REVIEW

I loved this episode!! I thought it was really good :D. The scary vibe was really cool lol :). And while the isolation would've been interesting, I think it fit well into the time slot it was given, and I'm glad we got to see the others still. Also, again, it helped us move storylines along without wasting time, which is something that unfortunately needs to be done in this shorter season 😭. Still, besides Aaron and Celina maybe being a bit quick (but I'm not mad about it lol), nothing seems too rushed! Anyway, it was a really great episode :D. Loved all the plots :)! Also there were some really hilarious moments XDD 😂. Even a laughing emoji, I know, I'm crazy lol (thought about just saying "wild lol", bc it's just something I don't tend to do).

Also,regarding this review: again, not quite as serious as my main ones lol

I'm really glad I got to watch this tonight by the way, if not live :D it was a cool episode :)!! I nearly said live just a second ago though lol, and I was like ". . what am I talking about? And what am I actually trying to say here lol" xD. That's what I had to do to get here lol. Anyway!

Back a week later lol. I want to watch last night's (the next one compared to this review) episode tonight, so this will be quick lol.

Loved seeing my besties Angela and Nyla!! They didn't do too much in the way of actually stopping what was happening in the island, but I do think it's definitely a good thing they showed up. They got everything sorted and hey, they got a little vacation out of it too. And got to be epic 🥰. Slay, I love them <33. I did miss Wesley though lol, and James too. Also Gray just being like "whatever" was iconic lol.

Tim, Lucy, and Celina's case was wild lol!! I am glad they didn't just dismiss it, and actually figured out what happened. Even with the mind games, Celina seriously slayed this episode :DD.

LUCY MADE DETECTIVE!!! YAYYY WHOO CONGRATS GIRL 🥳🥳🥰🥰🥰. She did get 17th, but you know, it counts!! She slayed anyway <33. And the scene at the end with her and Tim was so cute 🥰🥰. Your honor I love them so much 😭😭❤️🥺🥰.

I don't remember what Aaron did much, but I do remember that him and Celina are doing better!! And I'm really glad for that :). They could be cute together, but I love them as friends and I really think it was just his trauma. Glad they're doing better now though :)).

John and Bailey!! Using his first name since it's his honeymoon lol. He deserves it xD. Anyway, I am so glad they're okay lol. Kinda idiots for going to people's houses in the middle of the night and what not, not to mention following murder sounds, but hey xD. What can you do lol, they're heroes. Anyway, these trouble magnets made it xD. And hey, at least they had a bit of honeymooning in there lol! I am glad they got their bit at the end though :')). It sucks the actual thing didn't work out too well, but I'm happy for them overall <3.

Overall, I really loved this episode! I thought the format was cool, and even if it would've made it feel more isolated, I'm glad we didn't just see Bailey and Nolan. Plus, everyone else had plots that did need moving along. Still, it was really enjoyable! Loved the creepy vibes, it was so fun :D.

So yeah! I really liked this episode, it was a nice switch of pace from what it usually is. I'm excited for the next one! This has been my review of. . .

I read your whole Slipping Through Your Fingers fic last night.

I hated it 😭😭

It left me with this indescribable feeling (dread? bittersweet? Regret?). It was such a compelling piece of writing with an unexpected storyline and complex character relationships.

I did not expect the reader’s relationship with her son to be the main focus over her relationship with Nate. And I certainly didn’t expect an absence of a romantic storyline between her and Nate. Most of all, I didn’t expect the ending.

I was just so sad in ch 8 when the reader hasn’t seen Andrew in 2 years (why couldn’t she visit him or him visit her?!! Why was he not trying with his mom and their relationship?) and he said he wouldn’t visit her. I was disheartened that the reader and Nate’s friendship deteriorated the way it did (how did he not show more sympathy for the ready when he knew what it was like to be so separated from their son?). I was also questioning if the reader was selfish for not moving back to NA with Andy to be closer to his father and better hockey resources. But then I was saddened that she felt she failed at giving Andrew the life he wanted.

Andrew was her life for 16 years and then he just seemed to leave her behind. I understand why she’s happy her son was achieving his dream and she was ok with it coming at the expense of her relationship with him. She was just pleased to have him pick up the phone after he won.

But yeah, I guess I was surprised by her happy acceptance at the end because I was left feeling devastated and mad at everyone involved.

Thought that’s life I guess? We have to cope with disappointment and accept it when certain expectations aren’t met. There’s a reason we turn to places like tumblr to read stories with elaborate happy endings. Things didn’t do the way the reader thought they would, but it wasn’t only her storyline. It was also Andrew’s and she had to change course for Andrew to start living his.

So I tell myself these aren’t ending but merely snapshots along the way. (I’m telling myself she eventually moves closer to him or at least they rebuild their relationship :)

Not that I’ve left a novel, I’d love your intention behind the story. Did I grossly misinterpret anything? Why did you have it end the way it did? Do you think it was a happy ending?

Anyway, excellent story! Haven’t read anything else like it on tumblr. (Plz now do an AU one shot where we get our stereotypical happy ending with them (only partially joking)).

This whole story came to me randomly one night and I was like: alr this is pure pain lemme write it lmao

But in general, I wanted to write something different from the ordinary. Like, I didn't want the usual pregnancy trope that ended with a lovestory, I didn't want the perfect relationship between parents and kids that I've portrayed before in For You, I'd Become Hercules.

I wanted something a little more realistic, that started with focusing on happy memories and ended with mourning them.

You definitely didn't misinterpret the reader being selfish at points. I saw it too, while writing the whole story. Her having her dream job and not wanting to drop it definitely played in her downfall with Andrew.

Also, there's a subtle hint on how Nathan might have gotten into his son's head, making him focus on hockey so much he actually forgot about other people, one of them being his mother.

The ending is DEFINITELY not a happy ending, but it certainly could have ended worse in my opinion. Y/N and Andrew aren't necessarily on bad terms, and it's just the start of a new relationship between them, something different from what they already had built.

Now that I've written a whole novel too, thank you again for reading ❤️ this is truly one of the best asks I've ever gotten ❤️

I loved this episode so much y'all. Seeing Claire again 😭😭 AAHHHH!! The Parknik wedding :'DDD AAHHHHH!!! Hannah getting help :')) 🥰🥰🥺!! And everything else :')). It was such a great episode, a really good second to last episode <33. Setting up the ending and having enough drama but still managing to bring closure to everyone's storylines <33. I'm glad everyone's okay (ignoring the last two minutes) this time, but I can't really say that till after next time xd. If I get to lol. But yeah, amazing episode :'DD 🥰🥰🥰.

Overall, I really loved this episode. It was so good!! And it went over everyone's storylines, especially the OGs, but it still felt natural. Like, I could tell they were doing it (some times more than others, some times more in character/fitting with the plot/moment than others), but each of them felt unique, not just the same rehashing tactic each time :'D. I noticed that while writing this review and really enjoyed it <33. I think everyone's getting really good endings (even if I'm still salty about Asher and forever will be - angry and sad, straight up, actually xdd). Also, the cases were really cool this episode :'D. Well, really, one was Claire, but you know lol. Anyway, it was a really great episode 🥰🥰❤️. I'm gonna miss this darn show so much :')). I'm not ready for them to leave me xdd 😭🥺🥺💔❤️. Still, a great episode that everyone absolutely slayed in, characters and actors, no matter what they were doing :) <3. Also the unconditional love theme was just amazing 😭😭❤️. I thought this episode was super good! It had some really funny bits but also some really good heartfelt parts :)). Plus, the cases were good! Anyway yeah, I liked how it all flowed today :)). Some really great scenes btween pairs we don't often see together/haven't seen in a while, and I liked the cases too! Now, time for the individual parts!

Btw, Jerome I missed you this episode 🥰😭. Hole we see my boy again next time <3.

Lol, anyway. Park tine real quick! And then some Morgan :). I CAN'T BELIEVE KELLEN IS 21 😭😭😭. Aaaah that's too old/long :')). Anyway, I'm glad Park gets to go out with him <333. Now, Morgan :)). It was really interesting seeing her decisions this episode! I think she should give herself a little time, for her body to be ready for implantation and such again, and now especially since she's starting that new job. But I'm really glad we got to see her getting a bunch of different opinions - well, several, anyhow lol. Lim, who ended up choosing work (whether that was entirely on purpose or not) - Park, who regrets not spending more time with his son - and Andrews, who despite his mother not being around as much as some others still manages to have a close relationship with her. I think they were all important in her making her decision :). And I'm glad she went with what she did! If it makes her happy and she can do it, I'm happy :). Also if she totally quit that would suck because then we wouldn't have her around anymore xD. But, yeah :)). I'm super proud of her :'DDD ❤️❤️🥰! And I'm really interested in seeing where this storyline goes!

Onto Andrews! He wasn't around much this episode, but he was good for what he was :). Around for, that is. Quick check-in with Lim, offering Morgan that job of course!! And telling Morgan about his mom :). That was a super sweet story too, I loved that <3. Also, I feel like it makes sense a bit for how he is as a person? He's career driven, yk, stuff like that. Not that I think his mom was a bad parent or anything, or that he would be, but yeah :). Anyway, great for the bit we saw of him 🥰.

Lim :))! I'll be honest, I was a bit frustrated with her for not taking much input on the case, but it wasn't that bad :). Everybody makes mistakes, and she still was taking some input - she was just very invested in the patient. Which isn't a bad thing! It just didn't display well here. I am glad that she acknowledged what she missed and was mostly reasonable about stuff, though :)). Plus, she wasn't all wrong lol - and like Asher said, she performed the surgery beautifully (not that I saw it lol). Anyway, besides that, I really did like her advice to Morgan! Each piece, each person's view, had its own benefits, but we know that Morgan often has trouble, or at least has had trouble before, with pulling back a bit. Not being able to get everything. Not like a petty child or anything, just that she's very much driven for getting everything she wants :). But, Lim is a perfect option if choosing - she did, and now it's Morgan's turn (which she obviously did/has XDD). Anyway, I thought it was a sweet scene :). Lim was amazing this episode and did great work (medicine/surgery wise lol).

Now it's time for Glassman :D! I thought he was great this episode :). I'm glad him staying with Shaun and Lea wasn't TOO bad lol - besides The Incident™ -, I was scared of that XD. Seeing all the ways him and Shaun are similar was adorable :'DDD. And him recounting the memories held within that house? 😭😭😭❤️. It meant even more after finding out it burned down too :'((( 😭😭😭💔❤️. I should've been more suspicious XD. But I was just going along with it lol :). Anyway, next time is definitely gonna be r o u g h for him, but he was great this episode :). Also him cooking so much food (and getting the croissants) was nice, and polite :D!

Perez :)! AAAHHHHHH 😭😭❤️🥰❤️!! I'm so glad he's okay, and that he didn't relapse :'). I didn't appreciate him not backing Asher, but I totally get what he was saying. He is definitely in a different situation than Asher is - he's a newer resident, and he's having to constantly prove that he's not an addict. And he is :')). Also, like I mentioned, I loved all those locker room scenes :D. Theyre a good way to see people interacting basically outside of work, when besides Shaun and Lea, we usually don't. Especially for the residents. I think it's a cool look into a different environment (even if it's not that different lol). Anyway, I'm glad Danny did support Asher eventually lol, and I'm glad Lim acknowledged his doing good work as well :))). Also, his scenes with Asher were hilarious a lot of the time XD. The sibling energy was off the charts :). Anyway! That ending was so emotional 😭😭😭❤️. I'm so proud of him, and happy that he made it :')). Or, he did it, I guess :). <333.

Speaking of Perez, Asher :DD! I loved him this episode 🥰. I mean, I always love him (I always love all of them pretty much lol, though sometimes I'm a bit mad at them too xD), but he was great this episode :). I was definitely thinking he should've been more careful talking to Lim (I still do lol), but it all worked out in the end, and he came up with the saving idea :D. I thought his scenes with Perez were hilarious, like I said XD. They were totally acting like siblings lol. I love them <33. And again, I really liked those locker room scenes :). Also, I think it's interesting and fun we got to see Asher's tendency to suck up again lol! We saw it more back when he was a newer resident obviously, and it may not be my favorite thing, but I like the consistency in character :). Even though he was genuinely excited, he didn't have to say it lol, and I think it was that tendency peeking through :). It was cool to see! Anyway, I love him ❤️❤️🥰.

Now Jordan!! I loved her this episode, even if I thought she was pushing too hard with the case. But again, there are certain character traits that, even if we see them less or to a lesser degree, are still there, and this is one of them for Jordan :). Mostly though, I liked her storyline with Lea :D. A) I love my besties :)), B) I thought it was really cool how she has a different view of sex than others! It's always nice to have different perspectives on things, and to display that in shows. Whether she's on the asexual spectrum or not (which I think would be a cool headcanon :DDD 🥰!), it was an interesting situation :). I'm also glad Lea apologized :D, and that Jordan talked about being judged (lightly) for it. That's something that's often overlooked with things like that, or even just opinions that dissent from the common one. Maybe I just relate, idk :). But yeah, it sucks that she did have to deal with that 😭, but I really loved the plot :DD 🥰🥰❤️. And, I love her :D :)) <3!

Now, lastly, Shaun and Lea :))!!! I loved them this episode 🥰🥰🥰. I thought they were great! As I said, seeing Shaun and Glassman's similarities :'D, especially Lea's reactions to them, was so cute :))). And YESSS we survived Glassman STAYING with them xdd - although, it's probably not ocer what with the house burning down and everything xd. And of course, The Incident™. Literally throughout 80% of that scene I had turned the volume down some, half turned away and half covered my view of the screen with my arm, and was saying "This hurts my soul this hurts my soul this hurts my soulllll this hurts my SOULLLLLLL this hurts my soul thi-" the entire time XDD. In short, I was suffering. Probably not as traumatized as them, but still lol. Also Shaun just like 👁️👄👁️ in that scene XDD an icon lol. Anyway, they were just generally adorable this episode :). They were supportive, they were in love, they were polite with the whole Glassman situation lol, they had family dinners :D, and they were just all around amazing 🥰🥰. Now xd. That being said, lol. I am S C A R E D for the next episode xdd. I know they're gonna be fine, but it's gonna hurt like H E C K first xD. Hopefully it mostly get resolved in one episode, though <3 - I couldn't take it if it took longer xD. Anyway, they better be okay 😭😭😭💔❤️. I'm sure they will be, but still lol <333. Also, Shaun was great on the case of course :)). I'm glad he didn't push too much about the sex thing, either - it fits his character but besides that there needed to be an opposite to Jordan :). It wasn't that Shaun necessarily agreed that she should be having sex, he just knee it wasn't his business legally and moved on. So yeah, idk, I liked that :). Not that I would've been having sex that young lol. Anyway, yeah, I loved them this episode 🥰🥰🥰❤️ :DD!!

And very quickly, a special section: Missing you, Powell :'(( 😭. I think it won't be totally weird for a couple of episodes since she was just gone sometimes xD, but I do miss her already :'). You shall be remembered Danni ❤️🥰.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode. I thought all the plots were really good, and the cases were interesting. It'll definitely be different moving forward without Danni, but to wasn't too bad today. A bit off, but we made it and I think we'll be fine for the next couple of times too (and after that lol), even when it is more apparent. Anyway, I loved the different pairs we got to see this episode :). Or even not pairs, but just interactions in general - it was really cool and fun to see :D. I loved those different angels that we got! Now, I am scared and very nervous for the next episode, even though I'm sure everything will work out okay lol. I can still be stressed XD! I am excited though :). Especially because some stuff from this episode is bound to come up next episode or soon, like Glassman's house (obviously) and Danny's almost relapse/being at the church. Well, we'll see how it all plays out! But about this episode, I thought it was great, and everyone had a good amount of focus - besides Park lol.

Okay, so, first off, Owen!!!

Now, I wouldn't say I HATED the storyline - it definitely wasn't my favorite, sure, but it was definitely funny xD. And like, I think the ending of it is an example that Owen's really just not that good at communication. Like, it's that simple. We've seen it before, and we're seeing it again. Hopefully he's going to eventually realize (if he hasn't already), actually think about it, seek help with it, and get better. But, still, after it all lol, Horacio is adorable and I love him and he's my child <33. Also same to Judd because he's awesome and amazing and such a great friend and I love him xDD. All of those apply to both of them, yes the vice versa includes Horacio XDD. Let me love my children 😌😌😌.

And CARLOS!! He really just couldn't get it :'((. My poor boy. I know that it really sucks when you just don't get something xdd. Especially when the thing you can't understand is something about other people, lol. But like, he just wanted to help TK in the best way possible - with a caveat.

The best way HE thought possible.

Or more, I suppose, the best way possibly in HIS opinion. In his own mind. Based on his own needs and how he expresses his love (most often, that is). He needed to learn how to love and show his love to TK in the way TK needed, to help him in the way TK needs not Carlos. And even if he didn't fully understand it at first, or doesn't fully understand it now, he's reassured. He knows that TK isn't cutting him out of this part of his life - he's just knowing that Carlos can't help him in all the ways he needs. The best thing Carlos can do is get TK the help he needs. Help him find other people to help him, and support him in doing so. And finally, he's starting to learn 😭😭😭.

He made a mistake, but TK forgave him for it and they both just tried to keep the conversation going - in a good way. Nobody walked out, nobody left, nobody panicked - they just had an open, adult discussion about it. You can see all their astounding growth and I'm so, so proud of them 😭😭😭😭 :'))).

Also there were some really freaking adorable moments between the two of them this episode 😭😭😭 xDDD.

Anyway!!

Overall! I really, really, really, REALLY l o v e d this episode. It was amazing :D. It was so amazingly well done. It had some absolutely AMAZING and ADORABLE Tarlos moments, Owen being an idiot but he love him for it lol, Catherine standing up for herself - yesss girl gooo xdd Even if it was surprising lol, not for her exactly but just that whole thing and the break up for it, mostly the level they went to in reaction I guess xDD. Anyway, Owen got what he deserved, Judd is iconic, Tommy is lovely, as is the amazing - oh hey lol, that is her nickname xD - Grace 🥰🥰. And as always I love Mateo, Marjan, and Paul 🥰🥰🥰.

So! Yeah. I absolutely adored this episode :)). I loved it, it was amazing, and definitely one of my favorites of Season 3 so far <33. So great :DD 🥰!!!

Okay! So, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS EPISODE!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

Now, this review will probably be short (hopefully - and also because I might have my eye on writing something 👀. . . Maybe Carlos combined with spring break has done it for me xDD), but rest assured I adored it all :))

Anyway!! Owen. Eh, not my favorite storyline ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I've honestly even had ones this season that I prefer. But, it wasn't horrible. I mean, c'mon, we got Catherine c a l l i n g h i m t h e f r i c k o u t, yes, icon, even if she's not my favorite, we got some Mateo, Tommy, Paul, AND TK shoved in there at some point (Judd too, obviously, but my point is we saw him at other points :)) ), so that was nice :D. Not much Marjan ://. But, I did love her being there in the first bit, even if it wasn't for much :)). I miss her and I love her <33. And poor girl to have to see that :((. Any of them, obviously, I'm just talking about her right now lol. She doesn't deserve it, and none of them do :'( 😭😭.

Anyway! PAUL :DD. Literally my reaction lol. Glad we got to see a little bit of how he's doing :)), makes sense to do a follow-up, but this episode was already jam-packed (mostly with Owen 🙄🙄 - but again I say, at least he got put into his place 😌😌 twice xDD). Still very happy to see my boy though :DDD. I love him <33. Also, as I saw someone else mention, yesss!! His concern for Owen 🥰🥰. Even when he won't take care of himself lol. Also, him and Tommy ALSO calling Owen out, for various things XDD. Beautiful.

And, as a plus to the Owen storyline, we got to see a dead pig :D. The threat mostly is the fun part :)). Overall: I loved this episode! We got to see a little bit of everyone - except Nancy. 😒. Anyway! We got a Carlos storyline, AND a Grace storyline, and the Owen plot wasn't horrible either! Plus, it had the high points of his friends and others taking him down a peg, or trying to anyway, even through threats :)). And, uh, even if we don't like those >:(. No threats. Bad. Doo dee doo. . . But I'm just saying I think it's telling that I put >:) at first. That's all I'm saying!

Lol, anyway, I loved the episode. Not to even mention the background TK :)), and the RYDERS!! MMH, love them <33. And really, I can't deny Carlos was looking hot xDD <33. And also adorable lol <33 xD. Mostly because of his hair :') (happy). Ahh. Such a good boy :). Not like, in a weird way, just- idk like a blorbo kind of.
