But is the reason why Sergio acts the way he feels is due to isolation ?

Considering that’s a POC living in a place where borderline isn’t any, and that he’s neurodivergent, and that the only reason why he’s there due to him getting in trouble due to law enforcement

Do you fell like he plays up his edge and fury is due to how the world already see him a such?

YE SYES!! you got it :3 he never had an easy time making friends even when he was a kid in mexico, but like, it only got worse in japan !! he hates being alone but relies on his toublemaker/jokester mask to attract other troublemaker boys. like . to be part of little groups of guys up to no good. like. "look at me i can be entretaining i can be funny i can do all the dangerous shit you guys dont want to do. please talk to me." of course this works, but doesnt make him exactly popular with everyone else!! other people see him as violent and vulgar and just. lazy and kinda of an idiot.

but yes basically! he leaned into the idea everyone has of him! might as well!! if it gets him temporary "friends" who encourage his dangerous behavior.. then sure>>!!! <-- here im talking about the random boys in middle school etc.

with the phantom thieves, he definetely feels more at home even just at the beginning since everyone is also isolated. but he looooved playing the hero at first like. damn straight im so awesome and important and cool. and i get to do dangerous shit. <-- normal
