yn on a new song she plans to release soon tonight at brussels ‘ive been writing a song for a while that really just helps explain the way ive been feeling these past few months, it was very therapeutic to write and ive really enjoyed the process!’ and when asked what the song was about she said ‘its about someone who will always mean alot to me, they know who they are and thats enough for me!’

i just got an email from pintrest that they removed one of the pins on one of my boards because it goes against their guidelines etc etc. ok, thank you for the heads up. however, i am so confused how the threat of “Please take some time to go through your Pins and remove any that may conflict with our policies, or we may take further action against your account.”

1, i have no idea which post was removed - in all honesty. I dont know what was going against whatever rule they had.

2, im not the account that uploaded it????? So why im getting threatened? i guess by proxy is the reason. granted, policy is policy. my collections have loads of pins - i treat them as likes. and organized in some categories and im pretty sure theyre privated. im just confused i guess haha. the uploader should be watched - and maybe dont allow it to be uploaded

17. What’s something you’ve learned about while doing research for a fic?

So many things. After all the research I did for the A&E fic I was like "I am basically a medical professional" and all my friends that ACTUALLY work in health care were like "lol you are barely qualified to hand out bandaids" and I was like... "well I guess you're right." My google searches while working on that one were WILD I kept getting popups from Google with crisis management hotlines telling me I wasn't alone 😭 The DUMBEST thing I learned while researching a fic was for the Infection Verse Christmas Fic, and that was when I learned that Belgium is only a 2 hour train ride from London which sparked an entire debate in my friend group about how when we all went to the UK last year, and I was suckered into going back to Paris (my least favorite city) for the night, I could have gone to Belgium and had a BELGIUM WAFFLE IN BELGIUM for a shorter train ride. Don't worry though, I've made such a big deal about it that I'm going to get my waffle when I go back this summer 😎 The things we learn while researching fic lol

18. What’s one of your favorite lines you’ve written in a fic?

Another line I really liked is from the Infection Fic Verse Christmas Fic - It's Christmas (So This is Gonna Be a Nightmare) It gave me Pete Wentz vibes personally, and it might seem pretentious and ridiculous to the reader but WOW did it make me go hell yeah this is ridiculous and I love it: Despite how fucking happy he was, he also couldn’t recall a time when he had been more paranoid that one wrong move could send the fragile house of cards that was his life crumbling down around him like waves against the shore beating down a sandcastle.

24. Share a moodboard for (one of) your current WIP(s).

Oh god, okay SO I've never made a moodboard before BUT I have just attempted to throw one together for my upcoming Equestrian AU - all of the pictures came from Pintrest I apologize if this is horrific my Equestrian AU is my self indulgent baby at the moment which is why it is the fic that gets the mood board lol I also have no idea if I even did this right because I've never made one before...

So - hmmgh. There's a couple things here.

First, to directly answer your question: you're always gonna be taking a risk, these days, that they don't actually mean 'kin when they say "kin". Limited amount you can do about that. The best approach on that front is probably to prod around at or just straight-up ask what they mean when they say that (ie, "you mean like you are shamura, or like you really like and relate to them? sorry people use kin a couple different ways so I wanted to check ^^;" would probably be how I'd phrase it). That way if they're KFF you've got your answer on that without necessarily exposing yourself to get attacked if the answer's yes, and you can just go "cool! thanks, sorry, was just curious" and leave without it being a terrible awkward fight.

Second: so I want to add a brief word on trying to find people from past lives - first off, as gently as possible, please keep in mind that even if this person is a shamura, they're probably not your shamura, and even if they are, they're not the person they used to be and they've changed since then and might not get along with you as well or in the same way. Be mindful to not put too much pressure on the relationship to be exactly the same, or to be an instant connection, even in your own head.

So, don't be scared of it, but as gently as I can, don't get your hopes up too high for it to be exactly like you remember, I guess?
