'I'm weird, just deal with it.' (from Vax!)

It was a recurring theme within this motley crew. It seemed each of those he had taken up company with had their own quirks. Woven in their inherent strangeness were blaring testaments to the paths they chose to walk. It made Percy feel oddly at home, though he didn't have the resilience to share the sentiment. He could hardly remember the last time he dared enjoy himself so thoroughly, felt so properly alive... He had long since accepted that his life was relative. It's why it was so easy to throw it away in the name of vengeance, protection, Whatever reason was greater than his existence in this world. ( of which there were many )

There were uncomfortable moments, yes. But he smiled more in their company than he had in years. Nights like these seemed less cold when he had others, sprawled around their makeshift camp for the night. Still, trading sentiments by firelight was hardly one of his fortes. Perhaps he had come off as a bit abrasive; his social skills had dulled with time, it wasn't like he had been seeking allies in the past years. He had been otherwise occupied.

" You're not the only one. It seems to be a recurring theme. " Though his response is sincere, it is purposefully broad. Maybe a bit stern. It's easier not to distinguish a deeper meaning, rather than acknowledge the attachment he was facilitating. Still, there is a distant warmth simmering beneath his words. Percy is not eager to share his appreciation, to speak it would make it unbearably real. But it can't be hidden, especially not when the corner of his mouth twitches, lifting his lips into what could nearly be a smile. He tries not to delight in these things, he often had to catch himself before he could care too much in the moment despite the impending care he felt.

Vax was 'weird', yes, but it was only one attribute on an enthrallingly long list. The man sitting across from him was hard to read, often difficult to understand... but he was relentlessly strong. There was a kindness to him lurking around every corner of his being, something Percy was not sure if he should pity or admire. He preferred the latter, against his better judgment.

Not that he was able to feed such notions; he had to dismiss these new connections as convenience. Respect was all good & fun until someone took an arrow to the throat. ( perhaps he is catastrophizing; care invites fear. fear drives him to think ahead, theorize a grisly end. ) His voice settles into a more matter-of-fact tone as he leans back to look to the sky, swallowing his smile. The stars are oddly grounding & for that he is thankful, " It certainly keeps things interesting, I suppose. "

youa ctually dont understand how difficult that was for me. narrowing it down to only 8 characters? aaauugh im so indecisive. i only recently settled on my top fave from each house. only took me like . 2 years to do so. 3 actually

the other characterss i def still like (i pretty much enjoy all of them) but i dont have like HUGE attachments to them. like raphael and ignatz? i think they are very cool and neat but i wouldn't say theyre at the top of my list by any means, despite me like ..... suuuper respecting them

sylvain is an interesting character (as are pretty much all the blue lions) but i just dont reallt care abt theme ...... exception being mercedes and possibly ingrid. i see a character who puts their "niceness" on full display who also deserves to get angry and i get attached so of course mercedes grew on me. plus i think she's real sweet. not to say mercedes being nice is a facade but her being seen as the "mom friend" all the time must wear her down. like. when has there been a moment where she WASNT coddling someone / saying the nice thing / saying slash doing what the other person expects from her? NOT TO SAY SHES A PEOPLE PLEASER EITHER BUT JUST.... BC I KNOEW SHE WANTS TO SPEND THE REST OF HER LIFE HELPING OTHERS...... I JUST ENJOY CHARACTERS LIKE THAT LOL..... theyre easy to project onto. and i say ingrid bc her timeskip design..... gives me so much gender envy you have no idea. i already sort of talked abt the blue lions in another psot but. yeah! theyre all very interesting but for the most part i just couldn't care less

no one asked for this and YOU certainyl didnt ask for this but i wanna go through each house real quick.... i love the black eagles w/ all my heart. theyre def my fave house. im most emotionally attached to dorothea and linhardt i think though.... i just rly rly rly like edelgard. plsu i think all the hate surrounding her is dumb more than half the time. plus she was one of the characters i most had my eyes on back in 2020... when i firtt started playing.... the main reason why i GOT three houses was bc my friend told me i could marry her / marry a girl gkdfkgg so of COURSE shes gonna be held close to my heart..... but anyway. ferdie hubert and petra..... ferdinand and hubert grew on me after getting their A supports w/ byleth. its been a while since i watched the supports / thought abt them individually as characters but . i just remember feeling very ): (positive) after those moments. i rly enjoyed their character development... off the top of my head i love how hubert was like ... we can be the twin eagles flying alongside edelgard.... or some shit. and the whole like. if he had two lives he'd dedicate one to you..... I JUST LOVED THAT SO MUCH...... ferdie's an annoying noble sure but him post timeskip is just ..... idk man i just remember loving him during it soooo much. sucks my thoughts arent incredibly elaborate rn (will probably be so after playing crimson flower again) but. yeah. petra just. i instantly liked her and enjoyed her presence. plus shes a pretty solid unit. i wish i had more i could say but i dont really think about her in depth very often. i just think she's neat :) BERNIE. IA LMOST FORGOT ABT BERNIE. shes def the same as petra in this case but just ranked a bit lower. i dont think abt her much in depth but. yeah. i guess i dont rly think abt ferdie and hubie in depth either? i just think theyre neat. AND CASPAR.... I LOVE HIM TOO..... his A support w/ byleth made me ): but hes also not a character i think abt in depth very often... once again, i just think hes neat

now for the golden deer... marianne and claude and lysithea..... oh maaaan.... ESP MARIANNE....... HER ARC W/ HER DEPRESSION JUST.......... maaaaaan. i already knew i loved her but her A support w/ byleth made me love her so much more than before..... claude is just. him being mixed and him feeling demonized and out of place in both almyra and fodlan despite being BOTH almyran and fod.....lan just..... that's just the everyday feeling of being mixed white. his A support w/ marianne and the little story he shared with her to make her feel better abt her bloodline? abt bearing burdens they didnt ask for? god man.... and i just think lysithea is neat :) plus her whole like.... life being cut short and her working extra hard and CONSTANTLY overworking herself bc of it is jsut .... it makes me so sad. her supports w/ lorenz esp rly made that clear for me.... like how she was like. she doesnt give a fuck abt the future of the alliance bc shes not gonna be there to even see it? how she said that id be better for him to speak to someone (abt this stuff) who has one (a future)? it's so fucked up. she deserves better. also her and marianne's relationship to death..... i may make a separate post abt that, but they make me ACHE. as i said before, raphael and ignatz are my boys but theyre not at the top of my list yk. id be happy if i saw them on my team but theyre not my ultimate faves yk. lorenz is jsut. idk. my opinion on him def changed a bit after going throuhg his supports w/ the golden deer but other than that. ... i just hate how he treats claude LMAO he has a stick shoved up his ass like constantly. but i can respect his more pleasant moments absolutely. almost forgot abt hilda im sos sorry hilda. and leonie. idk theyre okay! theyre def in the same boat as ignatz and raphael. leonie did get on my nerves a bit sometimes though. her whole thing w/ jeralt just got annoying sometimes. she got better post timeskip i think but. yeah

Oh my... I guess Kakashi/Happiness is my favorite one xD Jokes aside, I also like KakaIru, KakaYamaIru, KakaYama, NejiTen, ShikaTem, ironically enough also JiraTsun. xD And aside from that, when a fic manages to catch my interest in some way, I also read other pairings. I'm also not a hardcore shipper from the get go, which helps a lot in finding interesting fics and premises ;D

16. A fic you're very proud of?

Ooof... I think I'm still very proud of It was a long way, just because I tried something new out and it worked out. But I also like Til Death Do Us Part because I tried a new character and nearly finished with an angsty ending... nearly xD

25. An neglected work you wished you would finish?

don't call me out like that >-< definitely Find the Right One. It sits at strong 84 chapters on AO3, is a Kakashi/OC fic and I really should wrap that one up. In fact, I finished the next chapter (after months and months) just last week, and the few people who read it are probably still waiting for it >-< sigh. My achilles heel.

• 3. what is your favorite music genre? i don’t really have a favourite genre,i’ll pretty much listen to anything, maybe except dor techno and some electronics cause it gives me a headache. but i’d say i have a preferance for rock and heavy metal; 

• 4. have you ever had a penpal? i even have one right now! we bonded over Bellarke fanfiction and now we’re sneding each other care packages and complain about how most foods are too heavy and don’t travel well, it’s awesome!

• 14. do you wear glasses? i sure do. i tried contacts when i was in high school but they were uncomfortable as fuck and i gave up after one day i rubbed my eye so persistently i rubbed the contact out and it landed on a notebook in front of me. not to mention, with my prescription, they would cost me about a kidney a year, so i just stick to glasses;

• 16. what is your favorite social media app? app? none of them, they are all shit. you’d think that with how many users there are, they’d make a better effort to actually make them work instead of just adding new features that make them all crash;

• 18. do you have any siblings? yup, a baby brother; who is almost 24 years old and taller than me so maybe i should stop calling him a baby. ha! never;

• 19. where do you want to travel to? Hawaii and Australia/New Zealand but alas, i am not made of money; realistically, i’d love to go to England again, visit London as a grown up. Scottland, Wales. and also, one of them tiny Greek islands, where i could just pack a bag full of books, sit my ass next to the pool and do nothing for a week, that would be perfect;

(celebrity/family member) people often mistake me for my mother, especially those who know us for work-related reasons and not personally; those who know me better, say that in parts, i look like my dad, also. and when i was younger, i looked a lot like my dad’s mum when she was the same age; celebrity-wise, i was once told i looked like Emily Deschanel;

• 21. who is your best friend? her name is Sylwia and she even has her own tag on my blog for when her jobs sends her deep into the woods for some courses to raise qualifications, so that i can reblog memes and animal vidoes for her;

• 22. what is your dream job? i don’t really have one; i used to think i wanted to be a writer, maybe books, maybe movies. but at some point, i realised that this sort of freelancing without a structure would drive me nuts and i’d procrastinate myself to death; i like my office job. 

• 23. do you know how to drive? yes. for all that i growl and often wonder why do there have to be other drivers on the roads, it relaxes me. especially going quickly on a motorway;

• 24. are you a feminist? yes!

• 26. do you enjoy reading? yes! fuck, yes. i don’t read as many books as i used to (not that it stops me from buying new ones), it’s more fanfiction at the moment, some short stories and a few people have asked me to read some drafts of things they’d written. but still, there’s a lot of reading;

• 27. have you ever dyed your hair? i actually had my hair dyed on Monday ;-) i’ve been doing it regularly and sticking to the same colour for about a year now. i think i was about 16 when i did it the first time? i chose a dark chocolate and that was the biggest and craziest act of teenage rebellion i’ve ever had;

• 28. what is your favorite thing in your bedroom? definitely my bed but then there really isn’t much more there, i only use that room for sleeping;

• 29. surfing or skateboarding? oh, that’s a good one, thinking i would kill myself on either one. but i’m gonna go with surfing cause it’s a summertime activity and when i tried to learn how to skateboard, i scraped my knees so badly i still have scars. and resentment, apparently;

• 30. how tall are you? 164 cm, or something around that;

• 31. do you want kids? yes, i do but this is a complicated subject;

• 32. if you could time travel, what year would you go to and why? somewhere around 1989, so that i coould see my mother when she dyed her hair blonde and my dad without his moustache, that he had drunkenly shaved in retaliation. he didn’t recognised her in blonde so she wouldn’t recognise him clean shaven. drunk logic but it turned out to be true. and i’m related to those people. and that’s about it. for all that the world is a trainwreck that crashed into a dumpster fire right now, at least we have indoor plumbing and penicillin;

• 33. hugs or kisses? depends from whom ;-)

• 34. have you ever done drugs? not illegal ones. but i have been prescribed this really awesome sedative once, my roommate used to laugh her arse off;

• 35. what color are your nails if they’re painted? o, ho ho, take your pic! i have like 25 different nail polishes in nearly all colours. but i usually go for reds, pinks, or something so dark that it’s almost black but actuallu isn’t;
