D: Is there a song or a playlist to associate with [insert fic]?

goal of the century. naturally. maybe the only song i listened to for the month that it took me to write rabbits are chasing (for reasons mostly unrelated to the fic). i also had beware the dog on repeat while writing the press conference scene for like. general toxic nostalgia vibes lmao. but otherwise no playlist! i usually only make one if i'm struggling to figure out what a fic is about and am trying to reverse-engineer it through finding songs that have the same vibe, but i knew exactly what i wanted this fic to be from the start, so i never got around to making a proper playlist for it.

E: If you wrote a sequel to [insert fic], what would it be about?

i will preface this by saying that i have only ever written one successful sequel in my life so: don't get your hopes up. THAT BEING SAID. there is a google doc that lives on my computer titled LEMON that is of course about lewis and seb, 1 year post-le mans/??? months into an established relationship, getting the post-retirement zoomies and deciding to enter the 24 hours of lemons as a team (tl;dr that one race where you have to build a fucked-up car for less than $500 and then race it for 24 hours or as long as it lasts). featuring cars built by two people who have no business building cars, re-learning how to find very silly joy in something that for most of your life has been what you've built your identity around, building a life with someone now that there are no outside forces dictating/providing structure for your relationship to one another, and seb getting sexy little grease smudges on his face from tinkering with the car while trying to fix the engine so it can run on carbon-neutral fuel.
