❥ whenever i think of my love for saihara i am reminded of that post thats like “when saihara gets horny he gets poetically thirsty”. you ask him to dirty talk you and he tells you a sonnet.

❥ he has random knowledge of several things. he and kaito would talk about the stars together because of the stars role in navigation. he can recognize bugs from around the world when gonta shows them. he has knowledge of random cultural things, especially things the locals do day-to-day, little acts of superstition and worship, and celebrations. he actively practices several things he picked up while traveling and korekiyo is fascinated.

❥ he’s a polyglot. he speaks in dialects of obscure regions in various local languages, but he knows some common languages too. i’d say for sure french, english, japanese, porteguese, mandarin chinese, and telugu, but i might just be making assumptions. still, an ultimate adventurer can’t get anywhere if he can’t communicate

❥ he was always a loner as a kid, and thought bugs were his only friends. other kids bullied him frequently

❥ when he was around seven, he got lost on a hiking trip with his dad and older brother. he wandered from camp to catch a bug and couldnt find his way back. on the second night, he made his way to a cave. he woke up being sniffed by wolves.

❥ when he was nine, a local camper found him. she thought he was a local kid. they continued to talk through out the years, and she was the reason gonta didn’t completely forget japanese

❥ he rejoined society at age fifteen. he had trouble adjusting, but he’s allowed to visit his wolf family. he struggles because he is smart, he has all this knowledge, but due to years of almost no human contact he has trouble communicating and understanding the human part of the world around him

❥ i hate kodaka but korekiyo was a victim of grooming and i refuse to believe otherwise. 

❥ also hate the predatory gay stereotype present in his love hotel scene
