but YES to all of this! The differences in his hair color is especially intriguing. White is it's natural state now, but he dyed it black and it felt like such an intentional opposite selection, clearly to reject that "weak" (ice quirk) side of himself. Also the fact that he chose to dye it black instead of red also tells me that I think he sees himself as 'tainted' rather than the perfect version of his father that he wanted to be when he was younger.

Also, the thing about his intelligence! He's SO SO SMART which is wild because I think in his official (?) character stats his intelligence was rated a C?? Like, what?? Nahhhhh. I'm wondering if the intelligence was representative of how he was earlier on in the series (maybe the depths of his character were still being fleshed out by Horikoshi). Or maybe we could theorize that the rating is nerfed due to the impact his emotions has on his ability to think rationally. BUT, Dabi is fucking smart. Facts. Straight up prodigy with his quirk, despite how incompatible it physically is for him. The way he mastered Shouto's technique in an instant? Freakin' wild.

I also love his eyes and smile because of how much variation we get with them. It really does add to his complexity, making him feel more multidimensional than a lot of the other characters in BNHA (at least to me). Granted, that variation is because he's so sooo unstable, lol. But it's more than just insanity; it's his capacity for kindness that shows us a genuinely good part of him, and drives home the tragedy of his downfall. Because not only is it that he had that ability for kindness as a child (as all children do), but he maintained that kindness through all of the hell he went through, and yet it wasn't enough to save him (*cough*debatable*cough*) because his hurt and anger were soooo strong by the time his family was aware he was still alive.

Also, the staples, the hands, the scars... ugh, all of it.

Bruce Wayne is canonically a very handsome man (he is called a "pretty boy" and he is in his 40s, for fuck's sake), and he is pretty famous as a rich philanthropist who doesn't want to leave his awful cursed crime infested city. So, there must be a ton of people thirsting over him on the internet. Fancams, edits, fanfics and imagines ("kidnapped with Bruce Wayne 😍 by a Gotham rogue"), the whole charade!

And anytime one of the batkids stumbles on a thirst post, they have the most dramatic disgusted reaction, loudly gagging, before sending the link to the batkids chat, because if they must suffer, then they should all suffer. Clicking on a link in this groupchat is like playing russian roulette, and getting rickrolled is a good ending.

Edit: A writer's strike has not started. The Guild's membership has just authorized one in the cause that Guild reps and studio executives cannot come to an agreement on the contract.
