I think it's kinda funny that ppl assume that Jason was like obsessed with accusing Eddie of Satanism before his girlfriend got turned into a pretzel in his living room
#like...i think he just thought he was annoying#that charactwr bugs me sm bc like#what the fuck was he supposed to think actually like yeah he reacted like a psycho#but esp when he walks into creel house and max is in a fuckin trance#and his buddy flew into the air while they were chasing eddie#like ...honestly what is another conclusion hes meant to be draw from all of that#also it does kinda seem like vecna had kind kf a personak grudge against eddie huh#its the whole witch hunt plotline with real magic which i hate so much bc it completely negates the point#if u make a story about salem with real witches you are validating irl lynch mobs whos whole thing was randomly accusing anybody#a of whom are innocent bc rhe crime doesnt even exist#like the eddie plot is based on a true story but there was 0 evidence pointing tk the real guy besides a cop saying he was a satanist#what are you actually saying when you make a plot based on that story where real magic was rhe one killing people#that the cop was right about the satanism p much but just had the wrong guy?#is that what you really wanna go with?#if u have a plotline about somebody being falsely accused of a supernatural crime#it...cant have real magic in it#the story stops working when theres real magic in it then its just somebody being falsely accused of the crime#sorry this is kind of a pet peeve i kinda wanna write an essay or something snd just send it to movie studios in october
