han always seemed so cool as a kid and then you watch empire as an adult and go oh that man can barely keep his ship together let alone start a romance or maintain a friendship

HE’S SO FUNNY i’m so happy the sequels made him an epic divorce man it’s so clearly the natural conclusion of the character. he IS cool in many ways both because he was written to be and because he does a lot of stuff that is inherently cool because it’s star wars but also he is kind of a weird lame guy who sucks in many respects. and it’s awesome
