nobody asked for this, but I wanted to share it in case anyone else wanted it & also to have somewhere to direct people whenever I do inevitably get asked about it.

I love this cas mod by criisolate (version 1), but it always kinda bothered me that adults looked sort of hunched over, so I taught myself how to edit poses and straightened the ol' neck & head. I also moved the legs a little further apart, although as I sit here typing this I've realised I kind of picked the worst possible pair of pants imaginable to try and show that. just trust me lol

this edit is only of the adult pose in version 1 of this mod - I have not touched anything else!

I only tweaked the pose; full credit for the mod itself goes to criisolate and to the creators of the poses he used for it (of whom I am unsure, 'noelyely' is the name attached to the pose but criisolate has credited the pose creators in his original post either way).

hi! i went through what i think are the relevant tags but didn't really find an answer.. so i know im attracted to women (want sex and long term relationship w them), but how do you suggest going abt determining if my lack of attraction to men (i dont want to have sex w them or build a life w them) is natural (which would make me a lesbian) or learned bc men are f-ing scary (which would make me bi). i hope my question makes sense?

You make total sense, and I think this is a common doubt for les/bi women who are questioning. I think it’s important to first acknowledge that it could be both. Just because one has a natural lack of interest in men, it doesn’t mean they couldn’t on top of that also learn that men are dangerous, and so have this extra layer of disregard for them.

Apart from that... Only you can truly answer this question. But I can speak to my experience of how I got my answer.

When I first got into radical feminism, I had identified as bi/pan for like 6 years. Becoming rad caused me to face a few facts of bisexuality (namely, that transmen are actually female, and therefore being able to experience attraction to them doesn’t mean you’re bisexual as a woman). I spent a while questioning, I talked to febfems about my experience, talked to a couple of lesbians about it also. 

At the end of the day, what tipped me to understanding that I was a lesbian was the pure realization that I had never in my life actually wanted a relationship with a man. Growing up I never understood women could even marry other women (gay marriage was legalized in Brazil after I had come out even), and so I used to say I’d rather die than get married. Because I sincerely thought that marriage was between a man and a woman, and I knew in my heart of hearts I’d never want to be with a man. This realization led to me thinking I was febfem for a while, but then eventually understanding that the only relationships I could ever care about and nourish and be happy in would be relationships with women. And boom, I knew I was a lesbian. 

So maybe you’ve never experienced any attraction to anyone until now, and so you can’t be sure if you ever even thought about men outside of a political lens, through which you can’t help but hate their grimy little guts... I mean just ask yourself honestly, and trust your gut... Could you ever have a happy, fulfilling romantic relationship with a man? If yes... You’re bi. That’s totally okay, you can be febfem (female exclusive bisexual female if you haven’t heard of it before). If not... Then you’re a lesbian. It’s that simple.

If you still can’t be sure... I’d go by febfem until proven wrong lol Which is actually what I did. It’s okay to not be certain, it’s okay to be mistaken. It’s also okay to go by lesbian, if you think that’s what’s right. It wouldn’t be a crime to figure out later on that you were wrong. It doesn’t matter. As long as you’re respectful of lesbianism as female homosexuality, it’s okay to be unsure and go with what feels right for now. Your sexuality is your own, you don’t owe it to anyone to have it all figured out right away. All we expect is respect, and that if maybe you’re wrong about being les, you don’t later say you were a lesbien who liked men or something wild like that. Anything else is alright.

My Comments: I have a thing for Druid!Merlin apparently, and this fic falls into that.  Most recent chapter left off on a cliffhanger so I’m :OOO atm but it’s VERY GOOD and I recommend you all read this one as well :D

My Comments: Probably the fluffiest thing on this list.  A crossover with Three Musketeers in which the author literally swaps Santiago Cabrera’s characters.  That’s it, that’s the story.  But it’s not just crack- there’s angst, there’s emotions, and overall what I feel is a realistic reaction to what would happen if this, well, happened lol.  I especially adore the scenes in which Lancelot is learning French- THE AUTHOR ACTUALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THERE’S A LANGUAGE BARRIER- IT’S GREAT.

Knowledge does not mean Understanding by Selene467

A dangerous conflict in which Merlin all but sacrifices himself to save everyone else, shows Arthur that there is far more to Merlin than he thought possible. Gaius wasn't kidding when he told Arthur that Merlin was the strongest sorcerer ever to have lived.

My Comments: I greatly enjoy the non-linear story telling of this one- with the present interspersed with flashbacks to the magic reveal, it allows the reader to see what happened without just an info dump lol (also I’m considering trying that style myself now).   Just I recommend this one too lol

My Comments: With Arthur angsting over the fact that he thinks he’s literally killed Merlin gd and Merlin being, well, not treated well in an enemy lord’s dungeon, this fic is hurt/comfort gold.  At least, when the comfort part reaches lol.  But with intrigue, and emotions running high, this fic is a good one and I sincerely hope it updates soon lmao

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Remind me again why I’m not doing replies regularly. I always end up with a post longer than my future.

Ooh, yeah, a new banner for replies! I didn’t like the old one because the size was wrong and tumblr turned it a little blurry. It should’ve been 540 px but the banner was 500px or something. And I was getting sick of it, too.

Anyway, yesterday was great. I drank a little too much (was that noticeable from my tweets? I think it was), but I’m okay now. I wasn’t even that sick in the morning. Basically yesterday evening was mum saying things like “Ronnie no you’ll be sick” and me replying “Ronnie yes you’re a responsible adult now”. Yeah. I’m not a responsible adult, by the way. But I didn’t get sick, bonus points for me! :D

As for my saves, I’m 100% sure where I’ll switch the queue to sims 4 again. I need to get to a very bittersweet (who am I kidding, it’s just very bitter and sad) point with Roses and then we’re ready to go. Actually, no, I’m not ready. I will never be ready. Why am I playing a legacy. Why do I have to let them go.

The queue today will be just 8 posts long because that’s all that’s left of the Christmas thing. Tomorrow we’re back to regular 9 posts a day. I don’t think I could keep 15 posts a day with school going on.

I hope I didn’t disappoint you, then! I must admit, in the original plans (March/April 2017) it was supposed to be much more dramatic and stuff, but in the end I didn’t feel like doing it. Instead, I decided to go for a much calmer “what if Angel knew all along?” route. Also I didn’t want to turn Angel into a complete bitch so there’s that.

She never posts this time when there. Also she tagged a woman who lives in France and is her friend. So Norman did not travel to Germany to see her nor did he go back to the US to see her. Not a coincidence with that Spain fiasco. But what's really going on. I still don't understand any of it. Surely he wouldn't lie with his Reps officially like he did and then be shown to look like a lying sneaking asshole 2 weeks later? Somethins weird --mod-- I doubt his PR people got in touch with HC. That women does her own thing. Only time will tell what's going on

Anon: Let more theories begin HC has started following DK on IG I have to say I do find it strange that if DK & NR are at odds and not getting along that HC would follow maybe she does approve of them and it's only a matter of time now that they do come out as a couple since I think HC approval would be one that NR would want along with his friends so time will tell how this all plays out --mod-- But why would, if they were a couple, need or want her permission.

Anon: Mod can I submit something about the dk mess for the Modblog? I just don't think Norman would make everyone who works for him look Untrustworthy and unreliable if he were lying with the PR statement. It makes it look so shady if he issued a release like that and then he is caught sneaking around with her after. Everything feels so staged right now. They haven't been seen together for a year but now twice in the past 2 weeks paparrazi "catch" them? This feels like Publicity
