Can You Use Sulfate Shampoo After Keratin Treatment? Understanding Keratinized Scales, Maintenance, and Healthy Nails
Are you someone who has recently undergone a keratin treatment or is considering getting one? If so, it's essential to understand the do's and don'ts of post-treatment care to maintain the longevity of your results. In this comprehensive guide, we will address the common question of whether sulfate shampoo can be used after keratin treatment, provide insights into keratinized scales, offer advice on maintaining your keratin treatment, and share tips for promoting healthy nails. So, let's dive in! Can You Use Sulfate Shampoo After Keratin Treatment? One of the primary concerns after a keratin treatment is finding the right shampoo that won't compromise the results. Sulfate shampoos are known to be harsh and can strip away the keratin coating from your hair. To prolong the effects of your keratin treatment, it is advisable to opt for sulfate-free shampoos. These gentle formulations are specifically designed to keep your hair healthy and nourished while preserving the keratin-treated strands. Look for shampoo products specifically labeled "sulfate-free" to ensure you're giving your hair the care it needs. Understanding Keratinized Scales: During a keratin treatment, the hair is infused with a protein called keratin, which helps to repair and strengthen damaged strands. Keratinized scales are the visible result of this treatment. These scales provide a protective layer, enhancing the hair's shine, reducing frizz, and making it more manageable. However, it's important to note that keratinized scales are temporary and will gradually diminish over time due to everyday wear and tear. To maintain their appearance for longer, follow the maintenance tips outlined below. How to Maintain Keratin Treatment: 1. Avoid sulfates and harsh chemicals: As mentioned earlier, sulfate shampoos can strip away the keratin coating. Additionally, avoid styling products containing alcohol, as they can dry out your hair and reduce the longevity of your keratin treatment. 2. Use a wide-toothed comb: After a keratin treatment, it is advisable to use a wide-toothed comb. This reduces the chances of hair breakage and minimizes damage. Avoid using brushes with bristles that may disrupt the keratinized scales. 3. Limit heat styling: While blow-drying, flat ironing, or curling your hair, keep the heat at a medium to low setting. Excessive heat can damage the keratin treatment and cause the scales to fade more quickly. 4. Regular touch-ups: Depending on the type of keratin treatment you receive, touch-ups may be necessary every few months. Consult with your hairstylist to determine the best schedule for touch-ups, ensuring your hair remains healthy and vibrant. 5. Protect your hair: Before swimming, apply a protective leave-in conditioner or serum to protect your hair from the damaging effects of chlorine and saltwater. Additionally, wearing hats or using UV-protective hair sprays can shield your hair from the sun's harmful rays. Promoting Healthy Nails: Your nails also require care and attention, especially if you're investing in a keratin treatment. Here are a few tips for maintaining healthy nails: 1. Keep nails well-groomed: Regularly trim and shape your nails using a good-quality nail clipper and file. Opt for a squared or rounded shape to prevent them from becoming brittle or prone to breakage. 2. Moisturize cuticles: Apply a cuticle oil or cream to keep your cuticles hydrated and healthy. This will promote stronger nails and prevent hangnails. 3. Protect your nails: Wear gloves when engaging in tasks that may expose your nails to harsh chemicals or excess moisture. This will prevent damage and maintain their natural strength. 4. Balanced diet and hydration: Nails require proper nutrition to grow strong, so ensure your diet includes a variety of vitamins and minerals. Additionally, drink plenty of water to keep your nails hydrated from the inside out. 1. Sulfate-Free Shampoo 2. Keratinized Scales 3. Keratin Treatment Maintenance 4. Healthy Nails Care Conclusion: By following these guidelines, you can extend the lifespan of your keratin treatment and promote healthier, shinier hair while also maintaining strong and manicured nails. Remember to use sulfate-free shampoos, embrace hair-friendly practices, and nourish your nails through proper care and a balanced diet. With these proactive measures, you can enjoy the benefits of a keratin treatment for an extended period, ensuring your hair and nails look their best Discover the secrets of Keratone â learn about keratin treatments, maintenance tips, and how to use keratin products effectively. According to legend, the Birman Cat is the product of a miracle that took place in the Lao Tsun temple in Burma. Legend tells of a temple cat that was so magical that it could attract the attention of the goddess Trim-Kyan-Kse.

Historically, the Sacred Burma cat is believed to have been given its distinctive appearance by the Burmese Goddess. The blue iris colour is thought to have been gifted to the cat by the goddess, Tsun-Kyan-Kse. She was a golden goddess who was adored by the Kittah priests.
According to legend, the first Sacred Birman was a cat whose soul traveled to heaven through the kitty's lungs. This cat was then accompanied by its priest's soul, who transformed it into the Sacred Birman.
The Birman is one of the oldest cat breeds. It was originally bred in Burma, now Myanmar. Although its origin is not entirely clear, its predecessor was the copper cat, Wong Mau. During World War II, the cat population was nearly decimated. But in 1967, it was recognized as a breed in both the United States and Britain.

English Bulldogs: The Best And Healthiest Foods For English Bulldog ..!
English bulldogs are an ancient breed originally created by breeding fierce animals with smaller ones. When used during bear or bull baiting events (essentially dogfighting), humans could protect themselves while betting on which animal would win out and thus make money off the spectacle. The result is an adorable medium-sized puppy who wants nothing but love. Today, despite their aggressive origins, these dogs have been bred to be sweet, gentle, and timid; they no longer look like what you'd expect from a traditional English Bulldog anymore!
For this reason alone, if you've been thinking about getting an English bulldog, then you must know how to feed them because they might suffer from different health issues such as food allergies, kidney disease, hypothyroidism, Cushing's Disease, and more. Unfortunately, there is not enough information available on the internet related to the best foods they can eat to maintain optimal health. So, we created a helpful guide for you that will provide you ample guidance.
Types of Bulldog
The Bulldog is not a single breed but rather many different types of breeds. Name the word "bulldog," and an image of a muscular, hefty dog with a wrinkled face comes to mind for most people; but there's more than one type! Here are some following types of bulldogs.
1) Olde English Bulldogge
The Olde English Bulldogge is also known as a pure-breed American pit bull terrier. These can get up to 100 pounds and are not recommended for apartment living because of their size; they need room to run around. In addition, the United Kennel Club bred them to avoid interbreeding with other dogs like the American Staffordshire Terrier, making it lose its "true" pedigree. The Olde English Bulldogge was originally developed to preserve the breed's original look before showing restrictions had been applied in the UK. It has a larger build than the modern-day Bulldog but still looks relatively similar otherwise.
2) The French Bulldog
Frenchies are the perfect dog for anyone who desires a faithful, intelligent pet. They have bat-like ears and come in many colors, with their most popular is black and white and cream or brown combinations of these two colors. These dogs can be great companions to individuals living alone due to their loving nature, which is entertaining because they require constant attention from owners! French Bulldog's intelligence has been proven by how quickly it responds when given commands such that some people call them "the Einsteins of Dogs."
3) American Bulldog
The American Bulldog derived from bloodlines present in colonial America before the Civil War between two countries (the US and England). English Bulldogs were brought here due to their popularity in England and their appearance in Roman culture. The American Bulldog is a big, sturdy family dog who loves children and has an innate need for human companionship. They make great fire dogs because they have strong noses that help save their humans from fires or other serious accidents (there's plenty of evidence online about how this breed saved its owner).
4) Pit Bull
Englishmen originally bred the pit bull terrier for entertainment in fighting matches. This type of bulldogs was used in blood sports like bear-baiting or as amusement in building anger in dogs by holding restrained bulls or bears while two dogs fought to the death over them and other similar forms of barbaric entertainment. Both sides claim their own history, whether they have been around for thousands of years or hundreds.
5) English Bulldog
Bred in the United Kingdom and can be traced back through standard bloodlines to ancient times. The English Bulldog is a popular pet for families due to its affectionate nature and calm temperament. The breed has broad chests, wide-set shoulders, drooping jowls that give them their signature look of being "bulldognish" (droopy). Their skin can be loose as well as short coats in colors like brindle or white. A male average about 54 pounds while females average 50 pounds with ears rosed instead of double flopped over on the head and piebald striping patterns on the body with black noses.
Benefits Of Having An English Bulldog As Pet
The English bulldog has many benefits to its owner. First, it makes a great companion because it loves attention and will always be there when needed. Second, bulldogs are also known for their ability to calm down young children and even older adults suffering from depression (as long as they get plenty of affection in return). English Bulldogs are especially skilled at this because of their kind nature. Third, Owning an English Bulldog is relatively cheap compared to other dogs who need more extensive care. In general, the English bulldog makes a great pet. Finally, They are very friendly and give their owners plenty of affection in return for being treated well. If you want to get a dog that can provide comfort when needed, help relieve stress and depression, and provide companionship for yourself or your family, an English Bulldog may be right for you!
1) It Helps With Depression
Because the majority of these dogs love human company so much, they make excellent companions for those who like affection but do not have anyone to hug during their daily routine. Also, since these dogs are so easygoing and calm, having one around can help ease the stress from the tension caused by depression.
2) Very Kind With Children
These dogs have been proven to be especially good with children because of their gentle nature. This is also beneficial to adults who have insomnia or other sleeping disorders. In addition, having a bulldog in the home can provide comfort and security for parents who may have trouble sleeping at night due to worries about their job or family life.
3) Save Owner Money
Owning an English bulldog is relatively cheap compared to other dogs who need more extensive care (such as those that require grooming services). English Bulldogs do not need much exercise either; they are content with taking a walk around the neighborhood or simply exploring the house. These dogs also eat less food than other breeds, which can save money on pet food purchases.
4) Easy To Train
English Bulldogs are one of the world's most popular dogs for their friendliness, and they're also really easy to train. They learn fast, so if you can teach them a few tricks, it won't be long before your pup opens doors or turns off lights without being told! Of course, these pups aren't known as "the brightest," which means that don't expect too much from them when it comes to solving puzzles, but with some training, these doggies will come up big in life by learning tasks such as getting dressed on their own instead of relying solely on human help.
English Bulldogs Prone To Food Allergies
The English Bulldog is one of the most recognizable and iconic dog breeds. Unfortunately, the breed's popularity has actually sparked a few woes, including health issues related to their distinct looks. If you're thinking about getting an English Bulldog, you should know that they are likely to suffer from allergies.
While all dogs can develop food sensitivities, Bulldogs seem more susceptible than other dogs. There's no way to tell for sure if your puppy will become allergic after eating certain foods (or treats). Some owners even start feeding their pups a new diet with little or no problems. Your dog could just get a little itchy or have mild gastrointestinal issues for a while and then eventually adjust fine to their new diet. For other dogs, a new diet causes major skin problems that require immediate attention and care. The worst cases can even result in chronic itching and constant scratching, hot spots on the nose and face, or even hair loss.
Commonly allergenic foods for English Bulldogs are wheat (even small amounts), dairy products, soybean(s)/soy(ed) products (including soy-based treats), corn/corn products (including corn-based treats), flour/wheat flour, or any ingredients containing these items from any source listed above.
If you are worried about what you should feed your beloved pet, you do not need to worry further; you can check our great options here: "best food for English bulldogs in 2021".
What Should You Consider Before Buying the Best Food for English Bulldogs?
English bulldogs are one of the most recognizable breeds in terms of their short muzzle, flat face, and small jaw. Unfortunately, this gives them many health problems, including difficulty chewing food properly or eating without difficulties breathing. They also often have dental issues that can lead to other complications; they may get an immune system disorder or digestive troubles, and obesity because they can't exercise enough due to physical limitations from those ailments. Furthermore, when it comes down to lifespan English Bulldogs don't have much going for them, with 8-10 years being the average age before illness takes over - some living longer than others but not by too long either way!
Consider these important things before buying food for English bulldogs:
1) Choose Healthy Food
English Bulldogs are not as hearty and healthy as other dogs. This is because they have a sensitive stomach that is easily upset by certain ingredients in dog food, such as because they can't digest them well. The efficient way to avoid this problem is with high-quality meat sources like beef or chicken, which will provide the protein your bulldog needs without upsetting his delicate system too much. Besides grains like bulgogi ingredients which may be difficult on their digestive system, there is plenty of other safe options, including fruits and vegetables that can be good nutrition for your lovely dog.
2) Age
The best food for your English Bulldog depends on its age. Puppies require more DHA and protein to support healthy growth, while adults need higher fat content with lower protein levels. Seniors who are growing old should also be given a diet containing joint health ingredients such as glucosamine or chondroitin sulfate in order not to experience weight gain problems caused by arthritis-related inflammation!
3) Budget
Your English bulldog is worth so much to you that the best food out there for it should be your top priority. But, make sure you get one at a good price with great quality! Dry foods are generally cheaper than wet brands However, if you can't find these high quality dry or wet foods locally, in that case, it's worth ordering them online as shipping costs will often be cheaper than purchasing from pet shops or interacting with veterinary clinics for each new purchase trial-and-error (which may end up being harmful to your dog).
If you are having problems finding the best food for your lovely English bulldog, then don't worry; we have great options for you; check out our best food for English bulldog 2021.

If you live in an apartment, look for a hybrid that has a toy poodle as one of the main dogs.
Aussie Poo Temperament (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
You should expect this breed to be very friendly, intelligent, energetic and loving. They are socially oriented and require a lot of attention.
Aussie Poo will be no strangers to hugs and cuddles, they will want to be a lap dog no matter how big they are.
Thanks to their strong social skills, they have no problem making friends.
While they don't mind strangers when they go out, they'll care when there is a stranger in their home. The Australian Shepherd was used to guard the ranges so they have a keen guard dog instinct.
Unfortunately, because they are social dogs, they always want to be around people, and they don't do very well on their own. They are prone to separation anxiety so it's best to make sure you have time to spend with this dog.
They can be a lot of fun - they'll love the game of chase. Thanks to their legacy, they have the instinct to start herding and nudging children, so watch out for this (note this later).
In fact, they can be hyperactive and destructive if not played with regularly. This hybrid breed is very friendly overall, they are good around dogs as long as they are properly socialized.
Is the Aussie Poo a Good Family Dog?
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd are great for children, they are gentle and patient.
These fun hybrid breeds will love playtime, and kids have the same energy levels to suit them - perfect playmates!
As said earlier, they don't have any aggressive tendencies so there shouldn't be any worries there.
However, you should always keep an eye on your dog and your kids playing together and don't forget to teach your kids. Understanding basic dog body language .
The Miniature Husky was bred in Wasilla, Alaska, from the early 1970s until 1988 by Linda S. Spurlin and her family. The breed was originally obtained by crossing Siberian huskies, Alaskan huskies, and they were also added to the barks and American Eskimo dogs to reduce the size of the breed without signs of dwarfism. She was engaged in breeding as a private owner, and in the late eighties allowed to use the genus for general breeding. The subsequent unification of the genus occurred after the breed was recognized by clubs and associations for rare breeds. The Miniature Husky, or dwarf husky, better known as the Alaskan Klee-kai was officially recognized by the American Rare Breed Association in 1995. The United Kennel Club (UKC) recognized this breed on January 1, 1997.

How to Train Aussie Poo (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd is extremely intelligent thanks to the fact that both parent breeds are very intelligent. Also, because of Australian Shepherds' eagerness to please, they should be fairly easy to train!
They will respond best to positive reinforcement. Punishment should be avoided as much as possible leads to problematic behavior .
These dogs love treats and compliments, but tend to prefer one over the other.
As mentioned earlier, one of the problematic behaviors is to herd and pinch children - this can be easily trained. You should distract them by using a ball or toy to prevent children from herding around the house.
Socialization is vital for all genders! Expose them as puppies to a wide variety of people, children and animals. The same is true for household appliances that make loud noises like washing machines.
Start training and socializing as soon as you bring your puppy home!
When smart dogs are not mentally stimulated, they can become frustrated and bored , causing them to be destructive. Give them a puzzle feeder and play hide and seek with their treats. Let them play with other dogs and provide them as much social interaction as possible to improve their cognitive skills.
They see education as a form of play and challenge makes them happy. While an easy task, here are a few things that will help you effectively train your Poodle mixed with Australian Shepherd.
When is the right time?
The right time to start training your puppies is the first day they come to your home. At eight weeks old, these puppies can absorb anything you've taught them - waiting until they're old isn't a great idea. They can hold information and understand instructions very early. Left untrained, you run the risk of raising a headed Poodle Australian Shepherd.
Where to start socializing?
You must have them attend a puppy kindergarten class by the age of twelve. It will help you start their socialization . Besides formal training, you should immediately start socializing them with family members and friends.
What should you teach them?
The first thing your puppy needs to learn is obedience. This is a stepping stone in which you should teach your dog some tricks for yourself. They are extremely intelligent and active. If you can teach and assign them a job or purpose, such as getting the paper for you, they will be delighted. It gives them the challenge and warning they need.
As long as you are willing to teach them, you can have them do almost anything you want and they'll be happy to do it for you.
How to train a puppy?
You need to be patient and consistent in training them. Positive reinforcement goes a long way. They can quickly find out if they see that they please you. You should also remember to restrict training for short periods. It is a good idea to train for 10 to 15 minutes throughout the day. Avoid repeating commands too much or they will lose their relevance.
It's natural to try to bend or bump you when they're driven and try to hold the family together. However, you have to make it your priority to deter it. You can scold them and then direct their attention to a game. It is important as they must learn to avoid biting or bumping you while walking. This education will also help children stay safe around them.
Caring For Aussie Poo (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd will be a cute addition to your family, but you must first know how to care for one of these dogs.
They are adaptable, so they perform well in apartments and homes. However, they have a lot of energy so make sure you are ready to get a dog that needs a lot of activity.
These bundles of energy require a lot of care and attention - perfect for a loving family!
Exercise Requirements
Thanks to the history of both parent breeds, this hybrid breed is very energetic. The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd loves exercise.
They need about 90 minutes of exercise every day, otherwise you will have to deal with a hyperactive dog that will try to chew on everything in sight!
Take them for a jog, the beach or a walk. They love all kinds of activities and are a very athletic breed.
Exercise is essential for lowering their energy level for these hyperactive dogs. They don't know where to spend the energy to get angry, which can cause them to become frustrated and develop negative behaviors or become overweight.
Giving them a purpose is a great use of their unlimited energy. They delight people and enjoy physical and mental challenges. Their lively nature makes them work or seek playtime with their owners, other pets or even themselves. Access to a courtyard will be quite useful and will allow them to play whenever they need it.
These smart dogs love to learn and solve puzzles. Nina Ottoson Dog Brick Treatment Puzzle Dog Toy by Outward Hound will help keep them busy for a while. It is an interactive feeding fun game that your dog will love.
When taking them for a walk, you should keep them on a leash until you are sure of their remembering abilities. They are quite dog friendly, so you can take them to dog parks too.
Care and Spill
Grooming requirements will vary depending on the type of coat they inherit.
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd can get a long, wavy double coat from the Aussie Shepherd. If they do, they'll pour their liner every spring and fall . They will need to be brushed at least every other day during their bursting.
If their coats like Poodles are more curly, they will need to trim their fur every 10 weeks. This helps their hair stay healthy.
They will need to trim their nails regularly to keep them at a comfortable length. Brush her teeth once a week and clean her ears regularly with a damp cloth to prevent any buildup.
Nutrition and Diet
It's fairly easy to keep a Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd. They consume one to three cups of high quality dog food a day. To meet the needs of high energy dogs like these, choose a dog food that contains a good amount of fat and protein. They also enjoy dog bones, meat, vegetables or fruits. A regular exercise routine can help them manage their weight better.
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd needs a balanced protein, fat, vitamin and mineral diet.
They will need about 2 meals a day, divided into equal portions. One in the morning and one in the evening.
How much you feed your dog depends on how heavy they are. You should feed a mini version with 1-1.5 cups of formula and standard 2.5-3.5 cups of formula a day.
Some people believe that the raw food diet is most beneficial for dogs, while others stick to the commercial dog food diet. Well , as long as they are high quality materials.
Find a recognizable feed with all food ingredients. Avoid fillers such as corn syrup, as high carb concentrations can be harmful to your dog.
You can also treat them in moderation with fruits and vegetables.
Maintenance of the Aussie Poo
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd can have different types of fur depending on which parental type dominates. Some Australian shepherd poodle mixes have the long, straight coat of the Australian shepherd dog. Other Aussie Poo carry more of a poodle coat with loose curls.
Whatever type of coat your dog has, it is high maintenance when it comes to grooming. You will need to brush your Aussie Poo for at least a few days and also your dog may need to be trimmed and trimmed every eight to 12 weeks.
Known Health Issues of Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd
Aussie Poos are hybrid breeds, meaning they have more genetic diversity than pure breeds. This means they should have less chance of inheriting genetic disorders.
However, there are some health issues that are still common with this cross breed:
Hip dysplasia is common in this breed, keeping them at a healthy weight and feeding them a nutritious diet to avoid this.
Miniature ones are more prone to upscale the patella, this is where the kneecap comes off.
They are prone to epilepsy.
Aussie Poos are prone to suffering eye disorders such as cataracts. Also Progressive Retinal Atrophy - This is an inherited disease that is common with both the parent breeds, Australian Shepherd and Poodle. When your dog becomes an adult, you should test for carrier genes that can cause blindness.
Cushing's Disease - Occurs in dogs in their middle age as a result of the presence of a hormone-secreting tumor. It is usually found in the abdominal adrenal glands or the pituitary gland of the brain. There is an excess of stress hormone, cortisol, that can cause weight gain, increased appetite, hair loss, skin pigmentation and intolerance to exercise.
Obesity is common in companion dogs and this can really affect a dog's quality of life. Obesity will be real if they are not fed properly and given the right amount of exercise.
How Long Does Aussie Poo Live?
An average healthy Australian dog will live 10-12 years.

Stay away from aggressive breeders and those who claim their puppies are 100% hypoallergenic - there is no guarantee that this applies to hybrid breeds.

Black and White (Part IX)
(This is a long one! I'm sorry!)
Part I | Part II | Part III | Part IV | Part V | Part VI | Part VII | Part VIII | Part IX | Part X | Part XI | Part XII | Part XIII | Part XIV | Part XV | Part XVI
Remus spent ten minutes in the washroom.
He didnât want to spend ten minutes there, standing around by the sink, eying himself awkwardly in the mirror, nodding uncomfortably at the man who stood in the corner giving out mints. At first, Remus considered returning to the table, but then he pictured Siriusâ face, dark and cold, his glare as sharp as his cheekbones.Â
A few minutes in, Remus noticed the bathroom attendantâ Is that what he was called? â eyeing him suspiciously. He gave the man a guilty smile and tried to save face.Â
âIâm uh⌠just waiting on some friends⌠theyâre⌠uh⌠having a conversation at the table? A⌠A private one⌠I justâŚâÂ
Remus cut himself off after he realized how little the other man cared about his predicament and how awkward his explanation sounded.Â
After ten minutes in the restroom, Remus eventually returned to the table, praying to whoever would listen that his friends' discussion was over; the last thing Remus needed was to walk in on them talking about him. When he arrived, Lily and James both offered genuine smiles. Sirius was staring intently at the menu, making a point of not glancing up as Remus sat down beside him.
âRemus! Hey⌠Sorry about that,â Lily began, before Remus shook his head in response.
âItâs no problem, really. Gave me a chance to⌠get some fresh airâŚâ Remus didnât know why he lied; perhaps he didnât want his companions to know that he had spent the entire time staring at the mirror above the sinks.Â
Just as Remus lifted up the menu to begin looking at itâ Lily was right, there were no prices! â a server came by to take their orders.Â
âSir? What can I get you?â
âOhâŚâ Remus glanced down at the menu again, then back up at the server. âCan you⌠come back to me? At the end?â
âOf course, sir.â
Remus searched through the menu for the least expensive-sounding option as the rest of the party gave their orders. By the time the waiter circled back to Remus, he had settled on something.
âIâll have the salad, please.â
âVery good, Sir. And for your main course?â
âOh, uh⌠that⌠that was for my main course.â
The waiter cocked an eyebrow and Remus could feel the back of his neck burning.Â
âSir, this is a prix fix menu. Itâs all included. The appetizer, the main course, the dessert, all one price.â
Oh.
That explained why the menu didn't have any prices on it. It also posed a problem for Remus, who wanted to spend as little as possible at this exceedingly expensive establishment.Â
He glanced down at the menu again, feeling the eyes of his companions all settling on him, waiting for his response. Remus swallowed, trying to steady his nerves. He needed to keep his voice from shaking.Â
"Whâ what do you recommend?"
"The steak is our most popular dish. A very fine cut. Exceptional."
"O-okay⌠I'll have that."
"Very good, sir. How would you like your steak?"
Remus glanced over to Lily, hoping that she could help save him from embarrassment. He had never ordered steak at a restaurant; what was he supposed to tell the server? Lily smiled kindly at him, in that way she always seemed to smile. It was as if nothing about her could ever be unkind.Â
"It's usually best medium-rare," she said softly.
"Okay, uh⌠medium-rare thenâŚ"
The server nodded before leaving the table.Â
"Thanks," Remus mumbled under his breath, earning himself a gentle squeeze on the arm from Lily.Â
Conversation at the table picked up, and Remus noticed his nerves settle slightly as James and Lily chatted away. Lily began talking about art, a conversation that Remus could participate in, resulting in a vibrant debate about the merits of the hand-made and the decline of technique in the contemporary art world.Â
"I think that's the biggest flaw with performance art," Remus was saying as the sommelier filled his second glass of wine. "There's no skill involved. Sure, your idea can be strong, but there's a definite lack of artistic prowess, and it's a sincere pity. It really is detrimental to overall artistic growth in terms of sheer ability."
"You're wrong," Sirius said suddenly, speaking up for the first time since Remus arrived back at the table. Remus looked over to Sirius, expecting him to look upset. Instead, the gallerist had a smug grin on his face, his eyes sparkling with passion. "And if every artist thought like you, we would be stuck looking at the same thing in every gallery."
"Sirius," Lily said threateningly, before Remus cut her off.
"No, no, I want to hear this. Go on, Siâ Mr. Black. I'd love to hear your explanation."
"Well," Sirius began, pausing to nod at the server who brought him a plate of food. "Performance art, readymade, the types of works that, as you say, don't require talent⌠those artists push the boundaries of what is defined as art. They move the contemporary world in a new direction, challenging the ideals of the time, bringing forth new concepts and making statements "
Remus smiled at Sirius, shaking his head.
"There's a time and a place, Mr. Black." He took a bite of his food and paused for a moment to savour the variety of flavours. Despite being a salad, it was so different than anything he had ever tried before; sweetness paired with bitter, the tang of citrus crossed with the bite from spiced pecans. He closed his eyes, relishing in the sheer sensation of eating.Â
"You were saying, Mister Lupin?"
"Oh, yes, sorry. This is delicious. Yes, a time and a place. At the time that Duchamp first introduced the concept of readymade, there was a genuine need for it in the art world. Nowadays, if somebody presented a urinal in an art gallery, they would be laughed at! What the contemporary art world needs these days is a return to craftsmanship. We need to go back to our roots, to explore techniques, to learn how to paint and draw and sculpt the way we used to."
"And what of Abromovic, who challenges what it means to be an artist?" Sirius asked, his grin growing wider, a hint of colour spreading across his cheeks.
"What about her?" Remus retorted, taking another bite and picking out the individual flavours of the dish.Â
"Well, Mr. Lupin, she changes the way we view art. Art is no longer something that is inaccessible to the lower class, the uneducated. Art is something that anyone can do, or be, or have, or create. Art is no longer reserved for the elite. People can no longer purchase art the same way they used to. I cannot own an Abromovic masterpiece. I can enjoy it and witness it, I can be a part of it, but it's not something that I can have and keep to myself behind closed doors. Art is no longer a commodity."
Remus nodded to the server who cleared his plate before giving Sirius a slightly skeptical look.
"You don't need to tell me about commodification of art and the inability to access it," Remus said with a grin. "If anything, I should be the one arguing for art accessibility for the lower class, not you."
Sirius' eyes flashed with something that Remus couldn't decipher, and for the briefest moment, the gallerist looked taken aback. Sirius' composure quickly resumed, however, covering up any sense of doubt, his lips twisted smugly.
"Well then, Mr. Lupin, my point shouldn't be lost on you."
"It's not," Remus said with a casual shrug, glancing over to James and Lily who were merely observers of the conversation rather than participants. "I understand what you mean. I just don't think people should become so wealthy on such minimal talentâŚ"
Sirius didn't respond.
Remus noticed the silence that settled over the table and his smile faded. He sat up straight, fiddling with the corner of his napkin, realizing his error.Â
"I⌠I mean⌠like Abromovic. She's so wealthy and she⌠well⌠she hasn't produced anything⌠and galleries keep bringing her in and, well, she⌠uhâŚ"
Two servers arrived at their table, placing a plate in front of each person, and Remus had never been more grateful for a distraction.Â
"Ah! Wonderful!" James exclaimed, drawing the table's attention to himself. He smiled across at Remus, as if to say that all was well, but Remus could tell that something was off with Sirius. The artist glanced over to his right, where the gallerist was digging into his dinner.Â
With a shrug, Remus focused his attention on his steak, and the moment he took a bite, all of his worries faded away.Â
Remus had never tasted meat like this before. It was soft and tender, dripping with juices and a punch of flavour. His knife slid through the meat so easily, so effortlessly, revealing a perfectly pink interior. This was the most delicious meal Remus had ever eaten in his entire life.Â
No wonder rich people are always so happy. I'd be happy too, if I could eat this whenever I wanted.
Remus knew he'd never be able to properly enjoy a steak again, it would always be compared to the perfect dish before him.
"So Remus," Lily began, once their plates were beginning to empty. "If you don't like Abromovic or Koons, which artists do you like?"
Remus grinned at his friend as he set his fork and knife down.
"And I'm assuming I can't just say myself?"
Lily and James both laughed at his joke, but Sirius' face twisted into a scowl.Â
"A little proud of yourself, are we?"
Remus' gaze returned to Sirius, trying to read the man; he couldn't tell if his joke was lost on Sirius or if the man simply lacked a sense of humour.
"I mean, I didn't name a gallery after myselfâŚ"
Another pause. The table seemed to hold its collective breath as Remus' taunt landed.Â
Sirius' lips parted in a grin, and he let out a sharp laugh. Remus felt his body release the tension he didn't realize the was holding, his shoulders relaxing and a breath escaping his lungs.
Thank god.
Sirius laughing meant that Remus didn't put the rest of his life at risk. He was, however, beginning to despise the minefield that was this dinner, waiting for his next slip up, waiting for his world to explode.Â
"That's funny, Mr. Lupin." Sirius said, after a good chuckle. "Very funny. Especially considering the fact that up until very recently, it was your desire to show in that gallery."
Shit.
"Oh shush," James butted in, before anyone else could say anything. "Learn to take a joke, Sirius. Don't be soâ"
"Don't say it, James!" Lily warned, barely containing her grin.
"I was merely playing along!" Sirius teased, his cheeks rosy from the alcohol and laughter, his eyes sparkling with mirth. His gaze flickered toward Remus, and the artist felt his heart skip a beat. Sirius was a very handsome man, and laughter looked particularly good on him. He was attractive no matter what he did, any way that he held himself. When he smiled, thoughâŚ
Remus quickly looked away, directing his attention to the remnants on his plate. When Sirius smiled, his eyes lit up, as blinding as the sun kissing the sky on a perfect winter day. They were the very shade of snow beneath a tree, the lightest of blues, perfectly undisturbed. Sirius' cheeks bore the morning blush of a sunrise, the colour of the sky just as it threatened to turn blue. Next to the creamy glow of his face, it took on an almost ethereal quality.Â
Remus loved the colours of Sirius.
And he hated how much he loved it.
"Any coffee with your dessert, sir?"Â
Remus thought his heart might have exploded with the shock of being wrenched from his thoughts. He looked up at the server with a look of panic, having completely forgotten where he was.
"Um⌠no, no thank you. I'm fine," he mumbled, tearing his eyes from the server and keeping them focused on the chocolate torte that had been placed in front of him.
Thank god.
Nothing could redirect Remus' imagination quite like chocolate, and he was thoroughly grateful for the distraction.Â
Dessert passed with minimal conversation as everyone savoured their delicacies. As discussion resumed, it veered away from art, and Remus found himself listening more than talking. Eventually, the server came by the table, and Remus realized that his perfect meal and fantasy evening was about to come to an abrupt and painful close.Â
"Will there be anything else you need?"
"No, just the bill, please," James said politely.
"Together or separate?"
"Together."
Together?
Remus opened his mouth to protest, but thought better of it; he waited for the server to leave before he rounded on James.
"You really don't have to do that, James. Honestly, I can't let youâ"
"Nonsense!" James said with an enthusiastic flap of his hand. "Of course I'm paying! This dinner is my treat!"
"But it reallyâ"
"Remus, I invited you to join us! It's my pleasure!"
Remus knew he should be happy, he should feel relieved; his whole night had been laced with anxiety as he thought about the ludicrous cheque that was waiting for him. Instead, Remus felt guilty. He felt like he was in debt to James, like he owed the man. There was no way he could accept a gift this generous without repaying the favour.
"You don't have to," Remus mumbled, feeling the weight of his words press down on his shoulders. He was damned either way, but at least if he paid for his meal, he wouldn't be indebted to anyone.Â
"I know," James said, his smile never faltering. "I don't have to do anything. I want to. Now, back to the real matter at handâŚ" James turned to Sirius. He was clearly finished with the discussion about the bill, and Remus knew better than to push.
"Yes, James?" Sirius said, quirking a brow playfully.
"Now that you've had a proper opportunity to get to know Remus, have you come to any important decisions?"
Remus' heart was suddenly in his throat, beating more rapidly than he thought possible. How could he have forgotten about Sirius' decision to have him in the gallery?
"As a matter of fact," Sirius purred, his smile crooked and sly. He turned to Remus, his chin tilted slightly upwards, a flash of pearly white teeth enclosed between tender lips that Remus wanted to forget about. "I have."
Remus' grip tightened on his napkin and he sank into his chair as the silence and anticipation steadily grew worse.
"Well?!" James was on the edge of his seat, clearly not a patient man. Lily had her hand on his shoulder, trying to keep him at bay.
"Remus, I require no less than five pieces in order to begin displaying your work. I would like to have them by our next show, which will be towards the beginning of November. Do you think you can accomplish that for me?"
Remus was at a loss for words. He nodded fervently, unable to get his voice out.Â
"Good. I'll have my lawyers work up a contract. You can come by the gallery on Monday to sign it and discuss details."
Remus couldn't believe what was happening. He pinched himself on his forearm, trying to ensure that this was not some kind of vivid dream. As a jolt of pain shot through his arm, a smile spread across his face.Â
As far as he could tell, it was all real...

About the muse
TAGGED BY: @derjaegermondâ [thank you!]
âreal name: Shiro
âsingle or taken: Â Taken in all verses (good job, sprout)
âabilities or powers:
Doll-making - His dolls are often made of clay and... fleshy bits. It truly depends on his disposition at the time, really. [Default verse]
Soul transfusion (think Frankenstein, but less depressing) - Although he isnât interested in the wellbeing of humans as a species, he might be willing to help individuals who are looking to escape their human condition, usually those who are gravely afflicted or on deathâs door, by moving their consciousness into a new body, typically that of a clay dollâs. The only downside is, that person would be eternally bound by a contract to him. [Default verse]
Resurrection - Once a person signs a deal with him, death is no longer an option. Thatâs not always a good thing, though. [Default + SCP verse]
Interdimensional fast travel - Limited to his domain/home. He can materialize and dematerialize at will since, at essence, he is only dust. Upon entering one of the rifts opened by him, however, a regular human has a high chance of being ripped apart, similar to how a black hole would operate. Non-human entities can pass through with ease, but he rarely allows anyone to join him. [Default verse]
Item creation - His coat is a medium, particularly his pockets. There is a random chance he can produce a desired small to medium sized item out of them every few hours (further testing required). The margin of error is too large to be attempted without supervision from at least three on-site researchers and a disposing unit, however. Who knows what Eldritch monstrosities he will unknowingly pull out? [SCP verse]
Item restoration - If he has seen the previous state of a damaged item (or, in some cases, even a person), he can restore it to that moment in time. Think of it like a Windows system restore point. Sometimes it works, other times it has horrible consequences... [Default + SCP verse]
Rebirth through the cycle of Samsara and Nirvana - Nothing of Samsara is different from Nirvana, nothing of Nirvana is different from Samsara. That which is the limit of Nirvana is also the limit of Samsara, there is not the slightest difference between the two. Moder and Shiro are one and the same. One is a concept, the other has a physical form. One actively struggles to liberate himself from the karmic circle, the other clings to consciousness and his notion of self. When one dies, the other is born. By never truly reaching Moksha/liberation, he is stuck in an eternal loop. [Default verse]
Wind and Water Malak artes - Although like any Malak he isnât limited to one style, these are the two he is most proficient in thanks to his elemental affinities. Healing spells and ability boosts are the most efficient. [Tales verse]
âeye colour(s): Â Marigold & Sky blue (heterochromia) + Golden/Amber (for Moder)
âhair colour: White with a slight periwinkle hue / Jet black (Moder)
â height: 5â˛3 [Default, SCP] to 5â˛5 [Tales] ; very tall (Moder)
âfamily members:
Mother: Shub-Niggurath [Default] Father: Yog-Sothoth [Default] Human parents: prefers to believe theyâve never existed [all verses lol] Father (non-biological): Thatcher [SCP]
âpets:  Goro - Samoyed dog ; Milk - Husky rat.
âsomething they donât like: Boba tea, fake girls with 2000 personalities who thrive on attention-seeking behavior, people who rely on their looks to get anywhere in life, disrespectful fools, double-standards.
âhobbies/activities:Â Puppeteering and ventriloquism, sketching, painting, scrapbooking, taking care of stray pets, playing mobile rhythm games [default/Fate verse], baking, playing dress up with his dolls.
âever hurt anyone before:Â He makes it quick and painless (yes).
âanimal that represents them: The Hare - flighty, timid, solitary (also because of his moon symbolism and how it associates with the Moon Rabbit in Asian cultures).
âworst habits:Â Aggressive, overbearing, over-protective, easily jealous, co-dependent (can be toxic at times).
âsexual orientation: Demisexual, specifically only interested in his partners and no one else, ever.
âthoughts on marriage/kids: He would happily get married in a heartbeat (even half-joked about it sometimes) but he harbors a strong dislike towards kids. The thought of having biological children renders him catatonic, so heâd rather not even consider it. Adopting is off the table too. Why would he want to share his partnersâ attention with anyone else after being ignored and unloved for the majority of his life? Exactly. He is lucky he has them and they are enough for each other.
âstyle preferences: Â Itâs an odd mixture of casual and formal. Heâs the kind of person to wear mismatched socks and sneakers with suit pants. When he wears tighter clothes, he always makes sure to add a baggy overcoat on top (thatâs why his default outfit is the way it is, he wonât be seen dead without his coat). Because he suffers from body dysphoria, heâd rather not see his own shapes. When heâs not wearing suits, he wears loose clothes, hoodies, tank tops, cargo pants, courtesy of his partners (whose clothes he steals all the time).
âapproach to friendships:Â Due to negative past experiences, he tends not to initiate them anymore. He always categorizes people as fickle and his preconceived notion hasnât failed him yet. Very few make it into his friend circle and very few remain in it. Most get demoted to acquaintances.
âthoughts on pie: He loves baking and eating pizza with his loved ones, but any other kind of pie is meh in his books.
âfavourite drink: Irish cappuccino and coffee, pomegranate juice.
âfavourite place to spend time at:Â Home, green plains and flowery fields, quiet vintage libraries that people have forgotten about, abandoned churches.
âswim in the lake or in the ocean: Â The shallow spots of a lake. He is scared of deep waters.
âtheir type:Â Taller than him, mischievous, funny (itâs difficult to make him laugh), protective, jealous/possessive (he thrives in feeling wanted, even if that kind of sentiment is considered toxic by most), nerdy, jocky, playfully aggressive (he is awfully monotone, it takes someone with a high amount of energy to make up for it), gentle, patient, understanding. It pretty much encapsulates his partners.
âcamping or indoors: Indoors. He hates it when insects crawl all over him and would cry if he swallowed one in his sleep.

The warm afternoon breeze was exactly what he needed. Alone on the far end of the wrap around porch, away from the lively bustle, Bucky pressed his fingers to his temples, hoping to will away the budding migraine that loomed over him. They had been with him since he could remember, the single thing the young girl genius couldn't help him with.
Next to him on the porch swing, a full paper plate messily put together and carefully delivered by little Morgan. She had brought it to him telling him, with the speech impediment characteristic of a five-year-old, to eat so he would get big and strong. What a sweet kid.
Relaxing his shoulders and straightening his back, Bucky forced himself to sit up. He needed to salvage the rest of this day. Celebrate with his family, what he had left of it. To eat.
He picked himself up and trudged inside to wash his hands.
The house was quiet, serene like the surroundings it also called home. Soaping up his hands he took care to carefully clean around his marks as if the act of washing had any effect on their appearance or lack thereof. His mind wandered where it always went these days, between wanting to know who you were and insisting he wasn't prepared for an interaction like that. Constantly battling between longing and avoidance.
In search of a towel to dry his hands, Bucky looked over to the fridge. Taller than he, every spare inch covered in hand-drawn pictures, the preferred medium crayon and the occasional watercolor. His lips curled into a relaxed grin as he laid eyes on the newest one, the one Morgan had run around showing them earlier that day. He easily recognized all the stick figure rendering of friends and of himself; she'd told them it was a picture of her family.

You heard the laughing first. The lively noises warmed you in the crisp forest wind. A soft smile graced your face as you paced closer, excitement overpowering the nervousness, the crunching of leaves announcing your footfalls.
It was Steve's birthday and to be honest, you weren't ready to meet his friends.
The hand-written invitation lead you to a get together not too far outside of the city at a homey lakeside cabin.
In the distance, you could see children running around the picturesque grounds, giggles and gleeful exclamations in their wake. Closer to the house, adults huddled together at a picnic table.
The sight of them filled you with your own unique mix of emotions. On one hand, you were excited to meet his friends, on the other you were a regular person meeting what basically amounted to superheroes.
A shout of your name pulled you from your trance.
It was Steve, a blindingly bright smile on his face as he made his way towards you, jolting you out of your wallowing. He only started wearing it recently, a smile almost uncharacteristically lighthearted for someone with his experiences. It was a welcomed change to the sullen demeanor you had known him for.
"Sorry I'm late, I got lost," you revealed as he released you from his warm hello embrace.
After sharing a laugh at your comical struggle to find the hidden cabin, Steve took your hand in his, guiding you from the far end of the grounds behind the house to the lakeside pair of large picnic tables.
At its benches sat a little less than a dozen adults, all of whom who had had their eyes on you since Steve had jogged in your direction. His reassuring hold on your hand kept you grounded as they wrapped in hello hugs and firm handshakes, barely giving you time to process their individual introductions. Your mind relaxed at their warm reception, realizing how frivolous your worries were. Steve was amazing, it was to be expected that the company he kept was just as such.
After a long dinner filled with lively conversation, the sun slowly began its journey west, the summer air cooling steadily.
You had been engaged in an intense game of tag with them, or rather chase the adult after the littlest of the children had decided to team up to take you down, realizing your much larger form granted you an advantage.
"You got me!" You exclaimed from the grass covered ground, having tripped over a protruding tree root in an attempt to evade them.
After gleefully recounting to you how they had managed to take you down, the children did their best to help you up, the sweethearts they were.
Brushing off stray leaves, you stood and fixed yourself. As you did, little fingers gripped your right arm, stopping you from wiping the remaining dirt from your legs.
"Oh no!"
Pepper's daughter, Morgan, knitted her tiny eyebrows together, the pained expression on her sweet face concerning you more than the wide bleeding scrape she had spotted near your elbow. She was an observant one.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked carefully looking over your arm in his hands. The others had gathered to see it after Morgans exclamation reached their ears, attracting the attention of concerned parents and, of course, Steve.
You scoffed at his question.
"I've heard stories of you jumping out of buildings. Of the two of us, I am not the person to worry about."
He looked to you, amused by your rebuttal, you weren't wrong.
You met his gaze, soft and compassionate. Before your cheeks could turn pink, you averted your eyes, pulling yourself away from his touch. He was so cute, but you wouldn't let yourself get too comfortable. Â
"I'll be okay. Just need to clean it."
He was ready to escort you toward the house, worried you'd find a way to get into more trouble in the time it took you to get there. Before he could offer, you spoke, a chuckle in your tone.
"Don't worry about me, Steve. I'll be back before it's time to cut the cake."
Defeated, Steve reminded you where the first aid kit was and walked back to the picnic tables with the children, reassuring them that you would be okay. He knew you could take care of yourself but that was just how he was. It was in his nature.
Quickly made your way towards the cabin and ascended the steps, covering the unsightly wound with your free hand. Immediately, you made way to the sink. In the warm flow you gently picked the dirt from your gash, carefully cleansing and gingerly dabbing away any extra moisture after shutting off the faucet.
Your expression twisted as you viewed you clean but open wound. You would probably need the first aid kit after all.
Up down left right. To no avail, you sorted through the kitchen cabinets, annoyed you had forgotten where it was after having guaranteed that you had done the opposite.
"It's in the cabinet above the fridge."
You let out a short startled cry, whipping around in the voice's direction. Another of Steve's guests leaned against the center island, eating, eyes turned to you. You were sure had seen him earlier that day, but had only exchanged a distant hello wave.
"Sorry." The voice was apologetic, upturned and soft despite the low register.
"No, you're okay." You chuckled to yourself as your heartbeat settled back down, offering him a smile of forgiveness as you resumed your search taking his advice.
You moved to the aforementioned cabinet, barely managing to brush the high shelf where it sat, prominently displayed, to your annoyance.
"If you don't mind me asking what are you doing cooped up in here?" You asked, back turned to him. Your futile attempts to grab the kit pushing it further out of your limited reach.
"Wasn't feeling too great." He chuckled at your periodic hops, then moved in your direction.
"Let me help."
You stepped to the side as he tapped your shoulder. Easily, he reached above and retrieved the hefty clear plastic box. Setting it down silently on the granite countertop he released the latches, opening it up and gathering the required materials for your level of hurt.
You marveled at the spread as he retrieved the supplies. A wide variety of bandages, ointments, and medicines packed together. It made sense. Not only was the home rather far from the nearest hospital, but it was also where the highest concentration of gifted individuals tended to gather.
"Sit."
You obeyed the gentle request.
After assuring you that his hands were clean, he began work on your scrape; you sat at a bar stool. Eyes as clear and blue as the July sky regarded you with concern. Focused he cleansed the area with an alcohol pad, deep voice soothing you through the sting, then administered an antibiotic ointment. You had only known him for a few moments, but you trusted him, felt comfortable, at ease.
You kept your eyes trained on his features as he finished. Deep brunette locks carefully tucked behind his ears, brushing his broad shoulders, a full beard perfectly framing his face. He wore dark colors which seemed to make him seem even more imposing despite his gentle manner. Dark jeans paired with dark boots, a lightweight henley rolled at the elbows. A black and gold mechanical left arm.
Ah.
A peaceful smile found a home on your lips as the gears spun in your brain, piecing together the identity of your attendant. You'd heard stories of him from Steve, childhood tales of misadventures, how Steve worried about his fellow centurion, what he had overcome. Bucky Barnes.
The creaking of wooden boards and the approaching sounds of lively banter caught your attention as his fingertips gingerly smoothed on a large flesh-colored bandage.
"Oh, hey," Bucky looked to you as you spoke gesturing to the door as a crowd began leaking into the area where you and he stood, "I guess it's time to cut the cake."
-đŽ-
Despite everything, Steve knew he was one lucky son of a bitch.
He blew out the three lopsidedly placed candles on the top of his cake, his friends and family holding the final note of the celebratory birthday tune as he did. After passing around the generous slices, Steve had taken a seat at the empty picnic table. In the foreground, everyone spread out on the vast grounds awaiting evening fireworks. Clint and Scott skipping rocks with some of the others. Pepper with the Queens kid and his aunt.
His eyes searched for Bucky. A sense of contentedness and peace settled in him as he spotted his oldest friend talking with Sam and you. It had taken him by surprise, seeing you and them in the company of one another, but he welcomed it. It was delighted surprise, reminding him of how Bucky had grown in the time since the battle. Bucky was less closed off and more importantly, he had found a place and a people with whom he could feel safe. Everything wasn't perfect but things were getting better.
Steve watched as you passed out sparklers to the group and chuckled as you lit one almost too close to your face frightening yourself in the process, eliciting a collective laughed from all present. He took a content sip of beer as you and Wanda handed out the small fireworks, being sure teach the little ones to be careful with them. His heart warmed as you walked up to Bucky offering him to light his sparkler.
He never would have seen it if you hadn't been standing so close. He never would have noticed if Bucky hadn't turned away and definitely wouldn't have noticed if Steve had not already had knowledge of all the flowers his friend had found all over his skin. Bucky came to him with every new one.
But he did see it. On the back of Bucky's arm, a new one, in the exact place where a bandage covered your injury from earlier that day.
A smile tugged at the corners of Steve's lips.Â
How interesting.

Interview with Genn
Q: If Anduin was able to bring back the dead, would you ask him with extreme politeness if he could bring back great warriors of Gilneas? Yes that includes Liam
Genn: The dead should stay dead and rest. And that includes Liam.
Q: How do you feel about Tess being part of the Uncrowned?
Genn: Tess is part of what now? Tess: (Wildly gesturing âHe has no idea, shut up!â behind Gennâs back)
Q: What do you think about the heroes?
Genn: Powerful. Useful. Sometimes toying with things that shouldnât be toyed with. Sort of... unreliable.
Q: How do you feel about Death Knight Worgen?
Genn: I mean, being Worgen is bad enough, they didnât choose to be dead murderous machines either. I guess... I have an understanding. But no sympathy.
Q: How much do you hate Nathanos Blightcaller?
Genn: On a scale from 1 to 10 there isnât any number that would be big enough.
Q: Does Anduin reminds you of Liam? If so, its painful to watch him and remember your son?
Genn: No. Liam was a warrior. A leader. Anduin is a whinny ninny who likes books too much for his own good.
Q: Do you think, at some point that Tess will become queen, and if yes, what queen do you think she will be?
Genn: She is the daughter of a king, of course she will become a queen. Genn: It is going to be problematic with her. She wants to be her, as she says it, her own woman. She doesnât understand she isnât meant to be in the front line doing things. Women should stay home and safe while we protect them! Genn: I am... I am not saying that she wouldnât be able to go and kick asses. I just. Donât like that idea. She is a lady, for Lightâs sake. She should be the caring one.
Q: Do you love your daughter? Because sometimes it feels like you donât.
Genn: Of course I love my daughter! What kind of father doesnât love his daughter? Iâd do anything for Tess!
Q: I always wondered if the transformation into Worgen was hurting?
Genn: It isnât painful. It is more like... sneezing with all your body at once.
Q: Why with such attachment in Anduin verse?
Genn: He has lost his father. I am the only competent father around. And he needs a strong man as a model and a teacher. Just look at him! On his own he would either start wearing skirts or even worse, entered a monastery, which also includes wearing skirts. And he is being a friend with that blasted black dragon! Black dragons are evil!
Q: Do you ever feel insecure about Gilneas being destroyed and having to go to Stormwind and follow a new, young, and inexperienced king and not being able to rise like you used to?
Genn: Actually, since Iâve got my ass out of Darnassus, things are getting better. Genn: Anduin has always been opened to take advice from someone more experienced. Unlike Tyrande. Genn: Who might be more experienced. But also, she is a gentle woman and a priestess, nothing made for this cruel wartime.
Q: Do you still keep in touch with Crowley?
Genn: Oh. Yeah. Not really. We have... differing opinions. Genn: However, Tess is very befriended with the whole family, which is good for all kinds of diplomacy.
Q: Do you ever get flashbacks of the Battle for Gilneas?
Genn: Yeah. Itâs called nightmares.
Q: What was your opinion on Varian?
Genn: Good king. Good warrior. Good friend. More liberal then I am, but then, it has been brought to my attention that against all new things I tend to build a wall. Sometimes literal. Genn: I know I donât have to be always right about things, and that times change. But I am too old for changing. Varian was younger than I and has been taught different values.
Q: How did the worgen react to him being the Chosen of Goldrinn?
Genn: Actually, we didnât give a fuck. Like, not our problem, really.
Q: How would you react if Anduin actually fell in love with Tess?
Genn: That would be wonderful. Mia and I have actually been thinking about bringing the two of them together. I have discussed it with Varian, too, but he always insisted that it is Anduinâs problem, not his. Genn: So overall, I would be very pleased. Love isnât required in a marriage, but it certainly helps things.
Q: What do you think about Katherine Proudmoore?
Genn: I didnât really bother making an opinion. Knowing the Proudmooresâ luck, she is gonna get struck by a meteor or something before this whole war is over.
Q: What is your opinion on the night elves?
Genn: They whole society is upside down of what I have been taught and what I know! Women warriors? Friendly nature? Have they heard of proper walls and doors? Why are they so damn tall?
Q: Did Gilneans like Darnassus (before Sylvanas burned it down)?
Genn: Ummm... you know, there was this gigantic wall thing and Kalimdor being not a really discovered continent until recently. Genn: Although I admit, the Draenei were way more surprising.
Q: How do you feel about new allied races that recently joined the Alliance?
Genn: Evil, insane, creepy, and all of above. Silver coin for you if you can guess which is which.
Q: Does your mind sometimes shift between forms, even if your body doesn't?
Genn: No, not really. I donât think my mind shifts at all... It is more like... In Worgen form, I can get away with way more things I wouldnât as a human. Such as, say, tearing out the jugular vein with my bare teeth out of a Trollâs neck.
Q: What's your opinion on Jaina Proudmoore?
Genn: Batshit crazy. But it was a long time coming. Genn: There was this whole Arthas thing, then she lost her father, then there was Arthas again, the Theramore got destroyed... Jaine deserves support and a bit of pity. Not condemnation. Pushing her away because she is insane and sangerous is going to make things worse. Genn: She needs help. But I donât know how to help her.
Q: Since being able to shift at will between human and worgen, which form you like the most?
Genn: I am still favouring my human form, because it is more, well, human. Although, the Worgen one is... more practical in many ways. Except small spaces, I canât fit anywhere like that.
Q: Also, any special carw for that glorious mane/fur of yours in the BfA trailer?
Genn: Fleas-Flee shampoo. I donât want to hear any comments.
Q: Genn Greymane is a fitting name, innit? Did anyone ever... point that out?
Genn: Well, the only person who did was Taedal. I consider it some kind of a demon insult. Because he laughed.
Q: Favourite food?
Genn: Roasted quails. With a touch of roasted almonds, maybe?
Q: Did your preferences in cuisine change after you wee affected by the curse?
Genn: Well... I used to like my meat medium rare, but now I am more into well done. And I dirnk far more water than I used to.
Q: In how much trouble would one be, if one were to call you daddy? Asking for a friend. *cough* daddy *cough*
Genn: Unless it was my children, Iâd hand them over to the guards.
Q: How's the wife? Haven't seen her out in public lately, and with you out and away so much, Â I sure hope she is alright.
Genn: Mia is good. Mia is good. War front isnât any place for gentle women. She is staying back in Darnassus. Genn: Which caught fire... Genn: On that matter, sheâs got a new haircut, because her hair got kind of... scorched. Genn: But otherwise she is doing good. I feel bad for neglecting her. But you know. There is a war going on.

Tile Grout Cleaning - Give Your Floor a Clean and Even Appearance
Tile grout cleaning can be a daunting task, but it is not impossible. In some cases, grout can become stained due to laziness and lack of attention. Even daily shower cleaner and baking soda paste can't get rid of stains. You can try full-strength household chlorine bleach, but be careful to use it safely. This chemical can damage your tile and stain your clothes. Use a non-abrasive scrub brush to work the cleaning solution into the grout.
If you're using a grout cleaner, you can purchase it at most home centers or from the internet. Ensure that you use a medium-bristle nylon brush to scrub the grout. Start by spraying warm water onto the tile grout and scrubbing it in circular motion. Avoid leaving the solution on the tile for long periods of time, as it may cause the cement grout to absorb the water and stain. An alternative method for grout cleaning is to use equal parts vinegar and warm water. Visit tile grout cleaning
Another way to clean grout is to use a cleaning solution that is designed to be acid-free. Acid-based products can damage the grout and damage the surface underneath. The best tile and grout cleaners are designed to be acid-free and have a quick-drying, non-abrasive formula. A pH-neutral solution will prevent future staining, and you can use it to remove stains as well as dirt.
You can also use household products that have antibacterial or antifungal properties, such as Murphy's Oil Soap. While these are safe to use on tile, they won't help your tile's finish. Rubbing alcohol is another safe option, but be careful! Vinegar is acidic and contains acetic acid. Many home cleaners contain these ingredients. Make sure to read labels and read reviews to ensure they're safe and effective for your cleaning needs.
Another great method to clean tile grout is to use a grout brush. This brush is designed to remove set-in dirt and grime. The bristles of a grout brush are firm but not hard. The brush usually has a long handle, so it won't damage the tile. They are gentle enough to clean deep-set dirt, yet strong enough to remove the rest of the grime. A grout brush is an essential tool for preserving the look of your interior finishes.
The grout between the tiles is important to maintain. It holds the tiles together and prevents water from penetrating the subfloor underneath. Damaged grout can cause tiles to break apart and require a costly repair job or even a new floor. When the grout becomes damaged, you'll be left with a soiled floor, and it will be harder to clean. Moreover, the tile grout is often difficult to reach when using a traditional mop. A more specialized cleaner for tile and grout is much safer and will remove the dirt.
Tile grout cleaning is best done regularly, and should be done at least once a year. Ideally, it is done every 10-14 days, depending on the size and shape of the tile. If you choose to hire a professional cleaner, it is highly recommended to use an alkaline cleaning solution. Another option is oxygen bleach. In either case, it is a good idea to reseal the grout after deep cleaning. If you have the budget and time, try the tile grout cleaning process suggested by Chem-Dry of Rochester & The Finger Lakes.

Do you think of life size  Mini Sex Dolls as sexy models? -ăoudollă
Welcome to Oudoll, we are an online platform that only provides high-quality authentic mini sex dolls that are unparalleled in the market. Our mini sex dolls not only have all the functions of full-size dolls, but are also light in weight, easy to carry, easy to store, and more convenient to use.
We are an authorized and certified sex doll supplier, and cooperate with many top doll manufacturers: WM Doll, JY Doll, Hanidoll, etc. Oudoll is committed to helping our clients improve their sex lives safely and healthily.
Avoid soap and hand sanitizer when cleaning love doll sex. Do not turn backward without turning the handle. Toys with the only water-based lubricant. After cleaning the TPE love doll, be sure to dry it completely. Keep your cat's pockets clean, cool and dry. Regular use of  Mini Sex Dolls can train your prostate muscles to maintain a strong erection and perform well during intercourse. It's a quick tool to take care to lighten your load when needed. The small size of the toy is perfect for your backpack and is a gentle way to alleviate any local needs. Pocket pussy is more real and fun than masturbating with bare hands.
As a doll for silicone dolls, dressing dolls is a daily job, so you need to learn how to do it like a model. Wear her sportswear today, swimwear tomorrow, and so on. When choosing very fashionable clothes for adult sexy dolls, you need to pay attention to the size of the clothes. Because love dolls are close to perfect bodies, this is why we usually choose small and medium sizes. Dressing also requires certain skills. When wearing underwear, lie flat with your baby, bend your knees and align with your hips. Put your underwear on your thighs, lift your hips, bust and lift.
I have nât conducted any official research, I can only browse what I see on various forums on the Internet. In this forum, all the dolls of men and women come together to exchange information about maintaining dolls, upgrading, photography, stories, outdoor adventures and many others that cannot be alone. Things mentioned. In any case, so-called experts have accused us of widespread allegations that we all hate women. What is anorexia? Let's take the latex  Mini Sex Doll as an example and let it run.
Dear readers, I hope you enjoy my little report last week. Thank you for rating my dearest people in forums and blogs. You're so cute! Now, the realistic and cheap TPE doll has replaced my body with a new silicone doll for two weeks, and I have now slid in and out with my soul several times. From one love doll to another, from a rag doll to a silicone doll, I still need 2 to 3 minutes, which is much faster than other methods, but it works better every time, I think it can even be better adult  Mini Sex Dolls made from replacement cloth.

Find Your New Feathered Friend: Top 5 Pet Birds
Many of us aspire to own a pet; something to love and care for. Pets make the best companions and give an enormous amount of unconditional love for a lifetime. Birds are among the most popular pets and for good reason. They are easy to care for, they are intelligent, and they do not need a lot of space. Becoming a bird owner can be a rewarding experience, particularly for animal lovers who do not like large pets. Despite their popularity as pets, birds can be hard to come by, especially with so many different species, colors, and personalities to choose from. In this article, we will look at the 5 best pet birds and how to choose the right bird for you. Â
Why do birds make the best pets?
Pets can be great companions, giving their owners someone to talk, cuddle, and spend time with. For someone considering being a pet parent for the first time, a bird may not be the first thought, but there are many benefits of having a pet bird. Here is a list of a few reasons why birds make the best pets. Â
Low maintenance pets
Need small living spaces
Birds are extremely smart and social Â
Fairly easy to take care of
Birds can be easily trained
Birds are long-lived companions
Which are the top 5 pet birds?
Budgies - Because of their vibrant colours, low noises, and easy-going nature, budgies are the most favorite of bird lovers. They belong to the Parakeets family and are very active and affectionate pets. They are social and tend to imitate human voices when trained. Budgies can be accommodated in a medium-size cage and also require very little maintenance. They feed on mixed seeds and fresh veggies like carrots and broccoli and when looked after properly, they can survive up to 10 to 15 years. Â
Hyacinth Macaws - Hyacinth Macaws are quite larger and are commonly known as gentle giants. The birds are well known for their social behavior and interactions with their owner. If you are looking for a pet that is bubbly and cheerful and gives you good company then Macaws are the best option. The only concern is that they are a bit larger in size and need a lot of space when compared to the other birds. But, once accommodated properly, they are the most affectionate and best bird pets. Their diet includes seeds and nuts and as they have strong beaks, they prefer eating hard nuts. When treated properly they can live up to 30 years and more!
Canaries - The canaries are tiny birds known for their bright colors and vocal talent. The birds are available in yellow, blue, orange, and green colors. They do not require too much handling and are the best pet option for apartment living. They are cheerful and do not like to be typically handled. You can simply place their cage in your living room or apartment balcony and watch them being happy while you are around. They feed on pellets, fruits, and fresh vegetables. Avoid feeding too sugary and fried items and provide fresh water daily. When taken care of well, they can live up to 15 years and longer sometimes!
Parrotlets - Parrotlets, commonly known as âpocket parrotsâ, are endearing and miniature-size parrot pets. Get a spacious cage for your parrotlet, this allows them to stretch their wings and relax. They need regular attention and interaction. If you are looking for a great companion, parrotlets are the best option. Keep your parrotlet busy with different toys like foraging puzzles, perches, and squeakers. Place a bowl of water once a week, so that your parrotlet can take bath. They feed on vegetables, seed heads, fruits, and berries and when taken care of properly they can live up to 20 years. Â
Cockatiels - Cockatiels are one of the best and most popular pet birds. If cared for properly, a cockatiel can live up to 15 years. Because of their not-so-heavy maintenance and good affection, Cockatiels are the best option for a beginner pet owner. They require a spacious cage with toys and perches. They are very talkative and can be trained to mimic sounds and sing, whistle, and make noises. They feed on seeds and fresh fruits and vegetables. If handled properly and trained, you can expect kisses and whistles from them!
How to choose the right bird for you?
Choosing the right bird for you is an important step. Birds can live a long time. So it is important to choose the right one for you. There are a lot of options. So choosing the right one for your lifestyle can be overwhelming. Here are some factors to consider when choosing the right bird.
Your space of living and lifestyle
Your level of experience as a pet parent
Budget considerations Â
The life span of a bird
Kids and other pets in your home
Allergies and special conditions of your family members
No matter which breed of bird you choose, minimum maintenance is a must. Alwine OC stuff 2
In order to flush out some ocs I'm gonna borrow this info sheet made by @willowiswriting!
The first one I post is gonna be Alwine but then later today, hopefully, I'm gonna introduce my second OC who will be a vital character in The Waters of March.
So anyways this is pretty long so under the cut it goes!
THE BASICS:
Name: Alwine Elenora Fries
Nick Names: Winnie (most common), Al, Allie
Age: 24 (234)
Gender identity: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Role in story: Sole Survivor
Hair color/texture: Dirty Brown, Long to Medium Shag Cut with Gentle Curls
Skin color/texture: #ccaf85, softer texture the woman was good on moisturizer and sunscreen prewar
Eye color: Green Hazel
Scars: Deeper scar that trails from left side of chin to upper right side of lip, long claw tracks from deathclaw encounter trailing from lower right torso to center/left of chest
Other notable features: Old Lines style tattoo in center of her back, Mole on right cheek
âDefaultâ outfit: Pair of military green cargo pants and white tank top usually paired with combat boots and her old military holotags from prewar. In colder months she wears a leather bomber jacket.
EXTERNAL/OUTWARD PRESENCE:
How do they move and carry themselves? Pace, rhythm, gestures, energy?
Fairly proud. Alwines time in the military, despite being primarily a mechanic and not seeing much front line action, has trained her to walk with purpose and pride. Shoulder pinned back, high chin, legs shoulder length apart and ready to move at a moments notice. Although, she often moves her hands while she speaks and being quite quick on her feet make her appear energized and animated.
How much physical space do they use, active and at rest?
Alwine is fairly small in height, a modest 5"3, when she's resting she requires little to no space. She sleeps comfortably almost anywhere. In combat she similarly doesn't require too much room to maneuver although it's probably safest to give her space. She may be short but she's built like a rugby player. Double recommended for when she's in power armor.
How do they position themselves in a group? Do they like to be the center of attention, or do they hang back at the edges of a crowd?
Wallflower all the way. But she isn't afraid to take charge when necessary.
How does their size or build influence how they use their body, if it does?
As stated above Alwine will not hesitate to tackle you like its a game of rugby. She may be short but she is fast and built like a brick. Her small height, on the other hand, makes it easy for her to flank her enemies. It also helps for the element of surprise. More than once has she simply plowed into an overconfident raider. She has learnt to throw her weight around.
What are they like in motion -â in different environments, and in different activities? What causes the differences between these?
For most combat situations think bull in a china shop. In stealth missions, however, she is surprisingly nimble. She has a preference for long range combat but if pressed is equally confident in close combat. That 'in-between' area for long and short distance can be a weakness for her. Because of this once long-range is no longer suitable she will work quickly to close distance between herself and her foe(s). If she's in a domestic or civilian setting she is surprisingly quiet and quick. Likely due to her height she can easily slip out of a crowd if necessary. Unfortunately, Alwine is quite bumbly and clumsy. On several occasion she has bumped into someone, or something, she shouldn't have or tripped in combat.
How do they physically engage with other people, inanimate objects, and their environment? What causes the differences between these?
For human contact Alwine keeps her distance for the most part. She avoids touching/ physical contact unless she is completely comfortable with said person.
For inanimate/ environmental contact she will constantly explore through touch although not as much for wildlife.
Alwine is naturally touch sensitive and finds it easier to explore the natural world around her by touching. That being said because of this sensitivity she becomes uncomfortable making contact with other people as she finds it can be too intimate. Mostly she worries about making others uncomfortable through her own touch.
Where and when do they seem most and least at ease? Why? How can you tell?
Alwine is most at ease when she feels completely alone or in some cases alone with close friends.
She's least at ease when she senses that either herself of those she cares about are in danger. Alwine is also very uncomfortable in large groups of people as she finds it overwhelming. She is also very uncomfortable in water as she cannot swim.
It's fairly easy to tell when Alwine get's uncomfortable. She basically becomes almost completely mute save for a few choice words/ sounds. She will also position herself either beside/ behind whoever she is traveling with standing much more closely than she normally would if she were completely comfortable.
How are they vocally expressive? What kind of voice, accent, tones, inflections, volume, phrases and slang, and manner of speaking do they use?
Tonally, Alwines voice is a bit lower but still distinctly feminine think Jennifer Hale but with a very slight southern drawl. Her voice doesn't fluctuate much in pitch and can come off an monotone or flat which can be difficult to hear if one is not trained to it. To her benefit it comes in handy when dealing in precarious social situations. When necessary she can, and will, raise her voice but very rarely.
How are they bodily expressive? How do they use nonverbal cues such as their posture, stance, eyes, eyebrows, mouths, and hands?
Her posture is fairly stiff, again, military-esque. Alwines big on eye contact no matter the scenario. She's a big believer that the eyes are the windows to a persons, or creatures, soul. Her eyebrows are only really indicative of whether she is thinking or stressed in the form of a furrow. Her mouth is probably the most expressive of her facial features from smirks to snarls. Like stated above, she's very animated. If her hands stop moving while she's talking that's a very good indicator she's about to start swinging them.
INTERNAL:
What is their greatest fear?
Death. Not her own though. The deaths of those she loves and cares about terrify the daylights out of her. Close second is water.
What are some misbeliefs about the world?
That good is inherent in all people.
What is the best thing about their life?
Danse.
What is the worst thing about their life?
Her own child but she don't know that yet. Beyond this, probably the world blowing up in nuclear fire and her husband getting capped. Also giant bugs.
What do they most often look down on people for?
Lack of Honor. Alwine can even respect raiders who are capable of keeping their word but anyone who uses deceit to get what they want is abhorrent.
What makes their heart feel alive?
Action of all kinds. To be in movement or roughhousing is the peak of excitement for Alwine. Also, storms by the ocean. Alwine has a soft spot for Far-Harbor because of this. She is also in love with sunrises on the deck of the Prydwen.
What makes them feel loved, and who was the last person to make them feel that way?
Small actions that let her know she is thought about. Anything between trinkets that remind the person of Alwine to small personal actions based on what she's said in the past. (ie. sneaking extra snacks that she said she likes, books that she misses, mods that she's been looking for etc.). The last person to make her feel this way was Danse.
How do they manage their energy, exhaustion, tension, or other strong emotions?
If she's more energetic then she'll try to work it off either through workouts or hard labor that she can do around settlements or the Prydwen. Exhaustion is cured by coffee or Nuka Cola if they're available. If not available then the nearest hole to crawl in to sleep is the best cure. Alwine ignores tension hoping that more work will wear it off.
What energizes and drains them most?
Alwine finds stressful situations to be most draining (such as hostage situations or anything that could result in bystander/civilian death) as well as long periods of social interaction. Once the element of extreme danger has been removed, however, Alwine finds anything with the smallest hint of danger to be invigorating.
What kind of inner life do they have â rich and imaginative? Calculating and practical? Full of doubts and fears? Does it find any sort of outlet in their lives?
Definitely rich and imaginative. Alwine is naturally curious harboring a childlike wonder about this new world. She's practical but prefers optimism. Calculating but if she doesn't like the odds she'll pretend everything's fine. This can come off as overconfident but deep down she's screeching. Her inner turmoil are difficult to read and she's good at hiding them. Most have to pry it out of her.
Do they dream? What are those dreams like?
Alwine has always had lucid dreams. Fortunately for her they are still mostly 'dreamlike' and cryptically strange. On occasion they do take the form of realistic night terrors waking her up in a fit of action. Good or bad she remembers every dream. Prewar she used to keep a dream journal.
Are they more shaped by nature or nurture â who they are, or what has happened to them? How have these shaped who theyâve become as a person?
Nature and Nurture both affect how we develop psychologically especially during our early developmental stages. Generally, once a person develops a set concept of how the world works it can be very difficult to break that short of horrific trauma. That being said, when the bombs blew up and (almost) everyone died Alwine has surprisingly kept her moral and ethical standards. If anything she's become a bit more socially unhinged. So nurture? I think? This one was a bit too confusing for my overthinking little pea-brain.
(Potentially ignoring the plot if it wouldnât normally play into their life,) what kind of person could they become in the future? What are some developmental paths that they could take, (best, worst, most likely?) what would cause them to come to pass, and what consequences might they have? What paths would you especially like to see, and why?
that would be spoiling ;)
Does their perception of who they are align with how other people see them? Why or why not?
Alwine see's herself as mostly just an average joe. A little awkward but trying her best. She thinks she's unassuming. When first meeting her, in a relatively safe space that the commonwealth can provide, you might think the same. But, if ever seen in combat or a life and death situation this perception is starkly contrasted. She appears almost graceful. At least up until she falls flat on her face or straight into you (or an enemy). Surprisingly light hearted/ always smiling she radiates a calm and happy energy yet is also dead serious when appropriate. She hates leading and doesn't see herself as a leader yet seems to always take charge and show exemplary coordination and tactic in the heat of combat.
Top three things they value most in life?
shaun, danse, friends, laser rifle
FUN:
Whatâs their favorite book, movie, and band? (Modernize them if itâs a fantasy setting)
A real fun gal at parties, Alwines favourite book was an outdated encyclopedia about dinosaurs.
Her favourite movie is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. She loves old westerns.
Similarly she enjoys old western music. Johnny Western, Lorne Green, Marty Robbins, and Patsy Cline are just some of her many favourite singers.
Favorite color?
Juniper Green
Least favorite color?
Anything neon
Favorite food/cuisine?
Soups. Any soups and all soups from anywhere. Preference for spicy brothy soups but will not complain if its anything but.
What associations do they bring to mind? Words or phrases, images, metaphors or motifs? Why?
Rainy days. Rain on pavement and deep wood moss and dirt. Second hand cigarette smoke on a warm summer night. A warm house on a cold evening with the smell of hot supper wafting from the kitchen over a woodstove fire. Knowing eyes. Cedar bark and pine. Slivers on the hands. Drunk laughs. A dog at the foot of a bed. A firm grip. A cold rock in the hand. A hot breath on your neck. The tenderness of a bruise. Lilacs in the rain. Stiff shoulders and muscles. Bare feet in dewy grass. A heavy blanket. A warm smile.
Is there an object they canât bear to part with and why?
Her Laser Rifle. It's quiet, strong, and deadly against almost everything in the commonwealth. She also carries an assortment of small gifts and trinkets on her person from various friends.
Describe three typical outfits for them, top to bottom.
1. Casual Gear: Black or White tank top, Green military grade cargo pants, Leather combat boots, and military heavy plate armor on top.
2. BOS Gear: BOS Jumpsuit (usually the top is zipped down and tied at the waist when in a 'safe' area or on the Prydwen), White or Black tank top, Leather combat boots, BOS grade heavy plate armor on top, BOS dogtags.
3. Casual wear (only when in 'safe' areas such as sanctuary or diamond city): Plaid overshirt, white tank top, heavy blue jeans, belt, leather combat boots.
What names or nicknames have they been called throughout their life?
Al or Winnie. In practice, Winnie is more commonly used than her own name.
Describe their daily routine.
Wake up early (around 4-6 am), eat breakfast, check over armor and weapons, do daily tasks/missions, eat dinner, modify/repair armor and weapons, go to bed (around 9pm-12am)
Their go-to cure for a bad day?
A quiet night in. Either relaxing in the arms of another or sleeping off her misery. If it's particularly aggravating she'll need some kind of physical activity to work out her anger.
