Belated Six Sentence Sunday Turned Snippet

I’m in a “It’s All Fun and Games” sort of mood. :)

“Awwwww, look at them!” Adora whispered with near literal hearts in her eyes.

And Glimmer did.

Catra was curled up into a tight little ball, faintly smiling face somehow but tucked into her knees and resting on her forearms while Scorpia was sprawled on top of her. Giant claws boxed Catra in while the princess drooled a little bit which Glimmer could not wait to see the results of in the morning. On top of both her friends was Entrapta, who’s hair was fully down and draped around them like the world’s worst blanket. Entrapta mumbled and tried to nuzzle deeper into Scorpia’s ear, and in turn Scorpia lightly squeeze Catra, who gave the softest little “mrrp!” before purring for a second.

Did this make up for everything the Super Pal Trio had ever done? Glimmer blinked the tears away as she looked at the subdued and now outrageously adorable gremlins. Yeah, maybe. Probably not actually, but right this second absolutely it might. …who was she kidding?

She slowly drank more of her coffee to hide her own fond smile, because, yeah okay. It was cute as fuck and she could not lie about it. Bow squished his cheeks together as his happy squeeing went out of normal hearing range, and Adora wrapped them both up in one arm side hugs.

“They’re just a three woman poisonous rat pile!” Adora said with the same sort of joy Glimmer had heard new mother’s use to describe their baby’s laughter.

She managed to not choke by sheer dumb luck. Glimmer quietly spit her sip back into the mug to ask, “I’m sorry, did you say poisonous rat pile!?”
