if reader ended up being an omega, yandere!omega could be even worst,

learning you are an omega could make him feel even worst, it feel even more wrong then you being a beta. you two could have been a bond even more but no ! you had to be a omega, he will somewhat feel like it's the your fault that you two cannot be a bond, a pair in this case ( not that he will ever tell you that directly - unless you two are arguing once you're together )

but he will also be so much more protective over you - he know the danger and what it feel to be an omega, being treated as sub-human because of your secondary gender, he know what going thru heat feel like, he know what being harassed because of your pheromones feel like - he understand what being an omega is like, he will use that to manipulated you a hundred percents !

also he is so much more inclined to kidnap you - to keep you 'safe', he will force you to make a nest with his clothes and make his right next to yours.

another thing he could do is force himself to be your alpha ! - after kidnapping you he for sure will bite your nape, to 'bond' with you, he could try to take on a more dominant role in the relationship ( unless you express at some point that you want to take the more dominant role or that you clearly tell him that you do not wish for him to act like your alpha - that said he will insist to bite your nape and have you do the same to you )

I’m curious if you’ve come across this pic of chihiro and lin before!! A couple months ago I found it on Pinterest and was so confused and excited cus i had never seen it before. Came to find out it was part of a ghibli merch calendar someone was selling. But it looks straight out of the movie! I wonder if it was from a deleted scene. (The movie was supposed to be around like three hours I think)

I saw that image on Pinterest too! I was so excited because I thought it was a deleted scene or extra official art.

So it's from a merch calendar! That's really cool, actually. I know the Ghibli team had to cut out a lot of extra scenes just to keep the movie short enough (and even then it's really quite long), which always made me really curious about the scenes we never got to see. This would fit perfectly as one of them! It's honestly so warm and endearing.... Maybe we could've seen more interaction between Lin and the other worker girls, or even some development between them and Chihiro. Especially since the girls in this image look suprisingly young! Anyway, it's nice to see Lin and Chihiro making up for the food that was spoiled by the river spirit.

This seems quite random, but while we're on the topic of "Spirited Away images that seem official but are suprisingly not as well known as they feel like they should be",

Would anyone happen to know about the origin of these two images?

I've heard they're from the Japanese Studio Ghibli Twitter, but whenever I follow the source links, nothing comes up. Did they delete the posts or the whole account? It's honestly a bummer because these are such sweet and adorable images and I was really excited to read through all the reactions to it. If anyone knows what happened to these posts or the original source of the images, I'd be really grateful to hear about it!

You couldn’t tell if this was real life or not. It had to be real, right? You couldn’t possibly be his calloused hands on your skin, cradling your cheeks as if you were worth so much more than you ever thought. Your skin seemed to tingle as his warm breath hit it— the night’s chill suddenly becoming much more bearable to you. You hesitantly looked into his eyes, hoping that you’d find the same spark that yours had.

It felt like time had frozen when your gazes locked, a familiar flutter greeting your stomach. You wanted to memorize every color you saw in his eyes— to ingrain this very moment deep into your brain. Until you could still recall him even after decades have passed, even when he moved on after getting tired of your hesitance to commit. But with how sweetly he looked at you… You didn’t want to ever leave his side.

His face slowly moved closer to yours— you could count how many eyelashes he had with how close the both of you were. It didn't feel real when his lips pressed against yours. The kiss drawn out as his hands trail down your back, a gasp escaping from you when he pushes your lower back towards him; your entire body practically colliding against his.

He simply smiles against your lips, finding your lack of personal space amusing. You were just so cute with how red your ears were getting, your pretty eyes looking at him so needily… God. You were going to be the death of him if you kept silently begging him like that. He was trying to be gentle, but you were making it oh so hard for him to hold back.

Your eyes widened when you felt his tongue tracing along the edges of your lips— gradually making your knees buckle as he held you up by your waist. He was being so slow, too slow in your opinion. You whined at him, feeling how his heart beats faster like yours does whenever he's around. That was undeniable proof. Proof that he was yours for the moment, and you were his.

A muffled protest gets cut off when he goes past your teeth. Your breath stolen as he greedily explores your mouth like it was uncharted territory. He was slow, but messy at the same time. Your teeth clacking together at times, drool leaking from the corners of both your lips— he was either inexperienced or purposely making sure that you felt everything, good and bad.

It was his turn to whine when you tried to break the kiss, his hands splayed over your waist and back— making sure that you couldn't pull away from him. His breath was also getting shorter, but he couldn't care less. You were just so sweet and tasted even better than his flimsy mind would've ever been able to imagine. He thought it might have even been blasphemous with how much he underestimated your effect on him.

Your tears were already falling, lungs shrinking from the lack of air you both were getting. You were slowly suffocating, and you were loving every second of it. He was actively kissing you, he was stealing everything of yours— he was taking you for all that you were. The both of you were hungry for more, needing- No. Longing for more. It was just the two of you in your own little world, one where you'll never have to separate from each other.

Okay, hoping this is allowed. In regards to Below the Ice, how do you think some of the other Sans' would react to Reader in the same situation? Say Red, Blue, Axe, or Dior? You don't have to answer for all of these if you don't feel like it!

Red:

Reds more aggressive than Sans. He's not an Orca Siren but a Bull shark Siren. Not exactly known for being cold and calculating. There's definitely more murder attempts, Red is also far more successful at killing off Readers co-workers. This is probably set off the coast of coast of mexico, lots of bull sharks and bull shark sirens congregate there.

He's also more openly flirty though, he's more aware of his feelings to reader than Sans is and he's not shy about checking you out ;)))

Initially, he thinks your just like the other scientists. Dumb, easily manipulatable and an easy meal. You quickly prove him wrong when you successfully manage to trap him under some falling rocks.

Boy does Red love a strong and smart partner. Something about being capable enough to take down an apex predator like him just does it for him.

The two of you get closer once he's under captivity, which is in this au, not for evil science purposes but more so for everyone's (including reds, safety). Once you're on more equal power dynamics you find him to be quite funny and charming when he needs to be.

He's pretty touchy as well, not to the point of it being uncomfortable. He just likes play fighting with you, or just holding onto you.

Blue:

He's a Dolphin Siren! you initially meet him when your scuba diving taking coral samples. He's friendly and inquisitive and all too helpful. Your other colleagues are jealous he approached you this time. Similar to Red, this doesn't take place in the arctic but instead somewhere off the coast of Australia, maybe the Great Barrier Reef.

Yeah, he's definitely known around the area for how kind he is. Tons of youtube videos have gone viral featuring him helping fishermen, scuba divers and even lost swimmers.

ngl, this is probably the best start to your relationship compared to any of the other boys

He often swims circles around you, trying to draw you from your work to play with him, solve puzzles and even tries to get you to meet his brother. Sometimes you relent, sometimes you don't, though you do build a strong friendship.

You fall first but he falls harder.

It just hits him one day. You and him are out swimming, you collecting important marine data and him following you around with a strange stirring in his soul that he can't quite place.

When he sees you helping a small fish out of a plastic bottle. That's when it hits him. He loves you. You're perfect

Axe:

you first meet when you're out late night fishing. You had been warned of a Giant Pacific Octopus Siren that had recently started inhabiting the area but what did they know??? Certainly not more than you! You'd been fishing round these parts since you were a baby!

"....HOLY SHIT!" is what you screech out, dropping your fishing rod when you see Axe's bright red eye-light looking up from the murky deep.

Yeah you turn right back around and don't come back. Much to Axe's disappointment. Luckily for him, and unluckily for you, he has very long, very powerful tentacles that he uses to pull you into the water with him.

He doesn't drag you under of course, he's smart enough to figure out that you really don't like that.

He's already designated you his mate. Sorry, pal, you're just going to have to make do with the giant octopus Siren cuddling up to you now.

He does let you go eventually, though you do have to repeatedly promise him that you'll come back.

And you do, afraid that he'll come chase you down. Eventually it does come to be a mutually loving relationship, it just takes a little time.

Dior (lusttale Sans):

This time you're the one approaching him. You're a famous wildlife photographer and you have been craving that perfect, career making picture; and you know who you have to photograph.

Dior, a famous lionfish Siren, known for his striking beauty and his charming friendliness to everyone. He proves to be rather elusive. Hard to find, rarely ever in one spot as he's surrounded by many Siren admirers. But you're determined!

finally, after days of bashing up against sharp corals in your search, you find him! Dozing off on a large rock formation. You're steadying yourself for the perfect picture when you notice a much larger Siren sneaking up on Dior, teeth bared and claws sharpened.

"Look out!" You say, or at least try to say through all the bubbles. Dior does manage to wake up though, and quickly pokes the attacker with one of his many poisonous spines.

He thanks you, deciding to pose for you in thanks for you saving him.

When you leave, he assumes you'll never come back. He's too used to people leaving once they've gotten what they want out of him.

He's pleasantly surprised when you come back, without the camera, just wanting to know more about the beautiful but distant Siren.

He doesn't mean to fall as fast and as hard as he does, but being around someone so genuine is such a nice shock to his system he just can't help but fall for your smile.

( i will go into it another time, but i had a very, very frightening bipolar episode surrounding my blog and my role on here as a writer, friend and mentor to you all, deleted all my things in a horrible panic, was able to recover them...but in the -- what i hope is the *very last* -- after shock of my episode...i got very scared, very sad and deleted both my dearly treasured and beloved, beautifully cult followed by many of you and other ghosts of sp style fanatics past ao3 account**

**( with peppermint on it at 13k likes which...oh my god, please be gentle with me, that was a very, very hard blow and rough realization for me and i am sorry to everyone who loved that fanfiction and wanted to go back and read it for posperity and personal comfort...i miss her too; rest in peace, pep, my first born. my sweet girl. </3 )

...and most tragically of all, i deleted my tumblr blog, with over one hundred pages of carefully curated content surrounding my sp aus, your lovely, insightful and thoughtful questions and inquiries, also typed with your tiny, weird gay hands answered, in turn, with mine, torched the ev. of those memories in the final blast and lost my window into your world through that medium...

( i love you ): i am going to give my grandmother a copy of the first chapter of peppermint for christmas because i wanted to do something special/sentimental for her and secretly push the gay middle school style agenda ( she is actually very woke and thought my uncle might be gay for a while when he was younger, haha xx ), but i want to give them different names, so that on the off chance it gets passed off to my mom, my dad or manages to travel by world of mouth ( my grandma has a tendency to gab, but i love her a lot ) that it can't specifically be traced back to my dead ao3 or my blog.

what fandoms do you write in?

actively this year: top gun and the camelot rising trilogy

dormant fandoms that get 500 word spurts of Gobbets once per fiscal quarter: masters of the air, shadow and bone, mission: impossible (though this one will likely get More attention next year once m:i8 drops)

how many words have you published in 2024?

9,950. which is the lowest my word count has been in a While but it's mainly because i wrote a lot of drafts this year that i have yet to publish

what is your greatest achievement this year?

creatively, it is 100% starting The Care of the Flyer. i really do love how much love it gets from everyone, despite its intended audience being me and two tumbleweeds (who know exactly who they are). i'm very proud of how much research and Effort i put into it.

personally, it's the fact that i was the first person to publish a fic in a new ship tag.

what are your top three fics you've written this year?

what was your biggest pit of despair moment?

at some point around the end of october i realized that i had not written a Single Word in any project or silly little promptfill for almost 2 months, which was Not A Great Feeling. i then proceeded to not write anything until the end of november. oof.

what have you learned?

baby's first smut fic got published this year, so how to write smut is definitely a lesson i learned. i also did a lot of work in character motivations, since flight surgeon!maverick in Care of the Flyer is a much different mav than the mav we know from tg86/tgm. it really was a good exercise in examining what drives a protagonist (maverick) to do something, and how they would react to different circumstances (namely, iceman).

did you beta any fics? any faves you want to shout out?

i did! i beta'd for @starrybouquet on in for a penny, in for a pound, her fem!maverick AU. i also do a lot of spot betas for @twinkboimler in helping to restructure sentences, find intended meaning, etc.

what three fics have you read this year that you love?

to leave this all behind (halo round his head) is maybe everything i wanted from a crown of candy but did not get. lapin is far and away my favorite character in the campaign, and knowing that zac had thunder step prepared but didn't get to use it because of the death saves hurt my soul so bad. this was a soothing balm.

the last scene in when the time comes lived in my memory for weeks after i read it, and then i didn't bookmark it like a dummy. i spent the better part of the year trying to find it, only to run across it and rediscover how Good it is when i was hunting down recs for a friend like one of those truffle-sniffing pigs. it's such a beautiful What-If in such a (relatively) short fic. *chef's kiss*

long time followers of ladywaffles may be aware that yours truly is partially deaf, and learning ASL is a life goal of mine. the way that iceman and maverick prioritize learning it in A Good Landing (link) after ice's surgery and the realism in not having the words to explain yourself, despite knowing your own feelings? that's that good shit. also, i'm a sucker for a middle-aged (retirement aged) romance, so this fic checked a lot of my boxes.

what ideas are percolating for next year?

certainly the next part of The Care of the Flyer; i've already sent some snippets of maverick's pithy emails to the group chat, and they've been well received :)

i also want to return to camelot rising and For Real finish the WIPs i started when i was babysitting stinky microbes at my internship
