Do you think there are special holidays in parkciv that are celebrated on all layers? Or ones that are technically different on each level but come from the same tradition?

ooooh ok ok this is a fun one!!! i think that before the evil champion came into power and the layers were more united there were definitely holidays that were celebrated on all layers!! something to keep that sense of unity alive yknow? besides smaller events like festivals and shows put on by the master layer (i headcanon the masters were performers) there were much larger holiday events, maybe one "hosted" by each layer?

and theyre all kind of the same, a big celebration where everyone gets together and each layer shows off their skills yknow? the noob layers is very music based with a lot of concerts and things like that, the pro layer shows off whatever fun little parkour tricks theyve been learning, the fighter layer has a big feast with all the cultural food theyve been making and the master layer puts on a big performance of all the tricks they know.

i also think that religion based holidays would exist since there is a god and people know of the god and theres temples dedicated to the god theres clearly some form of religion!! maybe a day chosen to make sacrifices in the form of food or something like that to the god in the hopes of a good year or something!!! like on their new years!!

ill bet that before evbo became god since the old god didnt seem to be around much there would be like different denominations that all have their own version of the holiday, like ones that only sacrifice bread or ones that only celebrate at night or something fun like that!!

i think that after evbo became either champion or god they would have a day celebrating that!! something with a lot of food i think, a big feast maybe!!

your wonderful parkciv disc post inspired me because that's it!!!! that's what my oc needed!!!!

something something, before parkour civilization, way back in the day, there was a pantheon of gods over various domains, but as time passed, they fell, unable to find successors, leaving only the parkour god left.

but one was clever. the god of building. yes, they're gone. dead. practically forgotten. but they had a disc made so their ideas and their skills wouldn't be forgotten.

but the disc still exists, and is eventually found by whoever. probably evbo because I think it would be nice for him to have a bit of a clueless mentor (so much has changed since they were alive) who's really only operating on incomplete information.

anyway the oc isn't even really the god of building so much as an echo of the god who, through frequent use of the disc, starts to build their own sentience as a being

anyway, wanted to thank you for even reminding me of the discs because oh my god I also would have loved a deeper dive into how they worked
