I don't think I'll ever be eloquent enough to express completely what his skating means to me. Just thinking about any of his performances makes my soul full, and brings a smile to my face. If I remember what he had to endure as a competitive skater, and that life is not a paradise for him even now when he truly deserves it, then some of that happiness/hope/admiration/awe/etc some of it morphs into something a bit mournful because he deserved and deserves the best. He is the only skater with a program that made me cry, and the only skater I was willing to stay up the entire night to just to see a few minutes of his art.

Hanyu Yuzuru, thank you for picking figure and artistic skating over everything. 19 was stellar for you, so I hope 29 will go in the same manner. Happy birthday GOAT.

I will spare a few minutes to rewatch a program of yours today. Most likely Haru yo, Koi, I think I need that one the most.

On this blog's future...

Yuzu and Shoma now have both retired from competitive skating 😭, but they are not lost for figure skating at all! Yuzu already showed us what he had in store after going pro and he offered a whole new world. What will Shoma do in the future? Let's find out together! As Yuzu and Shoma are still skating this blog remains active as of now.

I cannot guarantee you how active it will remain though or how long, but be sure that I will notify you if I am stopping posting altogether.

Thank you for following! Thank you to everyone who sends asks and who messaged me privately. Creating this blog as a platform to share my love for two incredible skaters has been a fun journey, but it would not have been as much fun without you. 🫶

For anything about me and my thoughts on skating and anything related to this blog, you can read my introduction post from July 2022, most of what I said there still is the same today with one big exception that I will not post about competitions on here anymore. I have some ideas for new projects on Yuzu and Shoma. And I am looking forward to The Sorcerer's Apprentice in Champery to see Shoma live again. ☺️ It hasn't settled in yet that I won't see Shoma in competition anymore and I feel very thankful that I have seen him skate live so often....it will just take time to adjust to a competition world without Shoma...it will surely be different from now on...

I feel blessed to have followed Yuzu's and Shoma's journey for so long and I am looking forward to what the future will hold! Wishing Yuzu and Shoma all the best! Thank you for your skating! ❤️

guy who is being so normal about the new additions to their profiles. i think abt midoris initial infatuation with his art slowly developing into appreciating yuzuru himself as a person and idol to the point he worries about how he sees him (ex: a bit of home party and in workplace survival rules) sometimes thats a lie i think about it a lot. and yuzuru learning to enjoy art just for the sake of drawing!! seeing the lets try diy story where he doesnt even refute drawing on midoris desk and was only worried that his doodles might cover up the mascot design compared to how discouraged he usually would be in earlier ! stories. everything to me i adore their dynamic if that wasnt obvious by *gestures to basically everything*

I'm not usually one to doodle let alone post them but midori and yuzuru are infecting my brain at all times and I had to draw them at least a little bit

first one.. I think the thought of midori gifting yuzuru a plushie and yuzuru taking care of it very well is super cute,, so I just ran with the theme of plushies and somehow it ended as a capybara

second one.. I enjoyed the thought of midori asking yuzuru to design accessories for his outfits and keito ending up having to decipher a lot of them. I also wanted to draw shirtless kuro
