Just curious, what are your opinion of Furuta's view on Ui's smoking habit? Does he find it hot or think he will die before he reaches 40's? Would he join Ui when he sees it? Would they share a cigarette or light the other's by the tip touching thing?

Ooh I really like this question. As with all things between these two: It’s complicated. 

As for the smell and whatnot, ghouls have extremely sensitive noses, and a particularly strong smell such as cigarette smoke feels like being punched in the face.  As a half-ghoul Furuta has it easier, but he still had to put a decent amount of effort into not coughing violently the first few times he was exposed to the scent. Years of living in a large city and working in a place where many turn to addictions to ease the ever-present fear of dying has more or less conditioned him to it.

So I don’t think he would care enough one way or another to tell him to stop out of a genuine annoyance. He doesn’t really care about the health aspect of it either, if he were to ever act jealous over Koori throwing away years of a potential normal lifespan he never had the chance for it’d be to some ulterior motive because he just doesn’t hold living in high enough regard to wonder why, the tradeoff for moments of relief makes perfect sense to him. 

That being said, there have absolutely been a few occasions where Furuta was feeling bored or bastardous or just wanted Koori’s attention, and snatched his cigarette away to try it for himself. It’s unpleasant, but he’s good at committing to it, if only for the reward of seeing what kind of reaction it elicits each time. Indifference, anger, flustered, his papier-mâché layers prevent him from connecting with people in a genuine way almost ever so he maps them out to predict them like weather patterns. So he finds it attractive in the weird observational way. Lo, the freak.

Jimmy wanted closure on the topic, wanted to know why.

Shelby does feel bad about, and like its happened with Gem, she ends sobbing and choking on her words to apologize <3

After what happened?.. He was hurt, in more ways than just physical. He doesnt understand why she would hurt him, especially when they care so much for Katherine. He wants to talk with Shelby, to understand the reason, and for Shelby its so hard to explain; He doesnt force an explanation <3
