Explanations for anyone curious:

Wyrm Hollow -> Wyrm, like the old word for Worm, and Hollow because the city is situated in a large hollow in the ground (You have to walk down these long ass bridges to actually get into the city, it's very fun)

Fenmire -> Fen (Large swath of land that floods yearly) + Mire (Swamp or marshland) because they are. In a swamp! Could've done something more creative probably but I like the sound of Fenmire

Concavea -> mix of concave and cavea, concave because of the massive canyons completely encircling the city, and cavea because the city itself is situated in the ribcage of a first God (latin name of a ribcage is a cavea thoracis)

Edit: it is also a pun on the continent name, yes

Cephala Reef -> Cephala as a shortened term for cephalapod, because. Kallamar is a squid. And reef because reefs are oceanic life goldmines irl, and I think that's a fun thing to call settlements in Anchordeep. This one's kinda like how New York City has city on the end. Except here it's got reef.

Arachnida -> One of the scientific genus for spiders. Thought it'd be funny and literally nothing else

Hello hello I'm thinking about @triple-starsss Band AU again but this time I'm gonna rant about my 2 AM thoughts cause I can't sleep and I dont wanna bother anyone rn jshsj, sorry people you gotta deal with my brainrot now :3

Under the cut- Crow rants about Nova, Surge and Kit's band from their Project Starkiller AU if they were in this T.S AU.

Please keep in mind this is a big ol ✨ What If ✨ scenario, I'm just airing out my festering thoughts

The au in general is very fun and I love it very much. I wanna take the whole AU, put it in a jar and shake it around /aff

Now, as far as I'm aware Vix (the AU's creator) said surge and kit won't be prominent in the au to not give T.S too many rivals (understandable) upon reading this I thought "kinda funny that in my AU they already have a little band with Nova.. waitaminute-

SO since this au is kinda more realistic, Surge and Kit are not lab experiments, just two orphans with way too much emotional turmoil and inner resentment, y'know, for the plot /j. Same thing for Nova except she's not an orphan, she's a home runaway (for context, Nova the Cat is from my AU, Project Starkiller, she's an escapee from a lab in another dimension) Thanks to their similarities, being alone and angry at the world, the trio gets along and ends up sticking together.

Personally I'd have Surge aged up so she's old enough to keep a job and a small apartment so they're not. Y'know. On the streets. Surge is doing her best to provide for them, but it's hard. Nova would be the one to convince them to try starting a "band," not really expecting it to go anywhere, she already brought her guitar with her when she ran away from home anyway so, hey, why not give it a try? Surge agrees because she just wants to yell a lot, and Kit agrees because Surge agrees.

I think it'd be good for them all as a coping mechanism, Kit gets to hit stuff, Surge, of course, gets to yell, and Nova's already doing the one thing she enjoys.

Now, at first they are!! Not good!! At all!! They have very cheap equipment and Surge & Kit are newbies, Nova is an okayish teacher but she's also!! A child!! A child prodigy, sure, but a child nonetheless. As they get better they start posting their songs and covers on.. whatever the Mobius version of YouTube is. Some people like their stuff, and thus starts their lil' YouTube career /hj

Edit: I should probably mention that they aren't rivals of the triple stars band or Metallic Madness- Nova is inspired by them both, Surge kinda hates them both for. Some reason. (Bad vibes ig) And Kit is kinda indifferent

Stars (pun not intended) I hope this made at least a little bit of sense. Iii'm gonna stop ranting now cause it's 3 AM and I need sleep. I'm gonna find this in the morning and probably regret posting it, but for now I am shameless. Hope y'all don't mind this long rant, gotta get my thoughts out somewhere.

Kalevala Knights Band AU

Further lore, HCs & ideas about the band + more fun info about their socials that I posted earlier

I like to imagine that they like to sing about their everyday life with Finnish folklore and myths woven into their songs. They're proud of that heritage and love to integrate it whenever possible and fitting. They all have a set of personalized outfits onstage (all wearing sleeveless jackets) and depending on the album/themes, they switch it up with colors and accessories.

Handle & description: I went for the most basic handle :P The description is something Ilmo came up with, especially the heavy use of emojis 😎

Socials: They mainly follow family, friends, partners and brands/venues they collabed with. There's of course album promo's, photoshoots, shots and vids of their concerts on there (and the occasional fanservice) Ilmo and Ilmari are the most active members on their band account but for some more serious stuff, they often let the others handle it.

Ilmo is the lead singer <3 he wears some piercings and is inseparable from his trucker caps that are customized for each new album. He is funny, charming and can quickly sway a crowd

Handle & description: I thought it'd be a fun play on the word/spelling Coffee with two K's signaling the initials of the band. Ilmo is an emoji man. That slogan is ofc a nod to what he says in the profiling scenes in canon

Socials: He often follows people back, follows lots of brands, other musicians and artists. You can find almost anything on his profile, band BTS, gigs, silly vids, photoshoots, slice of life pics. He likes to use emojis a lot when texting and commenting. He broadcasts a lot of his life and often does live streams, especially while touring.

Jaakko is the drummer of the band. Just because he's always in the back, doesn't mean he doesn't share the energy of his band mates. Quite the contrary, he's the literal heartbeat of the Kalevala Knights.

Handle & description: I like puns and homophones. It just fits that beer and beard are 2 significant Jaakko traits. And like his canon counterpart, he's a proud dad 😎🙌 He's not a man of many words

Socials: He is a more reserved person and doesn't post often. On his socials you will find pics of nature, his bike, beer and the somewhat mandatory band stuff. Similar to how I'd HC normal jaakko's socials, I think he'd also like to post about his children but as a celeb, he'd try to keep the kids out of that life as much as possible

Ilmari is the lead guitarist of the band. He's extraverted, likes the attention and has a similar charisma like Ilmo but with more edge

Handle & description: Ilmari seemed to be the kinda guy to use a different font (It's the official KK font btw 😏) & use an edgy, cool name like that

Socials: He kinda has an ego so expect a lot of selfies and thirst traps from him. Professional photoshoots & casual stuff all mixed together and you get some insight into his bombastic life. He captions stuff with innuendos and enjoys using the smug emojis.

Jaakoppi is a multi talented musican but usally occupies the role of bassist. However, for some songs, he'll play the violin or cello. (I think most of them might play more than 1 instrument)

Handle & description: He's a no nonesense guy and pretty straight to the point with that. The 70 in his handle refers to his birth year 😳

Socials: Similar to Jaakko, he doesn't post that much. He likes to take pics of his food, travels with his bandmates and friends and occasionally posts vids or pics of woodchopping. Initially, he's unaware about the fans' thirst lmao which leads to some silly situations. He is probably the one who takes the main group selfies becos he's so lanky compared to the others.

CultCase continues to go strong in this AU. Casey is the president of Ilmo's main fan club and he eventually hooks up with Ilmo. Initially, I thought maybe he's a journalist or something but I haven't fully pinpointed what his profession or his non-romantic relation is to the band. He owns a lot of Kalevala Knights merch: all albums, lots of shirts and tops, multiple signed posters, etc. you know, like a Big Fan

Handle & description: Casey's handle is a play and reference to Ilmo's handle of course. The Nr1 Fan is a little wink to Rose being Alan's Nr 1 fan 😉

Socials: He mainly reposts or posts new Ilmo & KK content. Sometimes he will fan blog and capture his life as a fan and the times he's met the band. He likes to boast by posting very close selfies with the frontman of KK.

Kesä lives in Watery/Huotari and basically grew up with the Koskelas and Huotaris. He's a writer and feels proud of his little town which he enjoys capturing through his lens. Ahti remains a good friend to Kesä and they often go to the sauna and/or enjoy some beers together.

Handle & description: Pretty straightforward. But there have been more than one occasion people thought he was Casey's brother (lmao, ngl the co-existence of these two is so funny) but he is not.

Socials: He doesn't post much and it's mainly an account for friends and family and Ilmari (you won't escape my OTPs in this AU). He mainly posts about Watery and his writing shenanigans. Of course, you'll see some pics of Ahti and Ilmari on his profile too

S-Tier, AKA the Legitimately Good Tier:

HAWKEYE: Maybe my favorite MCU thing I have ever watched.

+ If you let Jeremy Renner actually act and give him a script, he's fucking great. + Kate Bishop is a perfect mess and I love her, I love she's young and excitable but also takes things seriously, she feels like she's a work in progress, I love her. + MAYA. Holy shit the gravity well of this character, how her presence dictates any scene she is in. Truly stellar. + This entire miniseries is like an extended apology for Hawkeye in every other appearance. "Sorry we dropped the ball with this character so consistently, we will bring the A game here." + The importance of disability. I'm among the ppl who was upset that Hawkeye's disability was dropped, so the way it is centered over and over and over in this, how its practical, how it's funny, how it's sad, how it gives us the most devastatingly emotional scene in all of the MCU yes I am talking about the phone call scene, finally. Fucking finally. + Florence fucking Pugh and her entire charm offensive. + The car chase scene.

- The first episode is unfortunately REALLY slow. - Nah that's all I got. I love this one.

THOR: RAGNAROK

+ "Asgard isn't a place, it's a people" is maybe the most poignant message any MCU film has ever managed. + Literally the funniest movie, but also basically a repair job of character building for everyone in it. + The camerawork in this one makes me so happy. + Tom Hiddleston is given so much to do and he's there with heels on, spectacular. + The giant turret/pegging visual pun, god bless. + Cate Blanchett can kill me.

- uuuuuuuuh. It's not as good as Hawkeye. Yeah.

GOTG Vol 2

+ Sorry but I am a GOTG Truther, I really do think its the one storyline in the MCU that is allowed to get away with really fucking intense character drama because it's not considered "main line." There is a reason ppl rioted when they tried to remove Gunn, and I'm with them. + The only good thing Chris Pratt has done since Parks and Rec. + The way this storyline centers on death and grief is devastating. + Rocket Racoon is the best character in the MCU and we all know it.

- I think the initial treatment of Mantis is REALLY rough even though in the end I think it works, but that's a hell of a hump to get over.

A-TIER, AKA the Great for a MCU Flick Tier:

BLACK PANTHER

+ My biggest problem with the MCU is the creative desert of its set and costume design, the way it feels like nothing is given time to breathe in the creative process. BP is the antithesis of that. I would watch a four hour documentary just on the visual design of this movie, from the architecture to the costumes to the make-up, everything. I don't want to hear from the director or writers, I want to hear four hours of just the craftspeople talking about their work. It's monumental. + Best Villain in the MCU, bar none. + Only MCU film to move me to actual tears in the movie theatre.

- I loved this movie! For the life of me I could not tell you the plot. I understand the plot of every Mission Impossible film but I don't know the plot of this movie. - If this movie was allowed to cut, like, 20 minutes of action and replace it with more character drama, it'd be the best MCU film.

IRON MAN 3

+ The MCU Movie That Pulls Exactly Zero Punches About Being About Mental Health And PTSD Holy Shit + Rhodey and Pepper get so much to do and I like an ensemble piece so much + Shane Black is in love with RDJ and I'm so happy for him + Pepper gets to be a lil monsterfied and that's hot

- Doesn't have Sam Rockwell. - The plot is kinda fully secondary to the character work, which imo is fine, but yanno.

GOTG Vol 1

+ All the stuff I said about GOTG Vol 1

- It's not Vol 2, which benefits from having all the bedrock foundation built by this movie to spring from.

B-TIER, AKA It's Fine I Guess:

IRON MAN 1

It's good! It invented the wheel! Part of it are fucking agonizingly painful to watch in 2023 but it also has more heart than 80% of the franchise so.

IN A CAVE. WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS.

LOKI

Okay it feels shitty of me to judge this one on its technical faults bc apparently it was shot during the pandemic and that causes a lot of the issues with the camerawork, the awkward editing, and just how Weird everything was put together. But also it's REALLY stilted and awkward, which butts up against the good script and the better acting, so IDK man.

Owen Wilson is amazing. Even my mother thought the way they canonized Loki being bi was a cop-out. And the final twist pissed me off. I hope Season 2 is better.

THOR 1

I DUNNO WHAT TO TELL YOU, BUT KENNETH BRANAGH UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT.

DR STRANGE AND THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS

This movie is a mess but once i figured out it was trying to be The MCU Does Gothic Horror, I was a lot more on board. It has all the flaws of the original Dr Strange and is hard to visually follow like most MCU films, but also has America Chavez, who I adore.

IRON MAN 2

It has Sam Rockwell, I don't give a fuck.

C-TIER, AKA I wish I cared but I do not 8C

DR STRANGE

I dunno I like the actual character of Strange weirdly, I like what a complete fucking asshole he is, I like his god complex and how he reacts to his disability as a surgeon. On the other hand what the fuck is Tilda Swinton doing here, this is just awful. My biggest issue with this film is that it didn't have to be this terrible but every decision made about it feels so fucking thoughtless and myopic.

WANDAVISION

yanno. i cannot even explain why i fell off this so hard. Like, this one Had Me all the way up to and including the Agatha reveal, but like the final episodes after that reveal somehow left me completely cold and uncaring. it's genuinely weird.

D-TIER, AKA Oh my god no thank you

AVENGERS

I hate the writing. Like, I haaaaate the writing. I feel like the only likeable relationship in this is Tony and Bruce, and that does not carry this movie. The quip-driven writing, the way the need for a joke supercedes naturalistic voices and dialogue making sense, it pisses me off. I hate the writing. Heartless movie.

BLACK WIDOW

oh my god i'm actively angry at this movie okay because for the first 20 minutes, I was like "wait, is this going to be a real movie," because it felt smaller, the action felt more realistic, that fight between the Widow and Yelena in the beginning felt like it could have been out of MI: Fallout, and the other fight between Natasha and Yelena in the safehouse was also good, I really thought for a few moments that this could be Good

and then it just took a hard right into The MCU Tries And Fails To Make MI: Fallout (They Even Stole The Mask Gag, What The Fuck Was That) and not only was I disappointed, I was like retroactively pissed for the 20 minutes when I had hope in my heart. If not for David Harbour's character, I would have just left in the middle of this movie.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME

Its not at bad as Infinity War! Nebula and Rocket carried this movie on their fucking backs. But what do I know, I liked Renner's mohawk of sadness.

F-Tier, AKA Fuck This Movie

INFINITY WAR

Fuck this movie with a rusted steel dildo, fuck this entire fucking movie, I despise it. The writing is so actively fucking terrible I want to fistfight whoever is responsible. I fucking hate the attempts to humanize Thanos over how sad he is about the daughter he abused and then murdered, boo fucking hoo, I hate the joylessness of the superhero combinations, I hate the quip-driven writing, I hate this movie with a burning passion. This might be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Soulless and destitute.

Cal Lucia plays Fire Emblem Path of Radiance: Chapter 28

Time to rescue Leanne, then! And hey, Tibarn's coming along. That's neat. (Also the points here might be kinda out of order since I'm writing down my reactions from memory)

Base conversation between Tanith, Marcia and Elincia. . . wait, do those three have a triangle attack? It'd fit, since those three are my three pegasus knights (or something similar in Elincia's case), but. . . uh, not sure.

Izuka. That man. . . sure seems like the most guy ever. Also not very nice to birds, I assume*. (*This double meaning pun was lost in the translation from German to English.)

Ah. I mean, all the enemy laguz we were fighting had to come from somewhere, but. . . oof.

This generic enemy soldier is. . . talking kinda weird. Dunno what to make of that.

So, in terms of gameplay - Nephenee is once again tearing stuff up, especially since I gave her a super forged Silver Lance. But I think even without that, she'd be a borderline killing machine on here.

I keep forgetting that I can give Tibarn orders, and just let him stand around doing nothing. Urgh. . . but I also don't really need him, so. . . eh.

. . .Oh! That generic soldier was Naesala? How did he keep his wings hidden? . . .Probably best not to question it. Regardless, it's a nice little touch that he's actually rescuing Leanne in terms of gameplay as well to take her away from the map.

Fun thing about Leanne in this chapter though is that my friend translated for me that she spotted Tibarn "and some others". I know that in terms of development it wouldn't make much sense to add anything just in case Reyson is deployed, but it was still kinda funny that I had him there, and she didn't really take note of him. Just Tibarn.

So the boss of this map isn't actually Izuka. I kinda wanna go "I guess this means I'll see him more in Radiant Dawn", but the friend I was streaming for already confirmed to me that this was just setup. Felt kinda weird like this, though.

The basement. . . you really can do a lot by not actually showing what's there, and just having the characters react to it. That alone can go a long way.

And then, at the end of the chapter, generic soldiers feeling a bit disappointed that the war is almost over. . . well, good thing for you then that there's another one coming in a few years!!

Takeshi Nakagawa

Hey fellas back at it again with the OCs. Like before I'm gonna ramble about the name and why I chose it, show some art I drew, and then go on and on and on under a read more. If you're confused about what I'm on about, my OC tag is "#ced ocs" so look there for more on my other OCs!!!

So this guy is Takeshi (武) Nakagawa (中川). Originally I was thinking of naming him Shiro as that means fourth son, but since "shi" or the part that means "four" in this case sounds like "death" the name could kinda sound like "son of death" but ALSO "Shiro" is like white. And it's like a fun high level pun. But I scrapped the idea because 1) I do not have an understanding of Japanese to let me know if I'm an idiot or not for thinking of this and 2) Shiro is the name of a kid from Morning Glory and I didn't want to have doubles from the canon series.

So, I just went through lists of names till I found a name and meaning I enjoyed that sounded good in my head (while also keeping that "shi" sound!). It wasn't until later I learned there are characters in the Yakuza/Like A Dragon series who have that name but I already grew attached + those characters go by their last names so I feel I'm in the clear.

And for Nakagawa, I just thought it'd be funny to use a last name with the 川 character because he is born and raised in Sotenbori. Because haha river. Yeah. Uh. That's the big reasoning.

Of the story I've written for my OCs, this guy is the main character. All of my OCs stemmed from the Cedric Miyazakis, and, well, when creating him I was really just like "haha what if Ceddy had a scary boyfriend" so I thought up an assassin-type character. And that guy became Takeshi. And he took over the whole narrative because he was pretty much the most active guy. And, of course, to become boyfriend material he must go through some shit and go through a sort of redemption arc!

To become protagonist material, Takeshi did go through a lot of growth from just "scary assassin boyfriend bait" lmao. First of all, since this story is meant to be somewhat like Judgment or Kurohyou. It takes place in the Yakuza/Like A Dragon world, has similar themes and vibes, and the characters don't interact with those in the main series (at least, not in any meaningful way). What this also means, is I want Takeshi to sort of fit the vibe of an RGG protagonist. He needs to have the whimsy to do substories, for one. He also has to respect women & be generally tolerant in a sort of way. And also he has to avoid killing people no matter what. Funny restriction to have on a character I meant to be an assassin but hey! I can work with it.

So, taking the base of "queer assassin guy" guy and infusing him with Essence of RGG Protag I ended up with. Well. A very traumatized young man.

Takeshi Nakagawa was raised from a young age to do one thing, become an assassin. His father figure, Kuro Nishimura, took him in as his own after Takeshi's biological father died on the job. Takeshi idolized the Yakuza as his father was one himself. Nishimura, being his old Patriarch, felt he owed it to Takeshi to try to raise him up right as best he can. Of course, with a father like that, it's impossible to avoid falling into the criminal underworld. Not that Takeshi ever actually tried to avoid it. In fact, he actively worked toward it. And at the age of 23, Nishimura finally gave him his first real job. A hit on a rival clan's patriarch, Cedric Miyazaki.

Now those from the last post know exactly why Miyazaki & Ceddy share a name, Takeshi was sent to kill Miyazaki, ends up finding Ceddy instead. And he doesn't look at him like "I've definitely got the wrong guy" because who in their right mind would genuinely believe there's TWO Cedric Miyazakis? Maybe someone a lot smarter than Takeshi, perhaps, but this man isn't very smart. He's trained in killing not thinking.

In continuance with Yakuza/Like A Dragon's overarching theme of Found Family, Takeshi's story also covers a bunch of family dynamics. He's got family dynamics unique to himself yet eerily similar to his deuteragonist/love interest. Raised by criminals, how fun! Takeshi's idea of family is consistently poked and prodded at, and we'll get to watch as he gets to know a different dynamic and deconstructs his own.

Along with exploring Family Identity, Takeshi explores his own Queer Identity, as well. Albeit in a minute sort of way. Takeshi begins his story fully believing he's straight, but later he falls in love with a man. He doesn't really push back on this idea, just corrects his identity to mean he's Bisexual. Perhaps we'll meet a character that helps keep him open minded...? (The answer is yes, her name is Asami Iwasaki. She will be expanded upon in a later post but she'll have to wait her turn). Anyway, overall, Takeshi is one of the simplest characters when it could to his sexual identity, second only to the straight characters, as he puts very little thought or care into it. He fell in love with another man? So be it. (Good for him, good for him)

There's nothing I hate more than a poorly done romance subplot. So I put a lot of thought into Takeshi's dynamic with Ceddy. All relationships will be further expanded upon in the future when I talk about the relationship chart. For now, though, I'll talk a bit about them two now since it's an important part of their story.

First off, they love each other. Really and truly. That's the most important part. Even if you missed any romantic undertones (or overtones lol) I'd want the audience to look at them and be like "these two truly love each other." And that bit is something I see missing from a lot of romance. And in a similar vein, they are definitely friends, best friends even. These are people who actively *want* to spend time together.

To get into some specifics, remember in my previous post I mentioned Ceddy is autistic (undiagnosed) and he has no friends because of it. Now there's Takeshi, who has almost no friends due to his lifelong obsession with the Yakuza (creepy!) and his general asshole way of speaking. These personalities generally create conflict with whoever they try to speak with but anything "wrong" with their speech just rolls off of them. Ceddy's blunt way of speaking tends to unintentionally cause insult, but Takeshi can take insults thrown his way as long as they're just the truth (plus Ceddy speaks in such a cheerful way he doesn't even clock them as insulting most of the time because Ceddy's just too damn friendly!). Takeshi just has an overall rude manner of speaking that people are uncomfortable with but Ceddy was raised by criminals, he's more than used to it, it feels like home. Just being able to communicate easily is a big way they're able to grow so close.

Hmmm... I won't talk about specifics of the story unless people are interested, but I will say that Takeshi is dumb in a fun way. He has to think and plan things, and he'll come up with ways to brute force things rather than truly strategize. No men allowed? Well, then he'll simply pretend to be a woman (poorly)

I feel a little dumbassery is necessary.

CAM IN ZANTA CLAWS—LETS GO!!

Got an idea about Cams response to Zanta calling him out from an idea @crossover-enthusiast had a while ago!

Sooo I am unsure of what Cam would be doing at the beginning of this episode—either just calmly helping Tom try to shoot Santa Claus, or walking back with Edd to the house since he likely went to just help Edd to help with the groceries and shit, though I think in general it'd fit if he were inside with the others. If he were outside with Tom, he'd probably just calmly greet Edd but do nothing else except sit on the roof with a pistol pointed in the air and pointing out when he spots 'Santa'—only for Tom to suddenly yell at Edd to get inside, leaving Tom and Cam on the roof to get plummeted. Or if he were just walking back with Edd, he probably wouldn't have much lines except for just going '..sick' when hearing what Tom's doing. But either way if he just goes inside with the others, he probably remarks, "..heh.. were you having a 'blast' up there, man?" because haha funny pun.

He ends up going to look with the others in the next scene at Zanta, who just landed at a nearby house. And as always, he appears to be the only one who's kind of unphased by all of this. And he also slowly rises from the bottom of the window, only for Tom to land on him when he realizes he's hanging from off the roof of the house. Either way, Cam rises up again when it cuts back to them and agrees with Edd only to also be confused when the others are visibly frightened, or he's still beneath Tom and he says something muffled.

In the next scene when Zanta goes to confront them, Cam is quiet once again (i can also see him being mildly amazed by Zantas appearance or his whole eating kids thing somehow—which possibly earns worried looks from the others)—and when Zanta starts listing all the ways they've been bad this year, he points to Cam after Tom and says that Cam helped Matt steal Christmas Cards meant for the military just so they could use them for something else or that Cam helped Tord take over the world almost before being stopped (foreshadowiiiiing) or he possibly just lists several harmful ways Cam has helped his friends. And after calling out Edd, the cola truck suddenly starts passing by with Cam not vanishing alongside Matt or just vanishing with the others. Doesn't matter either way lol.

Cam gets onto the truck with the others—and just kinda calmly watches as Edd kinda murders the sentient cola can that appears by drinking it. But then Zanta shows up to confront them, almost kills them while being hit in the head several times, Santa shows up, Yada Yada Yada. Cam doesn't really do much for this scene once again.

Santa, after saving them though, takes them all back to their houses and gives them gifts. He ends up giving Cam an absurdly large bottle of strawberry milk, which Cam visibly appreciates. Though when Tom tries to shoot at Santa, Cam tries to stop him along with the others, but then he goes 'Wait, wait.. Tom.. let me handle this' with a smile before suddenly just grabbing the gun and shooting Santa himself as the others try stop him. Or he just steals the gun from Tom and decides to shoot Santa himself. Or he just tries stopping Cam along with the others since that's what they're doing. Or he just stands there jdnsnsn.

One thing to suggest be put on there if you want to add anything is Twilight in Manchego. I just found it today. Idk if you've already discovered it, but in case you haven't it's something he did in 2008 I believe. If you Google it, it should pop up. So happy to answer!! I found most of this just by watching interviews, he's mentioned a lot of the stuff he's done offhandedly, not all of it of course. Others I found just by googling around, theres this site that has extended credits which is helpful. But really a lot of this isn't too difficult to find, I have "I must know everything about this topic" hyperfixations if that gives any more context.

And I'll say right off the bat that I found out about Twilight in Manchego like a few days after I made the ice berg, so I'd definitely put it on there now. Another thing I'd probably add now would be the reading he did for Book of Mormon.

- For both Everything is Fine and Slow Children, I only know what Alex has said in interviews. I don't have specific links, nor the time to rewatch a bunch of stuff right now, but I believe he talks about both of them briefly in this podcast with Drew if I'm remembering correctly. I've run into a problem...

06 sucks!

Like we knew that, but writing wise, 06 is such a mess, and I don't- I don't know what to do about it, I have fanfic ideas that take place in 06! And it's such a mess that I feel like it'll tank the quality of my fanfic just from its garbage-ness!

And you might be thinking, oh, but 06 isn't that bad, you said yourself, it's one of your favorite games of all time, and other people deal with it just fine so–

No, you don't get it, it is that bad. And you can tell because almost nothing from that game made it out alive. Like, conceptually, there's some really cool stuff in 06. Crisis City's unique environment, Mephiles as a villain, double chaos control time powers (well...), Iblis, Soleanna. All that stuff is good, but because it was in 06. 06's garbage kinda rubbed off on it, and when everyone realized the game was horrible (including SEGA) all that stuff was never attempted again. No one decided to try and make Mephiles work in new games, no mention of Crisis City, or Solanna, or anything. It all just died with the game. Which makes it all the more impressive that Silver made it out alive.

But that's not the point. We all know it's bad.

The point is that idk where to go from here? Do I keep it the way it is? Do I change it? I'm leaning towards change but what should I change? Would people like those changes?

For example, Blaze is a mess. She's "got amnesia" or whatever, and she's here, but she doesn't talk to anyone but Silver (she almost does when she says "blue hedgehog" but that barely makes any sense and it wouldn't surprise me if it was secretly a pun lost in translation), she always seems to know what Silver was up to even if she wasn't there, she doesn't affect the plot other than making Silver doubt his judgement and then leaving, it's-, it's just a mess.

So, what if we cut Blaze out, altogether? Like, she left before Silver runs into Memphis so Silver's on his own. And since silver can't rely on her to tell him whether or not to trust Mephiles, it makes it so Silver believing him shows it off as a character trait of Silver's desperate naivety instead of it feeling like Blaze sitting there watching him get tricked cuz "it'd be funny". That whole scene really feels like Silver and Blaze get tricked by Mephiles because the plot demanded it of them more than anything else.

Plus, if you don't have Blaze here, Silver's heroes journey can be, in part, trying to figure out what to do when no one's around. Lean on other people less, make his own choices. You wouldn't even really need to cut Blaze's dialogue because Silver would be thinking "what would Blaze do/say?"

And I think it'd add to their friendship, the idea that when he comes back to the future and says he knows how to defeat Iblis, she just goes along with it, and is willing to do anything for Silver because they have such a strong relationship, because she trusts him.

But would people like that retcon? What if people hate it cuz there's less Blaze content?

Idk. It's just something I've been thinking about, there's more things I'd like to change, but luckily, a lot of 06 can be improved by adding extra context, or slightly different introductions that barely change the story.

I shared here a few times that my son wanted to live as a girl for a while, and how transition was as easy as getting him dresses and calling him a different name because he was so young. One of those posts got pretty popular.

A few days ago, he brought it up, and it felt like he was testing things to see if we'd still be supportive. He explicitly doesn't identify as trans, so I'm using he/him unless he tells me otherwise. It was a calm and exploratory conversation, not very in depth.

When I told him we'd support him regardless and he has time to figure it out, his sister chimed in with "Like me! I'm a lesbian, but I'm small and I have time! I get to pick the words that fit!" which is repeating what I said to her after other adults said she's too young to decide she's gay. I told her that some people know at her age, others only figure it out older, others think they're one thing and find out they're another. She has time and only she knows what words describe her experience the best. And I feel like she really took it to heart.

My daughter was always kinda stubborn and loud about what she wants, and I always liked that (even though it made parenting difficult sometimes lol) and hoped it would help her stand up for herself as she grows up. I feel like I was right about it.

I think it'd be really funny if my children both turn out to be queer. But even if they grow up and tell me they were just exploring and they're not, I feel like there's a lot of value in the fact that they're comfortable questioning and expressing themselves.

When she told us she's a lesbian, he made a pun about how he'd be proud to have a lesbian sister. When he questioned if he's cis, she reinforced that he has time, just like her. I feel like this openness doesn't just teach them that we, as their parents, will always accept who they are. It teaches them to give the same thing to each other.

OKAY, I'm gonna try explaining the song I mentioned in this post actually, bc even tho the music video itself has translated lyrics- I actually used the ones in this instead since it makes more sense imo

VERY long ramble below, also contains some spoilers with Fon//taine's AQ Act 1 be warned LOL

There's like... a very vivid animatic(?) in my head for this so I'm gonna explain the scenes I imagine alongside each lyric

Two hours after the arranged time of our rendezvous, / I was still waiting alone. So that must be your answer. / The passers-by on the street and the floating clouds were laughing at my stupidity.

I like thinking that Lyney probably invited Moira (S/I name) to one of his magic shows (as a way of wanting to get more closer than friends + impress her). He even got her a ticket and reserved a seat.

But once the show was about to start/started, when he looks into the crowd- he doesn't find her there. Which makes him think that maybe that was her answer to his invitation.

Although the crowd were cheering + laughing (/pos) at his performance, deep down it felt like he was making a fool (hah, fatui pun) of himself.

It's so easy, and yet so difficult, / for I can move on as soon as I accept reality. / Unable to believe it, not wanting to believe it / I must be a clown inside your mind, aren't I?

After the show, he's reflecting on his feelings. Although he's aware of the situation he's in- being in love with Moira but not seeing her reciprocate it, he knows it'd be best to just let it go. But he doesn't want to.

The last line is very self-explanatory and I mentioned it just prior. Very funny because he's a magician/performer and also part of the fatui.

The lyrics kinda show how Lyney feels, being in love with Moira and all. He's kinda in a loop in trying to get close to her, only to be met with friendliness and his flirting attempts not being noticed. (She's oblivious, dear god save this girl)

In this scene though, Lyney is walking home with Lynette after their show. He's feeling rather dejected since his crush didn't show up, but little does he know it's not for the reasons he thinks it is.

Soon enough, Moira actually follows him in the streets, calling out his name as well. Once she catches up to him, she tells him that she's super sorry that she missed his show- mainly bc she was busy with work.

She asks him if she could treat him (and Lynette) to a meal (specifically dinner since I imagine this time to be set at night now) to make up for it, to which they agree bc she insisted anyway even if they declined.

Yes, this is the sad end of my fate. / I am still unable to reach you.

During the meal, Lyney is kinda glad that Moira was kind enough to treat them to a meal. He'd lowkey consider it a date if Lynette wasn't with them. But then again, Moira only invited them bc she wanted to make up to not making it to their show (not bc she reciprocated his feelings). Which... yeah.

Poor, poor Lyney. So close yet so far.

The Earth, carrying me, spins. / With an unconcerned expression, it spins.

The world turns, time goes on, yet- it feels like he's stuck in one place constantly. (Being in love with Moira but they only stay as friends no matter how hard he tries).

For just one second, I hold my breath, / and, unable to say anything, I stand still dumbfounded.

There's sometimes small moments where he and Moira get closer than expected (perhaps physically, like hands brushing against each other or faces getting a little too close to one another).

And for a second, he literally holds his breath and goes quiet for a moment over it. His heart is skipping one too many beats and he's not sure if those actions are intentional or not.

It's a coincidence, yet also fate, / for I knew it'd be better if I didn't try to find out.

This specific lyric can tie into the last explanation. But I also imagined these lyrics to be paired with the scene where the twins go to trial and Moira is present in it, watching. (Make it hit even harder if she was finally also there during his performance in the opera house and witnessed the murder that happened too).

I felt your warmth on my skin. / Your smile and your gestures are going to break me.

I like thinking that Lyney's recalling all the soft little moments they had before, yk, as friends. All of Moira's soft and happy smiles. It's hurting him that it's being replaced atm with a very shocked and distressed expression over what she's witnessing.

Ah, I spin and spin, and am tired of spinning. / Ah, I spin and spin, and am tired of spinning. / Ah, my breath, my breath is stopping. / Ah, my breath, my breath is stopping.

There's not much to explain here other than the fact that Lyney feels super guilty and ashamed that Moira has to witness all of what's happening during the trial.

Ah, that things will begin to change, / ah, is a scary thought.

Additionally, he's worried that this'll put a strain on their already existing friendship, and maybe any possibility of them being together is being washed down the drain completely.

I quit. I'm not waiting for you anymore. / Otherwise, I really will end up breaking.

Self-explanatory? But also I feel like Lyney only ends up breaking bc the Traveler made it clear that they had some distrust in him and Lynette after knowing that they hid their real identities to them.

So that's just another layer of emotions to Lyney, and I don't think he's very good at concealing his emotions for too long if he keeps bottling it all up.

Once the trial ends and everything is cleared up, Lyney feels a little emotionally drained since he doesn't know how Moira feels about him now even after he's proven innocent. Not only that, but there is a bit of strain in him and the Traveler's friendship too. How much more for him and Moira?

Luckily, when he meets her again. She seemed worried yet relieved that Lyney was indeed innocent, and seemed to be fussing over him and how he's feeling. His heart skips a beat once more and he really just doesn't wanna put himself into this emotional rollercoaster again.

But then, the way she's holding his face so gently and looking at him with worry yet also so much care... it feels a little too much like coincidence to it to not be love. For it to not be something that she also reciprocated for him.

Was he blind? Was he just tired? Was he the oblivious one all this time? Did he misinterpret all those friendly gestures to be just friendly and not also a hint that she loved him, but showed it differently? Oh, his head is spinning so much.

"Moira?" "Yes, Lyney?" "I need to ask- it's been keeping my mind restless and painfully curious. Do you love me?"

She's... surprised at first, but she sighs and shows him a soft smile. Maybe one that's with more adoration now. "Have you only noticed now? Yes, of course I do."

"Oh."

Tried to come up with YouTuber names for these characters since they didn't really get one in canon (Chiaki isn't even canonly a YouTuber lol)

1. I have 0 JP knowledge, both the language and the behavior of YouTubers & its fanbase there

2. There may already be YouTubers with these names and I didnt know :')

Gouji (ゴージ) - Makino

This was meant to be a pun on 五 ("go") which means "5" & 王子 ("ouji") which means "prince"

The "5" references his 5-second stare that can charm anybody lol

Nananemu (7ねむ) - Nanami

The "7" is because the 七 ("nana") part of her name means seven

While "Nemu" can mean "sleep / drowsiness"

Onikai (鬼カイ) - Kaikoku

I think it'd be funny if he's the type to be uncreative with names so this is basically the "oni" part of his family name combined with the "kai" of his first name

Also he already kinda uses "oni" as part of his brand so I feel it'd make sense he'd include it in his username

MARSHROOM - Zakuro

Meant to combine "marshmallow" & "mushroom"

Not much explanation here other than mushrooms are often associated with him wheeze

But "marsh" in itself is a type of terrain, which can be fitting for someone who plays stealth-type of games maybe

Sakusaki (サクサキ) - Sakura

Both 咲 ("Saku") & 咲希 ("Saki") have "bloom" as part of their meanings

"Saku" was derived from her name "Sakura"

Ichineko (1猫) - Ichiya

一 ("Ichi"), which is also a part of Ichiya's name, means "one"

While 猫 ("Neko") means "cat," and it's there to reference his role as Carmine, who's associated with a cat mask

Tamagohan (タマゴハン) - Himiko

This was meant to be a pun on 卵 ("tamago") which means "egg" & ご飯 ("gohan") which means "rice"

Not much to explain here other than this references Himiko loving tamagoyaki & that she was called a "rice god" at one point

drew needs a drink. preferably a frozen one loaded with sugar and caffeine and spat out of a tempestuous old machine that should've been upgraded at least two halloween franchise reboots ago. he wanders out of the convention center with his gaze on his phone, searching his contacts for someone to invite. he considers charlie because it'd be funny ... or zoya because she likes sweets ... maybe he'll invite them both ? drew is just about to fire off the texts when he hears his name, and his attention is torn from the task before he presses send. the furrow of concentration in his brow as he searches the crowded parking lot for a familiar face becomes an uptick of surprise when he realizes it was her. he grins ( which falters for just a moment as he watches them trip, and he tries to lurch — pun intended — forward to help, but doesn't do so quickly or gracefully enough in the slightest ) and stuffs his phone into his pocket with the texts still unsent. "uh ... " drew glances around, just to make sure that they were actually addressing him. there was no one standing near enough for a mix up to be likely, and he did bring a drawing to get it autographed at their meet and greet. "i feel like i know him, but sometimes my arms bend back." he grins at her again, and nods as he reaches into his bag full of merch and freebies. ( mostly freebies, some of which weren't supposed to be free, but drew had somehow made quick friends out of almost everyone he had met at the convention without even namedropping his dad or explaining his connection to the upcoming graphic novel being advertised so liberally around the convention that only halfway through the day it had started to get embarrassing. ) drew nods again as he slides his artwork out of the cardboard tube he had sealed it in to preserve it after he had gotten luna's autograph. "yeah, i am an artist. thanks." he feels his cheeks warm up at the compliment, which hardly ever happens but — they were in two scream movies. and x. she's wednesday addams. her mom is gale weathers. luna herrera is the definitive scream queen of the modern day. and she likes his artwork and remembers his name. he suddenly feels as though he might need that drink even more than he did a few minutes ago because he could totally pass out any second now. "i think you wanted to take a picture of the drawing ? but it might be kinda hard because it's all curled up now from being inside the tube. you need something heavy to weigh down the top and bottom so it lays flat, you know ? like paperweights or rocks ... or ... " he frowns as though he's trying very hard to think of some more. " ... sith lords ... or two slushies. oh hey, crazy coincidence ! " he's visibly struggling to keep the grin off of his face, one corner of his mouth twitching precariously. "i was just about to go get one slushie, and if you were to come along and get one too ... " he finally grins. " ... it'd have to be a group effort, but we just might be able to impress your artist friend."

luna  had  only  agreed  to  attend  the  horror  con  because  she  thought  they'd  have  time  to  walk  the  convention  themselves.  they  were  excited  to  be  amongst  other  monster  enthusiasts  and  gawk  at  all  the  exhibits,  purchase  way  too  many  replicas,  and  geek  out  over  the  creative  minds  behind  their  favorite  genre.  instead,  they  were  nothing  more  than  an  attraction  themselves.  their  role  as  tara  carpenter  got  them  a  meet  and  greet  for  all  the  scream  fans  who  wanted  to  to  tell  her  how  much  they  hated  their  role,  loved  her  acting,  or  thought  they  were  gonna  die.  it  wasn't  much  different  from  the  online  discourse  she  always  found  themselves  tagged  in,  so  handling  it  in  person  (  with  security  guards  to  keep  everyone  moving  )  should  have  been  a  piece  cake.  they  even  found  a  monotonous  rhythm  to  it  all:  smile,  sign,  say  thank  you  for  the  gifts  (  if  there  were  gifts  ),  and  wave  goodbye.  but  they  hadn't  accounted  for  drew. she  thought  about  him  attending,  of  course  they  had.  this  was  someone  they  spoke  to  nearly  every  day  as  a  teenager  about  the  gory  details  of  a  latest  thriller  or  swapped  scary  stories  with  during  the  witching  hour.  if  he  had  the  opportunity  to  come  he  wouldn't  miss  it,  so  it  shouldn't  have  surprised  her  when  he  did  show  up  to  their  table.  but  it  did.  the  smile  she  gave  him  was  less  of  a  hard  outline  and  more  like  paint  splashed  on  canvas,  vibrant  and  making  itself  known  without  introduction.  how  odd  was  it  that  he'd  managed  to  find  her,  but  of  course,  he  hadn't.  not  that  version  of  them  they  wanted  him  to  find.  drew  didn't  come  looking  for  the  user  ghoulsandconchas,  he  came  to  find  the  actor  behind  tara  carpenter.  all  they  needed  to  do  was  smile,  sign,  say  thank  you  for  coming,  compliment  his  drawing,  ask  about  his  inspiration...━━━  they'd  gone  off  script.  it  wasn't  long  before  to  two  were  swapping  stories  and  opinions,  their  favorite  releases,  what  they  couldn't  wait  to  see.  the  autography  had  been  half  abandoned  and  the  picture  an  after  thought.  only  pulling  it  together  when  security  reminded  them  that  there  was  a  line  getting  longer  by  the  minute  behind  him. saying  goodbye  to  him  was  harder  than  they  thought  it  would  be.  she  hoped  he'd  somehow  know  something  was  off  and  make  his  way  back  to  her  booth.  they  swore  on  any  higher  power  that  would  listen  that  he  he  did,  she'd  tell  him  the  truth.  but  the  night  came  to  a  close,  and  he  never  showed  up.  she  had  her  phone  open  to  their  messages  as  they  headed  out  to  go  home,  contemplating  on  how  to  message  him  something  casual  about  the  con  to  see  what  he'd  say.  they'd  glanced  up  for  only  a  second,  and  there  he  was.  ❝  drew  !  ❞  his  name  dashed  off  the  tongue,  impulsive  and  without  considering  the  excuses  they'd  now  have  to  deliver  for  calling  out  to  him.  ❝  that's  your  name  right  ?  ❞  she  stammered  as  they  tripped  over  their  own  fit  a  little  while  coming  to  stand  beside  him.  ❝  you  came  to  the  signing  earlier,  had  that  really  sick  drawing  ?  i  just  wanted  to  ask  if  i  could  take  a  picture  of  it  to...━━  ❞  to  cherish.  to  look  back  and  remember  how  nice  it  felt  to  talk  to  you  outside  of  a  screen.  ❝  ━━  to  show  off.  i  have  this  friend,  also  an  artist  ━━  ❞  also  ?  is  that  something  that  tara  luna  would  know  or  only  ghoulsandconchas  luna  ?  ❝  ━━  if  you  are  an  artist,  i  don't  know  i  just  assumed  because  you're  so  good.  um...━━  what  was  i  saying  ?  ❞

atsumu! i think this is, like, not a super original take but sometimes the haikyuu fandom gets things right. i think atsumu is the most comfortable with expressing his affection through physical touch and with words, while kiyoomi is more comfortable with showing his affection through acts of service and gestures and that kinda of stuff. so i'm gonna go with atsumu overall. his whole vibe just gives me "i love you so i'm gonna drape myself over you and wait for you to play with my hair until i fall asleep" energy. am i projecting. no one needs to know the answer to that question actually.

17. Who says I love you first?

ok i have complicated feelings about this. so. i think atsumu is the kind of person who grows up in an environment where "i love you" is a completely easy thing to say, whether it's with his mom or with his friends or whoever. so saying "i love you" is something that atsumu does with everyone he's close with, especially his close friends. so before they even start dating, atsumu is ending their hang outs by saying ok bye love you; he's waving kiyoomi off after practice by saying love you, see you later; he's using love and my love as terms of endearment as soon as he deems them close enough friends to do so.

but this all being said, i think that the first one to say it romantically is actually kiyoomi. i think it's a spur of the moment thing that just surprises them both. like, they're sitting in the kitchen making dinner for their weekly date night or w/e and maybe atsumu tests to see if the frying pan is hot enough by putting his finger on it and subsequently burning himself. and kiyoomi finds himself just saying "you're lucky i love you because you're a terrible cook" and they both just fucking freeze.

but then it just. becomes the most natural thing in the world. because atsumu has been saying it forever, even if there's a little more of a heat in his chest to it now. and now that kiyoomi has said it once and the world didn't end and atsumu didn't leave him for being overbearing or too much, like he's always feared, then he must be able to say it whenever he feels like it. (so he does. whenever they're alone and it hits him especially hard--which is so often. and it means just as much each time.)

18. Who leaves little notes in the other’s one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)

they work at the same place and eat lunch together so i don't think either of them really feel the need to sneak in little notes like that? but i think if they were on different teams or in different workplaces, it would be kiyoomi making their lunches and atsumu sneaking in notes. kiyoomi opens his box, ready for the meal he made that morning, and finds something sweet from atsumu alongside it. i think it'd be very funny and also in character for atsumu to write down bad puns and stupid jokes and useless pieces of advice and slip them into kiyoomi's lunch. the idea of kiyoomi reading things like that at a workplace where he has a reputation makes atsumu laugh, and the actual reading of them makes kiyoomi laugh.

IM HERE IM ASKING ABOUT UR DSMP AVIANS AU okay so like when u mean avians im assuming human-bird hyrbids like we see with grian and phil and sometimes tommy and quackity but what kinds of birds r everyone?? does everything in canon still apply the same way or are some things altered to better fit their new bird characteristics???? And do u have any new, altered design ideas that you'd like to show or describe? ???? :DDDD

i haven't got ideas for all of the dsmp characters yet, but here are the ideas i have so far:

Non-Avians:

slime (he's still a slime, he just shapeshifted some wings on himself to blend in and look more normal (since most of the server's members are avians of some kind))

techno (he's a totally normal immortal human who's just. kinda Here)

antfrost (still Cat)

those aren't the only non-avians, but they're the only ones i have ideas for atm

The Members (Who Are Avians) That I Have Ideas For:

tommy- Mourning Dove (listen. the Symbolism. mourning doves aren't Just symbols of sorrow and grief (which...yeah), but also for peace, love and faith (religious c!tommy hcs, anyone-))

tubbo- Eurasian Golden Oriole (this one is purely for the Vibes)

ranboo- Black-and-White Warbler (again, Also The Vibes)

wilbur- European Starling (partially for The Vibes, but also cause I just think it'd look nice (also, I know according to lore that c!wil is apparently from utah, so him being a European Bird would make no sense lore-wise, but shhh-))

sally (because yes, she's here as well)- Osprey (water bird, they live near water (like the ocean), and i hc sally to be a pirate)

dream- Loggerhead Shrike (my thought process behind trying to find a bird for this guy was basically 'what sort of f**ked up bird would fit with this guy?' then i remembered shrikes. y'know, those birds that impale their prey on spikes? that are also SONGBIRDS? look, the vibes fit Way Too Well for me. also, i discovered that loggerhead shrikes can be found in florida! :] also, a fun fact! shrikes are actually Also hunt other birds :) take that how you will)

punz- Peregrine Falcon (every time i try to think of a bird for this guy, my brain keeps screeching 'F A L C O N')

phil- Crow, but the wings still have those diamond shape things that are on his cape (i think this one's a bit obvious)

fundy- Raven (look, hes both descended from The Angel of Death and has prophetic dreams. it fits for me)

eret- Lilac-Breasted Roller (Very Colorful. eret deserves to have a very colorful bird. seriously, look them up, they are The Rainbow As A Bird-)

purpled- Violet-Backed Starling (...guess)

hannah- Rosefinch, Specifically one of those Very Pink Rosefinches (...pink, also is literally called a ROSEfinch-)

niki- House Sparrow (i looked up german birds and house sparrows came up. look, i'm trying-)

sam- California Condor (okay, so! i looked up vulture symbolism, right? well, along with death and all that, vultures are also symbols for seriousness, protection, intelligence, and resourcefulness. plus, these guys are Big, and isn't c!sam canonically like, over 7 feet tall?)

quackity- Mallard Duck (look. Duck)

jack- Robin (Vibes)

foolish- Golden Eagle (big bird, and also...y'know..Golden. Eagle. just. the pun (cause his character is like a totem. which looks like it's made out of gold. look this one was partially cause my brain thought it'd be funny))

that's all i can really of for characters atm. but now!! facts!! about the au!!

so! life stages for avians!

-Hatchling: basically from birth to 5 years old. wings have little-to-no feathers

-Fledgling: 6-8 years old. wings have Down Feathers. fluffy :]

-Featherling: 9-13 years. at this point, the actual feathers start coming in! featherlings now have the ability to slow their falling and glide! no flying yet though :(

-Flightlings: 14-Adulthood. they start learning to actually fly now! at the beginning of the smp, tommy, tubbo, ranboo, and purpled fit this description!

so yeah, as you said, certain plot points have changed due to most people being, y'know, Part Bird. basically, people can actually fly around now! birb instincts!! CHIRPING AND OTHER NOISES!!

sally is here because Yes. she drags wilbur off to therapy post-nov. 16th. she is 110% done with both dream and punz's bs at this point. she just wants to protect her flock, man >:/

wing clipping is. unfortunately still a thing. i mean, from what i've looked up, wing clipping isn't exactly Permanent-Permanent. like, the feathers will eventually molt out and new feathers will grow in. it's only be really permanent if someone were to keep doing it, y'know. every time the feathers come back. so...there's that! still doesn't mean it's absolutely horrible for avians though

dream has clipped the wings of at least three server members. you can probably guess who at least One of those people are and what arc it was during

fun fact! while it's still pretty bad for a non-avian to clip the wings of an avian, it's Still not seen as being as bad as when an Avian clips Another Avian's wings. because. y'know. that's actually viewed as being Incredibly F**ked Up! on Several Levels!

y'know what? if you want, i'll make another post specifically about Exile and the Avian Au Specific F**ked Up S**t that happened there

so...i've heard of like this 'death spiral' eagles do when they mate. however, my brain came up with an interesting idea for that in this au! what if was more of a...fighting move? like, one avian grabs onto the hands of another avian and just starts trying to get them both to spiral to the ground? you know, as a way of killing each other? basically, they spiral until one is finally on the bottom. obviously, the one who hits the ground first dies.

...so, fun fact based off the above point! sally actually did that with punz in this au post-final control room! basically as a 'f**k you for killing my flock'

...well, she didn't exactly win that one. but the point is that she tried and was angry enough to do that

tommy Really Really does Not like people touching or being around his wings. At all. if he lets you be around his wings-or even lets you Preen them-then that's him showing a major sign of trust on his end.

that's all i've really got for now! but yeah, i've put a lot of thought into this!! i'm proud of myself for this!!
