Oops! I'm now feral and want to learn everything I can about Mikhail. He has the vibe of someone who was abandoned, like a beloved childhood plush forgotten on a vacation to a family-owned cabin yknow? He feels soft. If I have been entirely wrong with this like, feeling, please throw me out a window immediately.

I won't through you out the window! The best thing about my lack of artistic talent is that your brain will create someone so beautiful and perfect for you based off my story's description. I think the feeling is there; the abandoned being left to rot alone in a decrepit mansion.

I will say his face, the "fake" face, is always set in a soft smile, with long eyelashes that make his downturned eyes look melancholy even when he is happy. Although he is androgynous and physically has no gender, he identifies as a man and uses his mind control abilities to transmit that fact without him needing to explain it. (Reader) identifies his voice as masculine because he put that knowledge in their mind. If that makes sense haha.

Funny things I found out playing with language setting in Netflix while looking episode 15:

Chilchuck's scream sounds HAUNTED in brazilian portuguese. Give it a try if you can.

In spanish dub, Senshi says: "tocó mis senos de hombre", which means "he touched my man boobs" in Spanish. And I think that's the best dub line one so far.

#i love replaying certain scenes (usually screams) to see how they nailed it in other dubs #ive done it with Chilchuck & Mickbell screams because they're the funniest ones #give it a shot if you can #its really funny to hear certain character voices in other languages #for example. brazilian portuguesse gave both mickbell and chilchuck un-childlike voices (in japaneese both sound like little childs)#and they reused Chilchuck's japaneese screams for most of the other languages because he is so high-pitched and full of terror that it work #dungeon meshi #chilchuck #chilchuck tims #dunmeshi #delicious in dungeon #senshi #senshi of izganda #senshi dungeon meshi #idk how do you people screen record the episodes #if i knew how to i would put the shots here #my shit #thanks to the one that made the clip on Chil's scream im in love here <3

#This drawing is kind of personal to me #I recently graduated (CUM LAUDE WOOOO!!!!) and its like. not to get depressing #but when i was younger i was never sure whether i would make it to this point #When i was going through what i consider to still be like. the worst time of my entire life #This fictional character was there for me and she was something for me to latch onto and cope with #eGem helped me a lot with being able to process my emotions at the time but also helped me to reflect on myself #which i think is a big reason as to why I'm really happy with where i am with myself right now #I'm going off to uni next school year to study astronomy!!! which!!!#Im also doing because of eGem!!! My Arthur Lester with an updated design yipee!!!

You may notice the moon theme, WELL! i had this idea of incorporating a symbol i assigned to malev characters into their designs. Arthur is the moon, John is the sun and Oscar is the star.

@teafromthemicrowave gave me the idea of arthur and john being the sun and moon and then I added oscar to be the star. This is the greatest thing ever ash you wont understandddd THANK YOUU FOR THE IDEA

The scar on his cheek, neck and his torn hear resembles a crescent moon shape

The buttons on his coat are different phases of the moon

The chained pins on his tie, represents the three. Notice how the star (oscar) and sun (john) are only linked together thanks to the moon (arthur) ...thats the best i could explain i hope that makes sense

the glasses is not new, in fact my very first drawing of arthur have glasses!! I removed it when i realized he can't have had it but now that @percymawce-arts also interpreted him to wear glasses, I felt comfortable to have glasses for my own Arthur's design again now too 💞

hopeless time loop. the way out isn’t to save everyone. the way out isn’t to save even one person. the way out isn’t to change anything. the way out is accepting how it happened the first time is how it always will be. that’s how you acted, that’s how they acted, that’s how you would have acted every time if you weren’t given the curse of hindsight. the way out is accepting you can’t fix the past; you can only forgive yourself for it.

#there's this game i love called little hope that plays with these ideas (though not with a time loop)#i do love time loops narratives that explore how a person is confronted with their life and their choices #when forced to live the same day over and over again #and i LOVE time loops that try to reverse mistakes made and lives lost #but to see a character put themselves through loops upon loops upon loops #trying to rectify past mistakes (especially in the case where people died) only to be confronted with the reality it isn't working #and even in a loop where they save everyone the loop just resets #because the universe is essentially saying 'no that isn't how it happened and you know that's not how it happened'#it compels me!#i feel similarly about time travel where time 'fights back'#like this idea that there is a central timeline that time does not like being diverted from #so it will try to course correct itself #you save lincoln from an assassination only for him to die in a train crash #it's a cool way to confront the idea of fate #anyway all tragedies are hopeless time loops thank you for coming to my ted talk #a shout into the void #1k #5k #10k
