🍌Show off your favorite couple/throuple/etc and share some information on how they first met, fell in love, etc!

Seeing this one mentions falling in love I cant really mention my first couple that came to mind (they are more uh, conflicted in their relationship but shh none of that rn)

so I'm going with my second top, the them:

Faru is a hermit that isolated himself due to his insecurities: the bug-like attributes that manifested at a young age on his body which scared him away from his family and friends at the time.

the physical changes were difficult to adapt to and in order to not bother anyone with his problems he chose to live hidden in a decaying grove which he took to mantain and restore to keep his claws and mind busy from his spiraling thoughts of self-deprecation, finding purpose in his work of healing the land.

And so, enters Buru...

Buru was/is a messenger for a royal clan from the Cloudsong, his past is a blur between misconducts and punishments, his love for commonality and passions almost beaten out of him by the strict authority of his clan of origin, he escaped by mere chance and found his way among the more tranquil homes across the Windsinger's domain.

Jumping between jobs and trying to figure out his place in the world he found out he really loved being in The Run, to be free and not be burdened by planted fears, no firm attachments, no chains hugging his neck nor words making him fumble his actions; he loved to move and go any way as the wind allowed him, and by embracing that aspect of his soul he became blessed.

His job was always his first directive, after all he came to the realization of himself by his courier work so the least he owes it is devotion and responsability to the clan that allowed him to serve them, but that didnt mean he could take time off for himself.

One day he chose to wander off to map the land for future routes and search for possible shortcuts and tracks that would make his job easier. He stumbled upon Faru's den by allowing himself to drift with the breeze of that day.

Their first meeting was nothing short of a comedy skit: the insectoid coatl tripping over himself, hissing and skittering away like a scared cat with a non-plussed wildclaw fumbling to catch a proper view of the other.

After spending most the day failing to escape and making a mess of the grove he called his home. Faru decided to take the first step at proper communication once he was sure the wildclaw wouldn't be hostile to his approach; on the other hand, Buru was elated to be trusted by this odd stranger with an even odder appeareance.

They struck awkward conversation first, questions going from "how did you manage to find the grove?" "why do you look like that?" "are you here to mock me?" to discussion and apologies "you better leave" "I didnt meant to sound like that" "I didnt want to do that" "i can't hurt you, i dont want to", to agreements and understandings "you are weird" "I really want to say 'look who is talking' but that would be rude now" "you still said it" "not because I wanted to" and as the chaotic day came to an end, both parted ways in decent terms with each other. Faru wishing to dismiss the whole ordeal but still having lingering thoughts of the wildclaw and Buru replaying their encounter and talk all the way back to his lair.

Following encounters would have them open more to one another and eventually they made it a little custom to meet and talk whenever Buru's schedule would allow.

Faru saw their sincere friendship become more intimate as time went on but still held doubts of the authenticity of Buru's advances all by his own fears and struggles, something Buru has come to understand and while he himself is eager to push further and love as openly as he wishes he respects Faru's boundaries and will wait for the coatl to rise from his pains in due time.
