Jayce's attention had since wandered from that peculiar presence in front of him, as if looking away would jostle his brain back to a reality where that couldn't exist. He'd yet to convince himself his mind wasn't just playing tricks . . . or if not his mind, then some other power he'd pissed off (again) and was hellbent on making sure he remembered it.

His weight rested against the nearest tree, legs awkwardly shuffling to find some semblance of balance while he took in his surroundings and, eventually, that stranger still there and still impossible. Confusion wrote itself in the lines across his brow, in the way his expression hardened to something more guarded as he let the image truly sink in. “I'll take it over the alternative,” Jayce concluded, tone almost suggesting he meant to convince the entity against claiming him just yet—

“What—” His sentence cut off with a coupling of an exhale and growl. He made a second attempt: “Who are you?”

The thing with Leo was, well, he could always look busy.

And, hey, before you say anything, it wasn't like he did it purposefully (all the time), okay? It was just that he couldn't stand being still for longer than, say, thirty seconds—so, even if he personally didn't have anything overly important to be doing (him? Blasphemy!), he'd still be picking away at something. Anything. And if that just so happened to dissuade people from bothering him . . . ? Great! (Besides, he was the one who did the bothering around here. Get in line.)

When that Ethan kid stood there by the forge somehow looking more awkward than Leo typically did in any social setting, Leo was tempted to just let one of his siblings take care of it. But some time passed. The awkwardness shot up to an S tier ranking. And eventually, y'know . . . ? Leo kind of felt bad for the guy.

(In, like, a horrible, Aw, dude . . . I've been there and it sucks kind of way.)

He shot up from his seat like he'd been struck by lightning, ran his palms down the front of his pants as he navigated around a few campers to reach the forge's entrance. “Howdy there, Professional Wallflower.” Leo's greeting came with a salute, and he pushed his goggles up to properly address the guy (since, according to some people, it was rude not to). “You know the blade doesn't just fix itself, right? Like, being in proximity to the forge doesn't sprinkle forge-y magic over it and solve all your problems. Methinks”—he craned his neck, trying to get a better look at Ethan's weapon—“you need a hand?”

Mm that's a good question! I feel like there's a few that she favors based on circumstances, but there's always a few that she gravitates towards that hold a fondness for, mainly for their association and the symbolism behind the card.

The Sun, The Moon, The Star, Death, The Devil and The Lovers are just her favorites from the Major Arcana, there's also a few from the Minor Arcana that she draws from, but overall, the meaning and association of each card is something she kinda drew her own conclusion towards, but also something that Cornelia would have passed on to her, especially when she left her tarot deck to her when she died.

One of Khan's favorite colors is black - especially when it comes to clothing items and accessoires. It might be a remnant of his upbringing; He's always worn black and got comfortable with it, despite it being a part of his difficult past, yet he mostly just thinks that black looks cool on him and works best with how he perceives himself. Besides black, however, he also enjoys other (dark) colors on him - mostly dark gray or dark blue shades. That being said, he has other 'favorite colors' he simply likes to take in the sight of - like the evening sky with its purples, oranges and reds, or the bright blue sky during a sunny day.

🍕- what is your muse’s favorite junk food?

Ever since coming to earth, Khan hasn't really been allowed to explore his surroundings too much - yet, because of a certain someone wanting to keep him alive and healthy, he was offered a wide array of foods, simply to try and figure out which would suit his needs and serve his body best. Yes, junk food was part of the selction; It was never offered to him from a 'real' fast food place, however, but Section 31's own canteen - regularly serving whoever worked there - did a rather good job in preparing most kinds of dishes. Khan ended up enjoying Pizza a lot; His favorite is the 'classic' one with pepperoni topping and cheese.

⛰️ - would your muse live in a remote location? If so, where?

Absolutely. With everything he's experienced in his life so far, he'd seek out a place that's a bit further away and surrounded by peace - perhaps somewhere within nature, close to a body of water where he could sit and just stare at the surface rippling away in the evening sky. It doesn't need to be earth, though - he's happy to be literally anywhere, any planet, as long as the air is breathable and the enviroment able to sustain life.

Khan usually takes showers, simply because taking a shower is quick and efficient. However, he's certainly not one to turn down a nice bath, especially when his body hurts and feels sore all over; He's only taken baths a few times in his life, and most of them after having suffered before (both physically and mentally) - but that's precisely why he's been enjoying them, as the hot water eases pain and helps relax his muscles. Vega is absolutely allowed to join him in both the shower or the bathtub - as both locations can be used for a lot of different purposes, after all... ;).

🏹 - does your muse have any cool hobbies or special skills?

He can solve a rubic's cube in a couple of seconds (lol). On a serious note - Khan doesn't really sing, but if he were to, he'd be a great singer. Due to his increased lung volume and the low tone of his voice, it sounds deep and full when he sings - especially since he's got an easy time striking the right note for whatever song he sings, and he's quick to take in lyrics and remember those effortlessly. Other than that, the only 'real' experience he has with hobbies / skills is that one single game he's been allowed to play back at his home planet - an incredibly difficult strategy game, meant to sharpen soldier's minds and prepare them for their education. His kin often plays those games in groups, especially while spending their (almost nonexistent) spare-time, as it is one of the rare things that allows them to have some fun and socialise with each other. The game is entirely randomized and based on both math and pure chance alone; A hologram of a rectangular prism constructed by cubes, lines, numbers and letters, the players have to defeat the computer-based antagonist acting against them by solving (and constructing) complex (alien)mathematical-experimental equations while also being forced to make quick decisions that leave them no time to think of a strategy. Many of those chance-based, randomized sessions cannot even be won by a living being, which is part of the experience. Yet, despite the fact that Khan always struggled with keeping up, having had to retake tests, being classified as 'below average' amongst his own species, he'd actually, surprisingly so, been known as one of the best players of that game.

RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT !!! It’s the inner conflict thats akin to delusion. What if he’s enjoying these things because it’s what he’s supposed to do to keep up appearances. What if he’s smiling and laughing and having fun because it’s all apart of the careful persona he’s built up after all this time.

It doesn’t cross his mind that he could possibly genuinely enjoy the things he does because he thinks everything about him is part of the persona. He doesn’t think the laughs and smiles and fun are real cause he’s never experienced it sincerely before. Through time with Gentaro, Dice, and everyone else in his life though- the line between “Ramuda” and Ramuda blur.

Bit by bit he starts to realize that he’s not laughing to keep up appearances, he’s not eating this ice cream to survive, and he’s not hugging his friends to build artificial bonds.

The last time I wrote smut on this blog was when I was a minor writing for Bungo JABSKDBDKDJIS (DWDW IM TURNING 19 SOONTOO 🙏🙏🙏). Everyone sleeping in Ramu’s bed is such a thought omg kenkenrnrndmwm. Trying to cramp 4 people with wildly different preferred sleeping positions in one bed is insane. i think that people forget that the transtrender thing from a few years ago predominantly effected and targeted transmascs. treating us like we were girls who just wanted to feel special. i honestly could not give you any examples off the top of my head of transfems being called trenders. im sure it must've happened at some point, but all of the "this is a normal trans person. and this is a WEEEIRRRRD TRENDERRRR who thinks that boys don't have to wear bras uwu i don't have to shave my legs :3 blue hair he/they/xe/it and if you don't use my one thousand neopronouns you're transphobic!!!!!!!!" stuff was so so so so obviously pointing towards transmascs.

and then we got out of it for a bit! things improved! transmascs started becoming comfortable with being gnc again! trans people in any direction started playing with neopronouns and mogai terms!

and now we're right back where we were before. not only that, but it feels so much worse. back then, i had enough confidence to puff my chest out and say "actually yeah! i wanna take pride in my neopronouns! i wanna dye my hair weird colors! i wanna have a billion neogenders! and if you don't like it, you can bite me!"

but now it isn't just attacking "surface level" things. it's attacking the very CONCEPT of being transmasc. i didn't have to seriously consider going back in the closet when the trender stuff started. but i have now. on multiple occasions. it's just so tiring. i have no idea how people think that trans men are somehow more privileged. it feels like we keep getting kicked down as soon as we find a new community to just exist in. im so fucking tired, man.

oh wow, true, i forgot about that. damn i haven't thought about that term in quite a while but you are very right. while i'm sure there were and are transfems affected by it, there's no denying that the bulk of the targets were explicitly transmascs and trans men. like, i'm almost certain the term was coined specifically to harass and misgender transmascs and trans men.

people have been erasing and being horrific to trans men and mascs for decades, they just keep changing hats and making up new terms. thank you for pointing this out, i really appreciate it. trans men are not inherently any more privileged than anyone else, especially if they're closeted, no transition, pre transiton/early transition, intersex, a person of color and so on. people just go out of their ways to punch laterally on trans men and mascs and it's so old. we don't have it better than any other type of trans person just because we are men and mascs. it doesn't make our lives any easier- it just gets harder after we come out. same as everyone else.

It was one warm spring morning.

Yoongi was back from a long series of concerts just a couple of days ago. Grateful to be finally home with the two people that mean the absolute world to him. Your cat was purring on his chest as the two of you laid on the bed, enjoying the quiet of Saturday that had just begun, when his mother called to announce that, later that evening, she and his father would be coming over.

One thing led to another, and there you stood with your husband in the kitchen. One was chopping ingredients up by the stove, the other handling a mixer. Your two years old baby girl, Nara, was sitting in her high chair somewhere away from the oven and any other harmful thing. What used to be your favorite playlists playing ever so softly in the background as you fixed yourselves your favorite meals, together, was replaced with the mindless blabbering of your sweet baby girl instead, playing with the wooden spoon you had given her to play with some minutes before.

“Is this good?” Yoongi dipped the tip of his finger into the mixture he’s been working on, and carefully brought it up to your lips. You hummed in satisfaction as soon as the flavors hit your taste buds, a little bit taken aback at how he nailed your mother’s secret recipe only in the first try, “Great. You’re getting so good at this, Yoonie. I think you should take over kitchen duties very soon.”

He snorted, “If that means I’ll never have to do the laundry ever again, then sure.”

Feigning annoyance, you hissed at him, “You’re so lazy.”

“No one likes doing laundry, honey. Not even you.”

Your daily bickering banters were disturbed by the sound of his phone ringing from the other room. He left to take the call, leaving you with your noisy little baby. The chef hat she had on her head–Yoongi's idea, by the way, along with the tiny apron she wore as well–was almost too big on her. It made her look a thousand times more adorable that you immediately started grinning and cooing when she looked up at you.

"And what about you chef? Are you having fun?"

She balled her fists up and raised them in the air, wiggling in her seat to let you know that she wanted to be picked up. Being the ever so whipped mom that you were, you scooped her up in your arms right away, and peppered kisses all over her chubby face. Her giggles seeped through your skin and locked into your bones, aching with a sickeningly utmost adoration.

“Mom said they’re almost here.” Said Yoongi upon entering the kitchen, putting his phone atop the table and smiling as soon as his eyes fell on the two of you—his girls.

“Are you being a good chef assistant, baby?” He cooed, kissing her cheek, then leaning in to leave a peck on your lips.

“She’s been blabbering her life off the whole time you were gone." you hummed.

“Mom is going to have a good time conversing with her this evening.”

“We’re almost done cooking now.” You reminded him, “Honey, check on the oven please.”

“Right.”

A wave of heat hit his face as soon as he opened the oven, but he smiled once he checked on the muffins, “they are done.”

When he took the tray out and swiftly put it on the counter, Nara erupted in a fit of loud blabber, flailing the arm that clutched on the wooden spoon in the air and almost smacking your face in the process.

He took her into his arms, allowing you to go check on the stewpot that was still boiling on the stove, before bringing her to have a look at the tray of the mouth watering muffins, and cheered, “look!”

Your heart, yet again, swooned, almost oozing out of your ribs with how tight your chest grew to be at the sound of your baby’s joyful squeals. She was all excited as her daddy showed her around the process of cooking the dinner for her grandparents.

Nara was having the time of her life. For some reason, she's always loved being in the kitchen. Yoongi once made a comment about her becoming a successful chef, which then turned into a long, heartwarming talk about your daughter and her future. The gentle smile Yoongi had on his face throughout that was one to die for, especially when he sulked about not wanting your babygirl to grow up. His pout was so intense, you ended up engulfing him in a bone crushing hug for almost half an hour.

It was moments like this one that you wished were pictures so you could cut them up and hide them. Somewhere deep inside your heart. Forever. That's how you often found yourself observing and admiring every single interaction your husband made with your baby, and that’s how you ended up listening attentively as he continued to talk so passionately and earnestly with her, while simultaneously attempting to work with his free arm to the best of his abilities.

She, at one point, got so ecstatic that she accidentally thrusted her arm forward and hit him in the face with that spoon. But he only turned to look at you with an affectionate smile.

Struggling through a fit of giggles, you slipped the wooden object from her grasp and gave her a big kiss; making sure to squish her doughy cheeks—a trait that she definitely got from her father, “No more hitting mama and papa for you!”

The little girl’s squeaks only got louder as she reached out with her arms towards you, addressing you with more words of her very own and special language.

“Family hug?” you asked, glancing at a grinning Yoongi.

“Family hug!” He wrapped his free arm around you, bringing your body closer so that Nara could get a hold of you as well, then added, “but let’s make it a short one or else my parents are going to come to a burnt dinner.”

The sight of cake is always a good sight, especially when there happens to be a lack of animosity and rivalry that so often translated into people getting poisoned. Even with the unfamiliarity between him and the sender (senders, in this case), the gesture is openly welcomed and highly regarded.

"Oh, my. Thank you so much!" Then again, Robert isn't much for celebrating his own birthday, but he does appreciate it whenever someone takes the time to give him their best wishes for the occasion. And even more so when they also take the time to do something special for him. It's a gesture that will certainly not be forgotten.
