Fair enoug, I’m partial to a black jersey or like any jersey that has black in it so the red and black ones are my vibe. Tho Finland has won in the jerseys by miles 😂😂(is it bad I want them to get gold in one of the teams so I can see it with that medal😂). Also a really nice jersey (and I’m bias here) are the new iihf GB ones like the 2019-2021 ones like those are clean . And it’s so fun to watch live right!! I haven’t watched one in ages (ones I play don’t count) so I can’t wait to start going again). I also feel like being in the crowd Live is so fun too cause of all the chants (a game I went to the crowd chirped the other team, our team, the refs and people in the crowd cause of the team on their jersey)

Campbell didn’t play at all in the last 2 games, it was maschmeyer in Kingston and desbiens in Ottawa, it’s disappointing because I wanted her to get a shot and yeah there’s more games but they said the final rosters will be announced mid December so it’s pretty obvious she won’t be on it 😔

Yes!!!! Fights!!! The one in the first period was right at Canada’s net, it was the kinda thing where desbiens had the puck and the us players poked at her you know as they do but it was funny because Jenner was the one who started the fight like she threw herself on top of the us player but it was Clark who took her gloves off and actually threw punches with the us player so she got the pen, the us player got one too so it was 4 on 4, but if you ask me Clark was innocent!! But the us player literally threw her gloves like they went flying I think it was either knight or stecklein who had to pick up her gloves and bring them to the penalty box because she threw them so far

But I don’t know for sure who went after fillier but she was tall af and my heart says stecklein but that’s only because she took a lot of pens, I think fillier is a year older than me so 22, but it was crazy because there was 4 us players around her and the refs tried to break it up but the us player just put fillier in a headlock through the ref and as soon as they got split up all the Canada players just left so it was like tiny fillier surrounded by 4 giant us players but as soon as they split up they were both laughing and joking with each other I was like umm ma’ams you just tried to kill each other but now you’re bffs?? But there was a lot of hits in the game like a shit ton like they were out for blood

It just seems like a design flaw because the way to get to the visiting bench without going on the ice is from the opposite end of the rink than where the locker rooms are so the visiting coaches have to either waddle across the ice or walk all the way around the entire stadium but I won’t complain I enjoyed it 😂

And yes it was so awesome to watch it live!! The crowd was in to it!! We were cheering or booing every hit every time the us had the puck we were booing every time Canada had it we were cheering, we were letting the refs know what we thought about some of those calls though some of them were bs

I was behind the Canada net!! So thankfully all the goals were scored in the second so none were scored in front of me 😂 but that was also where the ice entrance from the locker rooms was so the players came on the ice right in front of me, but I’m so disappointed in myself because I don’t own a hockey jersey (yet Christmas is coming) but my dad does and I was home for Halloween and already had the tickets so I knew I was going but I completely forgot to borrow one of my dads jerseys so I just had to wear red and white but I felt like a fool because I could’ve had a jersey like my dad has multiple team Canada jerseys I’m disappointed in myself 😔

I don’t think or I don’t know if they aired the anthems on tv but in case they didn’t, the us was lined up for a while but Canada huddled around their net for a bit and then everyone skated past desbiens before going to line up and mpp and daoust were waiting to be the last ones but daoust realized very quick that they were starting the anthems so she just quick pat and then whipped it to get in line but mpp and desbiens didn’t realize so they stood there talking until the anthem actually started playing and I saw the “oh shit” look in mpp’s eyes and they both sprinted to get in line and get their helmets off but mpp couldn’t get hers like she was rushing to get it off so she wasn’t unclipping it right so she didn’t get her helmet off until well into the star spangled banner and I just thought that was funny 😂 captain Canada disrespecting the anthem

But for real like when her and desbiens realized what was happening like mpp had a moment of panic before it turned into laughing you know when you and your friend do something wrong and get caught and you both at each other and laugh because it’s like oh shit I can’t believe that just happened like that was mpp and desbiens it was *panic* *wait this is actually kinda funny* *now sprint* and you could tell everyone was giving mpp shit for not being able to get her helmet off 😂

I don't like speculating on persons outside of BTS because it's their private life and they didn't sign up for this. Plus it can be very invasive and my conscience just won't let me...

But I don't think Jimin moves on that easily or quickly from a breakup to be honest. He values human relationships and connections with other people and has a very high emotional intelligence quotient to resort to 'using' others to fix his emotional problems.

He cares about others' feelings and how his actions impact them emotionally- I mean did you see him turn to Kook to ask if Kook was ok with him saying he liked him on camera during one of their logs in the early days?

He is awfully self aware in the way that he conducts himself around people. It's why I smirk when people say he 'harasses' JK often and that JK doesn't like him being all over him. Believe me, Jimin doesn't do anything JK whipped ass don't enjoy. And when he seem like he is pushing JK's boundaries a tad bit much or smothering JK, it's usually him teasing JK and JK knows it. They both have a way of using things that make eachother uncomfortable to tease eachother and I don't think they both mind- I think people need to stop acting like Jikook abuse eachother when they tease eachother.

They abuse eachother alright- in bedroom huh! Lol. Sorry. Couldn't help it. Lmho.

The best example I can give you of this is these two recent Run episodes. If you pay attention to the sequence of events and the progression of Jikook's interactions, you would notice how JM was trying a little bit harder to interact with JK in the beginning of the episode and JK kept pulling away to enforce his boundaries?

But when JM noticed JK wasn't open to recieve and reciprocate those advances he was making he sort of backed away immediately. As such, towards the end of episode 116 and throughout 117 you could see JM respecting those boundaries JK was putting up with him. As such, he would reserve himself and would move past JK and offer his hug to the other members instead- out of respect for Kook, not spite. Mind you.

I think he is more likely to try and fix his relationship with Kook than to rebound with other people or try to be with other people knowing full well he still has feelings for Kook. Listen, Jimin is not letting go of his feelings for Kook anytime soon. He is too deep in it. I mean this is the person who's said when he falls in love he wants it to be forever. He is not letting JK go anytime soon.

This is the person who keeps reiterating how he wants to be with BTS as a group forever. He values connections and is sentimental about them. He is sentimental about JK and he values his connection with JK.

Besides, JM has friends and emotionally fulfilling relationships outside of his relationship with Kook that he consciously waters and nurtures. So often when he goes through a Kook withdrawal there are people there to offer him that emotional support. In my opinion. Lol.

I can't say same for Kook. He is naturally emotionally closed off and it takes time for him to let people in but once he does he tends to keep those connections forever too. I think. I mean, he is an introvert and people like that prefer keeping a close knit circle of friends made of one or two people they are intimately or closely attached to rather than maintaining a wider circle of friends.

You don't need me to tell you that Jimin is his circle within the circle. Lol.

It seems also that he doesn't consciously go out of his way to nurture connections with people outside of his close circles the way JM does. Especially if you hear the members talk about how he takes an entire year to return text messages, how he doesn't even see the importance of going out of his way to wish his bandmates a happy birthday on social when everyone else is doing it, how he doesn't bother to gift others presents on their birthday except for the one person within the group he is emotionally attached to.

How he's had a falling out with Tae over the years but didn't even bother to make a conscious effort to fix things with him leaving Tae with no choice but to passive aggressively shade him for it throughout the years- complaining about getting used to JK ignoring him behind cameras and what not.

Jk is very selective about who and which relationship he goes out of his way to nurture and give his energy to unlike JM. I think it's partly due to the differences in their personality as an introvert and extrovert but also due to the differences in their upbringing and the environment they each grew up in but let's not get into that today. Lol.

Very often when JK is going through a JM withdrawal it hits him the hardest I think. Unlike JM, I don't think he has other emotional support systems in place to fall on? 2018 was it? Remember when he was going through a hard time in that period and he shut out the members but would jump on Social to interact with Army? Why do that if there were people in his life to offer that level of emotional support and fulfillment for him?

Tae is like that too. Remember how he said to JK during their Soop conversation that he was posting much more frequently on Weverse because he wasn't feeling loved and wanted reassurance? Why do that if he had that level of emotional support in his life?

He brought that up because on some level he knew JK could relate among other things. In my opinion.

I mean did you hear Blue and Grey? Yet people swear up and down he is in a relationship with a boy in BTS- must be a very emotionally unfulfilling relationship that doesn't meet his need for reassurance and validation in a romantic relationship. Smirk.

I think JK starts seeking out other connections and tries to nurture them so they provide the emotional connection he needs in periods when he is going through a such hard times without Jimin-but the moment he gets good with JM he's gonna forget those connections ever existed lol.

I think that's what had happened with Tae in On era and the tattoo girl as well... Were they dating? I know they weren't. I know JK wasn't having sex with her simply because she would have screwed him over far worse than she did in the aftermath of the scandal. Lmho.

I mean home girl tried on the whole gender ambiguity look for a hot minute there when she was hanging out with JK but ditched that look real fast the moment she realized JK was never gonna pick her- these pick me gals I swear!

She went from expressing herself as overtly tomboyish to a much rather toned down stereotypically feminine gal in a flash in the aftermath of the scandal? Chileee I'm gonna get in trouble. Lol.

The hair cut, the baggy clothes, the boyish appearance- probably knew JK was attracted to genderly ambiguous people. Cough, cough Jimin and so tried to appear more genderly ambiguous within that period to fit in as a one of the guys? Know what I mean? It's just my opinion and I feel bad for voicing it out loud this way.

She could have been experimenting with her looks and identity and all that jazz- she has every right to present herself whatever way she wants honestly and gender is not defined by the clothes you wear and frankly it's none of my business. Chilee.

It's just crazy to me how she kept saying she didn't want to cause trouble with Army blah blah blah which is why she had chosen to stay quiet about the scandal when it first started but then later she changed her tone and started liking posts and comments that said she and JK were a thing. Smirk.

I mean for someone who had said she didn't want to harm the reputation of JK in the beginning of the scandal and didn't want trouble with Army and so had chosen to stay out of the issue, she sure suddenly had started fanning the flames of the scandal later on and her shop would eventually post a statement about the scandal- on JM's birthday. Coincidence? I think the fuck not.

If you ask me, I think her and the shop knew exactly what they were doing with that one. They both wanted to hurt JK if you ask me. They are Koreans and they know just how much scandals hurt the business and reputations of idols. So for them to keep at it even when that scandal had died down...

And I know some people believe someone from her shop had leaked the photos etc- this is where I insert my BigHit conspiracy theory- BigHit don dunnit! Lol. That scandal came at a time too convenient for a company scared people were going to find out two of its talents were dating. Y'all know my theory on that so I'll just rest it.

This is the same campany that calls paparazzi on its talents and arranges for tabliods to meet and take photos of the boys and write articles about them as and when it so pleases them. I'm not just talking about Dispatch- if you know you know.

I think they have their own people following these boys around just to keep an eye on them to avoid heavy scandals. They definitely knew what JK and JM were up to during their vacation and when they realised there was a much bigger scandal on the way they conducted this tattoo girl and Paris girls scandal to mitigate that.

Listen, BigHit has been through a much severe scandal with their earlier band before BTS. That scandal literally crippled the company- allegedly, had it not been for BTS and so when I tell you they do not joke with scandals involving their artists. You bet your ass they have their eyes on the boys. All the time. They ain't about to let another major scandal cripple their empire.

I mean, even in the recent BE conference they held, they had to film the Q&A session offline- probably didn't want a repeat of the media embarrassing BTS like they did with the plagiarism scandal. Jk's cheeky smirk. Lmho.

Would explain why both the shop and the girl in question also felt used by the company and JK later on. The shop was expecting compensation from BigHit for using them in that way it seemed- read their statement you'll understand what I mean. And the girl perhaps also thought she was gonna get to be with JK as consolation price- yea, no. Sorry dear. JK don'troll like that.

It is why later they tried taking vengeance on both JK and the company with those moves they made. In my opinion. Lol.

From a legal perspective, BigHit had every right to sue the shop for breach of privacy on behalf of JK because the shop owed that duty to JK being their client. They had a duty to protect the privacy of their clients and so it's funny how the shop turned around claiming BigHit was the one that owed them compensation or whatever. Chileee. Messy, messy, messy.

I really don't want to get deep into that whole conversation and so kindly read between the lines... got it? Good. Lol.

Anywho, JK has a tendency to latch on to people when he is in an emotionally vulnerable state. In the group it is often Tae or Jin, Suga or Hobi in my opinion.

Honestly I prefer he does that than shut everyone out.

This tendencies of his is why I keep saying he has the most boundaries in BTS- emotional boundaries I mean. Jimin is a nurturer and to nurture people you have to be willing to be emotionally open, attached and vulnerable with others. Whereas JK is not a nurturer like that so naturally he is much emotionally closed off.

He simply latches on to people when he is going through a tough time or shuts himself up completely for self preservation. In my opinion.

What I am trying to say is, i don't think either of them have both been with other people during times they weren't together because usually they don't stay broken up for that long- long enough for either one of them to form any meaningful attachments outside of eachother.

I can't say same for sex though- shit only takes a few minutes. But judging from the way they behave when either one of them does skinship with even members they consider family, I don't think either one of them have had sex outside of eachother. That would devastate them and lead to much dire repercussions such as each of them developing trust issues and severe insecurities- they are insecure about eachother as it is and they haven't been seeing other people. Chilee.

If JK as much as have sex with another person even if they are broken up Jimin would literally die. I'd laugh but I don't think it's funny.

As for JK... sigh. Let's just say he is going to raise hell on us all if Jimin should do that. Forget the Corona Virus, forget the apocalypse- JK would bring the world to an untimely end. Deadass.

Darknesstival review

There’s not much going on in TD world at the moment, except for merch being sent out. What better way to pass the time than to read about the glorious Darknesstival. I asked a fellow Darkling who attended the bestival of festivals to write a review for all of us to enjoy. Also, to make the less fortunate ones, myself included, go green with envy. 😜 Here it is in all its glory:

The Darkness have created their own festival, called Darknesstival. The 18/12/2016 held the premiere of its kind and it was at the Indigo at the O2, London. Presented as a “fan convention” and teasing that there would be “lots of surprises”, the anticipation was big!

Now that we attended the event: did they reach their goal? A huge YES, it was epic and memorable! There were different types of tickets; this review will concern the “Super VIP” one. Here is the tantalizing program of the event:

The doors opening was planned for noon but I arrived 1h 30mins earlier in order to have time to speak with the fans in the queue and to enjoy the atmosphere of excitement that was floating around. I wanted to meet and discover new people: it’s not every day you can make new friends who are sharing the same passion for the band and coming from all around the world! I met people from all ages (very young to older ones), from very diverse countries (from USA to Asia, and even from my own country France!!), in about same proportions of men and women. I was pleasantly surprised by how The Darkness music truly gathers everyone! One of my most incredible memories of the day was when I could finally meet in real, thanks to this event, a very dear friend with whom I’ve been chatting online for a long time!!

Just after the doors opened, the first thing catching my attention was the merchandising stand on the right. Like the Ali Baba’s cave, there were lots of absofucklinglutely badass new goodies exposed calling me. They were all so beautiful that I couldn’t pick just only one and ended up by buying several.😆 I give an A+ for the merchandising.

Inside, a woman was asking everyone coming in if we wanted to participate in the “be in the band experience”. She explained that we would be filmed, in front of a green background and we would re-create the “Last of Our Kind” video. My gosh, I’m very shy and introverted, just the fact of speaking in public scares me. So I thought that was an utterly brilliant idea but it was definitively not for me. But the woman started to add, “I will also need some air-drummers, to recreate the scene with Dan and Rufus topless”. I don’t know how what happened but I surprised myself screaming, “YES!!!! ME PLEASE!!!” even if my whole body and mind were thinking “no”. 😆 But in the end, I’m very grateful to have done it, everyone makes you at ease and comfortable and guides you through the whole process. It was a fabulous experience, A+++. Can’t wait to discover the final edit.

There were other stands. The first one was for temporary tattoos. There were different types and you had to pick only one. I obviously chose Rufus’s head! It lasted on my skin over one week, so A+++ both for quality and idea. I just regretted that we couldn’t buy some temporary tattoos, I would have loved to bring more of those back home.

A second stand was a table with all the 360 VR headsets with concert sequences. I unfortunately didn’t have time to check (there were too many things to do) but I was told the quality was amazing and that it was from their recent concert in Sweden. I was also told there was a Guitar Hero stand but I also didn’t have time to check! I preferred to have a good spot for the next activity.

They showed on a screen on stage different photos of the band throughout the years and with interesting comments. That was a good idea too, but I didn’t hear the whole because I saw Frankie and then Rufus arriving inside the venue so my attention was focused on them instead of the comments 😆.

After a very-deserved lunch break, it was the quiz time! Dan went onstage at few meters from us and gave the replies to each question. It was again a very interesting and good idea, I loved it.

There was also a stunning exhibition on stage: outfits worn by Justin, the Indian headdress worn by Rufus in the “Last of Our Kind” video, exclusive stunning pro-shots, some awards and diverse other treasures. Woaaah! We had to make a line to be able to go few by few on stage to see them. When I had waited for 10 minutes and arrived in the middle on the line, they called us for the meet-and-greet. I had to leave and miss my turn so I couldn’t see the exhibition, such a pity. But A+++ again for the idea.

I ran to the meet-and-greet place upstairs just after the announcement but when I arrived the security told that they were already full for the first session! The security said it was a bit complicated with the organization and told me to come back for the second session happening in a few hours. I was ok with that, but then they advised me to hurry and arrive way in advance because I was not ensured to be in the 2nd session if there were too many people. I started to get really nervous and anxious about that. But Rufus, who was in the middle of a M&G, saw me in the queue and we had a short interaction (such a magical memory I will cherish forever) so that made me forget everything. I was over the moon, OMG thank you Darknesstival.

After the end of the first M&G session, Justin and Rufus went downstairs to play the final game of the ping-pong competition (the 2 best players teamed together to play against Justin+Rufus team). There were two rounds, here are some videos: Round 1 and Round 2.

That was honestly so funny and hilarious, definitively one of my favorite memories from the event! #ItSlayed Definitively a must-see!! Even though team Justin-Rufus lost, NOOOOOO 😆

Then we could attend the band’s soundcheck. I had already experienced it two times before, but I was still in awe this time as if it was the very first time. They really are incredible musicians and never cease to impress me. We could even hear a new song at the soundcheck!!!!! Priceless feeling. And I can assure you it’s FIYAH y’all, bloody epic! I am craving to hear this atomic bomb again!!!

Then there was the Q&A but I had to go back upstairs for the 2nd M&G, to be in advance exactly as the security had advised me. Such a pity I couldn’t hear it. But thankfully I could still see from the M&G room the short part of the upcoming The Darkness documentary that they aired. OH MY GOD it’s gonna be huge y’all, I need this DVD so badly in my life. Woahou is all I can find to say to describe it.

We were very rushed at the M&G, only few moments with the band to let everyone have a chance to have their time. So I couldn’t talk with everyone and I chose to speak with Rufus longer, obviously (I exchanged few words with Justin, Frankie and Dan). Such a pity, and I felt bad for speaking more with one than the rest of the band. #NotCoolForThem That’s unfortunately how it was with the short time allowed. I still could give them all the gifts I had for them ❤ and many things I had wished could happen. Lifetime memories I will cherish. ❤ Rufus even made me have few more seconds to stay longer and let me finish everything, protecting me against the security woman orders (he’s been once more my hero and an angel).

I don’t remember me leaving the room because of the huge emotions and happiness from the M&G. Darknesstival had promised to make you have the time of your life and it truly did, my M&G was better than a fairytale. OMG, thank you The Darkness and especially Rufus!!! ❤ My brain had like “crashed” or “blacked out” or whatever you call it after my M&G. The first thing I remember is someone calling me by my name. My brain started to work again: I realized I was in my bestie’s arms, crying (of happiness) and shaking like a leaf. I turned round to see who had called me and….. it was Justin!!!!!! He had left the next M&G to run after me and give me back my Drumhead magazine (I had asked Rufus if he could sign it, then I had probably put it on a table for my hug and as it left me brainless because of the emotion, it seems I had forgotten it/to take it back)!!!!! OMG, Justin is not only one of the most talented singers in the world but also one of the kindest and mot genuine sweetheart ever #Hero. He truly cares for his fans. I was so shocked from his adorable gesture that I don’t even remember what I told him.

I went back downstairs to the room of the show. It was packed. We were supposed to have first rows with the Super VIP tickets but, with everyone already in, they of course refused to let me reach the first row of the pit. I ended in third row. No regrets about that because I’ve already been in the first row. (That is a point to maybe change for the next event. For example: for another artist I follow AL, they put special barriers to reserve the places in the first rows for all the people having a VIP ticket.) The show was bloody epic!!! The atmosphere was electric and everyone was captivated. The band truly had the audience in their palm in a few minutes, everyone clapping, dancing and singing with energy. And, as I’m a very exigent person on the music quality in live, I can assure you The Darkness are real musicians with mad talents (a quality that is unfortunately disappearing nowadays in the music industry). And a special mention for the playing of Rufus, which is mesmerizing: at the same time so fast, so powerful and so fluid. Absolutely beautiful to watch. But what struck me the most was the joy and the passion on each member’s face: they seemed to be truly having a time of their life too. They performed an interesting and diverse setlist, with a very clever song choice: some rare songs, some big hits and again the very new one!!! I wanna give also a special shout out to Justin for speaking in my language (French) a couple of times and also to their memorable Xmas outfits at the end (Dan the snowman, Frankie the turkey, Justin the Santa and Rufus the giant Xmas dick). Haha, life can never be boring with The Darkness as idols.

After the show, I went back upstairs with all my friends to share drinks in the M&G room, with stars in my eyes and buzzing/over the moon. The band was also there!!! I didn’t want to annoy them because to me they would be probably tired after this incredible show. I just asked for individual photos with each member, but didn’t want to stay to speak much (last thing on Earth I want would be to bother them). Rufus was again an absolute angel and I helped Justin a tiny bit with French. It was such a surreal experience to be in the same room as them going all around with their drinks! I had to pinch myself once or twice to see if it was really real. I also could meet again someone of the crew who is very nice and we chatted a bit. It truly gave me the impression of being in the middle of a family, my The Darkness family.

I am very thankful for this event, it was beyond all expectations. Lifetime memories for sure. Such incredible moments happened, with amazing friends for an incredible concert. When is the next one? Gimme a D, gimme an Arkness, and long may these Rockgods reign!
