yo!! im not asking this in a condescending way, n m sorry if this is like... annoying for u but um ladys. can u explain how u think gon isnt psychopath? i dont think he’s psychopath either but i see u talk about psychology(??) sometimes so if u dont mind to sharing? soz again im bad at analyzing amd i thin your posts are realy good so ;;

OK SO.. gon is always acting with no self preservation at all as if he believes he constantly needs to prove that hes deserves a place amongst others..theres not one time he takes anyone being with him or chosing to stay with him for granted..... i think that since he already grew up knowing ging hurt his family even though hes supposed to be such a brilliant hunter hes always trying to be just like ging but better and that thats the only way to redeem himself for existing.

 i think everyone already knows that but gon desperately wants to know why ging chose to left him and maybe even wouldve asked him if kite hadnt died ,because with that hes failed everyone in every way in gons eyes, so he doesnt really need to ask why ging would ever chose to abandon him in the first place...... every person gon meets only sees the great potential that he has and doesnt ever try to stop him from risking his life for simple battles which only manifested gons belief that this is completely normal and that he should keep doing it.

throughout the entire story we see gon just keep getting stronger and so kite being practically more of a father figure in gons life than ging is seems like the final stop before hell get to meet ging , so when kite dies with gon being prevented of even doing something like trying to attack pitou directly after the attack he ofc loses his footing. most of hxhs pov is through killua and we generally never see gon express when hes unhappy because it only shows when its bursting out of him because of the selfimage he thinks he needs to obtain to deserve things like gings approval and killuas friendship and gon believes kite can be saved for almost the entire arc.. so we mostly just see him building up the resolve to save kite no matter what which may seemed like he was just taking it easy like it did to morel and knov lol

anyways but when gon sees pitou healing komugi and killua tells him it would be smarter to wait its really no surprise its the point where he decides that for pitou just taking away such a huge part of his entire life and for himself letting it happen he wont let anyone stop him from punishing both pitou and himself for it. its really important that when gon tells killua to stay out of it its not because he wanted to hurt killua but because he wanted to hurt himself and only himself.
