one thing abt tmg is because i participate in Online Community i often dismiss my own spinterest as not that intense cuz i'm comparing myself to like. the people who run annotatedtmg.org or the people who've taught themselves about audio equipment in order to better record tmg gigs. sometimes i have to remember lots of people listen to music without ever even checking if their band has a dedicated wiki, never mind sitting down and systematically reading through the individual song pages on that wiki for twenty five years worth of albums.
