pmd 3 is so good. something that really gets to me is how much hydreigon balances out the nihilistic view the other characters hold. dont get me wrong, partner Also has this role but it's especially present in hydreigon. in a bery nihilistic every man for himself type world, hydreigon's boundless kindness is so incredibly refreshing. gates strikes a very delicate balance, one that both hydreigon and partner are absolutely necessary for keeping.

OH YEAH NO ABSOLUTELYYYY. At some points I was kinda scared the Doom-and-Gloom speech was gonna be repeated over and over (Don’t get me wrong I really liked Gurdurr and especially Virizion’s) but I think if we got Munna’s speech earlier on/Partner n Hydreigon were also sad to an extent, it would’ve dampened the mood/overused and overstayed its welcome. Those two are absolutely vital for balancing the game 😭 if anything Partner’s false hope regarding Hero staying made me more emotional than Munna’s speech.
