4. have you ever had a penpal?

yeah!! someone here on tumblr was looking for a polish penpal to learn this language. we exchanged pics of cats lol and i still keep that. this didn’t last too long though bc i sucked as a teacher 😅

also when i was a kid, my cousin used to be my email penpal for few years

7. what is your favorite word?

i love the words that have prettily colored letters in them, which makes them pretty too. good letters are T, O, I, A, S, L, K. bad, ugly letters that cancel the word are especially G and B, W, but also Z, Y, U and R. the rest of letters are okayish. following that principle, the word that would be my favorite if it was real would be my url 😆 but since it isn’t, my liked word is also melody. even though it ends with y, it has nice red-golden color and sounds good. words that are rich in vowels are generally really good.

8. do you play any instruments?

recently answered that - no, but i know basics of playing on some, and for jokes i sometimes spend up to entire day learning a sound shitpost to play on whatever gets in my hands

honest, clear, vibrant personality, passion, being queer, being a loner, being considerate, cuteness, commitment to the bit

15. what language(s) do you speak?

i can speak freely polish and english.

i can somewhat understand german in bits and pieces. i know its sound and grammar structures and remember some words, but most evaporated from my mind.

i have a vague understanding of japanese without knowing almost any words actually, kind of like a toddler being talked to. like i can match which word means what if given limited options.

i can understand bits and pieces of other slavic languages, and would be able to communicate with czech and ukrainian person, even if mostly in hand gestures.

i can read and write in cyrillic and hangul.

18. what is your favorite pastry?

pastries are my favorite food at all how can i choooose

sweet buns my beloved.... with pudding, with cream, with jam....

in the pool. i like the water being clear

bright!! full saturation, bit leaning into the dark tones

tumblr obviously. i spend all days on this godforsaken app, and don’t even touch any social media other than that.

24. what is your favorite scent?

do i have one?? hm. i like the smell of wet fabric, like wet sponge, towel or cotton. the smell of my cat. detergents. rain. grass being cut. paper and gloss paper. burned wood/paper. cigarettes. mint tea. freshly baked pastries.

32. are you a feminist?

fkdkcnf that's a loaded question for me, because what is a feminist, really?

as a little kid, i was a raging feminist. super into the gender war. but, more than any actual beliefs, it was more of strong aversion to amatonormativity, as well as being unable to accept defeat over anything and taking everything personally.

as i grew up it obviously changed. ideologically, i probably am. there are many problems that are unique to being a woman. but also, the world is a complex place and it's not the only way people are discriminated against. for example, a disabled woman is gonna face more evil ableism than mysogyny.

so like. I'm for every change that makes women lives better. be it freely available abortion, better research on reproductive system diseases and/or influence of period on various medication. I'm angry and take it personally when someone experiences mysogyny.

but also. i don't see those as most important issues to focus on. and also, that's all just beliefs and wishes. I'm not taking any actions. can you really call yourself a feminist then?

the only way that's available for me is sticking to my vaguely cis identity while proving by my own example that women can be better than men in any field lol. i looove when men can't talk down to me bc I'm doing better than them lol and i love proving wrong to their backwards beliefs

36. have you ever dyed your hair?

many times, i even have them dyed right now

so far it's been:

red streak, few times red, few times purple, two times navy black, one time tried lavender an got copper.

since i have dark hair, the colors end up very dark too. so i plan to bleach few streaks, like xiao, to have bright colors there while the rest of the hair stays almost black

37. what is your favorite thing in your bedroom?

my puter, drawing tablet, and sewing machine. also the enormous teddybears and the bed. the cosplays i've sewn. the stashes of wigs. two handmade keychains i've received from my friend.

38. what is your biggest fear?

also recently answered in the same ask. but it's war. it's the loss of my life as it is, either through death or in less literal sense. it's all the sufferings you are put through in the war-torn country, all the physical pain you're put through if you get caught whether literally or in a crossfire. it's hell. it's worse than hell.

42. have you ever been on a roller coaster?

yea and i didn't like it 😕 the way forces acting on me due to the velocity, feel like they're gonna rip apart or crush my body or suffocate me. it's unpleasant

47. what time do you typically go to bed at and what time do you wake up at?

i don't really have a typical time. there wasn't an hour at which i haven't fallen asleep or woken up yet. when i have a lot of free days in a row, my sleep schedule shifts towards later hours everyday, until i flip and start going to sleep at 13 and wake up at 20, then shift a bit more and i start going to sleep at 19 and wake up at 6.

but that's the case only in summer holidays.

normally i'm dependent on the uni schedule. so i have to wake up for 8 am classes. which i do few minutes past 7. the day before i really hope to finish everthing and go to sleep at midnight the latest, but that's never the case. so i go to sleep about 3 am? i wish it wasn't so. then i have to catch up on that during the day, so i take nap whenever i have time to. usually between 17 and 21 or 19 and midnight.

on free days between uni i'm also staying up till about 3-5 am. but that's neither from willingness nor from unfinished stuff. i'm just stuck in procrastination cycle, unable to get up an get ready to bed. then i wake up at like 11, to get out of bed at 13-14.

48. what is your favorite memory?

do i have one? i don't think so.

i remember when i was the happiest. it was in my own room, many times, when things were getting very chaotic in the crytus groupchat. it was when i was talking with my friend and we were either opening our hearts bare, or throwing back and forth inside jokes and silly ideas. it was when in 4th wall we were collectively loosing our minds over joongdok. it was in the forsaken tumblr group chats, where i first opened up to the possibility of participating in group chats and having silly times with the few jshk people.

in those times, i was bursting with so much positive energy that i couldn't sit in place, i had to run around the house!! skip even!! sit on my bed and rock back and forth!! standing on my bed before i notce it!! all while smiling so widely my cheeks hurt and giggling maniacally every few seconds :DD

or, if the chats get really hilarious, laugh so much i stop breathing😆

from irl memories, can't say i have any positive one. when i put it like that, it sounds bad, i know. but it's not that i had it rough - just nothing irl made me happy ever. content, yes. but not truly happy. travelling isn't something fun, and with no one i had ever so much fun as with internet friends.

i guess i fondly remember going to small town/ village festives. i can especially recall one now, that was in secluded village, where i learned to weave willow baskets, and made a flower crown, and it was all in a forest, to which i gotten by train.

and one picturesque memory i can get in my mind was when we (with mom & sibling) were in a train museum, in an open field, in some village. i was standing on the roof of one of carts, and everywhere i looked stretched out intense green grass and brigh blue sky.

49. how tall are you?

177 cm (5'10'' i guess for americans? idk how they round it)

i got shorter with age lol, in middle school i used to be 178 cm 😔 ohh these old bones

55. do you want kids?

never a biological one. no. pregnancy, childbirth, taking care of the toddler is akin to tortures. all those sleepless nights? i can barely survive them when it's just bc of studies. all the physical sufferings? i hate pain, even mildest ones. the ungratefulness? the way i remember me and children my age to be insufferable devils to everyone aound them? no payoff whatsoever except more sufferings? hell naw man 😡🙅‍♂️

i used to hate on kids and that was my main reason back when i was a teenager myself. now i no longer do, obviously. they're just another human beings and deserve understanding. still, it's not something i could deal for more time than occassional circumstances of happening to be in the same space. definitely not being their caretaker.

but i'm not as strongly opposed to adoption. eventually, in far far future, and not a small child but a teenager. if i'd have a power to make someone life better, and if my life got stable enough by that time that i could not only take care of myself but also of someone else, why not use that power?

but i highly doubt that would ever happen though. it's just hypothetical situation. i don't believe in my health getting better that i'd be able to get back on track again. and even if it did, would i ever make a room in my life for someone else to take care of? would those feelings of wanting to be charitable and a mentor figure outweight all the pros of me living alone forever? it's not like i'm able to experience loneliness anyway.

but, still, i have like 50 years more to live. a lot can change in that department, in that kind of time. and if it does, it would be something i'd think about then.

58. if you could time travel, what year would you go to and why?

if it's a one time use power, i'd save it for an emergency. if i can prevent that kind of future i experienced first time, then i'd go back and do it. if it's something unpreventable, i'd go back to like 2002, either relive my life if it's regression type timetravel, or make up new identity and find any job, investing early in stocks thing i have idea idea of, also just living my life, jumping into internet as soon as i can.

if no tragedies that i want to prevent would occur, then i'd turn back time right before my death to relive it again, also to like 2002.

why this exact date? no reason other than 6 year old already having enough agency to roam free alone, and not be weird seen caught reading a book. and i want to make the most of the given again time.

if the power was unlimited, then i'd use it very liberally. i'd go back in time to check any tiniest fact that i'm curious about. what colors were dinosaurs? how did the sky look like during pangea times? what was the piece of lost media like when it wasn't lost yet? i'd warn victims to not do things before crimes or accidents happen, if i can interact with that past. if i can't and i'm just an observer, then i'd freely travel in prehistoric times to study them. i guess i'd be also curious about the future, but i'd be scared to take a peek on it, i think.

60. hugs or kisses?

hugs!!! definitely hugs. i love hugs. i could hug forever and only separate from people because it can get uncomfortable for them. when strangers let me hug them (like the free hugs carriers on cons) i squeeze the life out of them. when relatives or friends hug me i hold for my life bc who knows when i'll be getting next one, and i'm not lettng go first.

to sleep i have to slink my arms and legs around giant teddybear. okay maybe not have to, i can fall asleep anytime anywhere. but it's much more comforting, even if it makes my arms numb

fun fact though, i used to believe i hate hugging. until middle school.

when relatives tried to, i always slinked away and put up a tsundere front.

this changed during womens day at school. every girl got a teddybear from the boys, and a hug. and i tried to run away, but got cornered by the guy who was the class' >:3 emoji. and i had a nervous smile the whole time, and when i had nowhere to run away, i shielded myself and curled into a ball. he just gently embraced me and it was over in a moment. and i was like ...'huh?'

bc it wasn't so bad

it was actually nice

that's what i was so dramatically stopping my whole life??

so yeah that's how i discovered i'm actually (platonically) very touch starved and i love pressure against me
