it feels hypocritical to rb that last post while also celebrating the moon landing like. dont interpret the posts ive rbed about the moon landing as patriotism. i dont like that we got to space bc we were having a dick measuring contest with another country. i dont like how militarized american space travel is. also i think i should have been on the moon instead of those two bozos
#ive got a lot of thoughts about space and most of it is informed by my childhood desperation to be an astronaut#that has since soured because im a commie. we shouldnt really be up there til we figure out our shit down here#maybe im being too reductionist and not looking into the nationalism thats been ingrained into me since birth by this country#but i dont. like this country. at all.
