That Roman Dress

I ended up liking precisely 2 characters from “Dr Who”.

One of them was doomed from the start, and the other seemed on the way to being written out from the moment she joined the main cast. Judging by the inevitable spoilers for s14, it’s probably not going to get much better.

Nevertheless, the purple dress from “The Fire of Pompeii” was gorgeous. For once, the Internet informs me a lot of people agree with me on this, but I still wanted to try my hand in making a replica an approximation for my collection.

The doll (which I bought solely because she was on huge sale and you can never have too many ball-jointed bodies lying around) turned out to be unexpectedly cute, and I’ve dressed way too many red-heads recently, so I’ve decided to leave her original appearance intact.

Also, yes, I know Pompeii was not in a desert, but where else was I supposed to get orange background without setting things on fire? :-P

caterina's datamined character description calling her korean-italian and early lucanis designs having him look east asian . i'll just do everything myself i guess

assorted thoughts: caterina is fully 'korean' or whatever the thedas equivalent would be in this design, and clawed her way to the top of the crow food chain after years of work. their armor is something caterina forcibly incorporated to distinguish house dellamorte from the other crows, and a symbol of their status because they get it custom made or imported. of course race-equivalents do not really exist in thedas or this world but i also will never forget how gaider just implied (east) asian people don't exist in thedas because it just so happens that there are no asians on the continent of thedas (guy who forgot about boats) . explode and die. there's not the same kind of discrimination as exists irl ofc (and the dellamortes are actually treated fine, much better than a mage or elf) but a level of xenophobia against foreigners from a different continent. illario looks the least like her, and passes for being fully antivan, which changes how he is recieved by the other crows.

I’m so tired of them talking about the way Seth dresses. We get it. Seth actually puts thought into how he looks and you “big manly men” think this is inferior because it’s a “feminine” trait and if you could get away with saying a slur on live TV, you would call Seth a slur but you can’t, so you jump around it by calling him everything else. You don’t like it because it makes you uncomfortable with how comfortable Seth is, and you’re probably a little jealous of how comfortable Seth is in his skin and how good he looks. We get it, now insult Seth in some other way please.
