Currently reading? Lots of fic!! Just read ch 2 of @jadevalentine-writes Good Omens fic Living in Sin and it is so good!! 🤌 (check it out if you haven’t already!!). In the same Good Omens vein, am abt midway thru Slow Show by mia_ugly. I have also been reading a lot of bg3 fic featuring Astarion (favorites so far include Dancing With My Demons by again_please, Kindred by aevellare, and Another Path by asidian). And planning to start my yearly reread of “A Christmas Carol” soon!

Last movie? Home Alone 2, which we watch while we eat turkey tetrazzini (which we made Friday!)

Sweet/spicy/savory? Ummmmm. Bold of you to assume that I, a Libra, can choose 😅🤣 I love them all- it depends what I am in the mood for. Right now I could go for spicy, bc I have not had a lot of spicy this week and am craving it.

When your handmaidens, and eventual advisors, do arrive at your wedding suite they find it empty. It isn’t until days later you’re found on Mandalore - married to its king.

Since you've woven almost all the Realm of Magic pre-mades into your story, I'm just wondering if the Charm household fits into your world at all? Was curious what kind of lore/headcanon you might have for them, if any, since the rest of your magical world-building is so rich! I'd love to see makeovers of them in your style! (Apologies if they've shown up and i've just missed it.)

Hi ✨ I actually haven’t done any lore or character development or even makeovers for them at all. In fact, I’m embarrassed to say that I hardly notice the Charm family at all prior to Fallen Angel and after (my save is so consumed by my own sims I’d be surprised if they were homeless in San Myshuno as we speak) 😅 lol when I was sure I was going to write and begin posting a ROM story, the first pre-made I made over was Simeon then L. Faba and Morgyn and that was going to be it until I noticed Grace and Tomax . That’s when I had a vision for a FWB situation based on the fact that they’re roomies in game 🤭

I think there’s some pretty decent lore already established in game for that household I would have prob explored if I didn’t already create this entire universe 😌 like I’m pretty sure canonically Darrel Charm has beef with Tomax which if I were to create a head canon from my own story, I’d say maybe they were childhood friends growing in the slums of the Lower Realm and Darrel, like most Lower Realm civilians, hates how the people of the Upper Realm treats them and when Tomax sold out and became a Sage they fell out over it. Or maybe they were rivals looking for a chance to escape poverty by becoming a Sage but Tomax was just a little bit better and got the opportunity of a life time and now they are life long enemies because of it.

(Now that I think about it….why do I want to write this in my story now? 🤔 lmao )

But yeah, I actually really like the idea of making over The Charm family anyway, even if I don’t have any plans to include them in my story other than maybe as a background character. ✨

Are you named after anyone? yep, this may comes as no surprise considering how common it is, but I was named after Joan of Arc. Crazy, I know.

When was the last time you cried? Before break probably, I had an exam, but it was a ‘good’ cry if it makes sense.

What’s the first thing you recognize about people? Their smile. That’s a weird answer, but I can tell people apart by the way their eyes light up or how they laugh. I characteristically, have an otherwise terrible memory.

I wanna gush about how I just recently thought about how Yu.sei would show his affection to me byside the usual “playing card games, riding on runners and fixing it etc.” When I tell him what I would love for a type of affection cause I never got that and I would be really really happy if it ever happen to me, he tries his best to make it become reality for me.

Things as love notes, a little flirty teasing whispering in the ear when we are close to each other, sharing plates or milkshake with two straws, no pressure compliments.

During the WRGP arc our relationship was very basic as there was no public affection notable and no one bysides friends and close people know about us. It was something that mostly was brother by me cause I would love to give affection in touches and kisses, filled in for myself thinking it wasnt his thing or its silly or too embarrassing to kiss in front of a whole crowd. But it’s a secret dream for me to get kissed by Yu.sei in the Kaiba Dome in front of lots of people, I would feel so special.

I can stare at his face for so long and so close. I always get so calm and feel my heart fill with love for this boy. His eyes, his look… its hypnotic. I dont wanna look at anyone else than him. Ashen (adjective) from the thing I keep telling myself I will actually make into a novel about a man who can't die (Ilias) and a servant of the goddess of death (The Iudex) who's supposed to bring him to his unmaking falling in love.

And naturally this scene comes from way later in the story but I wrote it ahead of time because I can't help myself dfghjk:

Ilias reached to take the hand brushing his cheek in both of his own and brought it to his chest to hold it there with a fierce and clinging need.

It was a trespass. They didn’t touch like this. The Iudex would push him away. Surely.

The Iudex did not. To Ilias’ profound confusion his gaoler pulled his hand free. But only so he could wrap two graveyard-cool gray clad arms around him. So he could pull Ilias to his chest, here with both of them kneeling as if in prayer in the dust gone ashen in the moonlight. So he could hold him with an aching gentleness and fold him away from the world.

And Ambrose cried for the first since he was seventeen.

When he finally leaned back enough to lift his tear-stained face to the Iudex’s skull he could almost picture dark eyes looking back. He could feel the expression that wasn’t there to see.

And it was the pinnacle of something tender and aching.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered, “I didn’t mean to cry. I haven’t cried in so long.”

“If I had lips I would kiss the tears from your cheeks and taste the salt,” The Iudex said simply. Like it was the easiest thing in the world to say. As if it wasn’t something that could pluck every stitch inside of Ilias undone.

And what could Ilias say to that? There were no words in him to express the way those words had cast him loose in black water rapids he could never hope to best.
