So thanks to dark souls 1 through 3, it is engraved into my mind that if in playing a souls games, dragons are weak to lightning. Which you know in elden ring is really fuckin stupid. Using my bezzie mate placidusax to show why to those unaware.

However, what makes it even funnier is that in dark souls lore, it was lightning that was the dragons true weakness. If not for the use of lightning (or sunlight, whatever it's called), the dragons would not have lost.

EXCEPT KALAMEET IS NOT WEAK TO LIGHTNING

Favourite series is a really tough one! Since I can't pick an all-time favourite, I'm gonna split it by franchise if that's okay!

Kamen Rider: W has my whole entire heart! I absolutely adore the whole detective theme as someone who was raised on those kind of shows, and I love how wholesome the interactions between all four of the main characters are! Philip and Shotaro are probably my favourite duo in all of tokusatsu, they bring me so much joy! And I live for Akiko's reactions to everything! Throw in a bangin' soundtrack (I still cry every time I hear the acoustic version of Cyclone Effect), and it's up there for one of my favourite shows of all time ever!

Super Sentai: It's close, but probably LuPat! It was the first Sentai I watched in full, and it's so much fun! I'm a huge fan of found families/groups of bezzie mates thrown together on accident in shows, so the Lupinrangers were right up my alley (Umika, my beloved)! And the Patrangers grew on me as the show went, to the point where I liked them just as much as the Lupins by the end! (Shout out to Zenkaiger and King-Ohger too, they're probably my runners up for favourite Sentai)

Power Rangers: Probably Jungle Fury! I can't count how many times I watched this show when I was younger (ignore the fact that it's all that was on the telly most days XD), and honestly it's the show I have the most fun rewatching! I had some of the zords for it too, which probably helps in making it one of my faves!

As for villain I was saddest to see die, honestly probably Uva from OOO! He was my favourite of the (consistently antagonistic) Greeeds, he's just a funky, funny evil guy, I really enjoyed the episodes with his Yummies in them! So I felt really bad for him with the way he went out, my boy didn't deserve that! Second place goes to Kirihiko from W, the poor guy ;-;

favorite character: Michael!!! He has barely any time on screen but there are so many things that happened to him off screen that I would like to explore. I kind of wish they did in the show but first off: they would ruin it and I would do it better and second off: there wasn't a way to fit anything more about him and Adam in because they only really joined for the second to last episode and what happened before his introduction wouldn't fit in well because we aren't given a lot of information on the angels so it would be weird to give him a full backstory. Jack and Belphegor are contenders though :) I love pretty much every non human character so it is hard to pick.

least favorite character: Dean? Sam? I think Sam is my least favourite because he is so boring and doesn't change and just stays boring and annoying. Dean is a close second though, but I can appreciate the fact that he actually has a personality (as horrible as it is) .

brOTP: Sam and Rowena!! Lots of people ship them but I personally just think they are besties. Also!! Cas and Meg! I think they are sweethearts i think people take their relationship as being either more complicated or as being romantic (as romantic as it can be) but I get reminded of us when I think about them!! Meg is squishing on Cas. Cas is also squishing on her but he has zero fucking clue what that means or would feel like. Simply an oblivious puppy.

OTP: midam(?) Michael and Adam, I think they work really well together and I love the idea of how they managed to come together and like each other. They started off in a really horrible situation, changed each other for the better, and found solace. It's sweet. I like it both platonically and romantically but I lean more towards the romantic aspect.

OT3: I can't think of any, but if I had to pick maybe like, Dean, Benny, and Cas. But not as a throuple, more like Benny just has two boyfriends. I do genuinely ship Dean and Benny, and I think Benny and Cas would get along if they actually got to really know each other.

NOTP: Destiel. Cas deserves so much better than that abusive man whore (derogatory). Enough said.

favorite storyline: Kelly's pregnancy and Jack's birth. They managed to show off Jack's power and how scared everyone is of him, whilst also confirming he isn't a bad person. They used Cars to confirm that though, which is something I like, because as trustworthy as Cas is, he does have a tendency to mess things up while he's trying to help, or to not fully understand situations he is in. I also think Jack was a good way to give Cas a personal sense of purpose.

least favorite storyline: Bobby's time in the after life.

what I wish had happened but didn't: apart from Cas breaking up with Dean? I would have loved for there to be a little bit more subversive experiences with the supernatural beings! They established all Angels (besides a few) are dicks so why not have some more demons that aren't only in it for their own gain? Vampires that only do consensual blood sucking!! More "good" witches. Etc. Etc. I don't want an in depth monster revolution because that would fit in, but if more mentioned how they get treated in passing I think that could be nice. Some vampire said something like "they think they're so much better than us for not drinking blood" (paraphrasal) and I want there to be more of that energy. Some ghoul should criticize Dean's eating habits or something. "Oh? You eat processed meat... Atleast I scavenge" something like that.

what happened that I wish hadn't: for the finale they killed Dean and then had a weird montage with Sam and his son, as well as a montage of Dean driving through heaven, and then it ends with Sam coming back to heaven. I kind of wish they just ended it with Dean dying so that what Jack did wouldn't be confirmed, and neither would Sam's life. I think what they showed is good, Sam has always wanted to leave hunting, Jack would fix things, but I think it would have been nice to have that all be inference based on what we know about the characters instead of having it as a fact. It might have been nice if they still showed Dean meeting Bobby in heaven and then just ended it there, because that would show the type of change Jack did to heaven without telling us you know?

bezzie i’m thinking about grumbo on strictly come dancing

mumbo is the pro, grian is the newbie. they’re particularly good at doing tangos and they’re consistently praised for the incredinle chemistry.

lots of very funky, flamboyant outfits. grian’s often feature trails of feathers and fluff, mumbo’s are very smart with smaller feathered accents (makes me think of mumbo getting little wings after stealing g’s soul teehee)

uhhh grian gets dressed up as ariana griande for a couple of the dances, they do lots of twirls and lifts and stuff, mumbo’s footwork is always very fancy because he strikes me as someone who took tap

Hiii I'm currently reading your fic beginning middle and Overture on ch 12. Actually I saw an interesting review about it (an eru/ri "the fic that made me kinda ship levi x hange") so I said emm let's see.

I never read a levihan fic about their whole relationship development I always read oneshoots and they were already together so this one draw my attention.

Tbh I'm struggling a little bit I mainly like levi and hange dynamics because of their strong friendship and their playfull and spontaneous relationships but they're like strangers now and Hange ahh your hange is not like the hange I know that crazy,spontaneous,energetic that doesn't give a fuck about what people say, what will levi say, she'll stick to him until she annoys the shit out of him and he'll eventually get so damn used to her and get to know how amazing she is until he'll want to stick to her too. That stage before lovers that closeness they developed on the friendship stage is indispensable for me.

So my ask is will be there the best friends stage, will levi and hange escape this awareness, when will I see the levi and hange interaction I know and is there any oc I hope not (without spoilers please).

Firstly, I think you've mostly answered this question yourself: I never read a levihan fic about their whole relationship development.

So yes if you've only read established relationship oneshots and this is your first levihan slowburn then it's probs different to what you're used to. My story is an extremely slow slowburn fic about their relationship development. You're at the very beginning of the slowburn, approx 40k in, with another 100k to go (and there's thousands more to come lmao 😂). So you're at the point where they aren't very close. They start to open up soon and I can assure you they become bezzies lol. It wouldn't be a slowburn eventual romance if it starts at the point you say you expect.

My characterisation of Hange is a way of translating all those adjectives you used into a modern AU. Hange grows and develops over the course of the story. If you aren't used to this portrayal of Hange, or you dislike it because it doesn't yet feel like the typical Hange you are familiar with, then that's ok.

All I can really say at this point is your questions get answered as you read on 😅 Every author puts their own unique interpretation on characters and this is no diff. However if my portrayal is to the detriment of your enjoyment and you are struggling and not entertained, then by all means you don't have to continue reading. We all have diff tastes and life's too short to force yourself to read something so long. It's free fanfic after all 😊

• Takaaki being a policeman puts him in dangerous situations quite often, especially given how he's always assigned the hardest cases.

• So of course, he's had to have the hard conversation with his son about life after Takaaki.

• A conversation no father wants to have with his young, teenage boy.

• But up until now, he's managed to avoid too much harm - bumps and scrapes are about the worst he's had.

• Until he's put on a high profile case.

• Taka and Leon are sat in the University common room, chatting with their friends.

• And Taka's phone starts ringing.

• It's Mondo, telling him to check the hometown news.

• Of course, Leon whips out his phone and finds the channel.

• On screen is a stand off scene between the police and a group gang that have been committing violent crimes openly over the last few weeks.

• There are dozens of police, hidden behind their cars wielding guns.

• And of course they both recognise Taka's father.

• Leon immediately looks at Taka to see a look of absolute terror on his face - slipping his phone into one hand so he can take one of Taka's hands in his own.

• They watch as the police slowly advance, watch as the gang aim their guns fearlessly with a chilling confidence.

• And then the first shot is fired - and the chaos begins.

• The camera doesn't know where to look, flying back and forth to try and make sense while the reporter tries to narrate everything that's happening...

• 'What's this? A policeman has been hit!'

• Everyone's blood runs cold as the camera pans quickly to show Takaaki drop to the ground, being dragged behind a car by his fellow officers.

• Taka is on his feet immediately, running full speed out the room and towards the main entrance.

• Leon speeds after him, catching him at their car to slow him down and to get in the passenger seat.

• 'I can't let you drive like this.'

• It's a long drive back home and Taka watches the news for updates on his fathers condition.

• Amazingly, despite being injured, Takaaki kept shooting and took down three of the gang members before passing out.

• He was taken to hospital for his injuries and so Taka immediately called the hospital to say he was on the way.

• They tell him his father has gone into surgery to remove the bullet from his ribs but they can't give him anymore updates over the phone.

• 'W-will he be alright?!'

• 'Mr Ishimaru, we really can't...'

• 'WILL HE BE ALRIGHT?!'

• 'He lost a lot of blood. We aren't sure if the bullet hit any vital organs. Until the surgeons get in to assess the damage...we really can't tell.'

• The remaining twenty minutes of the drive are spent in silence - Leon knowing better than to say anything right now.

• And he lets Taka run ahead of him once they've parked - catching up to him as soon as he can.

• Takaaki will still be in surgery for a couple of hours at least so all they can do is wait.

• Mondo, Chi and Hiro all make their way to the hospital, taking it in turns to cradle Taka.

• But once Taka's OCD compulsions kick in, Leon has to take over.

• Letting him count under his breath into his chest and tapping rhythms into Leon's palm - Leon shaking his head at the confused looks their friends give them so as not to ask right now.

• Only one of Takaaki's colleagues comes to check - the one who dragged him back.

• Taka's uncle and Takaaki's only friend in the force - Shinjiro Hamasaki.

• He tries to offer words of comfort to his friend's son, but sees he's in no mindframe to listen.

• Three hours later, the doctor comes out to tell them that Takaaki's surgery is over and that he's expected to make a full recovery.

• Leon and Taka are allowed to go see him as soon as they can and sit by his bed waiting for him to wake up.

• Taka won't let go of his father's hand and so taps rhythms there instead - choking back tears the longer he doesn't wake up.

• And as soon as Takaaki's eyes flutter open, Taka bursts into tears and presses his father's palm on his cheek.

• The counting is louder now as relief floods him, rocking back and forth as he sobs into his father's palm.

• And even through the grogginess, Takaaki can still find strength to tap his fingers against the back on his son's head - the way he used to when things got too tough.
