Rules

Submissions are closed.

Polls will run for a week and I will give you at least a days notice.

I will not answer asks while a poll is up unless it's propaganda or a question about the polls.

I will not answer asks about discourse. I might think about what you said but I don't want discourse on this blog.

I will also not respond to rude or mean asks.

Please send asks that are propaganda. Also, please send asks with your fan art or your favourite screenshots that you wouldn't mind me using for polls.

Please send in a description of your favourite throuples if you want to; these will be used in the polls.

Please do not be rude about other people's interests or the other throuples in the tournament. You can talk about your preferred throuple without talking badly about the other/s.

Please don't jokingly threaten others or joke about suicide. I've noticed that some polls I follow have had this issue and I don't want this to happen on my blog.

I don't know when I'm going to have the first polls ready as I'm going to be getting busier from this week onwards but I'll let you guys know.

okay so I don't know if this is in the realm of what you're in the mood of talking about BUT seeing that Loki was responsible for exploding thanatos (lol) I'm curious how well they knew each other ?? *if* they knew each other ??

ohHhhHh MARS LIKE I SAID I AM SO… SO GLAD YOU ASKED THIS

this is going to be very, very, very long but before I jump behind a cut and answer your actual question, allow me to share & recap some crucial background information to paint the scene first for where we were - this was many years ago . Hmmm even this preamble is stupid long. I’m so sorry.

(OoC, around the year 2013 BUT our in-canon 5 year jump ahead took place in the middle of this duration so the actual in-canon year no longer matches up or— whatever)

the important refresher facts (and new info?) are, of course Loki falls into Elysium, the gang rehabs him, Loki comes around, sleeps around with the palace, ends up knocked up by Laphi with Fjöer; despite Loki briefly disappearing in panic he does eventually return (with… with an egg lmao) and this is NOT a crisis because Loki is learning to trust his new friends; Fjöer’s born —

Fjöer gets kidnapped to the mortal world. Loki relapses straight back into supervillainy and goes absolutely ballistic, torturing and almost murdering A Certain Key Player of A Certain Superhero Team while convinced he had something to do with it. He did not. Tory gets Fjöer back. To keep the peace in the mortal world, he promises that Loki will never, EVER leave the underworld again. To make this happen, Tory tricks Loki into eating the food of the dead, thus damning him to the Underworld in accordance with ancient magic laws. Loki (though feeling incredibly guilty) is horrified and enraged at this betrayal.

Loki proceeds to hack into the entire magical grid of the Underworld and recenters its magical essence TO HIM, now holding all the power of the whole realm in his very being and becoming the vessel for all those ancient magic binding rules so… now he can resume going wherever he pleases. This is SO dramatic that Tory fuckin rolls his eyes and gives the fuck up okay FINE LOKI YOU WIN just please don’t try to kill anyone again. ok deal:)

then our in-universe five year jump ahead takes place… now, approximately six and a half years after Loki first fell to Elysium —Loki’s just given birth to baby Rane; Tory is now heavily pregnant with his and Loki’s oopsie twins Eisa and Einmyria, it’s a high risk pregnancy made none the easier of the drama of that whole situation (long separate story). here we are. got it? good.

Now, your actual answer.

When Loki had first entered Elysium and was ~*bonding*~ with everyone, and unpicking the pieces of the trauma he’d gone through, slowly one by one the residents of the palace began to open up in very limited bits and pieces to Loki about their own tragic backstories. Curiously enough, EVERYONE’S tragic backstories centered mostly around this ONE individual, a mysterious evil god Thanatos who, Loki was informed, was currently imprisoned in Tartarus for the crime of kidnapping baby Neo, just before Loki had arrived.

Though everyone was kinda hesitant to share all the gory intimate details with this uhh, hostile stranger, as time went on and Loki opened up himself and everyone became friends Loki gathered more and more bits and pieces of info and found himself learning quite a bit about Thanatos. More than anything, Loki was taken aback by how much of an influence he’d had on so MANY lives, how much terror and fear he’d inflicted upon all these lovely people Loki had just met and kindave liked . Loki also was very alarmed by the thought of having such an alleged huge threat living in a jail cell like. Just next door. hello?!!! And… finally….. he also… didn’t really believe it was possible that one singular god could be so dangerous? Like, they’d successfully arrested him, soooo. What was even the big deal.

Cocky as ever, needing to have the upper hand, perhaps taking sick pleasure in the fact that everyone would be really, really mad if they found out what Loki was doing, BUT just mostly, curious like a feral horrible little cat - Loki snuck into Tartarus. He introduced himself to Thanatos, who seemed to be slightly delirious under the influence of Epi’s poison nightmares. Assessing the big scary legend of Thanatos before his eyes as not much of a threat at all, Loki decided to become fascinated with the thought of picking through his head…. And he figured it was best and harmless to do this under the guise of socializing. Loki FUCKING MADE FRIENDS WITH HIM.

He proceeded to secretly visit him in Tartarus about once a week for FIVE ENTIRE YEARS OF THAT JUMP.

What was the harm anyway? Though annoyed that Loki kept bothering him, Thanatos clearly had been put thoroughly out of commission and he didn’t really seem to have a real grasp on where he was or that Loki was not some sort of hallucination. Still, to be safe, eventually when Loki got pregnant with Rane, he temporarily stopped his visits, resuming them but briefly after she was born, before pausing again to deal with Tory’s pregnancy. In the meantime, through those gaps…

Loki’s cocky underestimating of Thanatos was in fact a fatal mistake, because the entire time they’d been together Thanatos had faked his delirium. Only ever saying just enough to keep Loki from detecting his whole ruse was a lie, while Loki was having fucking picnics Thanatos was studying the HELL out of him.

All that Underworld magic tangled up within him was accessible to Thanatos due to his own standing realm as God of Death, enmeshed into the Underworld himself - and without Loki detecting a thing, Thanatos spent five years discreetly SIPHONING out the powers to control the realm that Loki had amassed. Slowly but surely. Little bits, so that Loki wouldn’t notice.

During the double maternity leave, Thanatos from his jail cell managed to get ahold of Chal, who (VERY PRE EVERYTHING THIS WAS LIKE THREE YEARS BEFORE HER WHOLE THING) was loose in Tartarus trying to escape Ker again. Thanatos had now collected enough of the Underworld’s magic to track down the information about how to get the keys or whatever that locked him in. He sent Chal off to find that key and break him out. Eventually - Chal ✨did this.✨ Thanatos was now LOOSE, and they escaped together off the grid.

The palace discovered Thanatos was loose because, (secretly at this point), he now had a whole litany of magic abilities and he just started APPEARING in television screens and mirrors of the palace that November to give villainous speeches - clearly out of prison, clearly of his usual “sound mind”, and clearly making HUGE THREATS. The palace went into FULL LOCKDOWN panic and Epi and Loki - Tory was way too pregnant! - split up to go find him.

Loki found him (and Chal - what the fuck this was Thanatos’s kid??! This wobbly teenager?! Loki made a mental note to do something about that much later👀) immediately. In this confrontation, Thanatos played delirious again and Loki STILL WILDLY UNDERESTIMATING HIM, but slightly shaken at how panicked his friends at the palace were, made Thanatos promise to leave the palace alone in exchange for Loki not ratting him out and turning him in. Batting his eyelashes, Thanatos agreed. His own secret shield of magic he’d built successfully blocked out Loki’s built in lie detector - and, crucially, unwise to the tips and tricks of the Underworld, Loki did NOT make him swear an unbreakable oath. He,, took him at face value?!?! And flounced back to the palace to announce that he couldn’t find him but he probably would not cause any trouble.

And then Thanatos began to project himself into the palace.

You know Loki’s little clones? Haha since fucking when did Thanatos know how to do that?! Though these clones were not solid and he couldn’t lay a finger on anyone, he began to terrorize verbally everyone hiding within the palace, all the people he’d hurt - Maci. Eury. Hypnos. Hess. Bullied away again and again by Epi and Loki - keeping Tory far away, who again ahhhhh high risk pregnancy! - but coming back more and more, just over the span of mere hours, days, the palace began to break down into psychological torment - and the more time these Thanatos clones spent around Loki - the more he began to draw from him and. Oh god. Oh no. FEELING THE CHANGE, Loki realized what was happening. He realized what he’d done and enabled. In a rare moment of respite, He confessed. EVERYONE WAS FUCKING FURIOUS, just at his show of cocky hubris especially now that Loki, in increasing panic, was admitting that he’d grossly underestimated the danger of Thanatos and - LOKI, OH MY GODS, YOU DID THIS, FIX IT BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. Thanatos was growing too powerful and Loki could no longer locate him oh my god oh my god oh nNOOO—

Unsure if Thanatos was copying his magic or fully DRAINING it away and, in horror suspecting the latter, Loki quickly began to formulate a plan with Epi. The Underworld magic he held within himself was meant to protect him and if he could somehow trigger that Defense mode into action, then surely that would be powerful enough to knock Thanatos out enough to— idk, figure it out from there? But how to trigger that? He and Epi began testing by fuckin attacking the shit out of Loki (after all this, Epi was more than happy to do this 😌) and letting that power indeed force field him back in retaliation so now it was just a matter of honing that to be stronger.

Before he could perfect it, Thanatos figured out how to make a partially solid clone, and straight from the balcony of the palace, kidnapped - um. a certain nymph of great importance to Loki (staring directly at the camera bc…. you know,, but this, is in progress due to Circumstances and may change, not important who this is rn!) OKAY WELL NO MORE TIME TO WASTE GO GET THIS FUCKING BASTARD NOW — Epi used dreams to find where [redacted] was being kept and they went on the attack.

But this was a trap - luring Loki there was all according to plan, because what Loki didn’t account for in his tests was how his defense magic would react to going up against ANOTHER budding vessel of the Underworld. And when Thanatos - who HAD figured this out - attacked him, that power rushed back — and Thanatos caught it.

AND TOOK IT.

draining Loki of almost everything within him and ✨also stabbing him✨ Thanatos now fucking controlled all the magic of the Underworld AND THAT INCLUDED THE ELYSIUM BARRIER. He collapsed the barrier that kept him physically out of the palace and went straight there, Epi tearing after him, Loki weakened and dying and collapsed in a heap. He broke into the palace - trapped Epi into a little bubble barrier of magic that he couldn’t get out of - and in a scene of utter chaos proceeded to get to attack Maci, Hess - Icy in the playroom before Meli managed to shield the rest of the kids away - Eury, in front of Epi - Tory, pregnant and hidden away was next once he found him and —

Loki reappeared.

The Underworld’s magic had bound himself to HIM. It was intwined within his bones, his genes. He’d done the work, laid the spells, it was loyal to HIM and not the leech who’d torn it from him.

Thanatos uncontrollable and unstoppable, his full unhinged reign of carnage, in his absolute peak hysterical villainy - it had been so long, so many attempts, he was completely insane unraveled by this point - screaming and GLOATING and grinning and advancing - stopped suddenly in his tracks as Loki staggered in the hallway and reached out to him. Bleeding out, Loki understood very very well now the threat that Thanatos really was and always had been.

The Underworld’s magic felt Loki reach for it with a snarl. And it stretched out to return to the vessel it properly belonged in…… all at once.

Thanatos exploded.

The Gods and Goddess of Greek Mythology

The Gods came into being through Kronos and Rhea and then were completed through the many children that Zeus had.

Zeus

Zeus is the youngest of his brothers and sisters.

The supreme ruler of the Greek Gods. Zeus is the God of the sky after him and his brothers drew lots to share the universe. Other names for Zeus included Rain-god and the Cloud-gatherer. He is the wielded of the thunderbolt he used to take down his father Kronos. Zeus believes that his is the most powerful and therefore nobody can best him. But many times he is duped by the other gods like Poseidon, his brother and Hera, his wife.

Zeus is also known for his many many infidelities that result in numerous children that he tries to hide from his wife Hera. Supposedly this believe of his conquest of women came from the fact that as the religion of the Gods spread throughout Greece Zeus was merged with whichever ruling God was in that area and therefore the wife was then given to Zeus. But the later Greeks did not care for these love affairs of Zeus.

Zeus was known to the Greeks through the aegis on his breastplate. The Eagle was his scared animal and many prayed and sacrificed to him for help and guidance. Zeus's oracle was Dodona, home to his scared Oak tree. The word of Zeus was heard in the rustling of the Oak tree by the priests that reside at Dodona.

Poseidon

Poseidon is the second eldest son of Kronos.

He is the ruler of the sea as decide by the lot he choose when him and his brothers split the universe between themselves. Poseidon is considered the second most powerful God with only Zeus as his superior. The Greek civilization honored Poseidon with many prays and sacrifices due them being a seafaring culture. The sea was hugely important to the Greeks and therefore Poseidon was an honored God.

Poseidon was always depicted with his weapon, the trident. He was also commonly known as the Earth-shaker; created with the creation of Earthquakes. He is also known as the Father of Horses that he gifted to mankind. He was also associated with bulls, but so many other Gods are too.

Poseidon was married to Amphitrite, a granddaughter of the Titan of the Ocean. Poseidon created for him and his wife a magnificent palace under the sea, but Poseidon was found most often on Olympus; the home of the Gods.

Hades

Hades was the oldest brother of Poseidon and Zeus.

He is the ruler of the Underworld after splitting the universe up between himself and his brothers. He ruled over the dead in his realm of the dark from which he rarely ever left. He never really went to Olympus, never urged to go and was not wanted. He was an unpitying, inexorable, but he was not an evil god.

He was always depicted with he Helm that when wore would make the person invisible.

He was married to Persephone, the Goddess of Spring and daughter of the Goddess Demeter. He kidnapped Persephone and carried her to the Underworld were she became Queen.

He was God of the Dead, not death. The God of death was Thanatos.

Hera

Hera is the wife and sister of Zeus.

She is the protector of Marriage and woman (not a protector to the women that Zeus defiled). On Olympus she was revere and honored the same as Zeus.

She is known throughout much of mythology as the punisher of the many women that her husband Zeus slept with, even though the women were tricked and deceived into sleeping with Zeus. Her anger of punishing these women even continued on to their children over the fact that Hera never forgot.

She was venerated in every home of Greece and many woman pray to her for help in their marriage. Hera's daughter Ilithyia or Eileithyia helped women during childbirth.

The course of the Trojan War could have ended in peace with neither nation conquering the other if Hera's beauty hadn't been slighted by Paris, a Trojan Prince. Her anger only ended with the fall of Troy.

In only one story Hera was the protector of Heroes. In the quest of the Golden Fleece she protected the heroes and inspired heroic deeds. This was the only story though where she protected heroes.

For Hera the cow and peacock were her scared animals and she was a patron to the Greek city of Argos, her favorite city.

Athena

Athena was the daughter of Zeus after she sprang from his head, full grown and wearing armor. She was also the favorite of Zeus over all his children.

She is known to be a ruthless and fierce battle goddess in the Iliad, but everywhere else is depicted as war-like in defending the state and home from enemies. She is seen as the goddess of the City, protector of civilized life, crafts. She invented the bridle that helped men tame horses. Later she is the embodiment of wisdom, reason, and purity.

She was favored by Zeus and he trusted her to carry the aegis shield, which displayed the head of Medusa, and she even carried her father's thunderbolt.

Another name for Athena was Pallas Athena and she was commonly called gray-eyed, having cold gray eyes. She is one of the three virgin goddesses, called the Maiden.

She became the patron goddess of the city Athens, which was named for her. She had argument with Poseidon on who would be the patron of the city. She gives the city the Olive tree, which became her scared tree. The Owl became her symbol and scared animal.

Apollo

Phoebus Apollo was the son of Leto and Zeus and the twin brother of the Goddess Artemis.

He was born on the island of Delos. He is known as "the most Greek of all the Gods." In Greek poetry he is always depicted as a beautiful figure, mayhaps because he is the god of poetry. He is a master musician that delights the Gods on Olympus by playing his golden lyre. He is also an archer-god with his silver bow; known as the far-shooter.

He also was a healing god and taught man that art of healing. He is also the God of light and therefore the God of Truth, since he had no darkness in himself.

Delphi at the bottom of Mount Parnassus sat the Oracle of Apollo. Where heroes and other figures of mythology would go to seek help from the God of Truth. Castalia was his scared spring. Cephissus is scared river. It was believed to be the center of the world and became a pilgrimage site for those in and outside of Greece. The truth was spoke through a priestess who would go into a trance while she spoke. The trance was caused by the vapor rising from a deep cleft in the rock over which the priestess sat her legged stool, the tripod.

The Oracle of Delphi allowed for a direct link between Gods and Man. It worked as a way for men to be guided, learn divine will, and showing men how to make peace with the gods. It also allowed men to be purified to cleanse themselves even for those who have killed their kin.

Other names of Apollo include Delian because of his birth on Delos and Pythian for his slaying of the mighty python (Serpent, a large snake). The python lived in a cave in Mount Parnassus and was a very severe contest for Apollo.

The name Phoebus means brilliant or shining over the fact he was known as a Sun-god, although the Sun-god was Helios the child of the Titan Hyperion.

Some tales depicted Apollo as being cruel and pitiless, but there is very little of that left in him. He is more the beautiful and poetic God.

His sacred tree was the laurel tree. He had many scared animals the chief ones being the dolphin and crow.

Artemis

Artemis is the daughter of Leto and Zeus, the twin sister of Apollo.

She is one of the three maiden or virgin goddesses.

She is known as the Huntress, due to her love of the woods and wild.

Artemis was also a protector of the youth; Maidens.

In the myth of the Trojan War, Artemis held the Greek fleet from sailing because one of her prized animals was killed. She asked for the sacrifice of a maiden. At the last minute she whisked the girl away and replaced her with an animal.

If a woman died a painless death, they were said to have been shot by one of Artemis's silver arrows.

In early Greek Mythology she was a moon goddess, taking the place of the Titan Selene, sister of Helios.

In later years she was known as the goddess of three forms. Those forms being Selene; the sky, Artemis; the earth, Hecate; the lower world, darkness, crossroads, evil magic, awful divinity.

Artemis was the example of uncertainty between good and evil.

Her sacred items are the Cypress tree, wild animals, most commonly the Deer.

Aphordite

The goddess of Love and Beauty.

The laughter-loving goddess; mocking or sweetly.

The birth of Aphrodite is different depending on the source.

In the Iliad by Homer, she is the daughter of Zeus and Dione.

Homer paints her as being a weak, meek, soft goddess

In another version she sprung from ocean sea foam. Aphors is the Greek word for foam.

She also goes by other names, Cytherea, Cyprian; due to Cythera and Cyprus being sacred to her where she washed up after her birth; mentioned in the Homeric Hymns.

Later she is depicted as treacherous and malicious to men.

She is the wife of the god Hephaestus, but has love affairs with the god Ares.

Her sacred items are the Myrtle and birds, mainly the Dove, but also the Sparrow and Swan.

Hermes

The son of Zeus and Maia, the daughter of the Titan Atlas.

Hermes is depicted as the most human looking god.

He is graceful and swift. His easy to identify due to his winged sandals, low crowned hat and is staff known as the Caduceus.

If a god has wings then it is Hermes.

He is the messenger of the Gods, due to his swiftness.

Hermes is the shrewdest, cunning god. He is also a Master Thief.

When Hermes was just a day old her stole the cattle of Apollo. To appease Apollo Hermes invented the Lyre out of a tortoise shell and gave it to Apollo.

Hermes is the god of thieves, commerce, market, protector of traders, and the guide of the dead; the Divine Herald. He is the only god other than Hades who can travel to and from the Underworld. He leads the souls to the Underworld.

Hermes appears the most in myths.

Ares

The God of War.

Ares is the son of Zeus and Hera, who both detested him.

He is hated throughout the Iliad, often only rejoiced during times of winning or for escaping his ruthless nature. Homer describes him as ruthless and murderous, a bloodstained incarnate curse of mortals.

Homer also describes him as a coward; bellows in pain and runs away when wounded.

But, he has many attendants on the battlefield to inspire anyone for battle.

Eris, the sister of Ares and the goddess discord and her son Strife.

Enyo, Goddess of War walks beside him.

Followed by Terror, Trembling and Panic, whose groaning causes the earth to stream with blood as the move throughout the battle.

He is the lover of Aphordite.

He is very lustful for women, but is also a protector to mistreated women. Women often pray to him when they are treated badly.

His thirst for bloodshed and war made many dislike him.

He is a symbol of War and has little to do with myths.

He was mainly worshiped in Sparta

He is believed to have come from Thrace; the home to a rude and fierce people in Northeast Greece.

His sacred animal is the Vulture and Dog.

Hephaestus

The God of Fire.

The son of Zeus and Hera. (Sometimes just Hera in her retaliation of Athena's birth).

His appearance is stated as ugly and he was lame. The deformity comes from the fact he was thrown from Mount Olympus by Hera because he was ugly. Others say it was Zeus because Hephaestus defended Hera.

He is highly honored by the gods due to his abilities as a blacksmith. He created their weapons, armor, and furnishings.

He also created helpers out of gold to run his workshops.

His forges were located under volcanoes.

Hephaestus is the husband of Aphordite.

He is a kind and peace-loving god that is popular to mortals and city life.

He is the patron of the Arts, handicrafts. and a Protector of the Smiths.

Hestia

A sister of Zeus.

She is a maiden or virgin goddess.

Has no part in the myths.

She is the goddess of the Hearth, symbol of Home.

Every meal began and ended with an offering to her.

Each city had a sacred Hearth to her. The fire was never allowed to go out.

When a colony of a city was founded coals were taken from the hearth of the mother-city and brought to the kindle the fire of the new city.

Demeter

A Daughter of Cronus and Rhea.

Goddess of Agriculture and the Harvest, Sacred law and the cycle of life and death.

Is the mother of Persephone, the goddess of Spring.

Demeter and her grieve and depression of her daughter having to go to live in the Underworld once a year is the reason we have winter. In her anger she kills mortal crops until her daughter reunites with her.

She gave man the knowledge of growing and using corn,

A fertility festival, Thesmophoria was held every year to honor Demeter. Only women attended.

Dionysus

The God of Wine, wine making, fertility, dance, and pleasure. Was known as the bringer of civilization because of his wine making.

Is the son of Zeus and Semele.

Carried an ivy covered wand, Thyrsus.

He had the ability to drive mortals insane.

He is depicted as a young man with long hair.

He married a mortal Ariadne.

Had cults dedicated to him often characterized by madness.

He is usually depicted with exotic creatures like leopards and panthers.

Had many followers like satyrs, and frenzied female worshipers called Maenads.

Athens held a festival every year for Dionysus, where poets came to perform Greek tragedies and comedies some of the most well-known pieces of ancient literature were performed here.

Tyrant Theory Part 2: Al Lester, the Axeman, and "Green T"

Continuing my survey of pre-Tyrant Tyrant-like mutants, Dr. Albert Wes....Lester, From Resident Evil Outbreak File 2.

Lester was the head doctor at a shady hospital on the outskirts of Raccoon City. He performed illegal human trials of various medicines provided to him by an Umbrella shell with the very legitimate name of "Drugs Inc," including a supposed anti-cancer drug called T-JCCC203 that was actually a t-Virus derivative.

T-JCCC203, or "Green T" as I've nicknamed it, showed a far greater affinity for plant life than most other T strains, so it was likely derived from t-infected flora like Plant 42 and Ivy. Zombies infected by Green T were symbiotic with mutant plant life, which defended them with poisonous spores. Even before transformation into zombies, individuals infected by Green T show green skin rather than the more typical jaundiced or grey, as if their bodies were producing chlorophyll.

When Al Lester's wife Dorothy developed coronary cancer, he was desperate enough to allow her to take part in Drugs, Inc's clinical trials despite the low survival rate. At first, the drug seemed to work and her cancer went into complete remission, but 24 hours later she started transforming into a zombie, eventually causing an outbreak that caused the hospital to be shut down and abandoned in 1993.

Al was broken by this, and would make frequent trips to the hospital where his wife's body still remained. However, at some point a giant mutant plant started growing from her corpse, eventually overtaking the entire hospital. Al, extremely rational and normal, decided that this plant was Dorothy's reincarnation and started hunting animals to feed it. Eventually, this escalated to hunting humans, under the guise of an alternate identity dubbed the Axeman. It's unknown if this increase in aggression was caused by the virus, a psychotic break, or a mixture of both.

During this time in close proximity to the plant, which did not attack him for some reason, he became infected and developed greatly enhanced strength and regeneration, with his only obvious deformity being the green discoloration on his side. The source of this is unknown, as it does not seem to correspond to any major organ. My best explanation is that it's the scar left from where a hiker shot him point blank with a shotgun. It would make sense that the repaired flesh showed greater signs of infection.

One unusual trait was his seeming ability to change size, albeit on a very small scale. In his normal state, Al was not a particularly tall man. However, when he adopted the Axeman persona, he became notably taller, at least a head taller than any other survivor. I would be willing to write this off as a gameplay consideration were it not for his connection to Dr. Greg Mueller, whose Thanatos tyrant was able to similarly grow in stature.

It's tempting to write Dr. Al "Axeman" Lester off as a human adapter and not a tyrant, but as I'll demonstrate through this series, the line between zombie, adapter, and tyrant is extremely blurry. His ability to change size also links him to another Tyrant. It might be more accurate to call him something like a demi-tyrant, since he has the trifecta of enhanced strength, increased size, and discolored skin, but only in a limited and situational capacity.

Next I'll continue this sub-series of pre-Tyrant Tyrants with a man who was basically a Tyrant before any virus entered his system.

You know it's very strange to see the idea proposed that Exandroth would have actually wanted to entirely take over Peter's body, like people believed that Exandroth would have done that, when earlier in the campaign I feel that's completely antithetical to how Exandroth thinks of itself and how it thinks of Peter.

Early campaign Exandroth views its own body, its celestial body, as holy, and he views Peter as a pathetic vessel, a tool. Exandroth at that point had incredibly little reason to have gone against it word, because what would there be to gain from that? Peter is worthless, "just a wand". Maybe this point ties back in to people thinking Exandroth is just EVIL evil and will do anything without rhyme or reason behind it. People think Exandroth would put Peter through endless amounts of torture and torment, which Exandroth DOES do he DOES torment him, let's be clear about that, but Exandroth doesn't care about Peter THAT much. Exandroth remains dormant for like the majority of time outside of battle, and only really comes out when mentioned. Exandroth is not very engaged with Peter as a permanent residence, Exandroth isn't even attached to anything outside of its own goals.

It is incredibly funny to find that the opposite is true of Exandroth, that it's when Exandroth starts to become more amiable and passive that Exandroth, in my opinion, would have reason to permanently try to take over Peter. Early Exandroth had nothing to gain, later Exandroth had everything to lose. From the fight with Exandroth, we can see that Exandroth's eldritch form it used to flaunt is hidden behind its form of Peter. There's an attachment, a tangible part of Exandroth's identity that is invested in Peter's body as a vessel (or rather, Exandroth just thinks of the vessel as herself now). ALSO we have no clue if Exandroth and Peter separated whether Exandroth would keep her new emotions, which Exandroth may be attached to. ALSO Exandroth has grown so attached to Thanatos and Rumi that maybe it would fear separating from Peter would leave no reason for them to remain friends or even acquaintances.

If it were me, I'd argue that a scenario in which Exandroth tries to take over Peter is less likely to be spurred by malicious intent, and moreso Exandroth's grown attachment to the vessel and people around it. It's just... Sad? Especially a scenario where Exandroth knows Thanatos and Rumi don't care about Exandroth as much as Exandroth cares about them, so he's trying to leverage the only amount of power it has left, which just ends up pushing away Thanatos and Rumi more. Again, it's just sad and pretty pathetic, which is basically what Exandroth has always been. Like. Dude...

But like, again, I think it's just the idea of Exandroth being the most evil of evil guys who never does anything good and is always bad that creates this scenario. Which I mean, I will say, I don't think it's off the table, I probably make Exandroth much nicer than it has any right to be... But while I do think Exandroth is a shitty guy, I personally don't think Exandroth is entirely immoral, and I just think Exandroth thought itself too highly to have ever considered taking Peter's body permanently. I mean, in early Exandroth's mentality, what would be the worth of Peter's body if Exandroth were to become god? But for a Exandroth in the late campaign, if Exandroth doesn't see the value in being god anymore, then maybe Peter's body IS worth something..
