yesterday while we were polishing/rolling silverware, another waitress was asking me how i've been enjoying working at this restaurant, and i said it beats the HELL out of working at chili's. and she said "you worked at chili's?!" and i said "yeah, there were two or three chili's locations in my town, and ours was the worst one, and everybody there knew it. i was on roach patrol because i was the only one who gave a fuck. on my first day, the bartender said, you the new guy? welcome to the trenches, buddy!" and she laughed, and then i asked her "you ever watch mash?" and she nodded and i said "you remember when bj first got there, and everything was so horrific that he ended up puking on the side of the road? that's what it was like to work at that chili's." and then a waiter who was refilling the salad dressings yelled at full volume THE FUCK YOU DOING WATCHING MASH? FUCKIN NICK AT NITE EXCLUSIVE and i LOST it laughing. there's no coming back from that for me
