This post is dumb for several reasons:
There is a difference between being brave and being suicidal. The Xenomorphs, Pennywise and Pyramidhead WILL kill you. Most Monster Girls will not. Even those that will, like some of the ones in Monster Girl Quest, will usually fuck you BEFORE they kill you. It's a "Its worth the risk" sort of scenario. Half the characters here have no interest in fucking, they will just kill you. Trying to fuck them is a pointless endeavor
Half of these are verging on beastiality. Which, fine, its fiction, obviously no real animals are being hurt. Im not an anti, if you obviously couldn't tell from my blog. However, I would not someone a coward for not being into fictional animals or animal like monsters, any more than I would call someone a coward for not being into lolis or shotas. Its a small niche and does not reflect the majority of the population.
Contrary to kaasknot's reply, the idea that only men are more shallow when it comes to looks irl, does not actually hold up AT ALL when you look at the facts. Case in point, here is an actual the results of an actual study where users of OK Cupid had to rank a bunch of other random users of the opposite sex based on their appearance:
As you can see, most women were ranked by men as "average" wheras most men were ranked by women as "unattractive". Womens standards in mens appearance is actually way higher than men, and its actually become a pretty big talking point in many circles of the internet. People make fun of the "know the work rules meme" but it didn't come out of nowhere. And you can even see this in fandom spaces where women will be more willing to forgive attractive male characters that commit war crimes than unattractive ones for far lesser character flaws.
If anything, id say statement about women having to find "likable/sexy traits in horrific/mediocre men" unintentionally proves my point. Its not that women are "trained from birth" to do this (at least not in todays age anyway), but because women have so much higher standards when it comes to looks (and even more so when it comes to money - some men will date women for their looks, but I've never met a guy who cared about a girl being poor) they are far more likely to end up with men who are abusive than the average guy, who tends to date girls because they are nice to them. Im not saying abuse never happens to men - in fact it happens to men more often than you realize, but most men who end up with an abusive women are the ones who are so desperate they are worried that they will end up alone / no one else will date them, whereas a lot of women end up like that cause they keep going for good looking bad boys. (Exceptions are usually the few men rich or handsome enough that they can afford women mostly based on looks. Thats how we end up with the Depp / Heard situation.)
Also, the statement about “We like the scaly fish man because he’s better than most men and can see his inner beauty” does NOT line up with the original post at all since, aside from maybe the robot (Have not watched that one) the majority of the characters pictured are awful murderers and awful people. Pennywise primarily kills (and eats) children. Many people have suggested both the Xenomorph and Pyramid head are intended to be rape metephors. Only Venom you could argue is a good person but even they kill people, albeit mostly bad people (and in the OG comics Eddie Brock started off as an entitled pick and corrupt journalist that just wanted to kill Spider-Man for stupid and petty reasons. He only became more complex and heroic over time because he got SO popular the writers realized they couldn’t give him the screen time and focus the fans wanted without giving him more nuance)
Also, its not like fandom has always reflected women's real life tastes:
Also you might be surprised how often a monster girl being misunderstood IS part of the appeal of men’s monstergirl fantasies. Literally a big plot point in Monster Musume is that part of the reason that Kimihito (the protagonist) is liked by the Monster girl characters is he treats them as girls first and monsters second. A big scene in the first episode is Kurusu punching a couple racists for insulting Miia and calling her a freak cause she’s part snake.
This was also a post on a monster girl chan board that became a pretty famous meme / motto among monster girl lovers:
I also think you are giving men’s tastes too little credit. Not every monster girl men find attractive look like your stereotypical cute anime waifu. Case in point, here are some examples that I know at least some men have found hot:
Unless they are a furry (and male furries tend to be some category of lgbt anyway) the only real difference between men and women in regard to attraction to non human characters is men at least need the head and torso to loosely resemble that of an attractive human woman. The lower body and other extremeties can still be extremely monstrous and freakish looking and many men will still want to fuck them.
Even Rachnera Arachnera from Monster Museme, who OP included in her original post, can be pretty frightening when she wants to be. Case in point heres a screenshot to her reaction to a guy trying to assault the centaur girl:
Which combined with just how BIG the spider half of body is, I think she'd be pretty scary and intimidating in real life.
Ive also been part of the Monster Girl Enclopedia fandom for several years now and I can say that though the designs are similar to monster musume and the books put great emphasis on how the monsters love human men and want to mate with them not kill them, you'll notice that many of the most popular species among the fans, such as the Hellhound, Manticore and Ushi-Oni, are the ones most likely to be described as "Giant Feral Rape-Machines"
Like, they are intelligent enough to integrate into human society and many do, but often dating one is essentially being captured by a giant monster cavewoman keeps you in her lair goes out, brings and feeds wild boar and elk that she killed with her bare claws and fangs, and then very longingly violates you and crushes your pelvis.
Interpretations vary, but my favorite MGE Fanart are the ones that empahasize just how big, feral, dominating, powerful and/or predatory these these girls can get. They dont have to be ugly or inhuman to come across as scary or dangerous:
Truth is many guys LOVE monster girls with emphasis on the monster aspect, they just don't like it when they "human woman" aspect is ignored so much you could mistake them for mindless beasts on first glance.
I think part of the reason the perception that men don't like more monstrous women is because I think many of the monstrous women men do like (Or would like, if they were aware of their existence) aren't very well known. A "scary Woman with monstrous features, but still mostly human looking in the head and torso" is a much more specific and less common character design in media than just "monster".
Like, with the exception of the Shape of Water Fishman (never watched it either, not sure if he has a name) none of the characters listed were written with the intent to be romantic interests or sexually appealing, but they ARE well-known and popular enough that people asking, “Wait, there are women who want to fuck that thing??” becomes an internet talking point.
Whereas not many people are talking about men wanting to fuck Queelag, Sheoldred, Zuggtmoy, or the other characters I posted pictures of cause not as many people know who those characters ARE. Probably the most well known “scary” female character that I know a lot of guys get horny for is Samara from the Ring, and a ghost girl isn’t quite the same as an inhuman monster
And really, this is an issue with what sort of characters are being designed for Fantasy, Sci Fi and Horror, not the people consuming it. In most of these cases its people lusting over characters the creators intended to show up in the audiences nightmares rather than their wet dreams. There just happen to be more well known scary male monsters for girls to lust over than scary female ones for the guys to lust over.
(Though, I do want to point out that the Xenomorph is technically NOT male. Depending the continuity / interpretation, it would be most accurate to say the average Xenomorph drone is either female, genderless, or hermaphroditic. If I had to call any part of their species life cycle as male, it would be the face huggers, as they are the only ones doing any impregnating. But even thats trying to apply human sexual classification on a non human creature.)
When women want to fuck monsters:
When men want to fuck monsters:
Conclusion: men are fucking cowards.

Trash TV #1: UDY
Forgive me internet, for I have sinned.
Reality TV is a blight upon society, and we all know it. Yet I have fallen victim to watching the madness unfold. It's like watching a car crash, I can't turn away.
So let he/she/they who doesn't watch Kardashians, or Love Island, or The Bachelor, or any other form trash content that exists solely to appeal to our basest, most vile instincts throw the first stone
With that being said, let's talk about UDY.
Part 1: Introduction
If you believe their Youtube Banner, UDY stands for Underrated, Distinct, and Young. The channel has been going for nine years now, so we will see if they ever stop calling themselves young, or pulling juvenile pranks. For several years now, they have gained views and sponsors by performing "loyalty tests." This is where they take someone's girlfriend or boyfriend, and lure them under false pretenses to a location with hidden cameras, usually a luxury house that the team has rented. At that location there will be a "decoy" whose job is to get the mark to cheat on their partner. There may be all sorts of supporting actors playing friends, employees, photographers, or whoever may be needed to make the decoy seem credible and attractive.
UDY's strategy targeting men usually involves having women act very sexually aggressive, openly suggesting dates / hookups. Basically, can a man resist a woman throwing themselves at him?
The strategy targeting women is to have a man appear extremely wealthy (this makes renting a luxury house all the more essential). He throws around lots of money (fake money) to appear like a gazillionaire. Basically, can women resist an easy ticket to the good life with a handsome man and becoming a trophy wife?
The choice of strategy between the two sexes falls pretty neatly into unfortunate stereotypes. It seems to work well enough for their channel, as they have plenty of vidoes of people failing the test. I don't read too much into it though. Just like with all reality TV, I assume a heavy bias in target selection, editing, and publication. Cheating is the result they want, after all, who wants to watch a video a person not cheating on their partner, with no dramatic confrontation?
Part II: This Was A Bad Idea From The Start
Relationships require trust, and if you don't trust your partner, now it's just a bad relationship. One can make the argument that UDY is doing a service by doing these tests for suspicious couples, because they almost always break up in the end. Ending bad relationships is a net positive, but I'm not going to give them the credit.
These tests are impossible to truly pass. If the mark cheats, they fail. If the mark doesn't cheat, it means the didn't cheat this time. What about next time? Distrust cannot be fixed by a single test. Trust in a relationship is established over time. If you wanted to know if there are any pink elephants on earth, you would have your answer if you found even a single one. However, even finding a million grey elephants would not answer your question with certainty. With a large, randomized sample, you can show things statistically that you can't guarantee with certainty. However, attempting to do so with a sample size of one is scientific malpractice. It leaves the door wide open for comments like this.
So if you catch your partner cheating, you are heartbroken. Sometimes there's even an on camera confrontation which makes for juicy content. If they don't cheat, you are burdened not only with your suspicions that they are disloyal, but also the guilt of lying to and manipulating your partner.
Part III: Their Execution is Laughable
UDY's primary skills appear to be renting expensive houses, and hidden camera work. The other aspects of the operation are not nearly as smooth. Honestly, their blunders are some of the best parts for me, and I'll share a couple of my favorites here.
For sure the most outrageous screwup, one that they don't even acknowledged, was the fake law degree. For one test, the had they decoy play a successful lawyer, and put him in a very expensive house. Maybe my closeness with the law makes me particularly sensitive to this, but come on. Is that not the fakest diploma you've ever seen?
Look at it closely. It's so wrong I don't even know where to begin. I've never seen that embossed cap and scroll icon on the bottom before. It's missing tons of signatures, such as those of the president of the university and the governor. Also, the U.S. doesn't give out bachelor of laws degrees anymore. The law degree given to new lawyers at American universities today is the juris doctor, or J.D.
You don't have to be an expert in what degrees should look like to know that this is an obvious fake. The pièce de résistance is that we don't even know from where this degree purports to originate. There are 5 UC schools that grant law degrees. Alphabetically, they are, Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, LA, and UC College of the Law SF, formerly Hastings. Where exactly did he get his degree? The diploma doesn't say, which is the most obvious giveaway in the world. In short, I wouldn't be caught dead touching this piece of trash. It's like they didn't even try.
If somebody competent was running this operation, they would keep this obvious red flag as far away from the mark as possible. Which means you know that the crew at UDY placed it front and center. They conspicuously and suspiciously left it on the floor of the entryway, and even broke the glass to draw attention to it. Their actor even makes a comment in front of the mark to highlight the broken frame, "Four years of hard work down the drain." Law school is only three years.
Or who could forget the time they were supposed to be following their decoy, only to end up following the wrong car?
(I could go on, but you get the point)
Part IV: Crime?
For one harebrained scheme, they wanted to find out if a girl was actually broke, or if she had money and was just choosing not to pay back her friend. So they decided to do something perfectly reasonable. They lured her (and her car) to the target spot, sent her away (on foot), set up "No Parking" signs and arranged to have a confrontation between her and a tow truck driver WHILE HER CAR IS ON THE TOW HOOK. The theory is, if she can pay money to the tow truck driver to not have her car towed, she can pay back her friend some of the money.
Is it legal to put up fake "no parking" signs and start to tow a girl's car under that pretense? I'm not sure, ask a licensed attorney in your area before you try anything this stupid.
Pictured Above: Sergio doing what I can only assume can best be described as making life very difficult for his attorney.
Part V: The Enablers
So obviously, the viewers are partly to blame. The content machine will starve without eyeballs upon which it can feast. In my defense, I use adblock and sponsorblock (automatically skipping sponsor segments). This lessens my contribution. If you decide to watch content like this, I suggest you also use those browser extensions.
Then there are the sponsors who pay money for promotion in the videos. I'd like to single out Morgan and Morgan for public shaming.
Morgan and Morgan describes themselves as "America's Largest Personal Injury Law Firm." They have offices in all 50 states + D.C. and employ over a thousand lawyers.
I really hope saying this does not cost me a job down the line.
For one video, UDY made gave the decoy a backstory about how he was injurers at work, and was given a multimillon dollar settlement to better integrate with the M&M sponsorship.
Dear Morgan & Morgan. I know that client acquisition for personal injury cases is incredibly important, both to the firm and to those who are injured. I also know it can be a bit unsavory. The term "ambulance chaser" is used as a pejorative for a reason. I think sponsoring youtubers is pretty clever. Just don't choose UDY. These are the kind of people who impersonate lawyers (badly), are willing to commit crimes for a video (See Sergio's quote in the above screenshot, he's willing to tow a car even though he thinks it's illegal), and who have built their entire channel on exploits that harm us all. UDY makes society worse off. Please don't help them.
There are also feeble minded, insecure boyfriends and girlfriends who nominate their partners for these tests, and collude with the UDY team to allow them to be carried out. May you be single for the rest of your days.
Part VI: The Victims
The victims are the people being tested. Sure, they are more sympathetic when they don't cheat. But even when they do, it doesn't justify this.
Victim's privacy is given the bare minimum, and sometimes not even that. Standard protocol is to put an emoji over the victim's face, one that changes to convey emotion needed for the story.
(Yeah dude, that's an understatement)
We do know their partner's name, as well the the general area where the tests take place (Los Angeles area). Often times the test includes details about what kind of job the mark has, and that is incorporated into the test (e.g. a model comes over for a fake modeling shoot). Personal details, like where the mark is from, are sometimes left in. It doesn't seem unlikely to me that somebody could recognize the partner who initiated the test, the figure out who the mark is.
Names appear not to be kept confidential even in the event that the mark fails the test. In the most recent video, we hear the mark introduce herself, so it's clearly not a fake name.
All of this culminates, usually in a confrontation scene. Whether the partner confronts a cheater or the mark confronts the fact that they've been gaslit for this test, it's usually not pretty. Anybody who's had cameras shoved in their face knows that it can be very disorienting. UDY doesn't care. The drama is the point. They film whether you want them to or not.
(This was taken after the mark went outside to get away from the cameras and repeatedly requested to talk without cameras present)
Part VII: Conclusion
Imagine taking some of the most advanced technology mankind has ever created: tiny cameras and microphones, advanced computers for editing, and and the internet for distributing, and using it all to blow up relationships for the amusement of the masses. It is a cynical, heartless creation, and we are all worse off for its existence.
For me, UDY's relationship testing is a true low point in prank / reality TV.
My favorite kind of reality TV is the kind that implodes in on itself. My favorite kind is where the joke is not on the mark, but on the producers of the show themselves. When people try to make a spectacle in bad faith, and instead become the spectacle. It is the justice they deserve. There's some of it in their episodes, but not nearly enough. It's something I hope to be able to explore further in future entries in Trash TV.

Saucy Neckline Onlyfans Creator Shen Yuan
My friend just showed me a video about an onlyfans for saucy victorian ankle pics and it got me thinking about Shen Yuan starting an onlyfans page for saucy neck pics where he wears pretty, elegant hanfu that highlight his neckline.
All to prove to Airplane Bro that neck fetish is NOT an actual thing in Ancient China. He is doing this IRONICALLY while spending bank on expensive hanfu and camera equipment that display his neck beautifully. He posts them on onlyfans, expecting like zero views.
Only to wake up the next day and sees that actual people have donated to his onlyfans page and are asking to see more. Some of them are history buffs who get the irony and just wanna continue the joke but some of them are actually thirsty for Shen Yuan's neck pics.
here's this one person who has actually donated a whole whopping 1000 Yuan on just one pic of Shen Yuan's neck decorated with a gold and pearl choker (it's actually women's jewelry but hey, beauty had no gender). The fan goes by the name Junshang and begs for more pics.
They write a whole exposition with paragraphs praising the artistry of the pic and the tasteful choice in costume that does his pretty neck justice. It should come off as creepy because it's so fucking long and detailed but Shen Yuan is actually kind of flattered?
What started as an internet joke to get back at Airplane bro slowly starts to become a weekly thing Shen Yuan does. Junshang becomes his biggest fan, always leaving effusive comments about the beauty of Shen Yuan's choice in hanfu and scenery in his photos.
And without fail, Junshang always attaches a frankly obscene donation to each and every one of his pics. Shen Yuan starts to wonder who his generous mystery donator is. Is he some random old guy with a neck fetish? Is he some rich preteen heiress with too much time on her hands?
Shen Yuan begins to take requests for clothing and scenery choices from top donators and obviously, Junshang always wins that right, even if they have to donate stupid amounts of money to beat out his other fans.
Shen Yuan gets nervous that Junshang will choose something slutty or revealing but his fan always seems to choose something tasteful and elegant that Shen Yuan would have actually chosen for himself. Some fans have actually been hinting at him to do a live cam Q&A.
They want to know their internet troll with the most desirable neckline on the web. Shen Yuan fiddles with the idea and decides that he'll just trial run for now (since he's super shy IRL and can't handle too many people's attention) and just do a 1-on-1 live show.
He decides to auction off his first live show and obviously, Junshang wins by a long margin. Shen Yuan feels a funny feeling in his chest when he sees that Junshang has won his first live show.
He spends hours flipping through all his outfits to choose the one he thinks Junshang will like the most. He finally settles on a black and red number that he knows Junshang adores by the ginormous donation they sent after he posted that pic up.
As the time draws nearer, Shen Yuan gets more and more nervous. His biggest fan has the option of leaving their camera off (because Shen Yuan respects his fan anonymity) but he hopes Junshang turns on their camera so he can finally have a face to the person who writes him such sweet comments. And right on time, the screen lights up and displays the most handsome man Shen Yuan has ever seen. For a second, Shen Yuan is tongue tied. This is his mysterious benefactor? This hot piece of ass?
Holy shit, this is not the type of person Shen Yuan imagined would need to pay stupid amounts of money for his neck pics.
Shaking himself out of it, Shen Yuan smiles and hesitantly asks, "Junshang?"
The man smiles and oh my god, he has dimples.
"Hello, Shen Yuan."
Shen Yuan snaps out of his daze and quickly replies, “H-Hi!”
To his surprise, the man turns shy and looks down bashfully before sneaking a peek up at him like a blushing maiden.
“You’re so much more beautiful in real life, Shen Yuan.”
Oh my God, Shen Yuan can feel the tips of his ears burn. How can a guy that hot be dropping lines like that without killing anyone?
“I-It’s nice to finally put a face to my biggest supporter!” Shen Yuan says.
“Nice to meet you, Junshang!”
“Binghe.”
“What?”
“My name,” the man smiles that cute dimpled smile. “My name is Luo Binghe.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Binghe,” Shen Yuan smiles back helplessly. “So… what questions do you have for me?”
They spend the next hour chatting tirelessly about Shen Yuan’s internet troll onlyfans page (Binghe laughs while Shen Yuan chuckles and defends himself “It seemed like a good idea at the time!”) and about Luo Binghe’s life.
Shen Yuan finds out the Binghe is younger than him (“I should be calling you Yuan Ge!”), loves cooking, and that he’s a university student who stumbled upon his web page in a fit a boredom over studying for his exams.
The hour goes by so quickly that Shen Yuan startles when the timer he set up goes off. He had so much fun talking with Luo Binghe and he is actually a little disappointed that the time is over. Taking a peek at the screen, he notices that Binghe seems to think the same.
“I had a really fun time talking with you, Yuan Ge,” Binghe says. “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet with you.”
“You too, Binghe,” Shen Yuan replies and finds that he actually means that sincerely.
No one moves to turn off their screen and Shen Yuan hesitantly chews on his own lip, the wheels in his brain turning. This goes against every online meeting rule he’s every known but fuck it.
“Hey, Binghe?” Shen Yuan hesitantly asks. “What city are you located in?”
The man visibly perks up at the question and eagerly tells him. To both of their delight, they actually live in the same city and neighborhood. Binghe is the one who shyly brings up if he would be open to possibly meeting in real life.
“B-But only if Yuan Ge wants to!” Binghe is quick to add, turning bright red, “I completely understand if Yuan Ge doesn’t want to!”
“Of course I want to!” Shen Yuan giggles at the man’s blushing appearance, “We can continue that talk about ideas for my next shoot, if you’re open to it? You had some really great ideas!”
“S-Shen Ge likes my ideas?” Binghe asks wondrously.
“How about coffee at the local café?” Shen Yuan suggests.
The day of the meeting, Shen Yuan is nervous. He’s dressed in ordinary modern day clothes and he knows that he looks so very plain and boring in them. He’s afraid of disappointing his biggest fan and literally the hottest man on Earth.
When he sees Binghe waiting at the café already 15 minutes early, he nearly has to do a double take. Binghe is even more handsome in real life, tall and built like one of those ancient xianxia heroes from those dramas his sister watches.
The entire café seems just as enthralled as Shen Yuan with the man, all the girls sneaking glances at him and whispering to each other. Binghe just seems to look bored and distant but the moment he sees Shen Yuan, his entire face lights up.
“Yuan Ge!” he waves his hand like an overeager puppy. “I saved us a seat!”
“Binghe,” Shen Yuan smiles, all doubts about his own appearance wiped from his mind. “I hope I’m not too late!”
“Yuan Ge is not late at all,” Binghe insists, “I was just too excited and came early.”
They spend an entire afternoon talking again about everything under the sun. Throughout the duration of the conversation, Shen Yuan realizes that he’s starting to actually like his troll onlyfans account. It’s fun and it brought him Binghe.
The afternoon bleeds into the evening and Shen Yuan suggests a local restaurant nearby. Dinner becomes dessert becomes drinks, and before long, it’s late at night and Shen Yuan doesn’t want to leave Binghe.
Binghe offers to drive him home since the local transportation has stopped running which Shen Yuan accepts. The ride is silent but nice in the way that it allows Shen Yuan to percolate his thoughts.
“We’re here, Yuan Ge,” Binghe says as they roll up to his apartment.
“Would you…” Shen Yuan starts then stops again, “Would you maybe want to join in on some of my photos?”
He can see the moment Binghe finally registers his words, face growing so bright it’s like staring into the sun. “I would love nothing more!”
They become one of the highest grossing onlyfans account on the site as supporters become increasingly intrigued by the new addition to their favorite neckline troll’s photos. The speculation runs wild that these two are together.
Shen Yuan smiles at all the comments on his account and neither confirms nor denies these suspicions.
But later he runs another Q and A session, the one free to his fan base and Binghe joins in on the video, sitting side by side with his Yuan Ge while holding his hand and staring amorously at him as he answers the fan’s questions. As the livestream draws to a close, Binghe brings up their joined hands and presses a gentle kiss on Shen Yuan’s knuckles. The Onlyfans site goes down from the influx of traffic.

Hi , can you do one where you get kinda harassed by the paparazzi and has a bit of a panic but mason is here to calm you down and rassure you and confort you .Thank you ❤️
changed it to fans instead of paparazzi, cause in my mind it made more sense,, hope you don’t mind and thank you for the request love <3
safe with me - mason mount x reader
REQUESTS ARE CLOSED // MASTERLIST
warnings: english is not my first language, not proofread, suggestive language
word count: 2.1k
“Did you know that wood frogs can hold their pee for up to eight months?” Mason interrupted the comfortable silence while you were still eating your meal. Looking up at him, you saw him watching you from across the table, waiting for your reaction. You let out a little chuckle, chewing and swallowing the food in your mouth before answering him.
“Is this knowledge supposed to impress me, Mase?”
“Not everything is about you, Y/N.” he said with a snort, smiling at you and placing his hand on the table, whereupon you stretched your arm out as well to hold it.
“Tell me more.” you mumbled, leaning your head on your hand, making him tell you about how they are sticking it out through the region’s long winters before relieving themselves once temperatures increase — or something like that. As he spoke you, you couldn’t help but digress, and the smile grew even wider as he spoke so enthusiastically about this random information, as he always did. Just one of many things you adored about him.
Your eyes never left his face, staring into the beautiful brown eyes of the man you currently spent your one-year anniversary with in this fancy restaurant. Normally, you both preferred to stay inside and cook for each other, just cuddle and have a movie marathon. You didn’t like it when the public became aware of you or your relationship, which Mason completely understood and he supported you in keeping it as secret as possible. Still, you thought you’d offer to go on a special date with him today, as your anniversary was the perfect opportunity. And luckily this evening has been perfect so far, only once was Mason recognised by a man who asked for a photo with him, and Mason being Mason didn’t let him down, even though those pictures and informations are probably all over the internet by now.
“Oh! And their urin actually helps keeping them alive… I don’t know how though.” he finished, seeing you smile bright at him, which made him think you were holding back a laugh. “What’s so funny?”
At his question, you shook your head, trying to tell him that you are not laughing at him, which he didn’t quite grasp. “What is it?” he whined, whereupon you squeezed his hand.
“I could sit here and listen to you forever.”
“Personally, I’d like to go home at some point, but each to their own, I guess.” he laughed, trying to hide the blush that crept onto his cheeks.
“Besides, you look really handsome today. That new haircut suits you very well.” you said, watching him unconsciously run his hand through his hair at the mention of it to see if it’s still sitting perfectly — another thing on your ‘favourite things about Mason’ list.
“You look pretty good too, Y/N...” he murmured, looking you up and down as far as the table would allow him. “I can’t wait to take that dress off you later.”
Now it was your turn to hide your blush and pulling your hand away from his to finish your meal and go home as quickly as possible. He, on the other hand, wanted to tell you anything else, since he was already done eating and craved some kind of attention from you, but you beat him to it. “I want to hear one more fact.”
“About?”
“The moment you knew you were in love with me.” you smiled and the answer shot out of you as you could already sense his response. Your words made him chuckle and he thought for a moment before he started to recount.
“It was actually just before I said it for the first time. When you were lying there on my chest, it kind of clicked and I knew in that moment that I loved you, that I was exactly where I was supposed to be, with the person I wanted to spend my whole life with.” He said, making it hard to chew from the growing smile on your face and you felt your stomach flutter at the sweet memory.
“And when I realised that, it all started to make sense. Why I always got super nervous when you were around, why my cheeks turned red and I couldn’t stop smiling. Why I no longer felt like something was missing since you came into my life, and why I would literally sacrifice anything for you..."
“Well, maybe not my Playstation, that’s too important.” he added, trying to crack a joke so as not to sound too cheesy at that moment. “So I come second to your Playstation? That’s a really generous placement."
“To be fair, when I think about it, my medals are second place. But you should really feel honoured to be third.” You rolled your eyes at his remark, ate the last bit of your food and drowned the rest of your wine, whereupon he stood up and offered you his hand, which you gladly accepted.
“Let’s go home then, shall we? I still have something planned.” he smirked, draping his jacket over your shoulders and handing you your bag before heading out, as he already paid earlier. “Does your plan include us being naked, by any chance?”
“Wait and see.” he replied, opening the door and watching the rain pelting down, which wasn’t visible through the tinted windows of the restaurant. “Great. Love that for us.”
“Wait here for me, love.” he said with a kiss on your head before walking back into the restaurant without further explanation. While you waited for him for what felt like an eternity, you noticed the group of about ten people standing not too far away from you, apparently waiting for something - or someone. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw them pointing at you and you tried to ignore them by pulling out your phone and checking Instagram. Which didn’t help, because you could still hear them talking about you, saying things about the way you looked and dressed, which made your heartbeat quicken and you prayed for Mason to hurry up and come back. It reminded you of the dm’s you got on Instagram from people who somehow found out who you were and who you dated, who sent you daily insults and tried to put you down. One of the reasons why you didn’t want to be in public with him.
Just when you were thinking about whether you should go after him to get out of this situation that was making an anxious feeling grow in the pit of your stomach, he came back again.
“We don’t have to walk long, but I don’t want you to get sick.” he said, opening the umbrella he had been given by the staff, which made you send him a fake smile that didn’t convince him, as he knew you better than that.
“What’s going on?” he asked, to which you nodded your head in their direction. “They said some things about me.” you mumbled and when he looked over at them, they took their chance and came up to you to ask Mason for photos and autographs. But when he saw the state you were in and what you had just told him, he decided to tell them nicely that now wasn’t the time, took your hand and led you over to his car.
But Mason’s comments didn’t seem to be to any use at all because they followed you down the street and even filmed you while asking Mason hundreds of questions, all of which he ignored. Instead, he asked them several times to stop, without once turning around so that you could get to the car faster. When they still didn’t give in, you felt yourself panicking from the attention, your body tensing up and you felt like you couldn’t breathe, just wanting to be swallowed up by the ground.
Fortunately, you soon reached the gate to the parking lot, which was so secluded that they couldn’t get in. Mason thought about talking to these people again to make them understand that they mustn’t do that, but quickly decided against it as he didn’t want you to be alone. So he walked with you to the car, let go of your hand and put it over your shoulder to pull you closer to his side.
“I’m sorry that happened.” he said as you got there and opened the door for you. But you just got in the car without giving him an answer, feeling like you’d have to cry as soon as you opened your mouth. Mason closed the door behind you and got in himself. He threw the umbrella in the back seat before looking over at you and seeing you staring out the window, not moving a bit, except for your fingers. Which were nervously fumbling with the handles of your bag.
“Hey.” whispered Mason after a few seconds, taking your hand in both of his to stop your movements, “What can I do? I want you to feel better.” His words snapped you out of your thoughts, and only now did you realise you were still in the parking lot as you concentrated on getting your breathing under control, which only added to the anxious feeling.
“Can you open the window?” you asked, turning to him and it was the apologetic look on his face that made the tears start to roll because you suddenly felt like a burden to him. Mason quickly pressed a button in his car to roll down your window, letting the fresh evening air into the car, and he immediately took you into his arms as you began to sob, not letting you pull away even though you tried.
“It’s okay, I’ve got you baby.” he whispered as you finally gave in to his grip and relaxed against his chest as you held onto his shirt, him being exactly what you needed at that moment. His arms wrapped tightly around you, afraid that if he let go of you, you’d disappear. Afraid that you would leave him because of what a relationship with him meant. “I’m sorry for what they said, but-”
“It’s not just that.” you said barely audibly as the sobs engulfed your voice, though the cold air mixed with his soothing touch at least lessened your panic.
“I know, love.” he kissed the top of your head, running a hand through your hair and massaging your scalp, knowing it relaxed him when you did that to him and hoping it had the same effect on you. “Look at me, Y/N.”
It took you a moment to raise your head and stare with watery eyes at the wet stains on his shirt, which made you feel even worse. “Look at me.” he repeated, forcing your eyes to look into his as his thumbs caught the tears running down your cheeks. “I love you. Whatever they or other people have said, you are it for me. You’re perfect for me just the way you are, and knowing that I’m sitting here with you makes me realise that I’ve done everything right in my life. And I’m sorry you had to endure this, I promise you I won’t let anything like this happen again. I just want you to feel safe with me.”
The impact of his words made you stop crying, but still sobs escaped your mouth, making it hard for you to speak and answer him. “It’s okay, just take a moment to calm down.” pulling your head back to his chest, where his scent relaxed you further.
“I feel so stupid for ruining our evening.” you mumbled after a while, lifting your head again to see the frown on his face.
“Never feel stupid for having a normal reaction to a situation you couldn’t control, Y/N.” pressing kisses under your eyes where the skin was still slightly cold from your tears. “Plus, you didn’t ruin our evening, if anyone did, it was them. But I got to spend it with you, so it was still perfect.”
You smiled at that, glad to have Mason by your side because you didn’t know what to do without him. He was always the light at the end of the tunnel, always the one who made you feel better, and you couldn’t be more in love with someone. “You said you had something else planned for tonight?”
“That’s right.”
“Then let’s go home.”

Im going to actually take the time to respond to this because i thought it was interesting enough. None of this is really any sort of personal attack and if It might be easier for you to read it, to consider my responses to be outward statements to the internet as a whole and your post just being a prompt for me to respond to.
First of all i cannot comment on hirokoshi himself because i don’t know him as a person or how he treats real people but drawing fictional characters in perverted/sexual scenarios will never be morally wrong or an actual example of a persons actions or wants in reality. With that logic all the people who like murderer characters actually murder people. Hannibal fans actually want to eat people. It’s illogical and a moot point. THE WAY SOMEONE TREATS REAL PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS MATTER MORE THAN WHATEVER FICTIONAL CONTENT THEY CREATE OR CONSUME IS. I think half of what the guy says and does when it comes to sexual stuff and his characters is weird but it’s not a comment on his moral character.
But yes Criticisms of over-sexualisation in anime and manga is respectable a d understandable but MHA isn’t really the one to be having this conversation about, as the VAST majority of “sexualisation” is played for comedy and/or has an explainable reason in canon- such as the hero costumes. Like most of it is just… stuff teenagers do, even some (SOME NOT ALL, OR MOST. SOME) of the stuff mineta says and does is just a weird horny teen boy puberty shit. I know internet fiction purists don’t want to hear this but… teenagers aren’t inherently asexual. They do sexual shit, they get into sexual situations, and theres nothing wrong with portraying that in FICTION.
But the biggest thing that made me want to respond to this and i know it was a single line but.… Mineta does actually face consequences. I don’t know if you’ve actually paid any amount of attention to the show/manga but he NEVER gets away with anything he does and no one except Denki ever excuses it (and often Sero joins in until he takes it too far). He gets slapped, tied up, pushed, thrown, kicked, told off, everything EVERY TIME. the story never once tries to portray what he does as “right” its always explicitly wrong. Being played for comedy ≠ being shown as an okay thing to do.
Mineta saying that thing to eri, man yeah its a weird as fuck thing to say but… it’s literally a thing ppl say. Its just a compliment to the kid, like personally i think its cringey as fuck and needs to stop but majority of the time when someone says it they mean it like wow youre gonna be so handsome/pretty when you grow up, you should be proud!” And not “i want to fuck you. I cant wait until its socially/legally acceptable for me to fuck you.” Personally i think mineta was too socially stupid to think it wouldn’t come off the wrong way. People def misunderstood it which is 100% the fault of mineta being the one to say it, when, at the time, his character was one to say that sort of thing with a literal sense. if anyone else had said it the fandom would have recognised it as just that weird thing people say and see it as the joke it was lets be real.
I think hagikure cover is weird as a cover but its a very pretty picture, people are so weird about it but by this point you know my opinion on sexualising anime characters. It was def not the right choice and should have stayed a random bit of extra art.
I think the sexualisation being toned down is more about the story’s tone itself changing rather than criticism, tho there was def changes made to fit it. The characters dont have enough time to be horny with everything that was going on in the story, and horikoshi probably realised the story came off better without it. Mineta probably has gotten revisions due to fan reception, but it feels more like he was always intended to change and horikoshi just rushed it and never really explained it other than mina hypnotising him or whatever the hell she did.
Mineta was never a bad person, he was just genuine, and socially ignorant. But even while he was openly sexualising women he never came of as sexist, at least to me, he has a respect for female pro heros as much as he finds them attractive, and consistently takes his female classmates seriously on the battlefield. Like yes he sometimes manipulates a situation to benefit himself (which, again, always ends with him being punished for it) but he still gives them their own agency and doesn’t try to actually control them or belittle them. He comes off as someone who simply…loves women, and that love coupled with a general misunderstanding of socially acceptable responses makes him stupid as fuck.
To finish i guess:
I’m fully in support of people not enjoying the sexualisation of the characters, and how Mineta contributes to that. I am more than aware that I’m indifferent to it at best. Thats a fully valid reason to dislike him! But there are a lot of misunderstandings to do with him, his place in the cast, and the stories intention with him.
I generally agree with you but i thought… maybe you’d think an opposing view would be interesting? Or rather a view coming from someone who liked him from the start?
Honestly i legit know nothing about horikoshi, I’m someone who wants nothing to do with the creators of things outside of their actual work, like that concept of don’t meet your heroes y’know. But as a girl horny about her own characters, i will defend that man’s horniness for his own characters until i die idc.
If you’d like me to explain something better, or tell you my opinion on something i missed feel free to ask i dont mind.
[NOTE: This is long! This is an actual ask about Mineta and among other things that I thought maybe some of you may be interested in reading, but because the font is in orange (due to Tumblr glitching out on Anon and their autism) I'm posting it like this. I'm not too bothered by the color, but I'm sure there are others who may find it unreadable. Now, you do not have to read it. And if you do read it, you may comment or just send me an ask ONLY if you're polite. Don't attack anyone over this. No matter how you may feel about Mineta, BNHA, Horikoshi, a dog, a cat, ANYTHING or ANYONE... DO NOT BE DISRESPECTFUL. Please keep any of your comments that you know are rude to yourself. And now, you may proceed if you choose to.]
Horikoshi said once in some interview that mineta is essentially a self-insert. Coincidentally, early-mha horikoshi had some pretty pervy tendencies (much like mineta—probably why he thought it would be cool to have such a character never really face consequences). The most famous example of this is probably the girls hero costumes, most notably Yaoyorozu. He mentions in an aside very early on in the story (volume three or something?) that he can’t seem to help himself and her boob window always gets bigger every time he draws it. Then there’s uraraka saying she didn’t want such a tight costume, Hagakure being naked, etc. When the anime started airing there was another interview where he said he really appreciated them making uraraka curvier than in the manga, because he likes curvy women. One could also use midnight and mount lady as examples of this but I’d say it’s more of a way of discussing mature themes surrounding hero society and all of its consequences rather than actual sexualisation. Something that sets him apart, even at this early stage, from other shonen mangakas is that he doesn’t only do this to the women, but the men as well. If Yaoyorozus hero costume is revealing, what about kirishimas (this comparison is my favourite because they both need skin showing for their quirks to function well, so why is one considered bad and the other fine? Because one is a boy and one is a girl? Please keep in mind I am not trying to say that kirishima is sexualized. It’s just food for thought)? If urarakas suit is considered too tight, then look at all might. You could probably see the outline of his dick from fifteen yards away when he wears that costume. Then there’s mineta, who makes certain comments regarding the women in his class. But what about mount lady and how she treats shoto? Or one of the wild wild pussy cats asking the boys in class 1-A how old they are to see how long til she can marry them? Unlike basically every other shonen out there, the sexualisation (at least as far as I can tell) is not based in sexism. It’s across the board, and we only notice it more when it happens to women because we are used to it happening to women.
For a long time, I hated horikoshi for the same reasons I hated mineta (it was a love-hate relationship for obvious reasons). He was openly perverted and seemingly one of *those* guys. You know, the ones I’d be afraid to walk near after dark. Or before dark. But I still loved mha and really appreciated what he was doing within the story. As a side note, he writes the women very well, which is rare in shonen (again—love hate relationship with dear old horikoshi). But if you’ll notice, the farther along in the story you look, the less sexualisation there is. It’s gradual so you hardly notice, but compare volume four or five to volume thirty. The difference is stark. It’s not really that mineta has less lines (although since the war started that has been the case) he still talks, just differently.
I think what happened is, when mha started getting popular, horikoshi started seeing huge pushback to minetas character, which probably all came to a head when the anime made him say something super fucked up to eri. I don’t recall if it was in dub or sub or both, but reading back through the manga it’s a bit different and honestly could’ve been poor translation or my own misinterpretation. But in the anime it was clear what he meant. He can’t wait for eri to be older, for exactly the reason you’re thinking now. The process of horikoshi realizing his mistakes started long before this, though, and gradually you can watch him patch up the holes if you pay attention. The anime does a poor job of this, at least until season six. But around the time that season four ends (and this is present in the manga too) there is a scene of Mina tying mineta to a chair and forcing him to watch something. After that, the sexualisation in the manga is gone for good. I’d like to interpret this as horikoshi finalizing his realization and own personal character development. He is no longer pervy, just like mineta is no longer pervy.
The one exception to this rule is that infamous chapter cover. The one with Hagakure on the front? Yeah, when I saw that, it made me rethink all of this. For about two weeks I was convinced that I’d been wrong about it, and he really is just a pervert after all. But lo and behold, he said in an interview that he was running behind and didn’t have time to draw or pick a chapter cover. He handed a bunch of old concept art to one of the higher ups and told them to pick something. He said he was never expecting that drawing to see the light of day, and he figured they’d choose something a little more suited to the story. (A little fucked up that he drew that? Yes, I think so. But keep in mind, these are *old* drawings. People are allowed to change and, following this metric, I think horikoshi has changed quite a bit.)
All of this is to say, mineta is not really a bad person anymore, and also has incredible writing (whether it was purposeful from the beginning or a last minute change) which just goes to show how talented horikoshi really is.
#im extremely anti censorship (ficitonal censorship)#again!!! this post is a general response to everyone using you as a prompt bc i. bad at coming up with points on my own#i think gratuitous sexualisation is distracting and annoying fr fr but most ppl b critising mha sexualising for the most idiotic things#anyway tee hee mineta brain go brrr#love the little guy im so hapoy hes getting real character growth and not random jarring changes#my response boils dont to … theyre anime characters guys calm the hell down#i had a horrific headache the entire time i wrote this rip#i am autistic so i may have sounded condecending or rude somehow but like#im not writing this as a conversation im writing it like an essay#god if this was an essay i would have failed so bad i didnt even use cat peeel tag#ignore my tags

You know, I'm not the type of guy you see in those Instagram reels and pictures how they wear fancy stuff like rings and earrings and tattooed arms and many other things and show off on the internet. No offence to them but it's not me. I'm not the type of guy to share every little bit detail of my life on social media asking for validation if I'm looking handsome or good even. I wake up look in the mirror and appreciate it whatever i have.
I have acene on my cheeks and and dark circles under my eyes. I don't have veiny hands and i don't have muscles they show off. I'm not the type of guy who checks every girl out, flirts and passes comments on whatever kind of clothes they're wearing. I have grown up under very mature eyes and they taught me how to respect women.
I'm not the type if guy who shares every bit of his life with others. I like to be private as possible and work in silence. I believe in respect and loyalty. Either its friendship or relationship. I stand by my friends and my loved ones whenever they need. I'm not the type of who goes party every night or every weekend and drinks too much. Hell, i don't drink and smoke at all. However i could, i chose not to.
I have very simple personality and i don't have ego. My clothing style is simple i don't buy from rich brands and look for something that fits in my budget. I'm extrovert with private life, you dont ask and i don't tell is my thing. I have very few people that i trust blindly and I'll literally do anything for them when the time is right. I know what vibe i give off, what vibes i need.
I can blend in pretty well everywhere but i prefer being in home. I chose silence over loudness. The love and affection i give is so rare i know, and also not everyone deserves it, you have to earn it. I'm not the type who randomly choses someone and showers them my love and affection. If i like you enough, I'll do that by myself. I'm the type of guy who'll make you laugh and smile on your bad days.
I'm the type of guy that won't be in your dreams but standing next to you praying to god for his parent's healthy life. You may think its easy to win me, but it's not. It'll take a lot take a place in my mind let alone my heart. I don't fuck around and play with girl's heart. When i love someone i love them so hard, it may feel like a dream to them. I'm mature and i know who's coming after my mind and who's coming after me just to play with me. I have been hurt and broken, and it did nothing but gave me maturity and i learned how to live.
I'm surrounded by so much good and lovely people i literally don't have time for haters. I know my friends, family and my loved ones loves me to death and accepted me for who i am whatever i am. It is life and up and downs are just part of it, while I'm facing downs i know I'll rise and build the life I've dreamed with my parents. Thank you ♡

Walt Disney Animated Pictures Studios from Worst to Best-Part Six: The Top Ten BEST Disney Fillms
Salutations, random people on the internet who certainly won’t read this! I am an Ordinary Schmuck! I write stories and reviews and draw comics and cartoons.
Here it is: The top ten BEST movies from Walt Disney Animated Pictures Studios. These are the films that are masterpieces, being films that you must see if you’re a true Disney fan. If you don’t like them…that’s fine. But trust me when I say that there are FAR worse movies to hate then these ten. They made it this for for a reason, and let’s find out where they fall, shall we?
#10. Moana-And now we have the movie that perfectly represents the modern age of Disney. It leans even more towards comedy, works harder to perfect CGI animation, and often pokes fun at Disney’s tropes while still embracing them. Sometimes it works, but other times…
…Yeah.
I will say, the biggest strength Moana has is its titular character. She’s still the princess–
“She’s not a princess.”
SHUT UP!
Anyways, she’s still the princess who wants more, but there’s a difference between her and other princesses: She actually does most of the work in saving the day. Sure, Maui (who is also a pretty great character) helps her along the way, but only to teach her the basics of wayfinding. When it comes to actually doing the mission, guess who does most of the heavy lifting. And you can argue all the logistics in calling Moana a Disney Princess, she’s at least the first one I can think of who actually governs her people and genuinely leads them. Can’t really say that about a lot of the other Disney Princesses, who just sit around and waiting. So, while some things…
…don’t work in the slightest, I can at least appreciate Moana for giving us a princess who gets s**t done rather than relying on a big, strong, handsome man to do most of the work for her.
#9. Aladdin-...This is one of my favorite Disney movies. I love its animation with how fluid and expressive it can be, "One Jump Ahead," "Friend Like Me," and "Prince Ali" are some of my favorite Disney songs, and the characters are just so wonderful. Jasmine's probably not the best role model to have, but she still bounces well off of Aladdin for me to look past it. Jafar's motivation is basic, but his personality is so over-the-top that it more than makes up for it. Both Iago and Abu are solid sidekicks, with the late and great Gilbert Gottfried giving a few laughs as Iago. And do I even have to say anything about Robin Williams as the Genie?
But, by far, the best thing about Aladdin is, turns out, Aladdin himself. He's not only one of my favorite characters in the movie, nor my favorite character in a Disney property, but Aladdin is one of my favorite fictional characters. He's someone who gets out of a situation not with his might but with his wits. And I love a hero like that. One how outsmarts a villain rather than outfight them. That right there is a genuine role model to look up to, and I'm all for it.
Aladdin will always hold a special place in my heart. It might not be number one, but only because there's a difference between saying something's the best and something being my favorite. Still, it earns its spot.
#8. Mulan-“But you ranked Pocahontas so low because it was so historically inaccurate! Why is this different?”
THE HISTORICAL INACCURACIES WEREN’T THE PROBLEM AND YOU KNOW IT!
While Disney certainly took some creative liberties, they still remembered one important detail: Mulan is a hero.
Did the real Mulan kill dozens of Hun soldiers with an avalanche and single handedly save the emperor? Probably not. I don’t know jack about history. But, hey, at least the movie recognizes that she was an honorable soldier who did indeed earn the emperor’s favor only to deny the job he offered. Plus, Movie Mulan is an entertaining character even despite certain changes for the film. She worked hard to be a good soldier, was smart enough to outthink a general, and kind and respectable among her men. Now, is it weird that they gave Mushu a little too much influence on this version of Mulan’s journey? Yes. But do you want to know what’s a little less weird and a little more awesome? A “Disney Princess” wielding a sword. I mean, she rarely uses a sword, but it’s still awesome. On that note, it’s actually great how much this movie roots for “girl power” without trying too hard. Mulan isn’t this perfect warrior who wowed everyone the second she joined the army. It took time, effort, and a whole lot of training to do what she did, proving that any young girl could be like her. Everything else can be a bit inaccurate, but that little fact will always be true.
Also, if you’re worried about how China feels about this film, just know that they hate the 2020 remake more. So, you know…take that for what it is.
#7. Tangled-I always forget how funny this movie is. Almost every single moment has me cackling from the great comedic timing, slapstick, expressions, and delivery from…basically every single character in the movie. Everyone has their own comedic quirks that make them hilarious and add so much fun to the film…Except for the King and Queen, who have the most heartbreaking scene that is perfectly illustrated without a single word.
This brings me to another part of Tangled that’s great: the drama. Despite the great humor, there are still some tense and emotional scenes that succeed in getting the right reaction out of me. Mother Gothal, specifically, sells it as being a realistic manipulative kidnapper, who gives me goosebumps with how accurately she deals with Rapunzel like many real life kidnappers would. It makes her a decent threat, while still being well-balanced by her cynical humor. And that’s another thing about Tangled: The comedy and drama are both equally balanced, with neither feeling like they take away from the other. If there’s anything to complain about with Tangled, it’s that the animation is starting to show its age despite it being made in–2010?!
This movie came out in 2010?! I remember seeing it in theaters with my parents and sister! Is this what feeling old feels like?! Am I old now?! F**K!
Ok, well, anyways, this movie’s great. It’s funny and emotional in all the right ways even if the animation isn’t as great as it once was.
Also, yes, I’ve seen the show…it’s not my thing. NEXT!
#6. Wreck It Ralph-The comedy in this movie is hit or miss. There are some good jokes every now and again, but there are many more that just gets me rolling my eyes. But that’s fine because the comedy isn’t what makes the movie special. It’s the characters.
Ralph’s motivation is understandable, even if he does make some pretty risky decisions and a handful of mistakes. He still manages to put things right and, eventually, his heart is in the right place when dealing with Vanellope. Speaking of which, Ralph and Vanellope’s relationship is all kinds of wholesome, making it heartwarming seeing them bond and even heartbreaking seeing them…go through some stuff. They’re a great dynamic duo, and are much more entertaining than Felix and Sergeant Calhoun, who…could have had a relationship that was funny but was overall just…meh. But do you want to know what wasn’t ‘meh?’ The villain. I won’t give away who it is, but Wreck It Ralph is the only case where a Disney Twist Villain was done right. You see hints of who they are and what they’re planning scattered through the movie, to the point that if you paid close attention, the big reveal wouldn’t have been that surprising. Plus, the villain’s pretty funny to boot, both in what they say and how they move.
Overall, Wreck It Ralph is solid. The comedy was a little weak, but the foundations that the characters lay make for a great, standalone movie…That never had a sequel. Shut up.
#5. Lilo and Stitch-Yet another childhood favorite of mine. And, dang it, I can’t name a better movie that fills me with greater joy than Lilo and Stitch. Particularly because of, well, Lilo and Stitch. Both are well-written and well-directed characters that make this movie what it is. Lilo is one of the most accurate child characters in fiction, feeling authentic in her behavior and desires. She wants friends and people to like her, it’s just that, unfortunately, no one understands the things that Lilo likes or just how her mind operates. The only person who understands is Nani, who, despite some frustrations, genuinely cares about Lilo, wanting to do anything and everything to keep her around. Their relationship together not only brings forth some heartwarming moments, but even some compelling drama that hits me where it hurts.
And then there’s Stitch. A character that is equal parts adorable and disgusting, crafty and insane, and even hilarious and heartbreaking. Stitch is the whole package, and the slow build of his loyalty to Lilo is as believable as it is endearing. And with Stitch comes Jumba and Pleakley, who add most of the humor through their failures to capture him as well as dealing with Earth. Some say they take away from the drama with Nani and Lilo, but personally I don’t see it. I’m still invested with what Nani and Lilo are going through despite some cartoonish sci-fi nonsense. If anything, they add more humor, which I’m not going to knock. Not with how much both of them get a chuckle out of me.
I might be biased because this is one of those movies I’ve watched a dozen times as a kid…but I don’t care. I felt nothing but happiness when watching every minute of it, and if a movie can still do that to me all these years later, who am I to complain?
#4. The Lion King-This movie is best described as grandiose. The animation is larger than life, there are some epic set-pieces that are both musical and action packed, and the score is a wonder to the ears. It’s incredible to watch…even though there are some problems to be had. For one, there’s the characters. None of them are bad by any means, but there are a few that get to me a bit. The main source of my issues is Scarr. He was an engaging and terrifying villain with a silver tongue that got him everything he ever wanted, but once he actually gets what he wants, he becomes a wuss AND a bully somehow. Then there’s Timone and Pumba, who are funny…to a point. There are times when they get annoying and you can actually see how they influenced some of the more aggravating comedic animal sidekicks in the worst possible way. Finally, there’s the message, which is a well-intentioned one. It’s good to teach kids that they need to learn from the mistakes they’ve made in the past rather than put those mistakes behind them. The problem is that the lesson falls a little short when Simba doesn’t really make that big of a mistake to own up to. Scarr killed Mufasa. Not Simba. So he really has nothing to own up to other than leaving, which wasn’t really his fault either. It feels weird to rank The Lion King higher than others films, as I’ve seen past and even future Disney movies that have better characters and well executed morals. Yet, with how much work that went into making The Lion King the spectacle that it is, I can’t help but rank it higher. Other films did things better than it, but, eh. Hakuna Mattata, is what I say.
#3. Frozen-”NO!”
Hear me out!
“NO!”
Hear! Me! Out!
Once upon a time, we all loved Frozen. And those who didn’t respectfully agreed that it is worth being loved. But then Disney kept shoving Frozen into our faces and our ears to the point where we all got so gosh dang sick of it, where even those who loved the movie started avoiding it like the plague. Suddenly, a movie that was originally flawless started being remembered more for it’s flaws. For one, Elsa is more of a plot device than an actual character. She isn’t bad, but it’s not a good thing that her big song feels a little empty when there was no real build up to her embracing her wild side. And the movie also has the most infamous Disney Twist Villain to date, having a character that comes with a well intentioned message of not trusting a pretty face, but is horribly executed with how the character acts pre and post the big reveal.
These flaws are brought up a lot…but I still wouldn’t call the movie bad. Because, to tell you the truth, there are more pros than cons to Frozen. The other characters, for example, are actually pretty decent. Anna is adorkably endearing, Kristoph gives a lot of laughs as the film’s straight man, and Olaf…is someone you either love or you hate. Yeah, even I’ll admit he’s the perfect balance of annoying and funny.
As for the story, it is also pretty decent. The best way to describe Frozen as a modernized Disney fairytale. There are still the usual tropes and themes, but also some friendly jabs and a few altercations to make the movie feel like an improvement. Like the running joke about how crazy it is to marry someone you just met or actually making Elsa the first Disney queen instead of a princess. Turns out, queens don’t have to be evil. That’s nice.
And the songs. The songs are all pretty great…except for “Fixer Upper.” It’s…below average. But even then, it’s still catchy enough where it isn’t awful. In fact, none of the songs are awful. Yes, even the one that makes you want to shove an ice pick into your ears. “Let It Go” is beautiful in the way that it’s orchestrated, sung, and sometimes even animated, getting a genuine smile on my face when I heard it. And, admit it: Before you heard it everywhere you went, there was a time when you replayed that song over and over again, just because you willingly wanted to hear it. Maybe the song is a little empty due to Elsa’s character, but it’s still wonderful to hear and a spectacle to see.
Which brings me to another reason why Frozen’s great: The spectacle. There was so much effort into making this movie the grand film that it is that I honestly can’t hate it. It’s the same with The Lion King. There are probably better written movies in Disney’s line up…but I can’t help but rank Frozen higher for how much it amazes me. It might be a bit weird, but do you want to know what I say to that? Let it go…
Though, admittingly, there’s one thing better than spectacle. And that’s spectacle with substance.
#2. Encanto-I believe there are three things we all love about Disney: The music, the animation, and the characters. With Encanto, it checks off every one of those boxes and THEN some.
This just might be Disney’s best musical to date. The songs are all incredible, having so much life within them, making each one really stand out as incredible and addicting. Most musicals, especially ones made by Disney, tend to have one, maybe two songs that’s a bit skippable, but that’s not really the case with Encanto. I can listen to and watch every song in the movie and still have a fun time with each one as they’re orchestrated, sung, and choreographed to perfection. It’s also the choreography that should get more attention, as everyone and everything moves to the beat of each song so well that it just makes me smile throughout all of it. The animators even had a whole dance number to use as a reference when animating “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” making it even more of a sight to see.
Speaking of, the animation is just gorgeous. This is a time when Disney really nailed the CGI animation, having fluid movements and wild expressions that makes Encanto a blast to watch. The character designs are also where the movie shines, as everyone in the main cast looks unique while still looking like a family. There are physical features that show how they’re all related, such as sharp chins and types of hair, but other features and clothing help illustrate who they are. Like Abuela Alma, who’s stiff stature and dark clothing help make her look like a stereotypical Disney villain, which not only works for her character but there’s also a good reason for it, making her seem more sympathetic than apathetic.
As for the characters themselves, they’re all really great. Most of them are mildly entertaining, while others have this vulnerability and tragedy to their characters, with Mirabel being the best example of it. She wants so badly to have this one thing. This one understandable, even relatable, desire that Mirabel so desperately goes about to obtain. And when she got it, I genuinely cried tears of joy. That’s right, Encanto is the first and only movie not to make me cry because I was sad, but because I was happy. And that’s because I felt such a connection to these characters that seeing them get what they want makes me so happy that I cry. That is powerful.
And that’s not even mentioning the great themes of generational trauma, the consequences of being considered gifted, and how you yourself are a miracle, a gift, and…GOSH DANGIT, watch this movie!
Study this movie!
Love this movie, because it really is something special. If I had to complain about anything, it’d be that I wish we had more time to spend with the rest of the family. But if the biggest problem with Encanto is that I want more of it, that’s hardly an issue. I love every aspect of it, and it’s easily Disney’s best film…Film, to be precise.
#1. Fantasia-You see, Fantasia isn’t a movie. It’s a work of art.
Do you want to know what my favorite thing to do on YouTube is? Look up fan-made animatics to songs and see what these many artists can come up with. That's basically Fantasia. Seeing artists listen to songs and offer the perfect visuals that go perfectly with them. And the results are glorious, with only one or two sections going on just a little too long. In the end, it still all comes down to a fantastic movie that shows why Disney is at the top of the animation industry. They do more than make wonderful movies and characters. They make art. Art that can be appreciated at any age, whether you're a child or an adult. There are slip-ups, here and there, don't get me wrong. But when the right people are behind the right film, you'll get what is undoubtedly a masterpiece.
And that’s why it’s so easy to hate Disney as a company. They focus more on making a successful business and less on making art. Why change the game when you can buy the things people love? That’s certainly the mindset nowadays, and it really is damaging the entertainment industry as a whole. But, every now and again, you’ll have someone who fought with every fiber of their being to make a movie that fits with the Disney that they remember. The studio where the goal was to break boundaries on animation and make something everyone can love. Not just a movie people can put on because there’s nothing better to watch. Hopefully, we’ll get more art that proves Disney hasn’t completely lost its magic just yet.

Noe x Male!Reader
⚠️Warnings: Mentions of SA, hurt/comfort, Use of Darling (not by Noe), Male Reader, Short etc
Masterlist
'Why am I companions with him again?' Noe thought, staring at the black haired man in front of him with nothing but a blank expression. He noticed that Vanitas had his eyes closed, shaking around a glass of lord knows what, and so Noe took his leave and walked away.
He wondered where you went. The beautiful young man who he had been drawn to without fail. You were handsome, attractive, gorgeous, and everything else that hinted at the person being a godsend. Though tonight, he had noticed the discomfort you hid, so his next move was to find you. He felt a pang in his heart when he first notice the very unnoticeable (though he was admiring his beloved so obviously he saw) look that described 'why am I here?'
He searched through the sea of people in the ballroom, making sure to analyze every single person as to be sure he wouldn't miss you. After a little, he ended up finding you and was just about to call out before he noticed another person's hand on your shoulder. That seemed to set off a few alarms in him.
Now, you were panicking internally. "Hey pretty boy~" A warm, disgustingly close voice whispered. You felt yourself tense up. Is this what you get for wanting a drink. "You look ravishing. Are you alone?"
"N-"
"No, he isn't. Is this person bothering you?" Noe asked, coming up with a hand on the man's shoulder.
The man hadn't given even a second for you to answer, instead countering with, "What? And who the hell are you? Darling, please let this man know you are alright." The man scoffed, growing angry rather fast.
You shook your head. "I... Know this person. And please don't call me darling..."
"But darling, you are so pretty it suits you~" The man continued, moving lower.
Noe had it. He flipped the man over his shoulder and glared, stance as calm as could be. "He said stop. So quit it. Go away before I make a real scene." He said sternly, scaring the whimpering man off.
You sighed in relief, smiling lightly yet still shaken up greatly. This wasn't the first time and you doubted it'd be the last. You understood greatly that you were a very handsome and attractive person, though people like that boy had made you hate the body you were in.
Noe came up to you, placing a gentle hand on your head. "Please do not be so solemn. Sha'll we go to the sleeping quarters? I'll take care of you there." He declared softly, bringing the hand on your head to your waist and using his other to cup your cheek gently.
You nodded, placing your hand atop his. "Please."
Once there, he ran a warm bath for you, adding in stress oils and bath bombs in order to make it pleasurable. Also adding in flower petals just for extra pizzaz.
He knocked on the doorframe to the room you recided in. "It's done. I even got the tea ready."
"You shouldn't have." You smiled up at him.
"Anything for my lovely prince." He smiled back.
You blushed lightly and made your way to the bathroom. "Would you help me? Or at least stay in my comfort?"
He blushed lightly but nodded nonetheless. "Of course." And with that he followed, ready to give you as much love and comfort as you needed through sensual touches and comforting massages.

Jungkook x y/n (as a famous artist) Pt.4
pairing: reader x Jungkook
genre: fluff, romance, for entertainment purposes
BTS x Fem Reader
synopsis: You are a popular artist in America, pretty famous, loved and well-known by the general public (actually you were one of the top 10 artists in the world but you are pretty humble and naïve to realize your popularity), one day during one of your fan meets you talk about how much you love BTS, and not only how you wish to meet them and work with them but how Jungkook is one of your celebrity crushes. During the meet you fangirled with other ARMYs in the crowd; video clips of you fangirling and talking about BTS at your meet where posted and reposted all over social media. This obviously broke the internet because you were not only a famous singer but you also were always accepted and loved by ARMY and this made a lot of people happy. Suddenly it felt like everyone wanted you to meet the seven handsome and talented idols and collaborate, but you could only wish, you believed they didn't even know who you were...or so you thought
Parts: 1 here, 2 here, 3 here
----
Part 4 - Hotel? Trivago.
you started to sing and suddenly you heard a voice behind you singing with you, and you couldn’t even turn around to prove you were not mistaken, you knew that voice too well, the live audience was losing it, the crew looked excited, you went numb, you looked back and it seemed like a joke, a complete dream…..
The seven guys were coming out from behind the curtain, being led by Jungkook, he was singing the bridge of the song, mic in hand and just looking at you. Your knees gave out and you curled on your knees as you cried on your knees, ‘there is no way’, you could even begin to process what was going on, The boys were a little shy and stayed behind you as Jimmy lifted you from the floor and made you look at them.
Once you could stand up/being held up by Jimmy, RM was the first to approach you, they all introduced themselves and after they bowed their heads out of respect and you did the same, you looked at them in awe. Then they greeted Jimmy too. Jungkook signaled you to keep singing the last part of the song and as a professional singer you did. You picked up your singing almost at the end of the song: “kkumeul geonneoseo supul neometro, seonmyeonghaejineun geu goseuro ga” holding the mic with to hands trying to hide your shaking hands Jungkook standing next to you to the left and the guys with Jimmy around the both of you; you lifted one hand from the mic and showed it to the closest people to your right which were Jimin, V and Jimmy; and just as you put it up to show how shaky it was Jungkook took your hand as he sang: “Take my hands now, You are the cause of my euphoria.” You really looked at him for the first time ever, you had never seen him in person before…. Your eyes met each other for a split second.
The guys, Jimmy, the crew, the audience, everyone cheered and squealed at this little interaction; you both blushed and dropped each other's hands. You turned back to hide your face covering your mouth as you got teary eyes. The guys near Jungkook hit him and teased him due to his ‘out of the blue’ confidence. He was normally more shy when it came to interactions with strangers, especially if it was with women. But even Jungkook seemed surprised at himself; he blushed too, but kept going. You both finished the song, harmonizing perfectly, facing each other, but avoiding his eyes, you felt so vulnerable looking at his eyes.
They all applauded once you finished and they cut to a commercial break. The guys were taken by crew members to get mic'd up, and Meg once again for the third time tonight fixed your appearance. They went back from break and sat on the couch next to Jimmy, they made a space for you in the middle of the guys, and you took a seat with trembling limbs as the ‘back from commercials’ music played and the audience cheered.
On the main couch sat RM nearest to the desk, then you to his right, Jungkook next to you and Suga on the end of the medium couch; behind you V, Jimin J-Hope and Jin sat on higher chairs all facing the front. Jimmy spoke “so I heard you introduced yourselves o y/n in english with the help of RM, but she can actually speak Korean. Y/n why don’t you introduce yourself?” They all turned to you from all angles; “Oh i'm so sorry; RM was so kind to translate when they introduced themselves, I didn't want to seem rude by interrupting him, but sure um-” you switched to korean and looked around you to the boys “Hello, my name is y/n, I am so pleased to meet you all, it's a dream come true, please take good care of me” The guys immediately made small comments at your cute Korean accent, “aww so cute” “wow you are good” “cute” even though a Korean person could probably tell Korean was was not your first language due to the accent difference, you where really good at it.
“So I wanted to ask the guys a couple of questions too, thank you guys for coming, it's always a pleasure to have you all.” Jimmy said, after this he introduced them to the audience and gave them a proper introduction. Jimmy proceeded to catch up with the guys, asking them questions too; you helped RM translate too, which made the interview run smoother, you were making the guys laugh with your small contributions (by adding comments or opinions in Korean). During this time Jungkook and you were sitting so close to each other, you could see eachother out of the corners of your eyes, you were each other's celebrity crushes after all.
After a while you started loosening up and getting more comfortable; this was part of your personality, you were known to be a social butterfly, so even though this was a dream come true and you couldn’t stop crying like 15 mins ago; your body knew this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and that there is no time to be all shy and quiet. You got looser, bolder, and more confident, actually showing your real personality, the personality the boys knew you like from your videos and social media. (and the personality that made Jungkook so drawn to you in the first place.) Your change in personality even made the boys less stiff and more relaxed too.
After the catch up with the guys you all stood up to play another one of Jimmy’s famous show games/challenges/activities. “So now that you all are more comfortable with each other let’s play a game, this game is called ‘Guess The Jam’, Basically we will play a song and like earlier you have to dance to it; the difference this time is that the dancer will be wearing headphones and others have to guess the song they are dancing too by just judging the dance moves.
Y/N will be dancing to BTS songs and BTS is going to dance to y/n songs, yes?” You were now standing WITH them instead of next to them/distant from them, you all seemed like you bonded. “yes” “Let’s GO!” “I got it”.
Again the game was a success you danced to multiple songs and they all guessed their title by your dancing to all of the songs that had been assigned to you; and you were so impressed at the seven grown a*s men, dancing perfectly to random songs of yours, you guessed most of them, but you got distracted at times form the hilarious scene in front of you. *J-Hope trting really hard to coordinate everyone in seconds to make the dance clear, they eventually would give up and dance their hearts out*, leaving you with no other choice but to TRY and guess what the hell they were dancing to.
At some point the maknae line (V/Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook) made you dance with them to some of the songs (IDOL, Boy with luv, Burning up, etc) while the hyungs cheered you guys on, and also while J-Hope recorded you four like you were his children dancing at a school show.
You all took a break after the dance segment and went to freshen up while Jimmy did another sponsorship. You changed back to your Fancy outfit and Meg AGAIN, for the millionth time tonight fixed your image, your team/crew would hype up and get all supportive since BTS arrived, telling you you were doing great, and how this was your dream come true, etc. You thanked your manager too, every time you briefly saw him during the ‘touch up moment’, then you went back to the studio couch with the boys in the same order you were sitting before.
You didn't notice but Jungkook looked at you in awe as you came out with a different outfit, the guys had been watching the whole show up to the point where they surprised you backstage, meaning he had seen the outfit before, but the view in person was different; he proved his hypothesis to be right...you truly lighted up a room the minute you walked in it. He composed himself, he was being shy and quiet while you were showing a more inviting and relaxed vibe. (Pfft he had no idea you were still shi*ting your pants hahaha).
“So y/n and I talked about this earlier; she is going to be performing tomorrow for the Billboard awards, and I hear that you guys will also be performing. Is that true? RM was about to translate to the guys and then answer Jimmy, but you handled it and translated Jimmy’s question to the guys for him, letting him answer comfortably; sometimes he could have a hard time during interviews in english because he had to constantly translate for the guys; this little gesture meant so much to him. “Yeah, we too are going to be performing tomorrow, we are really excited and thankful for the opportunity, and we are also excited to watch the whole award show too,” RM said. They were also nominated and were going to watch the show, you got a little excited your were going to see them again tomorrow, even if you knew you probably were only going to be able to see them on stage due to how hard it was actually to ‘hang out’ with other celebrities on award shows due to the different schedules and hectic environment. Nevertheless you were trying to enjoy your little burst of confidence and take in every moment right now with the guys; you knew your friendship would probably last only for today. (a/n oHhH muahahah u thought y/n)
--------
The Jimmy Fallon Show was a complete success, the plan worked, your team and BTS’s team with the help of Jimmy were able to surprise you guys; the timing worked because you were both in the same place due to the billboard awards and your performances.
After the show you even hung out a little with them before you all had to go. The chemistry between you and the guys was unbelievable, it seemed like you guys had been close friends all this time.
RM and you bonded over speaking english, even teasing others by speaking english and not translating back for them; Suga and you had bonded over producing music, you both talked about how the process is for the both of you, and he even said he would love to work with someone like you (even though he was normally a more chill, cold person to strangers, he immediately felt comfortable to show you his warmer side, that’s your charm); J-Hope and you bonded over dance, you both ‘fangirled’ about each others’ skills, you too both agreed that working with each other in the future would be so cool; Jin and you seemed like siblings I swear, he too is normally more shy when it comes to one-on-one interactions with strangers but due to your boldness, you immediately bonded by teasing each other, he would also try and make you cringe with cheesy Korean dad jokes, but you always had another cringier joke to fight back with; Let’s just say you passed Taehyung’s vibe check, he really likes your personality and you met all his expectations of you, he was not disappointed, out of all of the guys you had the quickest bond with him, he now even has a nickname for you and you too also start to call him ‘Tae Tae’ after just a couple hours of meeting; Jimin struggled a little at first to approach you, he was really fangirling over you once the cameras were cut, but you approached him and made him feel comfortable, he then immediately loosened up and bonded over your similar personalities, it was like hanging out with a literal different version of yourself, you even already had inside jokes with him too; and Jungkook…. oh Jungkook, you guys seemed to fit so well, in the little time you both hung out you were making each other cry laugh, you had small conversations about music, dance, about your cultural differences, he even said that if you ever went to Korea, he would like to show you around his favorite places, but every time you guys would chat with each other or literally by just existing next to each other, the guys would act weird and either make small comments and noises to tease you, or try and give you space in the small dressing room by standing up from the couch and dashing to the corner of the room (again imagine six grown men huddled in the corner trying to act ‘natural’ when Jungkook only handed you a bottle of water that was brought in by a crew member).
It was crazy how quick you all created this friendship, the guys had already talked amongst themselves and agreed that no matter what, they would really care for this friendship and that they would do everything in their power to keep you in their lives (Suga said that he was down to kidnap you from america and take you to South Korea in case you all became distant).
You were currently sitting in their dressing room chatting, basically getting to know them and them getting to know you (y'all were having some deep conversations) you also learned you were staying in the same hotel and that the next day you all had rehearsals at the same time for your performances, you compared your schedules and they seemed to match up for the most part. In conclusion you were staying at the same hotel, had rehearsals at 8:00 am in the same location the next day, and you guys wanted to hang out a little more.
Your managers came in to tell you that the cars were ready to take you to the hotel, you got a little sad you had to leave them for the ride back, but their manager said “Oh, y/n, you get to choose who you want to travel back with, we canceled your car so that you could drive back with the boys” you smiled from ear to ear and quickly introduced yourself to the bilingual man in charge of managing the guys behind you who were currently fighting over who you got to ride back to the hotel with.
-------
Due to the fact that no one wanted to be left out riding back without you, you where currently eight adults...packed tightly into a small van on the back seats. Both of your teams/staffs watched as you all tried to get in the van, like children (screaming, pushing, laughing) they didnt know if they should find this cute/funny or drag you all into separate vans once and for all.
“Dude I can feel your fuc*ing hair IN MY NOSE, move” Suga spoke, “Whose hand is that, ey they getting friendly” Tae said, as a joke you said “That’s my hand, my bad” making everyone laugh. “Jimin you know, you are not so light weighted, I need blood circulation” Jin commented, “Oy aren't you sitting too close to y/n kookie? If something happens I’m taking y/n’s side.” You all laughed, it was true tho, you were basically on top of Jungkook but weren't you all ‘TOO CLOSE’ to each other? I mean- 3 seats for 8 adults? It definitely defied the laws of physics but it worked out.
The ten minute ride to the hotel was interesting; the first 5 minutes were silent, after 2 minutes you asked for the radio, but it was broken, after 2 more minutes you could faintly hear Jin’s moaning out in pain as he was being suffocated; due to the weird sounds he was making, the context and your ‘dirty minded heads’ you and JK burst out laughing, making the others infected with your laughter, this until you arrived.
Once you were at the hotel, your teams made you stand like disobedient children in a line ‘soldier style’ while they arranged the room situations. (you had stayed at a different hotel in the afternoon due to its closeness to the Jimmy fallon set and due to the fact you only used it to nap and shower, but this hotel was closer to where the billboard awards where and to where your rehearsals were so this was your temporary home for now, aslo your team had to rent a lot of rooms for the 20 or so people traveling with you. BTS had to do the same)
While the keys were being activated one of the BTS staff members started to ask the guys for their room service orders, so the kitchen could start making them; your manager’s assistant also took your order and while you were busy choosing your dinner, the maknae line had an idea...
Once you finished ordering Tae and Jungkook interlocked their arms with yours tightly and Jimin spoke to staff: “Excuse me could you please be so kind to send all of our meals to Jin’s room, (turning to YOUR staff he again spoke in broken english) y/n would also like her dinner to be sent to Jin’s room, than you all, gudnait”,
While Jungkook and V dragged you, Jimin bowed to the staff and followed you. Suga was cry-laughing at your cruising while being dragged away, he lifted one of your dragging legs up and RM followed him, lifting the other leg. J-hope started recording the whole ordeal. Jin was following them as he suddenly realized... “Oi why does it always have to be my room? I always end up smelling like steak '' he kept following anyway.
Your manager speeded up and walked next to your now lifted body and told you to have fun and to go to your room early to be responsible and not stay up so late for tomorrow’s early rehearsals (cute scene: without putting you down the boys stopped and lowered you a little so that you could say good night to Sam and he could kiss your forehead, they they lifted you back up)
You arrived at Jin's assigned hotel room and the guys comfortably all spread around the room; you walked in a little shy because you had never hung out like this with anyone, plus you didn't know what to do…. Jin was the last one to walk in and he put his arm around you encouraging you to walk in with him, he even pushed Jimin off the bed so you could sit there and he took the desk chair while you all waited for the food. You all had dinner in Jin’s room, sitting on the floor and drinking wine (Jin and Jimin insisted on having alcohol) you were having so much fun. After dinner you all kept drinking while playing drinking games with the tiny alcohol bottles hotels provide.
It was really really REALLY past your bedtimes; just analize with me: if the Jimmy Fallon show ended at 12:00am and you guys got to the hotel at around 12:30, you had dinner, played games, drank, etc.; imagine what time it is currently….
You all were at least little tipsy by now, RM spoke to everyone: “Guys-ss we should probably go back to our rooms, wE hAve to be aWake and readY to gOooooo. for tomorrow..” even though he was all sloppy and slow form the alcohol he was still following his ‘leader’ role. Everyone drunkenly cleaned up Jin's room and stood up to leave to head to your rooms. Out of everyone in here, you and Jungkook were the least drunk; not because you drank less, but apparently you both were better at handling alcohol than the others.
JK offered to walk you to your room because even if you weren't super drunk you were still a little sloppy (which he was too) and your team had rented the floor under so he didn’t want to leave you alone to find your way (you found this so cute, no one had ever treated you like this, he was a true gentleman).
Obviously the guys teased when you both walked together in the same direction, you just kept walking, making small talk. Once the elevator arrived on your floor you thought JK would ride the elevator back, but he insisted on making sure you were safe inside your room before he left. You walked through the hall, heels in your right hand and Jungkook walking to your left. You suddenly passed by a clear door that showed outside to a terrazze (basically used for smokers, but other people could use it too) and not thinking it through you took JK’s hand and walked outside.
It was a warm night and the terrazze was pretty dark-ish and small, but the view was beautiful; the night sky contrasting the bright lights form the buildings’ skyline. You looked at the view, mesmerized by it, Jungkook could only look at you, he thought you looked too beautiful and as you tightly held on to the railing looking out wide eyed at the pretty lights.
You turned to him and realized he was looking at you, you analyzed his face thinking: ‘waw he is the most handsome man I have ever seen’ as you looked into his eyes, even through your tipsy state you realized >OMG I'M STANDING OUT HERE WITH JUNGKOOK, THE. JUNGKOOK., FUC*K, I PROBABLY LOOK LIKE SHIT DAMMIT, WAIT THIS IS MY CELEBRITY CRUSH, WHAT DO I DO
You seemed to be getting physically closer and closer to eachother, he was looking down at you in such an adoring way, but in his head he was also thinking…> OMG I'M STANDING OUT HERE WITH Y/N, THE. Y/N., FUC*K, I PROBABLY LOOK LIKE SHIT DAMMIT, WAIT THIS IS MY CELEBRITY CRUSH, WHAT DO I DO , but even though you were BOTH freaking out, the two of you knew this was a once in a lifetime opportunity, having someone so special to you, like this, in front of you…
You were now standing inches away from each other's faces, “hi…” you said, almost whispering as you smiled sweetly at him, looking from his eyes to his lips.
“Hi” Jungkook said in a raspy almost sleepy tone, smiling with his teeth and suddenly dropping his smile back down as he followed your eyes; he wanted to close the space between you two, but he didn't want to do anything that would make you uncomfortable or think of him differently.
You were the first to speak, breaking eye contact and looking at his chest. “Um, could I, if it’s not too weird, um- put...my arms around you?” you immediately regretted it; what if he didnt understand your Korean, what if you translated it wrong in your head before saying it outloud what if-.... A small chuckle coming from in front of you stopped your train of thought, Jungkook put his hand under your chin and lifted your face to look at him again; he took your arms and placed them around his neck; he then put his hands on your waist, but loosened his hold and asked if you were okay with that and you nodded.
You both stared at each other’s eyes; you both fit so perfectly in each other's arms you felt so comfortable. The tension could be cut with a knife, you looked back at his lips and he did too; getting closer, you could feel his breathing on your face, you both closed your eyes and barely touched your lips together when his phone went off for the millionth time startling you, you both separated your faces and looked wide-eyed at the other, a tint of blush on your cheeks… you kissed him, he kissed you, even though it was the tiniest, shortest, lightest kiss in the history of kisses you both felt happy about it. When you realized you two had the same expression on your faces you both laughed, you had never been this comfortable with a man before, specially in such a short period of time.
His phone ket going off and off, “My phone has been ringing for so long now hahaha, since we left the elevator it has rung, but I didn't want to answer and um- you know… I don't want to answer and not be focused on you” he said as you both took a step back from each other and as he answered the 37th call after ignoring other 36 calls.
“PFFfffft ohhhhh he answered, hi guki, um ahahaha shut the fAq uP Tae ahahahah um…. we….. can't get into our rooms'' you could hear the snickers and slow words through the phone, you and Jungkook still felt a little numb and sloppy from the alcohol, how could they be so drunk?.
“Hyung… ugh fine, i’ll be there don’t go anywhere, nobody move, okay?” he hung up and humorously sighed, he would normally find this situation to be hilarious but the fact that he had to interrupt a once in a lifetime moment with his celebrity crush so that he could help his older brothers….dam.
You chuckled at his reaction, you picked the heels from the ground and boldly kissed him on the cheek, you walked in front of him to head inside, knowing how caring he was to his friends; but before you could go inside Jungkook stopped you by taking your hand, “I know this is an embarrassing question but if I don't do this now I may never be able to have this opportunity again…”
You were still facing the door, your hand in his hand behind your back; frozen from anticipation of what he might say next.
“Can I um-, *deep inhale* can I kiss you one more time before you go?” you immediately turned around (and this might be the alcohol working it’s magic but you thought ‘he is right, if this was someone else you probably wouldn't have kissed them first day after meeting meeting them, but this was Jungkook, your ‘platonic crush’ from the other side of the world, what if after this weekend you never saw each other again?’)
Dropping your heels, and letting go of his hand you wrap your hands around his neck, pulling him in to you and kissing him; you both smiled against each other's lips form the sudden butterflies in your stomach and happiness you felt. He pulled you even closer with one hand on the side of your face and the other on your hip, then he wrapped his arms around your torso and you put your arms around his neck holding each other tighter.
This was no ‘take me now’ R-rated kiss at all; it was a more soft, intimate, sweet kiss. You let go and hugged each other one last time on that terrazze; normally you both didn't really like the whole “corny lovey dovey” scene, so once you let go you both chuckled at your cheesy moment. You walked back inside with him to look for your hotel room, he even asked if he could hold your hand while walking down the hall, you laughed a little at him and took his hand confidently. You remembered your manager told you your room was 456B when the boys were dragging you at the entrance. You finally arrived at the door, you turned to look at Jungkook and thanked him with a warm genuine smile; he leaned down and kissed the side of your mouth and smiled back and said goodnight with his bunny smile. :,)
You turned around and turned the handle to open the door, it didn't open… and something finally clicked in that drunken little head of yours…. SAM NEVER GAVE YOU THE FUC*ING ROOM KEY… you felt like panicking, it was almost 5:30 am, you had to be awake in 2.5 hours for rehearsals and you had nowhere to sleep, instead of crying you laughed, you burst out laughing; Jungkook covered your mouth and leaned over you with your back against the door; he was looking around with a quiet giggle to make sure you didn't wake anyone up.
“ahhh *small giggle* ahh um yeah I would normally just cry in these situations but I- I don’t have a key… Sam didn't give me one” Jungkook was about to come up with a plan to solve this but you knew what he was going to say: “The front desk won’t open that room for me because it is not registered under my name, for security reasons; Two they can’t give me another room because I need my card and ID to get one and I only have my phone with me; Three, I can’t wake up sam or anyone in my team because A. it isn’t their fault and I would be disrupting their sleep, B. I will get in trouble because Sam told me to come back early, and C…. idk but I wanted to say ‘and C’ ” you said, Jungkook looked down at you and couldn’t help but laugh at you. “Hey don’t make fun of me, it’s not my fault” you poked his chest. He stopped, “No, I’m not laughing at you, the guys have a similar problem apparently what a coincidence” he answered. The both of you decided to go see the guys first before trying to figure out what to do, together, as a team of 8 drunk heads.
When you arrived on the top floor, there they where, 5 drunk BTS members in front of you; RM was leaning over a hallway wall talking to ‘nothing’ as if he was practicing how to flirt with an invisible person; J-Hope was passed out in fetal position on the floor; Suga was cry laughing rolling on the floor while also trying to click the camera button on his phone as he wobbled back and forth clicking on everything but the camera icon; Jimin was standing still, phone still in his ear, he looked at a statue (remember Kookie said on the phone with Jimin ‘nobody move, okay?’ well Jimin hadn’t moved ever since Jungkook hung up the phone); Tae was literally in the middle of performing some sort of strip/circus/magic/dance show for Suga when they realized you two standing there they composed themselves “what… the hell? hahahahahha, what happened?” You laughed out loud and Jungkook immediately covered your mouth, he quietly giggled as he had done this exact thing minutes ago too.
In summary, once Jin waved everyone off he went into his room, that's why he is not here; Suga struggled to find his key but eventually found it in his suit jacket and was able to go into his room, he barely spent one minute in there when RM knocked at the door and told Suga that he had no idea where is room was, the keys where not numbered, so Suga said ‘I can help you’ and went out to the hallway to help him but even Suga was confused as to how HE found his room so he told RM don’t worry, sleep in my room and tomorrow the staff can help you, when he turned around to open the door Suga realized he left the key inside. J-Hope had passed out in Jin’s room and Jin had said it was okay for him to stay in his room, but J-Hope had woken up and said good night and walked out so Jin though he was all good and on his way safely to his room...WRONG, J-hope gave up 5 steps down the hall and said ‘i need rest, here floor *thump*’ and dropped on the ground; Taehyung didn’t even know he had a room for himself, so he definitely he has no idea where his room was supposed to be; and Jimin did know where his key was and room, but it apparently was deactivated, but seeing how everyone was up here he opted to not go get it reactivated, he didn’t want to be left out.
Jungkook started losing it, cry-laughing at his friends; this time you humorously covered his mouth like he did to you, as you tried to think of a solution. BINGO, you rang Jin’s door insistently until he opened up. Once he opened the door with sleepy eyes he analized the scene behind you and your hand covering the youngest member’s mouth he sighed, allowing you all inside his room.
All of you knew you had less than 3 hours to sleep and actually do a good job tomorrow so everyone took up a spot to rest. In the bed J-hope and Jin slept comfortably; Suga fell asleep sitting down on the desk chair; Tae slept in the bathroom’s bathtub; RM threw himself on the tiny couch for two with his arms and legs hanging out from the sides; you sat on the floor leaning against the wall, Jimin used your leg as a pillow and Jungkook sat next to you, he actually did have his hotel key with him and knew his room was literally the one next to this one, but he wanted to be where you where. You both also fell asleep sitting leaning against the wall.

Temptation (Taehyung)
Ceo Au! Suggestive smut (he’s crouched under ur desk and :)) (smut will be in future chapters) Angst (later) 3181 Words Chapter 1.
“Good morning.” Taehyung simply greeted before disappearing into his office.
It was enough to get all the women in the lobby immediately shooting each other knowing glances because not only was Taehyung the company’s CEO, but he was a very handsome one at that too. His polite demeanour and respectful nature only contributed to his desirability. Due to everyone’s unanimous acknowledgement of Taehyung’s appeal, there seemed to always be some sort of competition for his attention. Whether it was to drop something off for him in his office or offer him leftover donuts, his deep voice thanking you followed by his infectious smile was all worth it. Taehyung being new to the company only made the competition over him more fierce. He had taken over the position from a now old and retired gentleman and because he had no idea what the personality of each individual in the office was truly like, it was all fair game.
She definitely would’ve been lying if she said she didn’t have some sort of crush on Taehyung but it was all physical and surface level. He was her boss after all and she only saw him for a few minutes each day. They’ve barely exchanged more than a handful of words to each other in the month of his takeover.
“Jesus...did you see his arms? They’re suffocating in that button up.” Jisoo, her colleague commented.
“You’re drooling,” she teased, “besides, you should be worrying about your meeting today and not about whether or not blood is circulating through his arms.”
Jisoo scoffed and pushed herself off of the reception desk.
“Don’t remind me,” Jisoo groaned, “it doesn’t help that Taehyung’s going to be sitting in for that meeting too. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get through anything without puking.”
The two of them continued to talk and catch each other up on what they did over the weekend before Jisoo eventually had to go back to her desk. She watched as her colleague walked away and felt a twinge of jealousy within herself. For someone like Jisoo to get nervous despite being pretty, charismatic and the office favourite was a slap to her self esteem. Jisoo also held a high position within the HR department while she was just a measly receptionist. She definitely wasn’t going to stay in this position forever but the job paid well and would suffice for now.
As the clock inched closer to everyone’s starting time, the lobby began clearing up as people went to their respected department. After a few minutes, she was left alone to man the front all by herself. She stared at the closed office doors surrounding her and felt another pang of envy in her heart knowing that people behind those doors were doing far more important work than her. Her days consisted of sorting through mail, sending emails, transferring calls and light house duties. She tried to convince herself that it wasn’t all bad because at least she could surf the internet whenever she wanted without anyone monitoring her. Her eyes traveled towards Taehyung’s door and she wondered how he was adjusting to everything before an email notification needed her attention.
With it being Monday and the meeting Jisoo was talking about earlier being held today, it was quite busy. She usually had an hour of free time before her lunch break but the emails had been nonstop. People kept revising their forms and asking her to print out multiple copies of the revised papers to the point where the printer just stopped working altogether for a scary moment. With it being so busy, she decided to stay at her desk for lunch today. She was buried so deep in her computer work that Taehyung’s presence had gone unnoticed. He needed a break from staring at his screen all day and decided to go explore the office. In the month that Taehyung transferred over, he had no time to go around introducing himself or making himself familiar with the space. His decision to finally become accustomed to his environment brought him in front of her desk. The unusually loud crinkling from the untouched candy jar she left out for everyone broke her focus. She looked up to see her boss struggling with how small the jar was.
“Do...do you need help?” she finally asked.
Up close, Taehyung’s visuals had her feeling shy and flustered like a high school girl sitting next to their crush. Taehyung seemed just as surprised to hear her voice as his movements came to a halt and he pulled his hand out of the candy jar sheepishly.
“Sorry,” he apologized while rubbing the back of his neck, “I realized I must’ve looked really stupid.”
She waved his doubts away and took the jar from him. She tried her very best to seem unfazed and collected but the red tint in her cheeks and her inability to stop smiling so wide probably gave her away.
“The um...” Taehyung cleared his throat before continuing, “the watermelon flavour please.”
After a few seconds of sifting through the numerous options, she found the one he wanted. Taehyung opened his hand and she almost laughed at how tiny the candy looked in his gigantic palm. Her amusement didn’t stop at his physicality but shifted towards his entire personality. When she first met Taehyung, she was beyond intimidated. She couldn’t look at him for too long without feeling like he was looking right through her. Taehyung carried himself with an air of confidence and always had an answer for everyone, as expected of a competent CEO. She wasn’t nervous around him because he was scary but because his presence was so large and full while she was so small compared to him. But having him stand before her enjoying a piece of watermelon flavoured candy with an innocent smile on his face was just so...unexpected.
“Is this your lunch break?” Taehyung asked noticing her untouched sandwich sitting beside her keyboard.
She looked where he was and let out a forced laugh at her pathetic set up.
“Yeah I didn’t have time to properly take a break today.” she explained.
The reason she was eating at her desk suddenly occurred to her and her eyes traveled over to her inbox which was now at double digits. With only an hour before the big meeting today, she was already behind despite only talking to Taehyung for five minutes.
“Sorry Taehyung I have to get back to work,” she sighed running a hand through her hair, “is there anything else I can do for you?” she asked looking at him for a quick second before going back to her monitor.
Taehyung watched as she worked and wondered if this was the kind of work culture he wanted to uphold. He didn’t like that she didn’t take a break and was going unnoticed for her extra work. Perhaps he’d talk to HR and accounting later to avoid situations like this from happening again. Taehyung drummed his fingers against his her desk and sucked his teeth.
“Nope, nothing else you can do for me!” he smiled, “Thank you for your hard work but please make sure to take a proper break next time. I’m going to the coffee room to take a breather myself.”
She looked up to thank him out of courtesy and he surprised her by thanking her once more and using her name. He grabbed a few more pieces of candy before going on his way.
“Hey Taehyung!” she called, leaning over her desk.
He turned his head with a raised brow.
“If you’re still going to the break room, it’s the other way.” she informed him.
Taehyung turned around on his heel and began walking hastily in the correct direction with bashful smile on his face.
“What an interesting guy.” she thought while laughing to herself.
________________________________________________
The hour leading up to the big meeting didn’t get any easier as her inbox continued to flood with people requesting numerous things from her. She was finally able to breathe when the meeting started and people stopped demanding her assistance. Jisoo had come up earlier asking for words of encouragement before Taehyung emerged from his office. She watched in awe at how effortless Jisoo made it look cracking jokes with Taehyung and drawing out deep belly laughs from him. She cringed at how awkward she must’ve been with Taehyung earlier and refused to look at him when he walked by; not that he would’ve noticed anyway as Jisoo had his full attention. She made an early new years resolution to be more like her follow coworker in the coming year.
Despite the craziness earlier, she was already bored browsing through the same pages for the past 40 minutes. The meeting seemed to be going well as no one left the boardroom to ask her to do anything. With her sanity hanging onto Pinterest boards, she welcomed the delivery man with a gigantic smile and lively greeting.
“Big one today.” the delivery man commented while slapping the stacks of boxes on his trolley.
She took a look around her desk to see if there was any available space to put the packages but to no avail.
“You can just leave them there.” she said and began rolling up her sleeves.
“You sure?” the man asked, “these are quite heavy.”
She reassured him by telling him that she deals with deliveries every Monday and that this was no different to prior ones. She bid the delivery man farewell as he disappeared through the elevator doors with the same concerned face that never left during their entire interaction.
"Finally something to do.” she thought and with that, began working on the boxes.
Taehyung struggled to keep his eyes open during the meeting. He opted to rest his chin on his hand and pretend to take notes when in reality, his eyes were closed and he was drawing random shapes in his notepad. From the moment he received emails outlining what the meeting entailed, he knew it meant absolutely nothing to him. He didn’t actually know why he agreed to be a part of it but he was definitely regretting his decision to do so. Taehyung had a long list of tasks to fulfill especially since he was only a month onboard this company and this meeting was wasting his time. Wanting to make a good impression on his employees, Taehyung tried really hard to pay attention but he simply could not trick himself into caring as the minutes ticked by. He racked his brain on ways to escape and took a deep breath before pursuing his liberation. Taehyung looked at his apple watch and feigned surprise at a non-existent message on it.
“Everyone, I apologize for leaving so suddenly but there is an issue I have to attend.” he announced while getting up from his seat.
He uttered a few more apologies before leaving the boardroom and closing the door. It wasn’t until he was out in the hallway by himself that he suddenly felt incredibly foolish over how easy it was to leave. He sat in that godforsaken room for almost an hour thinking of ways to flee and that was all it took. Pinching the bridge of his nose and inhaling a sharp breath, Taehyung made his way back to his office.
“Holy shit! What is in here?!” she groaned struggling to lift more boxes from within the delivery boxes.
In the span of an hour, she was still working on one of the four boxes delivered. Perhaps she should’ve listened to the delivery man earlier but her pride got in the way. It didn’t help that the skirt she was wearing today was a lot shorter than her usual choices but all her work clothes were currently in the wash as she simply could not be bothered to do laundry over the weekend. Every time she lifted something up, she had to immediately place the item somewhere so she could pull her skirt down or she’d accidentally flash the office.
She attempted to set one box down on her desk and winced when it slipped from her fingers and landed on the floor with a heavy thud. She waited a few seconds to see if anyone came out to figure out what the noise was and breathed a sigh of relief when the office remained undisturbed.
“Better than aimlessly scrolling through Instagram.” she thought before bending over to pick up anything that fell out.
“Do you need help?” a familiar voice called out.
She jumped in her shoes and proceeded to drop everything from her arms. She snapped her body up to see who it was and surprising her again for the second time today, Taehyung was standing in front of her desk with a curious look on his face.
“I’m so sorry I shouldn’t have snuck up on you like that,” he apologized profusely as he made his way behind her desk, “please let me help you!”
It took her a beat to register her appearance and she quickly pulled down her skirt that was riding up way too close to her crotch. She smoothed her hair before attempting to stop Taehyung from doing anything.
“No, no don’t worry!” she laughed as he held up the items out of her reach.
“If you want it then you have to grow a whole foot taller.” he teased.
“You have a meeting to go back to.” she reminded him to which he scrunched his face in disapproval.
Just as she was slowly convincing Taehyung to go back, his face turned from playfulness to dread when the boardroom door opened.
“Let me ask Taehyung to join the meeting again.” a colleague’s voice could be heard before their footsteps approached the lobby.
She was about to tell Taehyung that he was needed when he ducked under her already cramped desk and put a finger to his lips as his eyes pleaded for her to keep quiet. Before she could process what was happening, Jin, her coworker appeared.
“Hey! Is Taehyung around?” Jin asked as he marvelled at all the boxes spread out in the lobby.
She stood still trying to calm her nerves. On one hand, she was fighting against the biggest laughing fit of her life and on the other, Taehyung her boss, expected her to cover for him as he cowered under her desk.
“He is...” she glanced down at Taehyung who was now shaking his head and making a cutting motion with his hand, “I-I haven’t seen him actually! Is he not in the meeting?”
Jin cocked a brow and leaned over her desk trying to see what she was looking at.
“Is everything okay? You look like you just saw a ghost.” he laughed.
She forced a smile and shook her head, “Oh yeah I’m fine! My computer’s been acting up all day and it’s getting a little worrisome with everything going on.”
Taehyung was impressed by how quick she was on her feet and slowly breathed a sigh of relief until he heard Jin offer to come around and take a look at her computer for her. This whole situation was already absolutely ridiculous and humiliating until she sat down on her chair to click a few keys and feign relief that her computer was magically working again. The issue was no longer the fact that Taehyung was hiding from his employees but that he was contorted under her desk that was way too small for his large frame, now with her cunt inches away from his face.
“Well now that you’re here anyways, I was hoping you could help me with some paper work and scheduling.” Jin said.
“S-sure.” she managed to answer despite her throat drying up and the adrenaline slowly making its way through her veins.
She could feel every time Taehyung breathed because his exhales would land right against her inner thigh and when he sighed, she could feel it right against her sex. Her thong provided little to no protection against any sensation caused by him. She tried to clamp her thighs together but her knees would hit Taehyung’s face in the process causing her to open her legs again as a reflex and there was no more room for Taehyung to back up against.
“Are you okay?” Jin asked.
She could only nod as a response; she did not trust her voice to come out stable and natural. The battle she was fighting up there was mutually shared by Taehyung underneath. His brain was going a million miles a minute as he tried to figure out how to talk to her after this. How was he going to make this all alright and normal? He could offer her a raise and an extra week of paid vacation? Maybe he could fire her but he wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if he did that. Taehyung was beating himself up for putting her in a situation like this and began to mentally prep for a lawsuit. While trying to figure out a solution, Taehyung forgot that he was just a man with a simple brain and another mental battle was underway as he tried very hard to avoid gazing somewhere he really shouldn’t. As she kept squirming, her skirt kept rising and Taehyung couldn’t help but steal a glance at the growing wetness appearing on her undergarment. The growing arousal within Taehyung’s pants made him feel more cramped and with his legs were beginning to fall asleep, he began to pray to any god out there for some sort of divine intervention.
“Fuck fuck fuck...oh my fucking god,” he chanted in his head, “Jin shut the fuck up already.”
A gasp escaping from her lips followed by her suddenly jolting startled Jin and he gave her an odd look. Taehyung had completely lost feeling in both of his feet and he fell over grabbing onto her thighs for support. His hands felt so warm against her skin and their sheer size grabbed a lot more area than anticipated. Taehyung fought back a groan when the bottom of her skirt had flipped over and her entire lower region was in full view.
“Hey Jin, is it okay if we do this over email? I’m suddenly not feeling so well.” she was able to muster out.
It didn’t take a doctor to know something was wrong from her complexion turning completely pale.
“Yeah I think you should go home for the rest of the day. You really don’t look well,” Jin acknowledged with furrowed brows, “I’ll just catch Taehyung up with the meeting myself.”
The minute she heard the boardroom doors close, she pushed her chair back so forcefully that it crashed into the wall behind her. She got up and immediately pulled her skirt down and made a beeline towards the washroom without saying a single word to Taehyung. Taehyung on the other hand stayed fixed under her desk with his eyes bulged and his mouth ajar. There was absolutely no positive outcome for what he had caused.

-------
First ring of the doorbell found you in your bed, still in sweatpants, oversized T-Shirt of your favorite band and a face mask covering your face. You looked up, for a moment, scared you’re late and didn’t calculate properly the time you needed for your preparations. But no. You still had a good 30 minutes before scheduled leaving. You had no intentions on going out even a minute earlier. Plus, your company would have never left without you. Being late was not a problem in this situation.
You got back to scrolling through Twitter when you heard a ring for the second time.
“Y/N! Can you let him in?!”
This time it was your roommate, screaming from the bathroom. He’d been taking a shower for the past 30 minutes, getting ready for tonight. He’d gotten pretty excited and you didn’t know why. But you did know that person standing on the other side of your apartment door, was his friend that was supposed to join you tonight. You’d never met him before, even though they’d been working together and both had known each other for quite some time. You’d just heard some stuff about him and he seemed nice.
You really didn’t want to move from your cozy bed but that annoying sound was going around your apartment and making you crazy. Also, that guy was still ringing the doorbell.
“FINE!”
Lazily you left your room, kicked the door to the bathroom, probably scaring the shit out of your roommate and opened the front door.
“Come in. Jimin is still in the bathroom, making himself pretty. His room is over there.”, you pointed towards the door behind you.
“Thanks.”
Your nose was inside your phone all the time, you didn’t pay any attention to the guest. You heard his response but didn’t put a mind to it. You just noticed he came inside. He seemed tall or at least that was how he looked like while he was passing by you. By the time you realized you should say something more and be at least a little less rude, he was gone in Jimin’s room. When you turned around, the door was already closed. You shrugged your shoulders, thinking you would have time to talk to him later, so you went back to your room, while still being stuck to your phone. Passing by the bathroom you didn’t hear any water running so you assumed Jimin was done with the shower. This meant you still had time.
When your door closed and you were safely covered by your warm comforter, Jimin ran out from the bathroom, shirtless in his sweatpants and still with wet hair. It was not that he was shy next to you or something, but this time he wanted you to see him when he was ready. And he was doing everything to manage to do that on time. Because he was always late. Everywhere. All the time. And for the first time he cared so much he wanted to be ready on time.
He got to his room and immediately went straight to his closet.
“Where is that black T-shirt…”, he was mumbling to himself.
“Hello, to you too.”
Jimin jumped in place, hitting harshly to a shelf. Grabbing his head with his arms he looked outside the closet.
“Fuck, Namjoon. You scared the shit out of me.”
“Y/N let me in”, Namjoon chuckled to himself.
He was sitting on the bed and reading a comic book.
“So you met her?”, Jimin’s face immediately brightened up after hearing your name.
“I can hardly say that. I think she was too invested in something on her phone.”
“But you saw her? What do you think of her?”, Jimin was persistent in talking about you.
“Black face mask really outlined her eyes.”
“She’s probably picking up some cute outfit right now. I must look perfect tonight…”, Jimin already stopped listening and got back to rummage through his clothes.
Namjoon smiled to himself. This evening was kinda special for Jimin.
For the past three years that you’d been friends with him and you for two years that you’d been living together, he’d been madly in love with you. So madly, he had no idea what to do with it. How to confess to you, what move should he make. How to tell you how he felt about you. All his other friends, with Namjoon on top, were pretty puzzled about this. Jimin was always a good looking guy, with a hairstyle on top and nice clothes. He never complained about the lack of female company. Or confidence. So why was it so hard when it was coming to you?
You were his friend and he was definitely scared of losing you. He’d met you at a party and probably 5 minutes later he’d developed his crush on you. He’d taken your number, with the intention of asking you out later. But you’d written him first and started to send him memes and cute pics of cats from the internet. He’d thought that was adorable but pretty fast realized you were treating him like just a friend. Which had been fine at the beginning! You hadn’t been anything serious so he couldn’t have been mad at himself about this. But the more you’d been spending time together the more he was liking you not just like a friend. When you’d been looking for a place to live, because your earlier roommate had been moving out and you couldn’t have afforded the place on your own and he’d offered you a room at his apartment, he’d been already madly in love with you. He’d known that this was not the best idea, given his feelings towards you. But at the same time, he’d wanted to have you close to himself.
Two years later, you were close friends, he was dying inside to be with you and finally decided enough is enough. Or actually Namjoon did. He was the one who had convinced Jimin that he should confess to you. From the beginning Jimin was scared that after doing so, he would find out you didn’t reciprocate his feelings, they would become a problem and you both would drift apart. But Namjoon had pointed out that otherwise it was going to be worse. Especially if you found someone else, not knowing about Jimin’s affection.
So Jimin was gathering all his strength and confidence to organize this evening. The whole idea was to go out with you to a bar or a club and use alcohol courage to finally ask you out. Namjoon was supposed to be a cover for this whole scheme. You weren’t supposed to realize what was going on, until Jimin smoothly swooped in and confessed. Simple as that!
“You think you’ll manage to do it tonight?”, Namjoon asked, while Jimin disappeared in his closet again. He put a comic book on a desk, remembering he has to finish it later.
“I have to”, Jimin sounded pretty serious.
“In case something was going wrong, we should have a sign or a code.”
“What? What do you mean?”
“I mean, if you decide not to do it, we should have a plan B to back up without her knowing what was going on.”
Jimin closed his closet, while wearing a simple, black T-shirt. It wasn’t a fancy or an expensive one but he knew you liked him in it. You’d told him that once, when you’d been both buzzed a little and had been watching some show on Netflix. He didn’t remember what show that was or what alcohol you’d been drinking, but he didn’t forget your words.
“I have to do it”, Jimin repeated himself.
Namjoon didn’t get back to the topic. He knew Jimin was right. But he also knew what his role that night was. He wanted to help his friend. Not only, so he confessed to you, but also if anything went wrong and he needed to evacuate Jimin or you. Jimin was known for being dramatic. Any outcome of the night might have been pretty big.
Jimin finally got ready. After finding his special T-shirt, he matched it with some tight black jeans and leather boots. He came out of the room to look for a jacket and Namjoon followed him to the hall. It was his first time at your place and he started to actually look around. At that very moment you left your room and came right across to him. You looked so much different than before. You were wearing a pretty, black short dress, with a pink flower pattern. You’d put on matching makeup, added some earrings. Your hair was tied up in a messy ponytail and you were just picking up some shoes. Jimin saw you, but he just took a quick look. He knew how good you can look so even though he liked your outfit very much, he wasn’t staring, he was preparing for leaving as well.
But Namjoon froze in place and was tracing your every move. He didn’t believe he’d actually ignored you before. He couldn’t take his eyes off you. And while you were trying on a pair of shoes, you noticed that. You noticed him. You knew Jimin’s friend was supposed to join you tonight, you’d opened the door for him, but hadn’t paid any attention. And now you noticed this tall guy standing in your hall and staring at you, with his mouth open, still in a weird shock.
He was wearing a long green jacket and a white T-shirt with a random print on it. Dark jeans and black heavy boots were making his legs look even longer and slimmer than they really were. He also wore a beanie, which was more as a fashion statement, because it was not cold outside. He looked good. You couldn't have called him handsome straight away, not ugly as well. He was definitely different than the other guys. And his eyes. He was staring at you without any embarrassment. You liked those brown eyes.
Jimin snatched both of you to reality by dropping his keys to the floor. You blinked a few times and realized you stopped in place and forgot what you were actually doing. You looked at Namjoon again but he broke eye contact and was helping your roommate. That also helped you to gather yourself and finally chose some shoes. Jimin picked up his keys and let you out first. He gestured to Namjoon to do the same, but before he left, he grabbed Jimin’s arm and pulled him behind the door.
“Is… is that Y/N?”, he asked quietly, to make sure you didn’t hear him.
“Yes...Who else? You’ve already seen her...”
Jimin looked at him like he was doubting his big brain was still there and working. He eyed him up and down with unspoken questions and followed you, leaving his friend in the hall. At that moment Namjoon started to doubt that including him in tonight’s plan was a good idea. After all, he was supposed to help Jimin to hook him up with you, not snatched his three-years-old crush right in front of his nose.
Thirty minutes later you ended up in a newly opened club in the city. The moment you arrived, you found your table, which had been reserved a few days earlier just in case and ordered the first round of drinks. Jimin wasn’t waiting for anyone and finished his before you even started yours and ordered another one. You had trouble catching up and at some point Namjoon’s hand covered your drink, just to stop you from drinking that fast. Jimin was not stopping himself at any point though.
He was nervous. You’d noticed that pretty quickly but wasn’t able to connect the dots. There was no reason for him to act like that. At least you couldn't have thought of any. The drinking though was not an issue, it was actually a normal part of the evening. He absorbed alcohol like water or at least that was what he was telling everyone. He liked drinking and had never said no, convincing people around him he had a strong head and alcohol didn’t affect him much. You would be the first person to destroy that image, vividly remembering in what kind of state he’d used to be after all those occasions. And as always alcohol did help him to relax and become fun and chatty him. He was touching your hands, arms, knee and even tacking your hair behind your ear when you both were laughing. You were feeling comfortable around him. You knew how flirty he can be, how touchy he was even without alcohol. You’d gotten used to that and had to admit you liked that. It was somehow flattering, even if it didn’t mean anything.
With his fourth drink Jimin started to talk. Like a lot. He was talking about you, him, how you’d been living together, he even mentioned how you’d both met. When this topic had come out, you started to laugh remembering that party
“You came with your friends and started to drink right away!”, you pointed at him, while telling the story. “I don’t know how much you had drank but you fell from your chair like three times before the evening even started for good!”
This memory always made you laugh. You were absolutely astonished how a guy like him could have fallen from any sitting surface, without even a drop of alcohol. His relationship with chairs was truly very complicated.
While you were still laughing, you turned around to Namjoon to tell him everything about that, so you missed Jimin’s face expression. He was sitting on your other side the whole time and quietly listening to how you had fun. He wasn’t drinking that much and that fast like the two of you, but didn’t want to fallout from the party as well. He needed to stay more sober, though. Just in case he had to play his wingman role. When you’d started your story you put your hand on his wrist that was on a table, with his drink. You were not sure why you’d done that. Alcohol started to talk through you which had always made you a little touchy and more brave. Not Jimin level though. You wanted some kind of physical contact with him. At first he looked at your hands, still listening to you. Then he looked at you, the same way as he did in your apartment. With those beautiful, brown eyes, going right straight through you. Your temporary courage made you not froze and silenced but your heart definitely skipped a bit and you felt a heat coming straight to your face. There was something at his gaze that you liked so much. You felt a little sparkle between you two and were getting excited. Things like that rarely happened to you and you really wanted to know where this was going.
For a moment you forgot you were not alone there. You stopped babbling, cleared your throat and got back to Jimin. You wanted to drag him to the whole story-telling but he somehow had stepped back. He moved a little further from you on his seat and looked like he had completely lost his attention to what had been happening next to him. He wasn’t smiling as wide as before. He was also looking away, at the bar, people on a dance floor, somewhere else. You pulled out your hand to him but he moved away and got up from his seat, hiding that with an excuse of going for another drink. Before you even had said anything he left your table not looking back.
What the hell had just happened?
“Did I say something wrong?”, you turned to Namjoon once again.
“No. Absolutely not.”, he shook his head and looked at you. “Jimin is… he has something on his mind. You don’t need to worry about that.”
His words didn’t help you much though. You started to recreate all that had happened when you’d come to the club, somehow thinking it was your fault. Namjoon saw that, he saw your face expression.
“Y/N! Don’t.”, he finished his drink in one sip. “Please, don’t torment yourself with this. Let’s get you another drink, shall we?”
Saying last words he grabbed your hand and smiled at you. He had probably the most charming smile you had ever seen. He was smiling with this whole face, his full lips and dark eyes. And you noticed how cute dimples showed up on his cheeks. His smile was really contagious.
You nodded at his proposition, feeling being under his spell, not being able to answer him this time and wanted to get up to the bar but he stopped you.
“I’ll bring it to you. Same as before?”
You thanked him and sat back in your place. Him leaving your table had snapped you from the effect he had on you. You’d barely just met but you were starting to like him. He was getting cuter each minute you were spending together. You weren’t sure he felt the same way, though. He was Jimin’s friend and technically he’d come with him, not with you. When you’d first heard he’d invited someone to this evening, you hadn’t been convinced to this idea. Meeting new people was always stressful and you just wanted to have fun after a long week at work and not dealing with some random dude that you’d barely known. Thankfully, that dude, was a lot different than you’d suspected.
Namjoon disappeared among the crowd, same as Jimin had before. For a moment you were left alone and you started to look around, checking to see if you could find your roommate, who you were still worried about. However, he was nowhere to be found. Namjoon had told you not to think about that, but you couldn't help it. He was not just your roommate but a friend after all.
Before you started your coming train of thoughts on what might had happened that had upset Jimin, Namjoon came back with your drinks. When he was putting glasses he accidentally spilled some on the table and on your dress. He immediately pulled out his hands like was trying to stop it from spilling any further, which was of course pointless.
“Fuck, I’m so sorry!”
“That’s fine”, you chuckled. “There won’t be any stain, no worries”.
Namjoon didn’t look convinced. You smiled at him, took your drink and took a big sip, showing how much you didn’t care about the dress. He smiled back and did the same.
Since you were left with Namjoon alone, he took the responsibility to talk with you, to entertain you. And, because both of you were getting pretty drunk already, it wasn’t that hard. You didn’t know each other, so he started asking tons of questions about you. About your life, job, where had you lived before and why the hell had you agreed to live with Jimin in the first place. He also listened to everything you were saying, which made you feel more comfortable around him pretty quickly. For the whole time he was also looking straight into your eyes. He was paying his full attention to you. He didn’t look bored or anything. He really was enjoying this conversation with you.
He was also providing more drinks. You were getting more and more dizzy. At some point you excused yourself and went to the bathroom. On your way back you thought you saw Jimin and stopped in place. You narrowed your eyes to have a better focus. The world really started to spin around and you needed a moment. But you were not wrong. That was indeed Jimin. He was standing close to the bar, on the side that was not visible from your table. And he was talking to a girl. His arm was around her waist and while you were lurking at them, her hand landed on his neck to keep him close. They were definitely flirting. All this time you were worried he was upset and he’d just wanted to find someone and get laid!
You knew Jimin was popular with the girls. You’d always known that. Girls liked him for his look, his smile, his flirty side which he wasn’t able to turn off even with you. He wasn’t a fuckboy, at least you’d never noticed anything. Bringing home stranger women was not his thing. It had happened a few times, since you’d been living together but at some point he’d just stopped doing that. You guessed he wanted to try again. Maybe going out brought up some memories and he’d found himself in a women’s company again, without any effort.
When you got back to your table Namjoon was waiting with fresh drinks and you already knew you had to ask him to stop buying them. Otherwise you would end up under the table and no one wanted to see that.
“I just saw Jimin. He’s talking… well, at this point probably making out with some girl”.
When Namjoon heard that, his eyes went wide open.
“He what? A-are you sure? You sure that was Jimin?”, he started to look for his friend.
“It’s hard not to recognize that butt of his”, you laughed to yourself from your brilliant joke. Jimin’s butt was indeed something.
“But… Jimin was…”
“Was what?”
Namjoon immediately bit his tongue. He couldn't have told you what Jimin was supposed to do. You were not supposed to know until he finally confessed to you! But for some reason he’d seemed to abandon the whole plan. Why the hell was he making out with some other girl? That didn’t make any sense. Like him leaving the table without any explanation. Had he changed his mind? Had he noticed how Namjoon was looking at you? Had… no, that was impossible. He would have never stepped down after noticing his friend liked you. He’d been in love with you for too long.
Namjoon got lost in his thoughts and didn’t notice how you sat closer to him. His consciousness was just coming back to him. He felt your thigh right next to his. You accidentally knocked him with your elbow when you were fixing your dress in your boobs area, at this point not caring much who was watching. And Namjoon was watching.
You looked at him with a question in your eyes and he froze, for a moment being scared you might had noticed and had read his mind, which he was pretty sure you could. You looked so pretty. He was damn sure it was all written on his face, how much he liked looking at you, how he actually liked you and probably everyone had already known what thoughts were storming into his mind. He shifted nervously in his seat, starting to sweat a little. He looked at the bar, like was making sure Jimin was really there, though he didn’t see him at all. When he maintained eye contact with you again, he licked his lips, making a decision in a brain of his.
“Nothing. Good that he’s having fun.”
You snored at that and took a sip of your fresh drink, totally forgetting about your previous statement, enjoying sweet and cold beverage.
“Y/N, do you wanna dance?”
He surprised you with his offer. He surprised himself, to be honest. But he was sure, if he spent a little more on wondering should he do it, he would had never done that. You didn’t hesitate for a second. You nodded and at the moment he smiled at you one more time with the most sincere smile. You felt yet again how your face was turning red under his gaze and was thanking for your makeup and dark lights in the room. He took your hand in his and guided you to the dance floor, making small steps so both of you wouldn’t fall into anyone. It was full of people but you found an empty spot for yourselves, a little in the back. You felt his arms around you immediately, dragging you close to him. You were surprised by his bold action again, but you didn’t mind. You wanted him to touch you, to hug you. And also do the same to him. You could only imagine how it would have been to lean your head on his chest, to smell his scent, maybe feel his heartbeat.
And at that moment, like if the universe had heard your thoughts, music changed and a slow song started to play. Before your clouded mind realized what was happening, Namjoon put his arms around you and pulled you even closer to him. Dream was coming true and you felt another heat wave hitting your body but you didn’t want to show him that. Instead, you wrapped your arms around his neck and shyly looked up into his eyes. As before, he was looking right at you. It seemed like he wanted to look only at you, all the time. Maybe it was alcohol talking but you noticed his gaze was shifting from your eyes to your lips. And then back again. He hugged you tighter, you felt how his fingers were drawing circles on your back, which made you shiver despite the heat in the club. He parted his lips and took a deep breath. He looked like he was having an inner fight with himself and was actually losing. He got nervous and you felt how he tightened his fist on the back of your dress. To soothe his struggle you reached out to his hair that was pointing out under his beanie and started to play with some on his neck. It seemed to work. He looked at you again with those eyes that you liked so much from the very first moment you saw him and leaned to you. A kiss was soft, gentle and very quick. When your lips met your breath hitched, you dug your fingers into his neck, nervousness taking control under your body. He leaned back a little but didn’t move away, keeping his forehead right against yours, eyes closed. You grabbed his arm and hummed, more to yourself because you were damn sure he didn’t hear that. But maybe he felt that. Or maybe he was in the same state of mind as you were, because a moment later he kissed you again but this time much deeper. You felt his hand on your neck, holding you close to him. Other hand still on your back, making sure you would stay there with him. His tongue started poking on your lower lip, asking for permission. And you gave it to him. He opened your lips with his, you felt his tongue on yours. He tasted like his drink, a little sour and sweet at the same time. You smiled to yourself, liking that taste.
When he pulled away, he grabbed your hand from his neck and took to his chest. You felt how fast his heart was beating, giving he must had been pretty nervous about this. If the light was brighter he was pretty sure you would had noticed his dilated pupils, full of desire for you, for more.
But instead of that you saw how his gaze changed in just one second. From soft and blissful to scared and maybe even panicked. He realized what just had happened, what he had done and immediately got scared. He wanted that, for a second that even had sounded like a good idea. He was also convinced you wanted to kiss him. The way you had been looking at him… He broke an eye contact, embarrassed of himself and looked around, making sure nobody actually had seen what you were doing, which felt extremely stupid at a place like this. Though he was thinking only about one person there. He dropped your hand and stepped back, keeping a safe distance from you. He closed his eyes and mouthed something to himself. You hadn’t heard him and wanted to ask what was wrong when you felt someone’s presence next to yourselves.
Jimin put his hand on your arm, which made you jump in place and turned you to him. His face was close to yours and you had no doubt he hadn’t stopped drinking after leaving you and Namjoon. His breath smelled like an alcohol and he was slightly swaying in place.
“I was looking for you.”
“You were the one that left”, you pointed out. Jimin smiled at you with that cute smile when his eyes were completely disappearing, changing into two thin lines. He liked when you were sassy and all smart ass. He thought it was cute.
“Can I talk with Namjoon?”, he asked.
You looked at a guy in front of you, still frozen in place. You wanted to get back to what you started, to kissing and dancing, and touching. You really liked that and was getting the impression Namjoon had too. But he was avoiding eye contact, probably for the first time this evening so you just nodded at your roommate and left the two of them.
You got back to your table and took your unfinished drink, still dizzy after what happened between you and Namjoon. You were just wondering, why had he stopped so abruptly. He’d been the one that asked you to dance and kissed you. So, did he like you or not? Still being on a cloud nine, you were taking sip after sip of your drink, thinking about Namjoon and his full lips on yours.
Meanwhile, Jimin turned his friend around, so you wouldn’t be able to guess what they were talking about. Namjoon felt his sweat coming down his back. He had screwed up, hadn’t he? He knew that. He was feeling like a kid caught by his parent on doing something he’d been specifically told not to do. Jimin was surely about to put him into place and he had nothing to defend himself. Nothing than that he was drunk, stupid and liked a girl his friend was in love with. Extremely poor excuse.
“I need you to take Y/N home.”
“Listen…”, Namjoon started to talk at the same time, trying to put back in time what was coming but he quickly realized what he’d been asked to do. “Wait-what?”, and his drunken ass didn’t understand the request the way he should.
“Change of plans. Y/N is pretty drunk anyway. I don’t want her to go home alone. Go with her, make sure she’s safe.”
“But… you…she”, Namjoon was completely lost.
“We’ll talk later. I…”, he brushed his hand through his hair and took a deep breath. “I just don’t want her to get into any trouble. She can do stupid things while drunk.”
With that Jimin left, taking a quick look at you. Namjoon stood on a dance floor, not sure how to understand what just had happened. Had Jimin seen him kissing you? Why had he left you earlier without any explanation and then had asked him to take you home? And why had he been making out with another girl? Nothing of that made any sense. Especially the kiss. Everybody had been kissing not a person they should! Kissing you had been an impulse and even though he’d enjoyed that very much, he knew it had been a mistake. He’d wanted to do that. And hell, he was pretty sure you’d wanted too. He had to quickly calm himself, before more something would happen.
Still, he decided to do as he’d been asked to. He got back to you. Your drink was gone already and he realized Jimin had been right about you being drunk. Maybe even a little too drunk. So he helped you leave the table, making sure you wouldn’t spill his own unfinished drink. You slipped your hand under his jacket and wrapped your arm around his waist. Your head first landed on his shoulder and then slid off to his neck. He felt your hot breath on his skin and his mind was going places. He was tempted to hug you, to pull you closer to him. He was getting sure he was too drunk as well. Alcohol in his blood was starting to take control over him, telling to take you home, but not yours. To kiss you again, but not on the lips. To touch you, but not on your hand or back. He felt dizzy and barely called a cab. He helped you to get into the car, then he sat on the other side. He took a deep breath and leaned his head on the back. He needed to get you home safely and forget about everything.
But you didn’t give him a chance. At this state you’d forgotten what embarrassment was, your shy ass had been put into silence and brave version of you had gone out the surface. Once again your lips were dangerously close to his neck and it was starting to drive him crazy. It was like you’d known where his weak spot was. It made him groan deep in his throat and cursed any god that had ever existed for allowing this. Each passing second you were getting more and more irresistible to him.
He gently cupped your cheek and turned to you.
“...Y/N”, his voice was hoarse and he couldn’t help it.
He wanted to ask you to stop. To chill for a moment, move to the side, so he could start breathing and thinking straight again. He wanted simply to put you into bed, make sure you fell asleep and do the same at his place. And maybe take a long, cold shower. But he did not do such a thing.
A little shyly, a little not sure what he was doing, he found your lips again. You immediately reciprocate the kiss, deepening it and pulling him to you. He was so confused yet again was getting so aroused, he lost control. You grabbed his T-shirt with your fist and moaned quietly when his hand traveled from your face to your waist. His touch was gentle and carrying but you knew he was able to hold you in place like that, right where he wanted. You didn’t want to stay behind, so you left his T-shirt and slid your hand down and found his inner thigh, dangerously close to his dick. When you squeezed a little, you felt his muscles tense but he didn’t push you away. He wanted you to touch him everywhere, all night. He was sure he had not only lost his control but also mind. He absolutely loved kissing you.
He pulled away for a second or two, to catch a breath and to look at you. You were difficult to restrain in that moment as you were following his lips, hungry for more. He chuckled quietly to himself, holding your face in his hands. You looked so damn cute. He wanted to devour you whole, give everything that you’d wanted and needed, and see how that was making you to fall apart. Car stopping right in front of your building snapped him from his fantasies, which were getting more and more bold. He paid without even looking at the money and almost pushed you outside.
By the time you reached your apartment, you were kissing like crazy, with tongue, teeth and hands all over your bodies. You tried to open the door but Namjoon pinned you to it and didn’t want to let go. Capturing your lips again, he bit your lower lip, enjoying your little moans you were making. He decided there and then this was his favorite sound ever. He took your keys and blindly guided them to the lock, kissing down your neck, which made a small moan coming out of your throat, again. He chuckled at how easy that had been and how much he liked making you do that.
You almost had fallen to the floor when the door got open but he caught you just in time, pulling you close to him. He kicked the door behind him and you almost dragged him to your bedroom to pull him with you on the bed. You both fell to your sheet, making one pillow fall on the floor. The moment you felt his body weight on you, his lips found your neck. You turned your head to side to give him more access and hissed when you felt his teeth on your skin. His hands started to wander and one slid down, right under your dress and landed on your thigh, quickly finding your hip. He was trailing over your skin with his fingers, playing with the hem of your panties, teasing you and waiting for your reaction. He slid his hand under the material on your hip, keeping his thumb close to the place you wanted him the most. You felt the slightest pressure of his finger, which made a shiver go down your spine and then he took it away, making you wine. He smiled to himself, while his lips were on yours but didn’t say anything. Moving his hand lower, he grabbed your thigh and urged you to wrap your leg around his waist. You did that, adding the other one and hooking them on your ankles. With you holding him tight close to you, he started to grind his clothed cock right into you. You felt his hard length pressing on your pussy, a little painful with his pants still on. He moaned into your ear, that little friction giving him a relief but not satisfaction. He was fully hard and barely thinking. Cute sounds that you were making when his dick was brushing on your clit were driving him crazy. He was breathing loud, breathing down your neck, holding you by your waist to stop you from moving your hips. You were so eager for him to fuck you, you couldn't stay in place. You took off his beanie, threw it on the floor and tugged his hair a little. This made him grunt down in his throat and his hand moved from your hip up, right to the underside of your breast. But he didn’t touch you there. His thumb started to trace from one side to another, barely brushing it making you crazy. Your panties were all wet from your arousal, after all that friction of his cock and you just wanted him to finally take them off.
You attempted to grab him by his wrist and put his hand on your breast when you realized his hips slowed down his pace. The rising pleasure disappeared and you waited for him to do something, but instead of that he laid down, still pressed into you, not moving his body or his hand.
“Wait… Y/N… Slow down… I need to… slow down…”
He was barely able to speak, his voice hoarse and his throat felt really dry. He kissed your neck one last time and stopped for a second, hiding his face in the pillow. He was so hard, it was almost painful. He had no idea how on Earth he was able to stop and think about something else than fucking you with so little blood in his brain. With all his strength that left, he pulled himself on his arms and moved back. Immediately your hands were on him, dragging him back, tagging on his shirt, trying to take it off, asking not to stop. He sat on his heels and hid his face in his hand. What the fuck he was doing?
He felt how the bed shifted in your place. You were kneeling in front of him, still trying to get him back to you. Moving his hands away he saw you right there, he felt your lips on his, on his neck, how you started to touch him. You slid your hands down his body, straight to his hard cock. You started to palm him right then and there through his pants which drew a low moan from him. It felt so good. For a moment he let you do this. He closed his eyes and surrendered to the feeling of your gentle touch on him. His face was hidden in your hair, your scent overwhelmed him completely. He felt how you tugged his T-shirt from his pants, how your hands were roaming on his chest and sliding down his stomach. You unzipped him and wanted to take him in your hand but he grabbed your wrist and stopped you. He sighed heavily, it was still not too late.
He attempted to leave the bed, gather himself and take that last drop of dignity that had been left with him. But you didn’t want him to leave. When he was standing up you hold your hands behind you and unbuttoned your dress. You let it slip off your shoulders and fall down without any restrain, gathering around your hips. When Namjoon looked at you he choked on his breath and nearly tripped. You were naked from your waist up. You didn’t wear any bra because it hadn’t fit the dress. And now Namjoon was looking at your bare breasts and couldn’t believe his eyes. He felt his cock twitch at a sight, still hidden in his unzipped pants. You were so fucking sexy he had no idea how the hell he was supposed to just leave you like this. With his mouth agape, he was looking at how you crawled to him, how the dress pulled down your knees when you reached the edge of the bed and took his hands in yours. You wanted to put them on you, to feel him on your hot skin.
‘Y/N, don’t take this the wrong way…”, he whispered to your ear.
Namjoon took a deep breath. He had made up his mind. His hands landed on your shoulders and he gently, but firmly pushed you on the bed. With you starting to touch him again, was really hard but he managed to fully pull you back and lay you down. He took your dress and smoothly slid it down your legs and took it off. You were just in your panties, laying on the bed and waiting for his next move. You put up your hands above your head, stretching, trying to expose your body to him, show him that it was all for him. You yawned and tried to hide it with your hand but Namjoon noticed that. You were starting to get sleepy because of the all alcohol and he wanted to use that to his advantage.
He put your dress on the back of a chair that was standing close to the bed. He looked back at you. You were so god damn beautiful. He was sure in a normal situation he would have never let you go, never left you and spent the whole night tangled in the bed sheets, making all neighbors jealous and restless. But everything was so fucked up. He was wondering if you even were going to remember this evening. It would have been better if not. But on some level, on a very selfish one, he wanted you to. He wanted you to come after him, maybe while being less drunk and try again. Would he be able to resist you? He was willing to find out.
But in that moment he had to leave before Jimin came back. He adjusted himself, still being hard and zipped his pants, feeling uncomfortable. He grabbed your comforter and covered you with it. You’d been already half asleep which made everything much easier. You still trying to act horny and needy was the sexiest image ever that would live in his mind for the rest of his life. Before quietly leaving your room, he took his beanie off the floor and closed the door behind him. He needed a shower. A long, cold shower to sober up and collect his thoughts. Too much had happened and he was on the brink of the edge.
By the time he was going down the corridor in your building he’d gotten a text message. At first he thought you’d woken up and was looking for him, which would have been catastrophic. He had no idea how long he could have resisted you in this state. He was sure he would just run back to your apartment, remembering how you had looked right before he’d left. But it wasn’t you. He had to look closely to make sure he’d seen the name correctly. Things got so fucked up.
Jimin [00:35]: Thanks, Joon. I really appreciate your help. We’ll talk tomorrow.

Random Top 10s that no cares about, part 1: Youtubers
WARNING: If you do not like my list, that is okay. We don’t have to share an opinion. If you respect me, I’ll respect you.
10. Markiplier
Reason: I’m not as huge a fan as other people, but I occasionally watch some of his videos. He’s pretty aight and he’s a cool guy.
9. MandJTV
Reason: While I used to watch Dobbs and AuraGuardian, he was the guy who really kickstarted my love of Pokemon. His videos are entertaining, consistent, and suprisingly informational.
8. Schafrillas Productions
Reason: My favorite movie youtuber, he’s funny and makes watching movies more enjoyable due to my very short attentionspan. His lists are very fun and suprising, cool guy.
7. Purplecliffe
Reason: My favorite Poketuber, he’s the funniest and his editing style makes his videos very enjoyable. I don’t really know why he’s my favorite, he just is.
6. Wambu
Reason: He was the person who got me really into countdowns and Top 10s. He is, for my money, one of the funniest people on Youtube, and the only reason he’s not higher is because he doesn’t upload a lot.
5. Dead Meat
Reason: I love horror, and if you love horror, you love Dead Meat.
4. Grizzy
Reason: The best member of the goons and one of the best gaming Youtubers of all time. He’s funny as hell and his second channel is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
3. Matthias
Reason: He was the first person to actually get me invested in something on Youtube. The characters are extremly 3 dimensional, being realistic in what is happening. Benjamin Cobalt is one of my favorite villains of all time. The twists and outside of the show media are all amazing. The fact that all of this started as a random key in a ceiling 4 years ago is perplexing and great.
2. Popcross Studios
Reason: Hands down the best art channel on youtube, it’s not even close. His way of story telling is facinating and he’s one of the only channels I care enough about to know his posting schedule. Like Matthias, his characters are amazing, hilarious, dramatic, and more words that I can’t think of. Seeing how his looks and art style progress in a similar fashion have been amazing. Seeing him go from a smaller guy in an apartment to a buff handsome man in a big house, his artstyle growing better along the way has been amazing.
Honorable Mentions
Internet City, Brody Animates, Film Theory, and SMi7y
1. Captain Sauce
Reason: Here he is. The funniest man on Youtube. I’ve been watching him for over a year now, and his videos have never once dropped off. They have all been amazing, hilarious, and consistent. His variety is unmatched by anyone I have seen and his orignal characters that he somehow created has been amazing. His comedy style molded mine to how it is today and I constently quote him without anyone realizing. He really is my favorite, and I love everything he chooses to create.

Mine, Mine, Mine
Requested! Prompt:
26: "You're mine, i don't share,"
The girl grinned up at Sweet Pea when he threw a lazy arm carelessly around her shoulders. He was tapping something on his phone, playing with a piece of gum with his tongue. His hair curled across his tanned forehead and his towering frame covering her in warmth.
Toni rolled her eyes.
"Absolutely sickly. You're a bunch of lovesick puppies,"
She smirked.
"At least we haven't been caught licking at eachothers--"
"Woah, imma stop you there, mutt," Toni hissed, glaring up at her. She ignored it and just smirked.
"What? It's just me and you," she shoved a thumb back into her boyfriends chest. "Ever since he got the new phone he's been completely unresponsive," to prove her point, she dragged sharp nails from his chest down to his pelvis, then back up, a gesture that would usually make Sweet Pea shiver and drag her away, or at least blush. His eyes stuck glued to the screen, however, not even humming in acknowledgement .
"Bet you're regretting that purchase, aint you?"
Y/N shrugged. In all honesty, she didn't mind. Sweet Pea had originally had a flip phone, used only to take and recieve calls. Even then the only contacts was some of the serpent elders, Toni, Fangs, her and Jughead, albeit reluctantly. Sweet Pea claimed it didn't bother him, he barely used the internet anyway, but Y/N caught the longing glances Sweet Pea sent when they past electronic or apple stores. Y/N also noticed Sweet Pea's reluctance to pull out his phone infront of anyone. He always walked out the room or hid the phone, even when taking a text. So, Y/N worked hard leading up to his birthday and managed to buy him an iphone. It wasn't the newest model, but it wasn't in bad condition and it was brand new. Now, with more storage, he had flooded his phone with games and apps and pictures and videos. He was in love with that phone.
"Not really," she sighed, smiling up at him. "Love you, Pea,"
His eyes immediately broke away from the screen, blinking rapidly. He smirked, squeezing her closer and bowing his lips to the shell of her ear.
"Love you, too,"
The bell chose that moment to screech into their ears that it was time for class, with a kiss goodbye and a skip in her step, Y/N made her way to art, smiling happily.
-
Y/N preferred to sit near the back of the classroom because there was a window right next to her with the prettiest view. Trees and flowers swaying in the breeze, a couple leaves floating delicately down to the ground.
Today, though, someone sat in the seat next to her, which she found relatively odd. Most people tended to avoid her, terrified of her boyfriends famous temper.
When she walked up to the table, the boy smiled at her.
"You're Y/N?"
She hummed lightly, smiling back at him.
"Great! I'm Joseph, i just changed schools recently. Apparently you're the person to go to if i need help adjusting,"
Y/N inwardly sighed. At the beginning of her years at highschool, her goody-two-shoes self had sign up as a future "Hallway buddy". A job that basically allowed teachers to abandon their jobs as supervisors and shove it into the hands of willing, gullible new students.
She had tried to get out of it once she had to show a boy around, one who was more interested in picking up girls than the classrooms he needed to be in.
It was only then that the school informed her that if she wanted the extra credit, she had to continue into graduation. It was frustrating but she wasn't exactly the smartest so she needed it.
"That's me, nice to meet you," they shook hands, Joseph holding on slightly after she let go.
"Great, I'm not very socially...Im not very good with people so I'm glad you seem nice."
Y/N hummed in understanding.
"There are some annoying people you shouldn't get involved with. But I'm not gonna tell you who to and not to get involved with." She sat down next to him. "I just ask you don't believe everything you hear,"
"What? About the Serpents and the fact they're this cruel, bloodthirsty gang of emos?"
Y/N glared quickly.
"One of those serpents happens to be my boyfriend,"
Joseph tensed, straightening his back.
"Right, sorry,"
The lesson was spent in silence after that, Y/N focusing on the outside window.
When the bell announced their next lesson, she hurriedly collected her things, intent to leave before deflating.
She would have to show Joseph around either way, best get it over with.
She waited at the door, watching his glum face light up when he caught sight of her.
"Thank god," he sighed, smiling. "I was terrified I'd have to navigate the halls alone, worst fear."
She hummed, quickly manoeuvring through halls.
Joseph looked at her, tapping her meekly on the shoulder.
"I'm sorry, about what i said about the Slytherins, i just...i normally stick with the crowd,"
"First off, they're called the Serpents, and if you actually wanna make friends...maybe you shouldn't just 'stick with the crowd'."
Joseph huffed, flushing.
"Right. And sorry, i had a harry Potter marathon last night."
Her eyebrow raised at the mention of her favourite movie.
"We might become really good friends," she muttered.
-
When it came to Lunch, Y/N took him to the cafeteria where they got their food. When they turned around, Y/N immediately caught sight of the group of leather clad teens. She was about to go towards them but stopped when she saw Joseph's ashen face.
"Joseph?" She questioned, noticing the hands clenching fearfully at the side of his tray.
"Sorry...i just...god..." he looked away.
Y/N groaned. Joseph had yet to make friends and so it was clear he was totally uncomfortable and self concious. She felt the weight of a familiar gaze on her and she looked away from Joseph to see Sweet Pea staring at her, brow raised, earning a decisive shrug in return .
Making up her mind, she balanced her tray with one hand, considerably harder than she thought before taking hold of Joseph's sweater.
"Come with me,"
They made their way to the Serpents, some glancing at her when she brought a random into the group.
"Hey, Toni, Fangs, Jug, Pea," she smiled down at them, smiling thankfully when Fangs took her tray and placed it near Sweet Pea,whom, once again, was concentrated on his phone. She leaned down and kissed him on the cheek, him humming slightly before he began to tap furiously at his phone. "This is Joseph, he's new. I was showing him around and thought it'd be nice for you all to meet him," she sat down, shoving Sweet Pea further up the table so Joseph had enough room to sit. Sweet Pea just grunted.
Joseph sat down stiffly, nodding at them all.
"Hello,"
He recieved echos of greeting. Y/N had a slight suspicion he wasn't just introverted. He seemed quite outgoing around her alone, waving his hand furiously and voice occasionally increasing past normal range. Yet as soon as they entered a classroom, all the colour he gained on his face was drained and he became unfortunately meek and cowered into himself.
"Joseph," Y/N muttered, wanting to vocalise her concerns "Do you have..."
"Social anxiety? Yeah," he laughed. "Really bad too. That's why i was so glad to be paired with you.
Sweet Pea's furious tapping stopped.
"Paired?" Toni questioned.
Joseph grinned.
"I'm paired up with her in art and we discovered we have pretty much every class together,"
Sweet Pea's eyes rose from the screen.
"It was a relief honestly! I would be completely lost otherwise!" The blonde scratched the back of his neck, a nervous habit her picked up as a child. "She practically had to lead me by the hand, i looked quite pathetic, honestly!"
Sweet Pea slid his phone into his pocket.
"I'm sure you would've of been just fine, you're a lovely boy, Joseph. People will be eating you up--"
Suddenly, a heavy weight pressed down her shoulders and she found herself squished into Sweet Pea's side, his mouth kissing the crown of her head.
"Sweet Pea?" She looked up at him, frowning at the swirl of emotions peeking out behind dark clouds of brown. The table was completely forgotten. Y/N trusted Toni to pick up the conversation from there.
"Hmm," he burried his face into her neck, taking a deep breath in, tensing when he smelt deodorant. "What? Why do you smell of mint?" He wouldn't admit he missed the flowery, sweet scent she was usually accompanied with.
"Oh! Joseph let me borrow his, turns out we have PE together too! I ran out of mine last week," she flashed a grin.
"You could've told me, i would've brought you some more. They're only cheap," he mumbled into her ear, growling when Y/N laughed lightly.
"You don't need to get Jealous, Pea. Honest. I like the tall, dark and handsome type anyway,"
His lips came brushed against her ear slowly, kissing it gently.
"You're mine, i don't share,"
"And you don't, I'm yours just like you're mine,"
Sweet Pea growled playfully, biting her neck briefly
"Who said i was yours?"
Y/N scowled, her hand coming up to rest at his throat, forcing his head down so her mouth was at his jaw. She bit lightly at the skin, a difficult task.
"I said so, big boy,"
She squeezed his throat lightly, Sweet Pea shivering, before turning back to the table, taking notice that Sweet Pea didn't reach for his phone once.

How the gang would be like in modern times.
Kinda basing this off of texts I have with my friends because I get reminding everyday that my old friend group (kinda still my friend group.) are like the gang.
————
Ponyboy
He would have like an iPhone 6 in 2020. And he would be so upset about it. But he wouldn’t complain cause his brother didn’t have money for him to have an iPhone 11 or something.
He uses every platform to text. He probably only texts like Johnny and sometimes Dally.
Johnny and him would FT for hours and during them be like “look what I sent you.” And then proceeded to a meme.
Still a whiny baby boy but 2020 edition
Didn’t pay attention to politics cause he isn’t voting so he has no say. :/
Would probably watch anime- but like mainstream.
Has two instagram accounts one for public people he knew and a secret one to post what he wanted cause Darry probably looked into his phone-
Tries to show Darry how to use a smartphone. Darry won’t understand it. But he tried.
Track team until COVID hit 🙄
Hated virtual learning. HATED IT.
Especially when Darry didn’t have work that day he would peep into Soda and Pony’s room to see him on his desk on a call.
Pony putting his arm down shooing him away. “Darry...I’m in class please shh.” “Don’t worry bout me I’m just listening. Making sure these teachers actually are teaching ya.”
Somehow went brain dumb with this type of learning some days so when a teacher would ask him to answer something he would mute and turn off the camera or leave the call.
He was happy when he did know the answer a certain day.
• Having to text Johnny or Two bit to join a class cause the teacher was doing attendance.
—
Johnny
Texts Ponyboy and Dally pretty evenly. Though Pony would start being whiny when he didn’t answer. Johnny also probably had an older phone like an iPhone 6 or se maybe even an LG but he wouldn’t complain. He was just fine with having a phone. At least it worked.
Has a whole Instagram account about memes. Pony probably helps manage it.
Watches anime with Pony cause he finds it interesting. Does he understand what’s going on? No not at all but if Pony likes it then it’s okay.
Does really like Naruto though-
He hates school. It’s bad enough he skipped it most days. But now ITS AT HOME SO HE HAD NO EXCUSE TO NOT DO IT!
He would usually join the zoom calls but he kept his camera off and was on mute. His parents were probably arguing-
Some days he could be with Pony at his house and did his zooms from there.
Pony spamming him to join the class.
Pony: “Johnny Mr Fullb-“
Johnny: “I’m about to join just be patient pony.”
Dally sent him a nude once and he was SCARED. Dally used social media for that purpose but we will get more into that later-
He apologized a lot btw-
FT calls were fun cause he would put his phone in a certain position and do work and Pony being high on adrenaline would run around his room and you could see it on camera. It was funny.
—
Dallas
Where do I even start for this man....
TAKES FREAKING A MILLION NUDES LIKE IM NOT EVEN KIDDING ITS GROSS
Poor Johnny once got sent one on accident.
He is still traumatized
Virtual women and real women double bonus for him. He would text or dm one chick and be asking a girls number physically at the same time.
Mans gotta multitask-
Bully people on the internet.
Mainly pony for some reason. He did it playfully but Pony would get upset so quickly-
Pony.boy_curtis posted a picture. Caption: Read this poem at school and I’ve been vibing with it.
Comments: @Dal_winSton: Haha THATS dumb. (And more spam of him that includes 😀 that emoji.)
People would call him an eboy and he didn’t like that. He was just edgy in his own way.
Stole a iPhone 11 Pro so that’s how he has this phone.
GC with the whole gang existence and he was like “This is dumb we see eachother everyday.”
He was a weird teen-
—
Sodapop
My manz always texted Ponyboy when he was to lazy to speak.
Texted a lot of people cause he was that guy. But mainly Steve, Sandy (when they were still a thing.), Darry, and Pony.
His IG was filled with nice pics of him and girls just commenting about how handsome he was. He got annoyed of it at a point and turned off the comment section.
Probably had tiktok and made Pony get it.
Had a free subscription of Spotify and my boy loved his music.
Texting pony is like.: “Hey could you tell Darry that I got the eggs he needed earlier.” Pony never told him. Darry got home with a carton of eggs and started yelling that they wasted money on extra eggs. And Pony stood there after hours of finally looking at the text and would just back up.
Random girls dming asking if he was single.
It made him uncomfortable.
But Steve would grab his phone and say random things to the girls and they’d leave him alone.
He didn’t understand Pony’s memes but liked them cause they were on his page.
He or Darry probably asked later on what it meant.
“Uh-huh.” Is the response after Pony took an hour explaining it.
Still didn’t get it.
Followed every single person he knew or liked on Instagram or any platform.
“PONY CAN I USE YOUR HOTSPOT MY INTERNET ISNT WORKING!!!”
Pony just yelled back sure.
—
Darry
You thought Soda was bad nah Darry is a full on Karen-
Had probably had a flip phone until 2018
Loved Karen memes. Pony would see him liking them on fb and he’d just LAUGH.
Yelling at Pony to help him with his phone.
Pressed the wrong buttons all the time.
Probably had an LG-
DIDNT get texting 🤦♀️
Telling Pony not to talk to strangers on the internet.
Would have Rants on Facebook.
He pays for cable even though no one in that house used the Tv except him.
Would be so confused on the GC
“IF YOU ARE GONNA GO OUT WITH JOHNNY PUT ON YOUR MASK PONY!”
In the GC: Two Bit: Calm down Jamal dont pull out the nine.
Darry: Who is Jamal and what do you mean by pull out the nine??
Pony: PFT- CHILE I-
Darry: WAIT I SEARCHED IT UP IN THE GOOGLE DO NOT SAY INAPPROPRIATE THINGS IN THIS CHAT TWO BIT MATTHEWS!!!
It’s scary seeing him in our times-
—
Two Bit Matthews.
MEME LORD
All the memes all the jokes he understands it.
He is an intellectual.
Was barley passing school. He was usually on his phone in class.
He probably also had tiktok.
Dmed girls all the timeeee-
Hey good looking
You have been blocked by this user
WHA-
Yeah he didn’t realize girls didn’t like that
Had a whole page dedicated to memes because obviously.
DIDNT join virtual school at allllll
He was busy playing roblox like the cool kid he was.
He is legit a 9 year old-
Hated wearing masks but he did it.
Still hung out with Pony and the gang even with Corona.
He spammed the GC at like 4 a.m when he was super sleepy but still awake and asked all kinds of questions.
“If we call an orange orange can we call orange fruit?” Confusion.
He was something else-
—
Steve
Texted Soda during work.
Also texted Evie during work.
Google was his new best friend.
He used google a lot he just did.
Only had Instagram cause Sodapop begged.
He got used to it after a while.
Would get Ponyboy in trouble whenever he posted something that he knew could get him in trouble
Would post pictures of Darry doing random things and say “Superman” in the caption. LOL
Used LMAO a lottt for some reason
On the GC if someone was spamming he’d just say SHUT UP. Like a lot but he would.
He never wore his mask and if he did it was on his chin.
Pictures of chocolate cake.
That’s probably it lol.
——
That’s all. I hoped you liked it. Sorry I’m posting so late lol-

The Academy ❧ Part 1
Pairing: Reader x Multiple
Synopsis: Given the chance to rewrite your life for the better, how could you say no? Of course, it helps that the ones presenting this gift are crazy hot.
Word Count: 7.6k
Warnings: Nothing yet.
A/N: If this feels hastily thrown together, that's because it is. It does help that Reader's relationship with the boys is meant to feel rushed tho. So, the lack of relationship building between the three seems intentional 😋. Reader's personality switch-up is also intentional. I promise the quality will get better after this. Happy reading!
You liked coffee shops. One would argue a little too much. You were like an addict and you typically got your fix at Komori's Delights.
You liked coffee shops, solely, because of the people. You would sit at the same corner booth you've been sitting at for the past five years and listen in on their conversations like a creep.
You led a pretty basic life. Once you turned sixteen, the adoption agency helped you get an apartment. And then, when you turned eighteen, a job in customer service. Yet, since it mainly involved doing online chat services from home, you rarely interacted with anyone. With no family that you knew of, you were pretty socially isolated. And you weren't doing too well on the friends front either.
People didn't exactly line up to hang out with quirkless orphans. Loneliness stuck to you like a shadow.
The only thing you honestly looked forward to when you opened your eyes was hearing about other people's lives. You could admit to yourself that it was pathetic.
It was just something about watching "normal" people interacting with each other. Their stories, their conversations, how they responded to and handled everyday situations. All of it, all of them, thrumming with life. A simple passion you dreamed of having, but sadly, didn't possess.
You were able to quench a burning thirst within yourself just by watching them. Living through them. At first, you wondered what that thirst was. What did you gain from being around other people that you couldn't achieve in solitude?
It took you a few years to figure it out. You spent many restless nights in your cold twin bed at the group homes, then in the equally cold queen bed at your apartment, trying to understand what you were missing.
You were around seventeen at the time and a fresh-faced graduate. Instead of going to any of the graduation parties that many of your former classmates were throwing, you were sitting at your booth. The same one that protected you from the cold fall winds and overlooked the entire shop.
Two women were arguing in the corner about something or other. The conversation didn't seem interesting enough to listen in on until the shorter of the two shouted something.
"Nobody had seen you in over ten hours. We were all scared something had happened. I was scared something had happened."
You vaguely remember them hugging and making up after that. It seemed strange to you at the time that someone could be so worried about another person. You never really found yourself worrying about anyone. Especially not to the extent of being scared for their well-being.
It occurred to you later that night. With just three sentences, you had your answer. You wanted some type of connection. To be seen. You wanted to be somewhere where people would know your name, know your face, notice if you weren't there. You wanted to be wanted. Something to tie you to humanity.
Now, here you were three years later. In the same weathered leather booth, working the same reclusive job, still hungering for that connection. Nothing had changed in your life.
You wrapped your hands around the mug and brought it closer to your chest, sighing at the heat it provided. The smell of cocoa and cinnamon wafted under your nose, making you relax further into the booth. You had mainly ordered the hot chocolate to warm your cold fingers, but it did pair well with the sugar cookies that came with it.
The temperature had dropped faster this year with the coming of winter and you were oftentimes reminded of how lucky you were to even have a home to escape the cold in.
With the winter winds, came the mass of people who sought out the café to hide from the chilliness outside. Now, Komori's wasn't what you would call exceedingly popular, so it rarely saw the same person more than once.
But, over the past five days, two people came to the shop roughly around the same time every day. They usually came with four or five others, but it was never the same people. The only constants with the groups were the two men.
And what men they were.
They carried themselves completely differently; the only thing they had in common was being absurdly attractive. The first one was tall and built like a football player, with big blue eyes, bright hair, and an even brighter smile.
It was obvious he had many admirers if the way his friends hung onto his every word was anything to go by. Based on how often he steered the conversation, you could tell he was a natural-born leader with charisma to match. His allure was sunny and encompassing, but carefree.
The shorter male was just as handsome, but his appeal was subtle compared to the blond one. You wouldn't notice if you just glanced at him, but you got the feeling that that was a conscious decision on his part. He didn't seem the type to like attention, going through great efforts not to be seen.
He typically didn't add much to their conversations unless he was reining his partner in. Messy, indigo bangs casted a shadow over his nervous eyes and long, pointed ears twitched whenever his group got too loud. He had a swimmer's body, but, again, you wouldn't notice unless you stared at him long enough. And you've done a lot of staring.
You sighed again, taking a sip from your mug. It was completely on-brand for you to over-analyze some random men. You looked over to one of the circle booths across the room. They were here again. The two men and five more strangers. Well, they were all strangers to you, but for some reason, you felt like you knew them, at least a little.
Maybe because you had been listening in on their conversations for practically a week, but, that was neither here nor there.
You had lost all interest in anybody else that came in; all of your attention was focused on them and them alone. You would wait hours at a time for them to come in with new people and watch as they talked. Their conversations always pulled you in. Especially when they talked about a place called Yuuei.
The blond one would talk animatedly about the place to the others to the point where they got excited too. It happened every time with every group.
You had gone home with your curiosity peeked the first time you heard them mention it. You spent the entire night hunched over your laptop, scrounging the internet—again, like a creep—for anything relating to Yuuei.
You looked everywhere, but it couldn't be found. It wasn't on any maps. There were no Google links about it. As far as you could tell, it wasn't some kind of slang or anything. The only mention of it was on a Reddit conspiracy theory thread about a cult that shared the same name. You tallied your loses and suspected that it was just some type of club and the two of them were probably recruiting new members. And, technically, you were right.
You were brought back to the present when the hairs on your arms and neck stood up. But the shop door hadn't been opened and there was no breeze inside the café. You weren't cold.
Your gaze swept over the expanse of the shop; eyes, not so subtly, hopping from table to table. Finding nothing but people locked in conversation, until you glanced at the circle booth. Narrowed (E/C) eyes met bright blue. Instead of becoming embarrassed at getting caught and looking away, like most people did, the blond held your gaze and grinned.
He smiled at you.
Not a condescending smile; not an angry borderline-sneer; not even a half awkward half fearful kind of smile that you often got from strangers after you stared at them a little too long. Just a warm upturn of lips that felt like open arms welcoming you back home.
You looked away in hopes that it would be the end of the interaction, but not before seeing the blond elbow his friend and gesture over to you. All while still wearing the same smile on his face.
You stared down at the light brown liquid in your mug, telling yourself the steam wafting up from the hot chocolate was the reason your face was so warm. Yeah, that's why. That's the only thing that made sense.
Every other sound blurred in the background until the only thing you could hear were twin footfalls. Confident footsteps leading the way with reluctant ones following close behind. Getting steadily closer and closer. Each step a metronome to your ears. Were they coming towards you?
The muscles in your arms flinched with every sound of shoes hitting the linoleum floor.
Step, step, step, until—
"Hi! I'm Mirio. And this here is my buddy, Tamaki." He introduced, reaching a scarred hand out towards you, probably expecting you to shake it. You stared up at them with wide eyes, dumbfounded at the turn of events. No one in this café had ever approached you before, not even the staff. His voice was accented, which was surprising considering you never heard it when he was talking before. Maybe it was just hard to pick up on from across the room.
You weren't sure what prompted them to come up to you and if you took a glance over their shoulder, you could see that the people they were with seemed just as confused as you. Not wanting to appear rude, you paused before reaching out and shaking his hand. His palm was rough from the buildup of calluses, and It dwarfed your own. It was warm.
"I'm...Y/n." You introduced yourself cautiously, watching them as they moved to sit down in front of you. Tamaki on the inside, Mirio on the outside. You wondered if it was normal for him to just walk up to a person he didn't know and strike up a conversation like an old friend.
"We saw you sitting by yourself—"
Jesus, how sad of a picture did you make that they felt the need to come over just to end your suffering?
"—and came over to see if you wanted to join us." You? Join them? Honestly, you would love to sit with them and finally be included in the conversation instead of just listening to it from the outside. But, something told you that the feeling wasn't mutual.
You glanced back to their booth to find their friends staring at you. Or, at least they were before they noticed you looking at them. Diverting their gaze before you could meet any of their eyes head-on.
You knew if you sat with them, all you would end up with were judgmental glares and badly concealed whispers about you. How fun.
"No pressure, of course!" Mirio was quick to assure, taking your silence as unwillingness. And his assumption would be right.
"I, uh, don't think I'd fit in with your friends." He looked at you with a confused tilt of his head, resembling a puppy who didn't know what you were saying to it.
"Oh, I mean them," You gestured to the group of five people talking amongst themselves and sneaking occasional glances your way, "plus the other people you guys usually come in with."
Although the statement sounded innocent to you, you couldn't help but feel like you fucked up somehow. Their faces didn't change, but there was something about the way Mirio's hands twitched and Tamaki's shoulders tensed that made you feel...uneasy. Paranoia creeping up on you like phantom hands.
"Other people, huh," Mirio paused before giving you a boyish grin, "So, you were watching us." He said not unlike a lawyer who just caught the defendant red-handed. You could feel your heartbeat pick up as he leaned over the table towards you, hands laced together, but your face remained blank. Despite his playful tone, the glint in his eyes made you feel like you were being trialed for murder.
It struck you then just how creepy that might sound to them. You probably seemed like some kind of stalker. A weirdo that's been watching their every move for the past five days, which, of course, you were. He had every right to be suspicious of you.
"Mirio, ease off of her." Tamaki interrupted, face practically buried in the wall. That was the first time you heard him speak, and, God, were you thankful for his timing. It sounded like he had the same accent as Mirio, but, for the life of you, you still couldn't place it.
"Heh, I'm just goofing." He laughed, big blue eyes colored with mirth as he leaned back from you in favor of picking up one of your cookies. But his relaxed posture felt too tense for that to truly be how he felt. It seemed forced.
"Anyway, I wouldn't really call them friends. Just people we've met in passing while we visited. Do you...know any of them?"
You leaned back, unconsciously mirroring him. Your nails tapped against the table to the beat of the music playing softly over the speakers as you took your time quietly examining the two men before you. Your brain ran over the people they brought into the shop. Dozens upon dozens of faces and none of them were familiar.
"No, I can't say I do."
There was a moment of silence before any of you talked.
"Um, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but you're a pretty intimidating girl." He chuckled, scratching the back of his head. Blond strands falling out of his ponytail to frame his face. You held in a sigh. He wasn't the first person to tell you that and he probably wouldn't be the last.
You weren't sure what it was about your appearance that everyone found so daunting; it could be how hard you stared at people. Or how silent you were. Maybe you had a resting bitch face, but you couldn't be sure, since nobody was ever brave enough to tell you. Whatever it was, it definitely wasn't doing you any favors.
"Is that why he's so quiet?" You joked humorlessly, peeking at the man to your right—Tamaki, you reminded yourself—to find him already looking at you. Piercing purple-blue eyes made the hairs on your neck stand straight as he stared at you without turning away from the white walls. It threw you off to see he was staring at you so intently, considering you didn't think he was even paying attention to the conversation.
"Oh, you mean Tamaki? He's just a little shy around new people. Ain't that right, bud?" He elbowed his friend a little sharply.
"Uh, y-yeah."
"So, where are you guys from?" Your gaze shifted between them, yet again changing the conversation.
You focused on the twinge of pain coming from your finger as you picked at the skin around your nail, a nervous habit you took up when you were a child. It was how you developed such a good poker face. Keeping your emotions off your face and instead directing them to the poor skin of your nail beds.
"Is it that obvious we aren't from around here?" The blond—Mirio—joked, putting his on the back of the booth behind Tamaki's head.
"Your accents kind of gave you away." You joked back. It felt nice to do that. To have someone to joke with.
"Okay, well...It's a little...town called Yuuei," when you perked up, they shared a quick glance before Mirio continued, "It's really small, so you've probably never heard of it. We're actually heading back pretty soon."
"What's it like there? It's still in Japan, right? I assume it is, considering you both speak Japanese like it's your native language," you tried to reign in your excitement, but the prospect of getting some kind of information on this place was too much to pass up, "Do you have any pictures I could se—"
"She's really pretty. Don't you think, Tamaki?" he cut you off, asking the other boy like you weren't just talking, "Sorry if that was random." He laughed. You weren't an expert on social cues, but something about his smile made you think he wasn't really sorry.
You froze and you glanced over at Tamaki with wide eyes, finding he looked more embarrassed than you felt. You kept your face perfectly blank, hopefully not giving away how off-guard that caught you.
"Yeah," he agreed sheepishly, slouching in on himself, "She is." He sounded certain in his answer, which struck you as curious considering how unsure he seemed about literally everything. Almost like it wasn't his first time saying it. For some reason, you couldn't see Tamaki going around complimenting random people like a playboy.
Mirio? Sure.
But, Tamaki? Not so much.
"Oh...thank you." You mumbled, rubbing the tip of your nose and picking at the faded blue fabric of your scarf. You prayed the booth would open up like a Venus flytrap and swallow you whole. You were just rambling a mile a minute to two guys you just met. Was that his way of polity telling you to shut up?
Not only that, but you were at your wits' end here. The conversation kept changing so quickly, touching on topics you had no idea how to navigate. You felt way out of your element.
How sad was it that getting complimented was where your mind drew the line?
"You're welcome, Sunshine." He pointed down to your scarf, cookie still in hand, answering the unasked question in your furrowed brows, "Your scarf. Really cute, by the way." You looked down at the offending cloth wrapped around your neck.
A baby blue woolen scarf with little patterned suns grinning and wearing big green sunglasses. You hadn't really thought much of it when you grabbed it on your way out of the apartment this morning, but here you were wearing a children's scarf in front of two of the hottest guys you've ever seen in your life. They say hindsight was 20/20, but you'd say it was just a bitch.
The fact that they didn't answer your questions didn't go unnoticed, but maybe it was deemed inappropriate in their culture to ask someone about that kind of stuff if you weren't close. You decided to drop it, not wanting to give the impression that you were disrespectful, but kept it at the back of your mind.
___
You still had no clue why it happened, but this...arrangement continued longer than you thought it would. You didn't really know what to call it, but, whatever it was went on every day for the next couple of months. You would wait at your booth, they would come in with new people, talk with them for a little, and then split off to come talk to you.
You know you shouldn't have, but you felt kind of special knowing that they wanted to come spend time with you. You didn't comment on how fast you guys were moving. Choosing to, instead, push the uncertain feeling to the back of your mind.
It was becoming an unwelcome habit.
You didn't bring up the subject of their home again, weary of another awkward conversational lapse on your part. You often felt that creeping uneasiness come up whenever you turned the spotlight on them. You were just trying to make the small talk that you often saw in other people's conversations, but Mirio's eyes would always develop a certain...look and even poor Tamaki would tense up with every question. You decided it was better not to push for information about them at all.
That was your second mistake.
While you didn't ask them much, they seemed to want to know everything about you. They—mainly Mirio—asked you probing question after probing question about your life. About your job, where you lived, who you lived with, if you had any family, etc. The constant stream of questioning seemed odd to you, but you were more than happy to bask in the attention like a lovestruck teenager talking to her crushes.
That's how they made you feel.
Maybe you were just excited to finally partake in those conversations you watched everyone else have. To finally have people want to listen to what you had to say. Frantic to form a connection, no matter how weak the foundation was. The red flags were obvious, but desperation tended to make you colorblind.
You were very hesitant to inform them about your complete lack of quirk at first. You've seen how people react to that and you weren't too eager to lose the only people that could be considered your friends. However, it couldn't be hidden from them forever. Especially, since both of them were so quirk oriented.
They, surprisingly, reacted better than you expected when you told them. In fact, they almost seemed happy.
After you told them that, they wouldn't stop talking about Yuuei. Even Tamaki would jump in on the conversation to tell you things about their home. Alternating between demonstrating their quirks and explaining the wonder that was Yuuei.
It made you apprehensive to be around people with such powerful quirks. It always had, especially in high school. You hadn't known them for long, but you were sure they wouldn't hurt you.
They strived to be pretty accommodating to your anxiousness, which no one had ever done before. And, like a stupid puppy, you were getting attached to their kindness. They and their compassion were like a balm to that scorching thirst that you endured for the past twenty years.
In the short two months you knew them, they had somehow become a solid fixture. They had dug out a divot in your life and laid in it like they've always belonged there. It got to the point where you would call in sick to work just to stay with them a little longer.
Your fall from grace wasn't instantaneous. It happened gradually; inch by beautiful inch. You started falling the moment they came to sit with you. No, the moment they walked into the café was your first step towards oblivion. You were plunging to your demise and you only had yourself to blame. You allowed them a permanent room in your life, despite knowing their stay was temporary.
You're confident they had no idea how important they were to you. Nevertheless, no matter how sorry it sounded, you grew dependent on them. They plagued your thoughts like a disease: that brief period you experience between sleep and consciousness filled with thoughts of them, the moments of long silence at home were spent thinking about your boys, and even when you were with them, ironically, you couldn't stop thinking about them.
How did Mirio get all those scars? I wonder if Tamaki is eating enough? Where were they staying in the city?
You actively worried about them for some reason that was completely lost on you. You were so used to them being there, you weren't even sure how you used to live without them.
"We leave this Sunday."
Turns out you were gonna find out sooner than expected.
"S-so soon?" You choked out, setting your mug down. He had caught you so off guard that you started choking on your hot chocolate. After calming down and assuring them that you weren't dying, you were able to think.
You knew they were just visiting and they'd have to leave eventually. But, for some inane reason, you thought you'd have more time. More time to prepare. More time to...more time with them.
They had walked into the shop by themselves and headed straight for your booth like they had just been drafted for war, which set off emergency lights in your brain. You should have known they were delivering bad news.
"We've actually been here way longer than we were supposed to." Mirio laughed, scratching the back of his head.
"They had to call us back this time," Tamaki's soft-spoken voice imputed, but it seemed like he was talking to himself, "They've never had to call us back before."
"Called back? By who?" You looked between them expectantly.
"Uh, by our leaders. It's a small place, you know? So everyone is basically family. It only makes sense that they'd be worried about us taking too long." The blond explained, rubbing his hands together to get rid of the cold.
So, they were leaving because they were told to? Their leaders had that much sway over their lives?
"Couldn't you guys just...stay a little longer?" Now you were begging them to stay. But what else could you do? By the way they were talking, you could safely assume that they wouldn't be visiting you any time soon.
Mirio frowned, placing his big hand on top of yours. Big blue eyes a lot duller than usual. No matter how hard you looked you couldn't find that spark they typically had.
"I-Sunshine," he sighed, like a man passive to his fate, "it doesn't work like that. We have to go home."
You looked over at Tamaki who was already facing you, a huge improvement from when you first met. His head was down and if his pointed ears could droop like a sad puppy, you're sure they would. They didn't want to leave you just as much as you wanted them to stay.
There was no music playing in the shop to fill the silence between the three of you and the shop lacked the usual chatter. Seems like your earlier comparison had some truth to it. They may not be heading off to war, but they were still saying goodbye like they were. Like you'd never see them again. You felt lucky you even had the luxury of saying goodbye.
The sound of your heart beating against your ribs flooded your ears. Realistically, you knew they couldn't have drastically changed your life in a little over two months.
You could feel saliva collect in your mouth as your stomach gurgled ominously. Before them, every day you would wake up, work, go to the coffee shop, and go home without truly being awake. It felt like you were sleepwalking through your entire life. Living, but never alive. Never really there.
No one to see you. No one to hear you. You were nothing more than a ghost.
Your chest burned and your throat tightened. You couldn't go back to that. You'd be alone again. You couldn't be alone again.
You took a deep breath and schooled your expression, but you were sure that Mirio felt you shaking under his hand.
"What am I—" you swallowed the lump in your throat, "—What am I supposed to do now?" You whispered. But, who were you even asking: them or yourself? They were leaving your life just as fast as they came into it.
Mirio was quick to stand up and the leather booth squeaked under him as he slid into the seat beside you. The weight of his arm was comforting and heavy on your shoulders. His pointer finger and thumb closed in around your chin, turning you to face him.
"I don't..." His voice drifted off when he met your eyes, his lips twitching downwards into a frown. You could see the gears turning in his head before he nodded to himself. An internal conflict coming to an end. Something filled his eyes as he searched your face. It wasn't the spark that you were used to seeing, but a fire.
"Come with us."
Tamaki's head shot up, anxious indigo eyes looking between you before saying, "M-Mirio, are you sure she should come? She, um," his right hand moved to grip his left arm, "our culture is pretty different. S-she might not be able to...adjust."
"That won't be a problem. I'll look after her."
"That's what I'm worried about." He whispered loud enough for you to still hear, but the blond didn't seem deterred. He never looked away from you.
Mirio called you, pulling your attention back to him. You were pretty sure this was the first time you've heard him say your name.
"Look, Yuuie is...it's filled with people like you—like us," he gestured between the three of you, "A lot of people were looking for the same things you are and they found them in Yuuie." Every thing he said was filled with unwavering certainty, an unavoidable conviction that seeped into your bones. It was clear he honestly believed every word.
The conversation was moving too fast for you to fully understand what he was saying. One second, you're on the verge of a panic attack, and the next, you're being persuaded to run away with them? Crazy enough, you were actually considering it. It seemed like such a simple solution.
"You wanna be seen, right? Admired? Understood?—"
Were you that obvious?
"—Well, there's no better place to be seen than at Yuuie! Our leaders strive to provide a place where every single person is appreciated for their contributions. There's always new people coming along. People who desperately needed a home—a guiding hand. Right, Tamaki?"
"Yeah, I guess." Tamaki agreed with a resigned shrug of his shoulders, eyes downcast.
"See? I'm sure everyone there will love you! What do you have to lose?"
What did you have to lose? Your minimum wage job? Your one-room apartment? Your complete and utter lack of companionship?
If you did go with them, what would happen? You never really believed in all of that mumbo-jumbo about fate, but this seemed destined. Every solution to your problems is wrapped up in one big bow laid out in front of you. How could you say no?
So you didn't.
"Okay," you picked at your fingertips under the table, "I'll go with you." The corners of his lips twitched upwards before spreading into a grin. Thin lips moving to show off pearly whites. Even Tamaki looked happy, if not a little reluctant.
And at that moment, as they gazed at you like you were the only thing lighting their way, you never felt more sure of anything in your life.
"I swear you won't regret it, Sunshine.
___
You regretted agreeing to this. No matter how much you liked them, you never should have said yes. This whole thing had felt off-putting since you left.
If you were being truly honest with yourself, something didn't feel quite right since you met those two. Ever since the first time they walked into Komori's Delights, you knew there was something about them that caught your attention.
You originally thought it was because they were new and exciting...and hot. But, it was clear that from the start, your subconscious could tell something was off. Too bad you didn't listen to it.
The fact that Mirio and Tamaki came to pick you up was more than a little surprising, considering they didn't tell you they were coming beforehand.
Instead of taking an Uber, like you anticipated, they both were very insistent on taking the bus. Not one for needless confrontation, you agreed. You figured they knew more about this kind of thing than you did anyway. And they paid for the bus fare, so you couldn't complain.
The bus drove you about an hour out of the city before Mirio requested to get off; another thing that struck you as weird, but you didn't say anything. The three of you walked to a secluded point in the rode that led to an opening in the tree line. Well, you couldn't really call it secluded considering all the people gathered there.
The sheer amount of people waiting for you had stopped you in your tracks. Logically, you knew it was stupid to think there wouldn't be others coming with you, but a small part of you had hoped that you were the only one they were taking home with them.
Your hands gripped the straps of your backpack, sharp nails digging into taut leather. The weight loosening as you adjusted them on your shoulders. The trek so far had been strenuous. Your right ankle hurt from getting it twisted in a hole and mosquitoes were everywhere. Putting the physical strain traveling like this had on your body aside; the girl next to you had been talking your ear off nonstop.
You were all for making friends, but there should be a time and place to start talking about your fucking life story. And, considering your shoes were wet with mud and the humidity of the forest made your shirt cling to you like a second skin, now definitely wasn't the time. You didn't understand how someone could be so chatty in your current situation.
"—you quirkless too?"
"What?" Your neck snapped towards her so fast that if you were any quicker, you could have given yourself whiplash. What did she say?
"What? Are you deaf or something? I asked if you were quirkless too. As in, do you have a quirk or not?" You let the childish jab slide and focused on digesting the sentence. The grass tickled your throbbing ankle as you worked to keep pace with her long strides.
"You're quirkless?"
"Not just me. Every person I talked to is quirkless and I'm pretty sure I talked to, like, everyone here." Your eyes sharply swept over the group, keeping a headcount as you went.
If one out of one hundred people in Japan are quirkless, what were the odds that over twenty of them were gathered in the same place?
"Hey, it's supposed to be winter, right?"
"Yeah." You agreed absently, more focused on trying to get a glimpse of Mirio's blond hair at the front of the group or Tamaki's indigo hair somewhere at the back. You needed to talk to one of them. You needed to know what the hell was going on.
"So why the hell is it so hot?" She asked, pulling her brown hair into a low hanging ponytail. Her roots soaked with sweat, a true testament to the sweltering heat.
"I don't know." You stopped in your tracks, acutely aware of the people passing you, but remaining still. A rock thrown in the middle of a lake, but the stream still flowing nonetheless.
Too many things were happening for them to be a coincidence. You weren't a mathematician, but even you could see that the parts of this equation did not add up. Mirio and Tamaki showing up at your apartment, the number of people without quirks gathered in one spot, and the muggy heat in the forest combined to form a sizeable pit in your stomach.
It was a mistake to come here.
"Y/n? What are you talking about?"
Tamaki's quiet voice startled you out of your thoughts. You hadn't realized you were talking out loud; you hoped he hadn't heard much. You didn't even hear him approaching. His lithe frame stopped beside you as you readjusted your grip on your backpack.
Perhaps you were overreacting; Just being paranoid. And, if something actually was wrong, it wouldn't be wise to tell him about your concerns. Either of them, a small part of your brain whispered. Probably the logical part. For now, you'll keep your suspicions close to your chest. You started forward with a limp towards everyone else, Tamaki close behind you.
"Y-you shouldn't stray too far from the rest of the group. Are you hurt?"
"Um, my ankle is sore and it's only going to get worse the more I walk on it," you looked over the treetops as you walked by them. No birds. No squirrels. Nothing, "Which brings up a question: How long until we get to Yuuei?"
You watched him stumble over his words before answering.
"I-uh, I'm not really sure. But it...shouldn't take too long now," you watched from the corner of your eye as he pulled a plastic baggy full of small baked balls out of his backpack, "Here, it's takoyaki."
You paused.
"What do you want me to do with it?"
"We've been out here for a while, I-I thought you might have been hungry," a flush settled on the apples of his cheeks as he stared at the ground, "You don't have to eat it, o-of course. I was just worried about you."
Worried about you? You stared down at the small ball of dough and meat he placed in your hand and waited. You half expected him to tell you what he wanted in return for the food, but he didn't. You were quick to accept, alonst forgetting to say thanks in your haste, especially considering he was right about one thing.
You were starving. It felt like you hadn't eaten all day, which couldn't be right since the sun was still where it was when you began to walk. You could just chalk it up to the incredible heat and humidity in the forest. And your job definitely didn't make you the most athletic person, so you got tired easily.
"Why aren't you up front with Mirio?"
"I have to stay back here to make sure nobody gets...lost," his shoulders hunched as he pulled out more takoyaki, "Besides, I-I don't really like being front and center like Mirio. I'm not brave enough to lead people." It was just a hunch, but you got the feeling that this was about more than just your current situation. His words were weighted like they had some type of double meaning behind them.
Sure, Tamaki wasn't the most confident guy you met. And, yeah, he could barely get through a conversation with a little old lady without chickening out. But, you were able to read people; you were so good at it that it was basically your quirk.
"Brave? I think bravery is relative. Each person is brave on their own terms," the group's chatter became louder as you got closer, "You left your hometown for the first time and came to the city, right? Don't you think that's brave?"
"No," his voice was so soft you could barely hear him, "not really."
"Hmm," you finally bit into the ball of bread and octopus, "You shouldn't try to measure yourself based off of other people's limits. I think you're brave enough as you are." You could feel his gaze trail over the side of your face like he was trying to use his eyes to crack you open. You decisively decided to ignore it.
"Thank you, y/n."
___
With the help of Tamaki, you were finally able to find Mirio. Actually, once you pushed through the throng of people it wasn't exactly hard to find his broad figure. That's another thing you noticed about him; just how much he stood out. Even Tamaki, who tried his hardest to blend into the shadows, easily grabbed attention. Demanding the focus of any room they walked into, if not with mere presence alone.
Despite that, they weren't what you were thinking about. The temperature was high and the morale was low. The group's overall excitement had dimmed considerably since you started traveling and there were more than a few people grumbling and whining. But, really, who could blame them?
The sun bore down on all of you with an oppressing heat and it was only getting hotter. The air was heavy with the evaporated rain, making it feel more like you were wading through an impossibly deep pool instead of hiking through a forest. Every step you took felt weighed down as if the air had wrapped itself around every limb like a heavy blanket.
You weren't the only one feeling the effects of the journey. You picked up bits and pieces of conversation as you walked, more like limped, next to Mirio. Protests from the group grew louder the longer you went. Surrounded by heat and with no break in sight, the crowd got antsy.
"It's so hot—"
"...long are we gonna keep walki—"
"All the trees look...same."
"—we're in a forest, dumbass."
"You know what I mean, man! I swear...passed this one before."
You were running on fumes yourself, but they didn't see you complaining. You dragged your eyes over to Mirio. Fluffy, golden hair bounced in its ponytail with every step as he marched forward. The sun set a glow on his peachy skin, but there wasn't a single drop of sweat on him. Considering he lived here his whole life, you assumed he probably was just used to the crazy heat. He kept his eyes forward with a placid smile on his face. If he was bothered by the groups growing grievances, he definitely didn't show it.
You stumbled until your shoulder hit the nearest tree, bark scratching harshly against your sweaty skin, but your ankle throbbed so sharply that you didn't even care. It was so hot. You brought a shaking hand up to wipe at your forehead. You all were walking for so long, but it felt like the sun's rays only got more intense.
"Okay, I think that's enough. You're pushing yourself way too hard. You're practically dead on your feet," he put his backpack on his chest and squatted down in front of you, "Hop on, Sunshine."
Your eyes widened. Was he serious?
"Wouldn't it make more sense to take a break? I'm sure I'm not the only person tired here." You panted, growing conscious of the eyes on you.
"If we stop now, we won't make it before nightfall. Come on. I'm not getting up until you get on. Just think of me as your noble steed." He smiled at you like he had no clue how embarrassing he was.
It was a thoughtful gesture. He had offered to let you get on his back earlier when he saw you stumbling around, but you declined, which proved to be a dumb decision on your part. And the thought of walking on your bum ankle anymore made you queasy, even now it throbbed despite you resting.
You gave a quick glance sideways at the group and, of course, they were all staring, staring, staring with their judgy little eyes. You guys hadn't even been out here that long and they somehow formed a group that you clearly weren't welcomed in.
You sighed.
There was no use being unnecessarily difficult. You were holding up the group as it was, and you had a feeling that he actually wouldn't get up unless you got on his back.
So you buried your pride and hobbled over to him. His big hands grabbed the bottom of your thighs and hoisted you up, wrapping your legs around his waist. You weren't sure where to put your arms and just draped them over his shoulders.
His cool skin worked wonders for the extreme heat you were feeling that you couldn't help but cling to his back further. Was it inappropriate? Probably. And your clammy skin was likely getting sweat all over him. Did you care? Not at all.
However, you couldn't help but think of yourself as an annoyance. Sure, everyone else was complaining, but they were still on their own two feet. And here you were, forcing Mirio to carry you in his back because you couldn't handle the journey when he was probably just as tired as you.
"Hey, you wanna hear a joke?," he suddenly asked, pulling you out of your thoughts, "What did the man with two left eyes and two right eyes tell his doctor? He had double vision! Ha!" He laughed, a little too proud of his joke. Maybe it was because of how he said it completely out of nowhere or because of how utterly stupid it was, but it made you smile.
Then Mirio beamed at you from over his shoulder and his vivid blue eyes seemed like they shined even brighter when you chuckled at his corny joke.
Did he tell you a joke in hopes that you'd relax?
"If you thought that was funny, there's tons more where that came from. Heh, I really have my mentor to thank for this A+ material. Now, what do you call somebody with nobody and no nose?"
But you didn't hear the punchline as the heat and the vibration of Mirio's voice swayed you into a restless sleep.
Voices shouting, shouting all around you. Intense heat. Being carried through a dark purple cloud and then...nothing.
___
When you awoke, you were still on Mirio's back, but you weren't in the forest anymore. Instead, all you saw was a wall. Your eyes lazily swept over the great expanse of cement, muscles straining as your neck craned towards the sky. The sunlight hit your eyes, blurring your vision as you tried to see the top. The wall was taller than any of the buildings you saw in the city.
Was this another dream? Had to be. But it felt so real. Too real.
You tried to climb off of Mirio's back, but your body felt like it was being weighed down by the air alone. And Mirio's tightening grip definitely didn't help. You could barely keep your eyes open as you blearily looked around, but you couldn't make out anything but shapes.
"Don't worry, Sunshine. Just go ahead and rest those pretty, little eyes. I'll take care of you."
"M...irio...wh—" You could hardly keep your eyes open enough to finish your sentence. Darkness seizing your vision as Mirio's movements lulled you back to sleep. Your hearing was the last thing to go.
"How long did this group last, Sir?"
"Two days."
"A whole two days?! Pretty impressive, all things considered. Right, Sir?"
"Yes, Mirio..."

Jungkook x y/n (as a famous artist) Pt.5
pairing: reader x Jungkook
genre: fluff, romance, for entertainment purposes
Suddenly it felt like everyone wanted you to meet the seven handsome and talented idols and collaborate, but you could only wish, you believed they didn't even know who you were...or so you thought
part 4: here
-----
Part 5- TIME SKIP
(a/n I will do another time skip so it wont turn out to be a 500 part fanfic)
Mini Billboard awards recap:
After the drunken hotel chaotic night you all were late for rehearsals, both your and BTS’s staff looked for you guys’ everywhere in the morning and the last place they thought to look for you all was in Jin’s room. Let's just say it was in general an interesting experience to find eight adults sleeping soundly in uncomfortable random positions.
You all finally headed to your rehearsals for the performances. They invited you to watch them rehearse when you were taking a break from your own rehearsal. Even though the guys were tired, hungover, and their muscles ached from sleeping all over the place; they did such an amazing job at rehearsal, they were so professional.
During the live award show your fans and ARMYs lost it everytime you guys would interact during the awards; the fact that you had met them last night and you all seemed to be such good friends now made fans so happy. Once again your name and BTS’s were going viral on social media; a bunch of ‘fancams’ were filmed and posted focusing on you all.
You and BTS won all the categories you we’re nominated for that night and your performances went great too. That night after the award show ended, instead of going to the Awards After Party, you all decided to not go and instead hung out in Jin’s room again for the night. You ordered room service and champagne (this time everyone was only allowed to have 2 glasses max.).
After being all drained form the long day, you all went to your personal rooms. Jungkook again offered to take you to your room. When you arrived at your door you turned and looked at eachother, this time sad smiles painted your faces, you had held in the tears when you where in Jin’s room because you felt sad your first real friends in the industry were going back to Korea tomorrow just like that.
Now you were standing in front of Jungkook, the man of your dreams, a literal fantasy that came true all thanks to your fans and supporters; you couldn’t help but tear up at the thought of letting someone like him go.
You broke eye contact and turned towards the door to hide your tears, a small sniff from behind you made you stop dead in your tracks. Jungkook turned you around and hugged you tightly as he hid his face in the crook of your neck. You also wrapped your arms around him in response.
He loosened his hold and avoided eye contact with you as he was getting more and more emotional, his eyes where red and glossy; he cleared his throat and said “Well I think I should get going, It was so nice hanging out with you y/n- and meeting you, good night” he gave you another tight sad smile and walked off with his head hung low.
You reached him and held onto the back of his shirt, “Don’t go....” you sniffed and played with the back of his shirt. “Do you want to.. maybe... hang out a little longer? O-only if you want to” you said awkwardly, but he smiled and nodded.
You went to the terrazze you had visited just the day before and sat on the outdoor chairs. You sat there talked all night. You stayed up until you could see the sun slowly rising; you both stood up, taking the sunrise as a sign to go back inside. Before you could even begin to move towards the door, “Y/n, can I hold you one more time?” Jungkook said, he was trying so hard to smile and not make you cry, but his little voice crack as he said it betrayed him. You sobbed and hugged him again, after a while he sat down, sitting you on his lap. You stayed like that until you received a “wake up” phone call from one of your staff members.
----
In the morning you all met each other outside the hotel, the boys said goodbye to you one by one hugging you and saving your phone number in theirs. They even made plans, comparing your schedules and timezones, so that they could all facetime you daily.
While you waited for your assigned cars to pick you up, you all teared up and huddled together saying goodbye once again. Paparazzi were peeking through the crowd of security and staff members to get an insight to the sad goodbye.
----- time skip ----
It has been almost a year since the Jimmy Fallon Show. Even though the distance made everything more complicated, the guys have done everything in their power to make time in their busy days to dedicate time for you. After almost a year of daily video call conversations and catch-ups you have become such good friends, they even call you ‘yeodongsaeng’ (little sister) now; (the only one who doesn’t call you that is Jungkook tho, he calls you by your name or by random nicknames).
They have kept their promise after all this time, they facetime you EVERYDAY, they have never missed a day where they don’t call you, sometimes not all the seven members can be there for the call, but even if there is only one BTS member available, you WILL recive a call from them.
You also have individual calls with the guys from time to time:
Jin calls you once in a while when you are making dinner to help you/guide you and or just talk to you.
Suga calls when he is stuck writing lyrics or creating beats for new songs, or just for musical advice. You are always the first to hear new BTS music now.
Jimin calls when he feels like talking, you have become each other's personal psychologists
J-Hope calls you every couple days to have “lunch together” through a screen.
RM calls you too to chat a lot, you both recommend each other good books and even exchange lyrics from time to time. He also asks you to revise english lyrics to make sure they sound okay.
Taehyung calls you for pretty much everything: for advice, opinions, to catch up, for help, to keep him company etc. He always knows how to make you laugh, and regularly interrupts your calls with other members.
Jungkook…. He doesn't just call you “sometimes”, he not only participates in the ‘daily facetime group call’, but he also calls you everyday before you go to bed, no matter what time it is in Korea or how busy he is, we always calls and to wish you a good night sleep; keeping you company and not hanging up until you fall asleep. Plus you two constantly text back and forth 24/7.
You loved calling the guys and catching up with them every day, those calls were the highlight of your day; but every time you got a phone/video call, text, mail, snap, ANYTHING that was sent by Jungkook, your heart always skipped a beat; you felt tingles on the tips of your fingers every time you answer back; you smile stupidly at your phone and even now can’t sleep without your nightly virtual tuck in from Jungkook.
(Deep down you knew your ‘platonic crush’ had become a real crush but you still denied it because in your mind, still, dating him seemed something impossible, but after every conversation you two have had over the course of almost a year left no doubt in your mind, he was the one for you)
-----
One day, you visited your label’s building, you had a scheduled meeting pretty early in the morning, you had never been this early anywhere, it was currently 5:30 am. and you were just arriving. Once you step into the meeting room you are greeted by the intimidating group of businessmen and businesswomen who are part of your team. Even though they are intimidating and powerful; they are kind hardworking people; they really respect you and always listen to what you want or have to propose.
Walking in, you are greeted respectfully by them; the boss of the company stands up, gives you a side hug, and opens the chair next to his, inviting you to sit there, after you take a seat and your manager takes a seat next to you too. The meeting begins going over normal business stuff you don't really understand, (Sam would probably just translate the info later into simple words for you.) They talked about numbers, statistics and percentages until someone’s assistant said the ‘important person’ they had been waiting for was finally ready.
You turned to the door as you expected the ‘important guest’ to come in through the door, but instead his video call was answered and projected on the room’s screen from a laptop.
You recognized him immediately, he was BTS’s PD Bang Si-hyuk, he was the owner of BTS’s label company. You greeted him through the screen in Korean but he actually greeted you back in English before greeting your team.
the meeting’s summary:
Bang Si-hyuk talked about how much BTS liked you as a person and as an artist; and how the Hybe Corporation also really admired and respected you.
He invited you to Korea next week to meet the Hybe corporation, and overlook some business proposals
He also offered for you to participate in RUN BTS, while you were there and hang out with the boys if you agreed. He hinted you would be seeing them more often, which made you more confused
You agreed to go and to visit the company and OBVIOUSLY to see the guys, but still, you were confused as to why this offer was being made, why now, why you, why?
After you kindly thanked him, you also asked why he was doing it. You were confused why make such a big deal for you to visit, and what he meant by ‘business proposals’ you were to overlook there.
Bang Si-hyuk tried to explain in short and simple words; he explained that: Hybe and your label company had had meetings before, overlooking the possibility of merging part of your company under your name with Hybe, they were not only interested in collaborating with you, but actually working with you. This would give you many more opportunities as an artist and for your label’s name. (your company has connections to other music companies in other countries too, but this time it felt more of a big deal to you than the others tbh)
In conclusion if you agreed, and signed the contract; you could become part of the Hybe company while staying under your Label’s name
By doing this, it meant: 1. you had an extra contact in Korea (just like your company had in other countries) 2. extra work opportunities (thanks to your Korean speaking skills and influence) 3. possible future collaborations with BTS mainly, plus other K-pop artists 4. becoming a producer for other artists under the Hype record label (something like what Suge does irl; you are now able to produce or work behind the scenes making music for you, BTS, and others. a.k.a your dream come true) 5. SO ON AND SO ON.
You asked for the papers and after revising them with your lawyer and team you signed it, satisfied and excited tho what's to come.
You worked hard and finished all of your weekly tasks and even worked on things you had scheduled for next weeks. Before you knew it you were on your way to Korea…
You traveled on your private plane; you used it mainly to travel and avoid creating crowds in airports. (this was safer for you, your team and fans.)
When you arrived at Seoul, as you were getting off the plane and looked up after watching your feet as you went down the plane’s steps you saw seven boys stand out from the other people. They ran towards you and huddled around you hugging you tightly, they didn't let go of you, even as you all walked towards the assigned cars and again tightly rode the same car together like that one time after meeting on your way to the hotel. Staff members laughed at the Deja vú they felt as they saw a recreation of that chaotic day a year ago
It felt as if you all had never left each other, no weird silence, or awkward interactions, you all picked up where you left off.
When you arrived at the Hyde building, Hybe bilingual staff greeted you and your team, introducing themselves as the people who would be in charge of our care while visiting.
They took you and the few team members from your staff traveling with you to one of the floors where they gave your team some temporary office cubicles, so they could do their jobs while away from their cubicles back in America.
The Hybe staff also showed you to a private studio/office next to Sugas’s, it was decorated for you, it was spacious, comfy and waay better than your studio/office from back home. They told you they wanted you to have a personal space where you could hang out or work, since it was probable you would now be traveling back and forth from Korea and the US, due to the new business alliance between your companies.
The guys showed you around the building and introduced you to many Hybe staff members. They all made you feel at home.
You visited PD Bang Si-hyuk at his office and met him in person. He was so kind and welcoming, totally opposite from what you were expecting. He told you how excited he was for you to be part of the team and to work with your company. He also asked you if you could record a short video for his nieces who loved you.
Then, after finishing the tour the guys took you to their favorite restaurant in Korea; they taught you how to eat Korean food, how to properly hold chopsticks and about general Korean culture.
They showed you to the nice building of apartments where they currently lived and where you would also be staying when you came here.
You all toured you apartment and hung out the rest of the afternoon, enjoying each other's company.
After having dinner and chatting for hours the boys waved you off as they left your temporary home; they wanted to stay up and drink (again Jimin’s and Jin’s idea) with you but they knew you were super jet lagged from the time difference, fighting off sleep as you tried to enjoy your time with the guys.
They lived in the same apartment complex, but a different building, (a lot of famous Korean celebrities stay here too due to the security and convenience)The apartment complex was almost like a hotel resort or a private villa/island, it was huge, it had everything, form tennis courts, gyms, cafés, etc. It was also close to all the major ‘artist’ studios, sets, buildings.
So once the guys left, all they had to do to get home was ride the elevator down to your building’s the main floor, walk a bit, enter their building, get on an elevator, go up a couple floors, walk a little more and then into their shared million dollar apartment that was a literal castle compared to your apartment. (your apartment was big and luxurious too, but theirs was a multimillion dollar apartment)
You just arrived and felt so at home, everyone was so nice and promised to take good care of you. Nobody looked down at you or your team for being foreign or for being the ‘new guys’. Everything felt again like a dream. One day you are talking about BTS to your fans, the next you meet them, the next you are making contracts with the company they work for, the next you will be working with them; What’s next?
For now you are in Korea for two weeks max. The plan was to introduce you to the company, talk about future plans, projects, etc., and once that is done, go back to America and every couple of months or weeks depending on the schedules, travel back to Korea, etc, etc.
----
You brushed your teeth as an uncontrollable smile painted your face. Once you got ready for bed and finished texting your staff members making sure they were comfortable and well taken care of after a long day, you heard a knock at the door. You cringed at the noise, you felt as if you were hung over almost, in reality really you were just super Jet lagged (the day before coming here you binged watched a TV show in one night, packed just hours before leaving to the airport and ditched sleep all together before and during the plane ride...stOpid) You stumbled around the unknown apartment with the lights off towards the door; it was not that late at night but who would be looking for you right now.
When you looked through the peephole you recognized them immediately; their hair was now a little longer from the last time you saw them, they had different earrings decorating their ears, they seemed different, still super attractive, but that smile did not change at all, it was still that adorable bunny smile that seemed melt your heart every time.
You quickly typed the alarm code, unlocked the multiple locks on the door and swung it open, revealing a nervous Jungkook, you had hung out with him and the guys less than an hour ago, but now he was nervous… (he was scared you changed your mind about him after almost a year from meeting and seeing each other in person, he was scared that he was not you celebrity crush anymore, he was scared that the real feelings he had developed form all your daily video calls, texts, random phone calls were not corresponded, he was scared that you had forgotten about those night at the terrazze, he was scared you had changed after a year).
As he stood frozen you couldn’t wait or control yourself any longer and you flung yourself towards him; you hugged him as tight as your body could (during all the time you hung out today you never once had a moment just the two of you alone) but as you leaped and wrapped your hands around him you started thinking about him and how he could be feeling right now and couldn't help but feel a little insecure, (what if he had come all the way back here to tell you whatever happened a year ago in New York at that terrazze was a mistake, that all the calls and texts were just friendly exchanges, what if he came to tell you you were better off as friends or worse.. better of as colleagues…)
It took Jungkook a split second to respond to your hug, you loosened your grip as those thoughts had sworn in your head, and after realizing Jungkook was not hugging you back, so you prepared yourself to get your heart broken… but that all went away as Jungkook wrapped his arms around you, he lifted you a little off the ground as you rewrapped your arms around him, hiding your your face in the crook of his neck. You inhaled his scent as he held you even tighter against him. He rocked your bodies lightly as you held each other in front of your door.
After, you loosened the hold on each other, but didn’t let go, you looked into those beautiful dark brown eyes you had missed and had prayed to see in person one more time after all this time; He lifted his hands from around you and cupped your face, lightly stroking your cheeks back and forth with his thumbs. “hi” you said, just like that one time in that New York terrazze, “hi” he responded with an adoring smile as his eyes traveled through your face, looking at your every detail, he didn’t want to miss anything, h was so glad to finally see your face in person instead of on a 2-D cellphone screen.
As you two stood outside looking at each other you suddenly shivered a little from a cold air breeze that swooped by, it was pretty chilly outside compared to your comfy apartment’s room temperature, it was almost winter; you gently took your arms from his neck and wrapped them around you to warm you up. You had answered the door barefoot, in your pajama shorts and oversized flowy t-shirt without thinking twice. But you then realized Jungkook was wearing a short sleeve oversized shirt too, it was pretty chilly outside and he came all the back to your apartment not wearing a hoodie or jacket.
“Omg Jungkook it's cold outside why wouldn’t you wear a jacket, jeez” you said as you pulled on his arm leading him inside the apartment to keep him from the cold. “Actually I came back here to get my hoodie back,” Jungkook said. A small “Oh…” escaped your lips as you switched on the light illuminating the once dark room “I see” you again said, almost whispering, avoiding his look as you walked deeper into the room to look for the missing hoodie. You felt disappointed almost, ‘he came back for his hoodie duh, why would he have bothered coming back to ONLY see you’ you though as you looked in the living room, you didn't see the hoodie there so you then went to the small dining room next to the kitchen to see if it could be there, ‘maybe he took it off before we all sat and ate the take out dinner for dinner’. You spotted the black fabric neatly sung over the seats’s back where JK sat earlier.
Jungkook took off his shoes and tried to catch up with you before you could take the hoodie off the seat and after seeing your reaction to what he had just said; yes he actually did leave his hoodie by accident, but that wasn’t the reason why he came all the way back, so when he saw how your face dropped and heard that reply of yours, it gave him the courage to say why he came back.
He took a deep breath and cleared his throat before saying “Um, y/n, actually, ‘me forgetting my hoodie’ was just an excuse to come back here and see you again” he swallowed and looked down at his feet. “I don’t really care about the hoodie, I wanted to come here and see what would happen; if you would be excited to see me alone, if you would be glad or happy it was me at the door, you have no idea how bad I wanted to be the first and only one to hold you as you got of the plane, how badly I wanted to run towards you, picking you up and not let go, how bad I wanted to spend the day just the two of us and just- um *clears throat again*” he fiddled with his fingers, he was so nervous to admit that outlawed he didn't even notice you turning back to look at him as he confessed. You found his actions to be so adorable and cute.
You giggled and stood in front of him, once you were closer you carefully took his fiddling hands in your left hand and used your right hand to lift his face up to look at you. “Thank you, you made me really happy by coming here to see me, I missed you so much too and couldn’t wait to hang out with you again, I only wished for an opportunity where only the two of us could hang out, but you took the courage to come all the way back here, thank you” you responded to him and his actions with a warm and loving smile that made Jungkook’s legs feel like giving out and heart feel as it could explode.
He again observed your face now under a brighter light, he couldn’t believe how your face could look so, or more, beautiful then you face with the light makeup you wore just hours ago. You broke eye contact and spoke, “So um do you have to leave anytime soon?” as you looked anywhere but his face. Your tired eyes and shy tone warmed his heart even more “No, I don’t….. why?” he lowered his face, closing a big gap of space in front of you, forcing you to stop avoiding eye contact and look at him again.
“Well um I was thinking we could hang out again tonight. I could make some…. *you yawn* popcorn and watch a movie, or I could make some coffee and we could talk, or…..” you wanted to keep going but you felt another yawn coming so you stopped talking to fight it off. Jungkook chuckled at your adorable yawns. He took the hoodie he had forgotten in the first place form the chair behind you and put it over your head.
“Y/n you are tired, I think it’s best if you rest and tomorrow we could find a way to hang out again just the two of us…” he said as he fixed the hoodie around you, but you cut him off, “Please don’t leave, I haven’t seen you in a year Jeon Jungkook.” you realized how needy and clingy you sounded, but you actually did want to hang out with him.
You rubbed your tired eye, fixed the hair around your face (your hair was inside the hoodie but some baby hairs tickled your face) and looked back at him, his eyes were wide and surprised at your reaction to him leaving, “I’m sorry, it’s okay, I get it. I don’t want to make you do anything you don’t feel like doing, it’s okay...guess i will see you tomorrow then” you said as you tried to hide the sad look off your face and smile at him.
He was moved, the fact that you didn’t want him to leave meant so much to him, he took you face in his hands and kissed your forehead softly, he then kissed the end your your nose he then kissed the space next to your lips, he didn’t want to kiss you and make you feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of; but you being you, immediately spoke as he kissed the side of your lips ``aye that is not my lips...what a tease” in a sleepy tone. He chuckled as he opened his eyes and looked at you. You had your eyes closed, head slightly looking upwards and a smart smile, as you found your own reaction funny.
He chuckled and blurted out: “cute..”. You opened your eyes to clap back, but before you could even open your mouth and say something back he leaned in again, shuting you up real quick…. but he leaned slowly…..very slowly…..v eee r y slowly…...SUPER SLOWLY, he was taking his dear time, he now discovered he liked teasing you like this. You got impatient and just closed the space between you for him, giving him a short peck before pulling away. This was the first kiss you have had after a year; you walked around him to tease him back for teasing you in the first place. He stopped you by placing his arm around your waist, “Are you expecting me to accept ‘that’ as our first kiss after being apart for a year…” he said.
“Oh, so I’m not a good kisser? Was that not good enough.. okay… I guess I-'' you played the victim but were quickly cut short by Jungkook pulling the hoodie on you towards him and stealing a kiss from you.
You smiled against his lips at his neediness, but kissed him back as you placed your hands on the back of his head, sliding your fingers through his hair. He slid his hands under your hoodie and placed them on your bare waist, and pulling you even closer. You kissed each other slowly, taking in every detail about the kiss, not wanting to miss a thing; as things heated up you picked up the pace, the sweet kiss turning hungry and deeper. He moved his hands from your waist downwards and your once delicate fingers playing through his hair suddenly pulled softly making him groan against your lips; he squeezed his hands behind you making you whimper against his lips, he used this as an opportunity to deepen the kiss even more; he had lifted his hands and placed back on your sides as he softly caressed your skin under the hoodie, you wanted to to that too; so you slid your hands from the back of his head, down to his chest and too, under his shirt, you could feel his abs tense as your cold fingers lightly brushed against his skin, continuing to slide your hands around his torso, and gently running your fingers on his skin. That action made his breath hitch at his throat and his heart skip a beat.
The two of you kissed passionately taking the other deeper, not wanting to let go. After a while you both slowly pulled away, breathlessly and numb from the kiss, you both wanted to go further but knew it was not time yet. You rested your foreheads together as you catched your breaths, looking adoringly to the other person, swollen lips, rosy cheeks and curious eyes.
He spoke first, as he used his finger to soothe the skin under your eyes, “You need to rest y/n, come on”, pulling your arm and leading you. You thought that meant he was leaving, but this time you didn't fight him back; but instead of leading you towards the door he lead you to the big fancy couch in the living room, he turned on the TV to a random Korean variety show and lowered the volume to the point were if there isn’t absolute silence you couldn’t hear a thing the TV was playing.
You both sat on the deep couch, he lent you his arm behind your head as a pillow as you sat closely next to him, the silent TV and warmness coming from the handsome man next to you quickly started to drowse off. Jungkook planned to keep you company until you fell asleep and then leave you to rest comfortably.
JK watched the screen as he waited for you to fall asleep. Once he could feel your breathing rhythm became deeper indicating you officially had given in to sleep, he looked down to you and smiled at how adorable you looked, he stared at you for a little longer as he reflected on how lucky he was his once celebrity crush now actual crush was so close to him; he was so glad to have such an amazing person in his life and prayed he never had to be without you in his life ever again; he badly wished he could have you as his and only his but he understood the circumstances, he was happy he could athletes share precious moments like this with you.
Jungkook shifted in his seat as he was about to stand up to leave you the full couch to rest, but you turned towards him, and wrapped your arms around him. “Don’t…” you whispered against his shirt, you were asleep but your sleepy conscience managed to say that. Jungkook couldn’t resist, he planted a soft kiss on the top of your hair, he then pulled you back with him from a sitting position to a horizontal one as he laid his back on the couch taking you with him without waking you up. He too quickly gave in to sleep as he held each other.
