sooo yeah with Nyssa (Three/Captain) i really dont have that many headcanons?? they had an ok home life but she always just strived for adventure (of course that hope in his eyes would be immediately crushed by the octarians LMAO but its ok) hes very quiet and looks very intimidating but theyre really just a sweetheart whos not great at talking to people </3 Seth (Four) is,,,oh boy i have a lot of thoughts about Lil Judd's inferiority complex, and i try to reflect that with Seth. before they met Nyssa, they were like. pissed at her for being better than them </3 they were constantly trying to prove themself to Marie so that she wouldnt leave them, but it was clear that being "worse" than Nyssa was getting to them,,, but it was so hard to hate Nyssa when she was just so kind to them when they first met fsjhHSDF Kaori (Eight) is literally beloved ever. they lived underground with the octarians and were gonna join the army, but right when he got inlisted is when him and Marina got freed by the Calamari Inkantation. unlike Marina, however, Kaori never left the army and was left with the most unsettling feeling in their chest for about 2 years, like something wasnt right. then Octo Expansion happened and it was just A Lot. i think him and Nyssa are qpps :D Kaori is very bubbly and is just kinda filled with wonder with everything on the surface!! they wanna know everything there is to know about music and turf wars and just general Surface Things :DDD Mars is,,,,, dear god (Neo Three btw) Mars, similarly to Seth, has a big ol case of imposter syndrome, but its a little more justified this time they have a really big legacy to live up to, and was kinda screwed the moment they joined the NSS they grew up with a shitty home life until they heard about the first splatfest being hosted in like a decade in splatsville (they lived in the desert), and decided to sneak out of the house for a day to celebrate. and,,, after making so many friends and memories, participating in like,, 12 hours straight of turf war,,,,, after a week, it felt like torture being locked in their house, so they ran away btw, Mars met Lil Buddy a ways away from the beach. he got lost from his rush and was starving :( he loved Mars more than their family did,,, Mars also helped ORCA come out of its shell a little :D for millennia it was alone, but it reasoned that it was a computer and it shouldnt be able to feel lonely but it did D: Mars is just very quiet and looks very angry all the time and talks very flat but they care a lot about everything :)

I MISS BABY NICO’S PERSONALITY SM ... which is why i propose that whenever one of his friend’s see his eyes sparkling and arms waving while he babbles abt whatever topic, they think it’s really cute !!!! like !! keep talking !!
