For the wip ask game, I kinda have a feeling this is abt faramir, so middle-earth history exam and may i learn more about [indistant screaming noises] elrond and elros and earendil and faramir, pretty please?

HAHA YOU KNOW IT!! yeah i literally just listed all the silly names that i gave each of the major scenes in the faramir goes to rivendell au in the outline document. elrond elros earendil and faramir is here but ok YES so the middle-earth history exam that i assigned myself and promptly proceeded to fail. (@bossuets also asked about this one!!)

this name really doesn't apply anymore because ive figured it all out but its a relic from when i felt so so so evil about the part where faramir arrives in rivendell. because i think a lot about how faramir like has this reverence towards elves and yet kind of doesn't know that much about them - except presumably he's begged stories off of gandalf before so hes got to know Something right? just like...[historian going anywhere] "blorbo from my career was here" is the emotion that i feel like im trying to capture in his head. and while i was working on the scene i got way too in my head and got stressed out about Not Knowing Things. rereading it now to pick a paragraph though i must say its pretty good :3

i just. rivendell as a place that feels like a hug is so precious 2 me. and we're coming directly off faramir having The Worst Journey Of All Time so he is just sinking into it all like its a feather mattress. and he deserves it!!!

there's also a part in there a couple scenes down where he sees the feanorian star in the iconography and is like. HEY. ?????. its so self indulgent but there was a fun numenor parallel in there that im proud of. heres two sentences for your enjoyment.

 You had a happy childhood, you used to have an older sister but unfortunately she lost her life in an accident that happened many years before you were born. It was very unfortunate but your parents moved on with their life, years later you were born

One day a mysterious person comes to the village, he says that he´s a sorcerer and that those “monsters” that you and suguru can see are curses. This person decides to talk to your parents and suguru's parents to explain the situation and tell them that the best thing for both of you would be to attend Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Your parents don't know what to do, they're afraid that something bad will happen to you, they don't want to lose another child but Suguru promises them that he will take care of you. Your parents still feel anxious but decide to trust him, after all suguru has always been taking care of you, he´s a responsible and trustworthy boy.

Time passes and the day to leave that village in the middle of nowhere arrives, you´re packing your things but can't find the camera that Suguru gave you for Christmas, you remember that you left it in the place where you and suguru go to stargazing.

 you go to the place and when you arrive you realize that there´s a girl there holding your camera, her face is familiar and with a warm smile she greets you and returns your camera. You thank her and leave, “she was a very pretty girl” you think, “I wonder what happened to her, those stitches on her forehead looked painful” and with that last thought you and suguru leave the village and head to Tokyo.

You´re part of the Zenin clan, you have been blessed with the Ten Shadows Technique and Toji is your big brother. Toji knows that like him, you´re also a victim of your family's excessive expectations so he does everything possible to give you a normal childhood.

And that includes taking you to Shibuya where you can go to cute cafes to eat desserts and where you end up meeting a boy your age with white hair and blue eyes who seems to like desserts as much as you do and with whom you can talk about your new hyperfixation of the moment, digimon.

Things are going well between you and your new friend, until Toji tells you that you shouldn't talk to that kid again, that “kid” is Satoru Gojo the heir of the gojo clan who was blessed with the rikugan. You know better than anyone how complicated the relation between the Gojo clan and Zenin clan is, so with great sadness you decide not to talk to Satoru again.

Satoru understands that you and your brother are in a complicated situation and he doesn´t want to complicate your life further. So he decided to respect your decision not to see each other again. You gave Satoru a keychain of his favorite digimon and a kiss, you promised him that when you two entered Jujutsu High you would look for him.

Three years passed and eventually Toji left the Zenin clan and to the surprise of everyone in the clan, you decided to leave with him. You and Satoru met again a couple years later in Jujutsu High.

You´re a normal person with a normal family or so it seems. It turns out that you´re a descendant of Michizane Sugawara, Your ritual technique manifested out of nowhere when you were 14 and is so destructive and dangerous that the higher-ups decide to sentence you to death. Yaga feels bad for you, you're just a kid and you don't understand anything of what's going on, so he asks the higher-ups to allow you to attend Jujutsu High. The higher-ups agrees on the condition that Yaga becomes your teacher and keeps an eye on you.

You don't know what to think, you had lived a normal life but when your cursed technique manifested , memories that were not there before came to the surface. None of what happens seems real to you, you miss your parents, your real parents.

The only thing that is clear to you is that you´re now a jjk character. The year 2005 has just begun and you have very little time to think of a plan because otherwise many people will die and many bad things will happen.

- You have your memories and a very strong cursed technique, but very few people trust you

- Having your memories back is a blessing and a curse at the same time, the stress of knowing that many people will die unless you do something it´s awful

hello! i have a question abt your toxic megumi fic :) ! it may be a stupid question if so i apologize and you don’t have to answer this but it’s been on mind since i’ve read it, so megumi doesn’t love the reader if not how does he feel towards her? sorry once again if it’s a stupid question 😭!

He actually is very much in love with the reader but it’s such a toxic and controlling love it can definitely be misconstrued as other feelings. Megumi is very very very insecure in that particular story I wrote because he knows the reader is very beautiful and popular and worries she’ll leave him eventually. But he’s also very smart and because of his manipulative nature he knows how to get her exactly where he wants. He wants her to need him and be addicted to him and she unfortunately plays right into his hand every time. They both cheat on each other bc they are both super toxic but in the end he knows he can get away with murder when it comes to the reader because she’ll never be able to give up on him and how much she loves him. It would take a huge influence to make her leave him, it’s more or less impossible. He cheats bc he knows she’ll be angry but ultimately it scares her more than anything that she’ll lose him. She’ll cheat as an act of revenge but she and Megumi both know she’ll never find a good enough replacement for him no matter what.

So yeah in short, he does love her and he’s just a horrendous prick about it.

And if the end of the fic is the part that confused you, he didn’t say it back because he rarely does! He’ll say it at random times that give her hope that they have a good relationship but it’s, again, just to keep her under control. She worries when he doesn’t say it back to her and makes her want to make him love her back. So it’s just a never ending cycle really 😭

my beloved local coffeeshop down the street from my apartment! i am there as i write this. my regular barista often makes fun of me bc he sees me running for the train in the morning bc i am perpetually late for work. unfortunately the earliest i can make it out of the house in the evening is 7 and they close at 9 but it’s a good two hours. then it’s off to my friends’ apartment (they’re my downstairs neighbours i basically also live there) for like another two hours. yeah i do this every day. i am aware i am insane but it is the only way i get anything done.

TO THE VERY DEAR MEMORY OF [ ] is a personal fave for sure bc it's. idk nontraditional? well it's based off of this image and it took me a long time of testing different things before i figured out a way to appropriately represent that erasure of the name on the headstone by the water...the sensation that there Used to be something there, that there was Supposed to be something there, but all that is left is the water. and i'm very pleased by the effect of the brackets and how it looks on the ao3 page. it just brings me a lot of joy to let myself kind of fuck around and do whatever i think is cool. im trying so so so hard to internalize "get weird with it!" and its the baby steps out here.

Usually I do!! I don’t mind it, but here it can be pretty humid at times so I end up not liking it as much if it’s also really hot and humid after it rains 😭
