Warriors prepared himself for Twilight to die and still isn't over it, an analysis by me

I wrote a ton of analysis posts going into further detail on how uncharacteristically down Warriors was acting in nearly every update since Twilight was first injured, so I'm not going to do super in depth on the stuff prior to the most recent arc, but to recap:

When Twilight was talking about how he could literally feel himself dying, Wars was like the only one who wasn't horrified, he looked accepting in a way. He's a soldier, he fought in a war, he's very used to death. He tried to keep everything together and help the others as best as he could, and I'm just making an assumption that there was a lot he did behind the scenes to help care for the others when Time was with Twilight and Hyrule in Sunset 14. We see Warriors smile and joke around in Dawn 2 when he sees Twilight is okay, but it seems like followig this initial relief he's a bit more down than usual, he also seems a little tired

The Dawn arc really brought out a much different side of him than we'd seen before, he had lower energy and while previously he'd been screwing around and cracking jokes, we saw him tell Legend and Hyrule in Dawn 7 to stop poking fun of Sky and stop interrupting, which was something he himself had literally done in Regroup

and while Warriors does go back to acting more like himself towards the end of the Dawn arc into where we are now, he sticks VERY close to Twilight in like every update since

I mean he was even the one to bring him his horse in Dawn 9

And in today's update, Central Room 2, him telling Time his whole plan really just seems like HE'S the one who desperately needs to keep an eye on Twilight:

Wars, sweetheart... "If you're that concerned, I could keep an eye on him" king it's okay to be worried about your friend, promise 😭

I just think he really really prepared himself for Twilight to die so that he'd be able to keep himself together and help the others grieve and now that Twilight's NOT dead he's a Bit worried about him, because it's probably hitting him now how terrifying the whole situation was. Like yeah he knew it was bad, that's why he's so stressed out about Wild and is being a bit overprotective of him, but I think the EMOTIONS and the stress are starting to hit him, but he can't suddenly let it slam into him so he's trying to play it off like "it's okay Time i'll watch the rancher" as if he ALSO can't leave Twi alone for two seconds. He's just as bad as Time is lmao

anyways this is all just my opinion i just wanted to share my thoughts, hes my special guy 🫶

To me it all depends on how someone writes the situations happening, dark shit is amazing to read about but really annoying when a dude being abusive being rewarded in the end with a happy ending or some shit.

Writing about anything dark comes with atleast portraying the bad things as being..well..BAD. Don't romanticize it y'know? Like if you write a character falling in love with their abuser, make it (EVENTUALLY) very clear that this is a bad situation that is not good for them.

Make it obvious and not all lovey dovey, make people uncomfortable. Don't make your reader fall in love with the killer.

I really think everyone needs to truly internalize this:

Fictional characters are objects.

They are not people. You cannot "objectify" them, because they have no personhood to be deprived of. They have no humanity to be erased. You cannot "disrespect" them, because they are not real.

Just wanna share my thought process on the current set of visuals I made for the vat7k soundtrack headcanons cuz I had lots of fun composing the illustrations for each member!

So when I said "Live Again" is like Varian's version of "Wind In My Hair" well I had every intention to match the visual to that motif. So his pose in this visual pays homage to his most triumphant moment back in "Make You Proud" except instead of facing to the left (aka towards Corona), he is facing to the right to signify wanting to go out there beyond Corona.

And the setting is in the exact place Rapunzel made the decision to go over the walls of Corona from the pilot special (and yes he is standing in the exact wall she did to hammer home the parallels).

I made sure every single one of them are looking up towards the sky, a subtle way to unify them as a set. Something something "we are from different walks of life but we look up at the same sky" something if you will

I noticed how Yong, Nuru and Varian's current songs are "I Want" songs—while only Hugo's song is a turning point song number.... cuz he doesn't know what he really wants at the beginning and his song is him finally asking questions and reflecting with himself

And I also imagined the "I Want" songs for the three were sang prior to meeting each other while Hugo's is after he meets and spends time with them—because prior to team radical, Hugo wouldn't be looking up the same way they do otherwise but in this case, he does cuz he met really kind people like them and starts to slowly see glimpses of what they see too

I just thought that was pretty neat, but anyway! that's my yap, thank you for comin to my ted talk <3

So. I finally played open beta few days ago (I didn't realized it was out on steam untill past friday...) and boy o boy - brainworms are strong with this one. And also cat petting.

First of all - I fuckin LOVE mc in this version, we finnaly getting something else than a flavour of happy-go-lucky. I love the anger, love the bitterness

Also, why ya'll saying his design is shiet? yes, you could argue that his 3D model looks funny from many angles (and I'd agree with you on this one) but it something that plagues whole anime-style game industry, since it is pretty difficult to transfer stylized 2D character into 3D environment, and on the official art and concept art he looks fine.

Besides, Ina11 designs always were bizzare, it's on brand with the series and this particular design just works good with mc personality, as this time we're getting more somber character with drasticly different temperament than Endou or Tenma.

Gregory himself is represented by two things. A bear and a rabbit—because of GGY

him and Michael are like two sides of the same coin. theyre like very similar more than i ever thought they were

And from the looks of what transpired from ruin, it seems like Greg is on that same path of trying to do his best to make amends for what terrible things he was forced to do as dr rabbit. Trying to undo things to the best that he can make do with the cards he's dealt with while dealing with tremendous amount of guilt for making tough choices being put on the spot on intense situations, just trying to do what he thinks is right

Michael and Gregory are protagonists who's done some bad things in their past that they feel they need to compensate for so they dedicate their life on making sure the force of danger that started all of it is contained as an act of taking accountability

me: "I don't think glamrock Freddy is possessed by Michael Afton. the glamrocks clearly have their own ai that makes them this sentient. it makes 0 sense and i think Michael Afton and all the victim ghosts should rest in peace."

also me: I love all the art that's ever drawn for this theory so much. Michael deserves a son and Gregory is such a lil stinker, how is he NOT Michael's!? and the aesthetics of glamrock freddy weirdly fit Michael despite Michael always being depicted with foxy.
