drabble requests you say? hmm.. maybe a lewthur thing where they both died in the cave / they're both ghosts?

Weeeee so I struggled over this idea a lot for some reason- HOWEVER! I hope you like cuddling ^_^

Floating ghosts

“Can you two be any brighter?” Vivi hisses under her breath, peering over her bunches of blanket under her nose, and mystery’s ear, and toward the two ghosts floating and hugging in the middle of the room.

Quiet literally. It’s almost like they were in a hammock. Lewis’s arms around around Arthur’s back, Arthur using him as a bed and his legs dangling off, not even sleeping, but resting with his eyes half closed. He flinches the smallest bit, catching her eye, and pressing himself up.

“V-Vivi?” He says, waking Lewis up, “what are you doing awake?”

Well shit.. Vivi stretches and yawns, arching her back in a dramatic fashion before flopping onto her pillow. “Sorry~ it’s just a little hard to sleep when you have a walking Christmas tree in your living room...”

They both blink, glancing at one another. Lewis’s eyes widen, and he glances over, ”Would you like us to leave? We could stay in the guest room-“

“Nah nah,” Vivi waves him off, rolling over to face away from them, “I just... you know?”

Arthur puffs out and breath, ”Yeah, I get that...”

”Although please let us know if you need us to go.” Lewis pipes up, already closing his eyes and leaning back some more.

“You got it.”

After a few seconds Arthur laid back down, closing his eyes too.

Soft breathing and a distant crackle fills the room. Growing tense, until Vivi clears her throat.

“I’ve been meaning to ask you two something,” she peers over her shoulder, both ghosts look back at her. “Why do you guys sleep like that all the time?”

Arthur blinks, baffled, and opens his mouth to respond before Lewis shrugs.

”We can’t really help it. When we ... died. Well, Arthur landed on top of me.”

Vivi twists around, a near horrified look on her face, ”Are you serious?”

Laughing anxiously, Arthur waves his hand, illustrating the spike, “Y-yeah! It’s... kinda funny? Lewis was sandwiched between the ground and me!”

”Pf! More like covered me like a blanket.”

Vivi blinks again, starting to sit up. Before Mystery lifts his head from beside her.

”We can’t keep doing this all night. Vivi, you may ask more tomorrow, but please rest for now.”

With only mild grumbling, they complied.

This is a post that is way over due but I hope you like it

I hope I understood how to do this right but if not, I hope for those who like to read my fics, that they’d see where the music inspiration behind them comes from :D

1-Desperado by the Eagles (or the Eags as David Spade says it ahahahah)

This song was the driving force behind my fic ‘’as the snow flies’’. The lyrics just say it all and the way I characterized Louis in this fic, I would say I wanted him to embody the word

2-Rain by Patty Grifiin

This song was the background music I played mentally in my mind almost throughout the entire fic of ‘’You are Golden) It’s an old fic but I still do remember how much this song pushed it to completion and how much it structured it and made it into the fic it is today. It’s just a really good song, you guys.

3-Bend the rules by Niall Horan

This song played a key note in the fic ‘’Hang there like fruit my soul/till the tree dies’’. These lyrics just say it all,

4-Heart’s on fire by passenger

This song is tender on my heart. To me, it’s the song that brought light in my fic, ‘’bed of nails’’. It’s a sweet song and the version of Michael singing this with Ed Sheeran just inspired the chapter that featured it. 

5-In the ghetto by Elvis Presley

This song inspired the titled and the theme behind my fic ‘’as the snow flies’’. If you know the song, it basically gives an idea as to what this fic is about. 

6-Crawling by Linkin Park

Talk about the dark moments of ‘’bed of nails’’, Linkin Park was and still is one of my favourite bands ever. Their songs truly touch the heart and captivate and this one touched and captivated mine

Muldoon knows who they are, of course; he skimmed the dossier Arnold handed around as soon as Hammond sent word that Grant and Sattler had agreed.  He's long been accustomed to trophy hunters, wealthy men who cared only how impressive their kills will look posed in photographs or stuffed and displayed in some dreary mansion, and has gotten used to the scientists who view the animals here as specimens to create and contain.  He didn't expect to be so glad that someone is finally taking an interest in them the way he does, learning their behavior, knowing them as individual creatures.  The others all look green around the gills as the velociraptors feed, but Grant -- there's interest shining in his eyes, or maybe more than that:

Rapture.

He interrogates Muldoon about the raptors' development, their intelligence, and seems to get more breathless with every nasty detail.  It's been a long time since anyone hung on Muldoon's words like this, and he finds himself preening under the attention, trying to impress the sandy-haired American.

"And is there a way to see them more closely?" Grant asks, as Hammond is trying to herd the visitors off to lunch.

"I can show you the keepers' observation area," Muldoon offers, "but they may not cooperate."

"Oh, I think it's worth a try," Grant says.  He turns to Sattler.  "Ellie?"

She grimaces.  "You go on," she says.

Hammond protests, clearly reluctant to leave an expert he's trying to charm alone with the staff's resident naysayer, but Grant declares that he'll catch them up at lunch, and that's that.
