Hello Ethan!! Its still Wednesday where I am and you happened to reply to my worldbuilding wednesday post so here I am 😌 I'll try to be in here as often as I can and/or as often as you'd like! 

So first: we may have brought it up in the past but tell us what sort of world you got going on! Is your setting high fantasy, alternative history, maybe even based in an established/published universe from another source that you're building upon (like dnd)? Ex: mine is low fantasy, just trying to have fun with my own lil spin on classic medieval second world fantasy :) 

Also tell us if you have any specific interests or things you're focusing on! Like history, magic, food, whatever. If you have more than one setting u can pick a main one rn if you don't want to do this for all of them lol

Hi Emry! I totally forgot today was Wednesday lol. I’ve got two main worlds/stories but for this I’ll just focus on one of them. 

This one is a sci-fi/fantasy galaxy with 7 planets and 2 suns and too many moons to keep track of. My main characters and story take place on a moon made up almost entirely of water, mostly deadly, stormy seas. The conditions on the surface aren’t livable so everyone lives in underwater structures built into the rock that makes up the rest of the moon.

It’s mostly based around war. Most everyone has some sort of power or physical attribute that they got through many generations of scientific advancement and selective breeding. This moon uses its citizens in an ongoing series of wars trying to conquer the neighboring planets and moons and are pretty successful with that since they’ve designed people specifically for violence whereas other places either haven’t tried to modify people or have used it for peaceful purposes.

Oooh, I do use working titles for my fics! The majority of them are just extremely literal descriptions though—stuff along the lines of “Chrobin Post Battle Hurt/Comfort”, “Chrobin DoD”, “10th Anniversary One shot” and “Fake Dating Chap. 1”.

The only fic that had a more interesting working title was Half Orange….the original file for which is named “Wombo” which is short for “Wombo Chrombo” which I believe is a reference to a build for Legendary Chrom that I once saw on a gaming website. Clearly it left an impression LOL

Also this isn’t exactly a working title, but I did consider an alternative name for We Are Tied Like Two in Tethers—that being Something New, Something Blue!

"You're—...what?" Just as the adeptus was about to teleport away, Itto's voice stopped him. Reluctantly, Xiao tore his attention from the group of Abyss Mages huddled at the base of a cliff a ways ahead, instead pivoting to look at Itto with confusion.

"It is dangerous," he stated the obvious with blunt exasperation. This wasn't some pleasant afternoon stroll. Xiao's patrols across Liyue were full of danger; that was the point. Just one Abyss Mage was enough to pose a threat to most mortals, even more so with multiple of different elemental alignments.

Thus, it was his duty to act. He couldn't allow the other to put himself at risk.

"I will take care of them." Sternness smoothed his expression as his spear materialized in-hand. "Stay here. This will not take long."

He surprised himself a little by wishing that a journal or diary had been left behind. It was true that the thoughts and feelings of others were of little consequence to him, and seldom entered his calculations. But as he’d learned at a tender age, there was no harm in collecting a cheat-sheet on another’s mind.

Besides, differing perspectives on the world were at the very least interesting and valuable if not valued; this much made it a crucial step to looking on other people less as threats and more as case studies.

For the haunted au I had an devilish little thought. Has Optimus ever had a really bad time and when the primes try to give him advice he just shouts "you guy's FAILED!" Like for all their wisdom they couldn't beat the quintisons or see Sentinels betrayal coming?

He feels bad but in his spark he wishes HE didn't have to do what THEY couldn't.

absolutely evil thought that was inflicted upon me months ago and that i finally get to inflict upon the rest of y'all OTL

i can see it happening with the caveat that he immediately regrets saying it. but it's too late. it's the kind of thing you say in the heat of the moment and then feel the ground drop under your feet because you never meant to say it out loud. but now it's out there and you can never unsay it.

it's just. a bad situation all around :(
