The way I hadn't even thought of this: but you're so right! Denki would 100% get caught up in the excitement of having someone on his arm and forget about how introverted I am.

I can see the arguments…. The ‘I just want to show you off - what's so wrong with that?' that eventually twists into: ‘So; you don't want to be seen with me. Is that it? I fucking embarrass you; or what?' And I'm pleading; fucking crying trying to get him to see it's got fuck all to do with him and the insecurities that have his hackles up; but he's not hearing it.

He storms out; feeling like our relationship is a lie and I wake up alone the next day... And the next. And the next…

Honestly I don’t think he comes home for a while. The papers still printing stories - gossip spreads. We were seen everywhere together and then… Nothing. Of course, the suspect we’ve broken up and there’s no shortage of reasons why: Kaminari has cheated with fellow hero Jirou, claims one magazine. Another suggests it was me; that I was using him for fame. There’s even the odd talk of a rejected proposal.

None of them are even remotely close to the truth.

But; as I sit in a house that still smells a little too much like him. I can’t help; but wish they were.

At least then, there would be a better reason for me sleeping alone.

… The Sero one took me out! Imagine going from one to the other - the whiplash. The all or nothing. And the arguments go fucking nowhere because: ‘Why can’t you just be fucking happy, Saturn? Am I not enough for you?’ And it fucking hurts, tears me apart; bc I know my answer… And it’s not pretty.

Are you telling me Denki is the love of your life? Go on, tell me one more time— if you say it enough maybe you’ll actually start to believe it too. Yeah, he’s got great banter and he makes you laugh but is that really enough to keep your relationship going? It’s okay, you can be honest with me. He’s annoying isn’t he? He pulls you into situations that make you uncomfortable— he knows that you’re reserved and that you have a small social battery and yet he’s signed you up for a photoshoot and interview with Hero Weekly. I mean, it’s sweet he wants to do things with you and show you off, but at what cost? Yeah, yeah, we get it- Chargebolt has a girlfriend, but is that all you are to him? “Hi!” 

Wonwoo’s voice came out a little louder than usual, making his friends turn to him with furrowed eyebrows. Soonyoung looked utterly confused while Jihoon just did his best to suppress the laugh that was bubbling inside his chest. 

“I didn’t think I’d see you again” you said, smiling brightly at him. 

Wonwoo was completely caught off guard when you took a step forward and wrapped your arms around his shoulders. It only lasted a second and it wasn’t enough for him to react and hug you back. 

Your cheeks had a light pink on them as you stepped back. He smiled once he noticed that your hand was balled into fists. 

“Sorry, my mom is a hugger so I just sort of hug people sometimes” you were quick to explain, waving your hands in front of yourself. 

You closed your eyes tightly, your cheeks getting even redder. Wonwoo thought that you looked cute that night at the party, but this version in front of him was much cuter. He pressed his lips together, trying no to smile too big. 

“Do I get a hug too?”

Soonyoung took a step forward, arms wide open, smile so big that Wonwoo wasn’t even sure his friend could see anything at all. Thankfully Jihoon was quick enough to pull him back and angry enough to hit him at the back of the head. 

“No…”

ahhh don't worry about it! I don't see any problem at all! But I'm glad you considered asking me first.

If it gives you any ideas, I have these other old drawings of Panchito and Chuy (my interpretation of Shirochito) as children. The idea of Panchito being the center of attention from an early age is somewhat interesting, for example, being famous among girls while younger seems like something that would suit him, mainly due to his self-assured and confident personality.

I hope this can help you with some inspiration! I would be very happy if you could tag me so I can see when you post it 💕

Frankie had been so enthusiastic about getting away from the hustle and bustle, spending time together alone, with no nagging responsibilities to answer to. You weren’t too sure you trusted him to pick a cabin after the last time. But the secluded cabin nestled among the towering pines and large oaks you had to admit wasn’t actually a bad choice. It had already ticked boxes with heating that worked and a bathroom that in all its slick white porcelain and subway tiles looked like it belonged in a designer magazine rather than in a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

The summer rain of Laredo was supposed to break the humidity, but instead it seemed to just turn it up. You wiped at your eyes, your tears lost to the rain that had soaked through your clothes and clung to your eyelashes. You patted the pockets of your jeans until you found the keys to your truck. You’d hoped that once you’d reached the truck you’d find Javi at your heels. You paused to squint through the endless sheets of rain, half-hoping to see Javi’s figure emerging from the shadows. But he was nowhere to be seen.

then finally joel was nagging me this morning for something not filled with angst and this quote @wildemaven posted this morning has stuck with me.

You shifted in the stillness of the room, straining your ears for the sound of the shower. But instead the only noise was the rhythmic hum and creak of the ceiling fan that whirred above you. You couldn’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment at waking up alone, not that you hadn’t spent the last two days in Joel’s constant presence. It was just that this was your last full day before your flight home the next morning, you wanted to soak up as much of him as you could before you had to return to reality.
