I'm in a much better place mentally than I was a year ago. I have incredible friends whom I love more than I can express. I got to make some of my dreams come true this year and I'm still living off the high of it.

I drew what you described the 22skk regression room to look like. (Hopefully tumblr doesn't eat the quality 🤞)

(I wanted to add some more detail, but i have been FIGHTING the perspective so hopefully this is good enough)

some more details about what i think the room is like:

I think chuuya would put those little glow in the dark stars near his crib to give the baby something to look at when he naps.

I thought it'd be cute to have the shelf for books be one of those little ones that only hold a couple books that are easy for little ones to use (chuuya has more books put up that he switches out regularly)

I think chuuya invests in a baby monitor and the first time the baby naps alone and wakes up scared chuuya soothes him through it (chuuya doesn't even take a minute to get to the room, but it was a good investment nonetheless)

The other side of the room has a little shelf with toys that dazai can get out himself (think Montessori shelves)

I also think chuuya will eventually buy some of those temporary wall decals of ocean creatures and make a day of putting them up with dazai when he's small.

The crib is more of a pack and play style crib than the ones with slats because I think dazai would like to run his hands along the mesh texture of the walls.

I think eventually they get something a little more comfy to sit in like a beanbag and a little TV so they can snuggle while chuuya plays animal crossing or they can watch cartoons.

i turn 24 today. To celebrate, I made this comic to be a spiritual successor to lead balloon, a comic in which I talked about the darkest period of my life so far.

A lot has changed since my 23rd birthday and this one. My priorities have shifted a lot, in ways that I think are mostly good. But i think the best part about today is that suicide has gone back to being a far away notion. I'm really lucky, and I'm grateful for that.
