of it.
what you didn't know, was how his fingers could feel everything that you were seeing. your clothes stuck to your skin, not leaving much room for imagination.
he stepped out of the water, but instead of letting you down, his head tilted towards yours, foreheads nearly touching.
his hands squeezed your body, millions of thoughts running through his head. "you're.." he said, but he stopped, not wanting to do something he might regret later.
"you're still wet, we should get some dry clothes.." he told you instead, putting you down again, his hand sliding against your curves for a moment.
you watched him walk forward, your lips parted. was it wrong that you had hoped for him to continue?

This episode really highlighted how close Marcille, Laios, and Chilchuck actually are.
The viewer is used to seeing our main characters behave like coworkers up to this point—even friends—and they express normal, understandable levels of concern and fear when their other party members are in danger. But when the nightmare attacked Marcille, it brought out sides of Laios and Chilchuck that the viewer hadn’t seen before.
Laios immediately notices when something is wrong with Marcille, and he tells the others as soon as he’s sure of the problem. Chilchuck and Senshi then follow Laios’ lead as it becomes clear that he intends to make her get some rest.
We see Chilchuck’s hands lay out the bedroll and Senshi’s hands set up the pillow, working in almost perfect tandem as Laios physically wrangles Marcille into bed.
Senshi is in a similar perspective as the viewer, and mostly sits and watches the ordeal unfold. He doesn’t have a shared history, like these three do, so he helps in little ways, but mostly waits on standby for direction.
From here on out, it’s mostly Laios and Chilchuck who take over in planning how to help her.
It’s uncommon for Chilchuck to openly show such distress and worry for one of his party members. He’s used to Marcille being able to defend herself; he’s used to her being capable and strong. He immediately defers to Laios for instruction, (rightly) assuming he will know what to do.
This actually produces a reaction close to real fear from Chilchuck, who outright SMACKS her in a panic to wake her up before getting any further information.
Laios has to quickly stop him, explaining that he could truly hurt her if he interrupts the attack this way. He tells them how he’s going to wake her, and he doesn’t hesitate. He jumps straight in, explaining what he’s doing for the others so that they (Chilchuck) won’t be afraid.
Chilchuck doesn’t question him once. He just does what he can to hurry along the process. He tucks Laios in with his blanket as soon as he lays onto Marcille—an unnecessary action that betrays how much he cares for both of them.
And Laios succeeds in helping Marcille out of the nightmare’s grasp. While trapped in her mind, he reassures her, protects her, tells her how much she’s valued and appreciated. He isn’t embarrassed or sheepish about it, either; he openly declares these things like it’s the most normal and obvious thing in the world.
He gets her out, he saves her. He did the exact thing he set out to do, even though he’d never done it before, and only had Falin’s secondhand information to work with.
Once he wakes, Chilchuck immediately checks on him to see if he’s alright. Chilchuck is clearly still rattled, displeased with having to wait while both of his close friends were unconscious, fighting a battle neither he nor Senshi could see or help with.
Marcille wakes up shortly after Laios, but Chilchuck is still on edge, worrying that she’ll fall back asleep. Laios, too, has a moment of alarm when he makes sure she won’t close her eyes again.
Once he takes the subdued nightmares out of Marcille’s pillow, only then do Laios and Chilchuck relax.
Laios, for his part, remained calm and collected almost the entire time. He did not show panic or fear when it became clear that Marcille was being attacked, nor when he told the rest of the party what he’d be doing to help her. And once the nightmares had been collected from her bedroll, he gently explained what happened, to everyone else’s horror.
Seeing this, it’s not a huge surprise that the Touden party is so successful. We’ve seen Laios handle danger with a level head; we know he’s capable.
But it’s an entirely different kind of talent to face a threat that’s targeting one of your closest friends—which can make even the most competent fighter sloppy out of fear of losing them—one that requires a high-risk, specific rescue style that none of you have ever tried before. And then pull it off flawlessly. Like damn, these guys are lucky to have him.

࿐ ࿔ rivals... in love? — extended cut !
this is pure hysterics, i'm sorry but i can't resist! tysm for the brainrot amy!! @seonghrtz 🫶🏻 mwah mwah !!
a part of gojo's love entries
“you see… if you kiss me, i'll definitely show you just how great my lips actually are.”
you’d expect this sort of nonsense from gojo satoru, yet it was geto suguru who was standing in front of you with such genial smile that you were at a loss.
you dumbly blinked. “huh?”
“satoru said i taste like a cursed spirit, yeah?” suguru didn't seem offended, at least from how he was wording it and that eye smile. “that's a really foul accusation. i’m here to clarify—”
you widened your eyes, almost cringing. “no, no! you don’t have to—”
“SUGURU! YOU SWINE!”
a resounding bang. you whipped your head towards the door in total panic, which was... fortunately still tightly shut. satoru, who had openly declared that he was into you in the previous chapter, was hurling profanities towards his best friend, pounding against the door, visibly vexed.
“you… locked the door?” you questioned suguru in disbelief, and he merely shrugged.
“for safety purposes, yeah.”
well, if you look at satoru now... he did look like a super angry cat who was ready to pounce on suguru and claw him to shreds.
“he could've blasted it.” you glanced apprehensively toward the door, catching his eyes, and in an instant, satoru's scowl turned into the most hopeful expression of a wagging puppy—hoping for you to saunter towards him instead and desert his friend altogether.
suguru chuckled. “he can, yes, but he'll be facing yaga afterwards.”
and you. there was no way he'd scare you off by blasting a ‘red’ on a doorframe. you were clueless, but suguru knew just how soft satoru could make himself to be if it was for you.
you sighed. all you wanted was to go back to your dorms following an exhausting mission. you truly had little energy to entertain this.
meanwhile, outside, satoru was this close to kick the door off its hinges. he was having about thirty different heart attacks by witnessing how close suguru was to your vicinity. his chance was quite literally slipping by each second.
and when in his attempt to hear what the two of you were saying—
“let us just kiss then, to see what it’s like—”
“geto-san, what the—!”
and in that moment, he really saw green and really used a bit more force, tearing the knob— bang!
“don't you dare to get close to my girl, you slimy bangs!”
kapow! pow!
what was even happening? one second, suguru was almost leaning in for that kiss, and the next, satoru popped out of nowhere, tackling him to the ground. and you stood there, utterly bewildered, caught between the whirlwind of their catfight.
your first crush, whom you thought was sensible, and the most obnoxious boy who was whipped for you like a fool...
losers, you absentmindedly thought to yourself. both of them. losers…
“satoru, you're incorrigible!”
“the audacity! you know very well i like her and yet—!”
and yet, a small smile tugged at your lips when you saw how red-faced satoru was. he was genuinely upset to see you with suguru, and that sparked a sense of achievement within you.
“let's see if you will be able to make him say it...”
while you pondered, almost giddy, you were undoubtedly sure about two things at that moment: one, maybe gojo satoru wasn't that bad, he was kinda cute even, and you might consider him... and two—
shoko lost the bet, and you won.
