fun side note fact (anon with husband here). My sister's best friend is pre med too! She doesn't believe in Covid or the vaccines. And told my sister that an epidural doesn't exist anywhere but in movies. It's called a spinal anesthesia in real life. A simple google search helped my sister figure out that her friend is full of bs. And showed us that even our med schools are shitty.

Side side note, the girl also said that the best way to avoid getting Covid is constantly drinking water so that when the virus lands on your lips, you drink it away, and it gets destroyed by your stomach acid. I'd love to know where she got that from but she doesn't take questioning her statements lightly and considers it a personal attack. She's almost finished with med school. And I hope I leave the country before she does lmaoo

i’ve started babysitting for a VERY christian family which is great because they pay me a lot of money but as someone who was raised almost completely agnostic it’s kind of insane. the 2 year old keeps asking me to read her stories from the bible. (why are we reading david and goliath to a 2 year old????) the 5 year old told me today that he was going to bring his legos to heaven with him. he also has repeatedly told me that the lego spaceships he builds are stronger than jesus. (not sure what to say to that. do i deny it??? are things allowed to be stronger than jesus??) had to stop myself mid sentence today because i almost told them im not going to heaven which would DEFINITELY have caused several meltdowns. they’re also both completely fascinated by my nose ring
