That evening when she apparated right into his bedroom with the brightest eyes and a smile so wide, Theo couldn't help but smile back at her -- but it quickly faded away as she showed him the engagement ring on her finger. It couldn’t be more obvious that she was happier than she ever had been and he wanted to give her a reaction to match it except he simply couldn't. It made no sense, the feeling of loss which weighed him down and.. was that jealousy? It absolutely made no sense. She had been dating this man, an Auror who worked with her, for ages. Granted, he had thought of what could have been for the both of them at the time he had broken up with Astoria. Thalia had been with him whenever he had needed her, helping him through his heartbreak, through losing his fiancée -- but that was months ago. He had pushed that thought away when he saw that she was happy with someone else. 

But now, Theo’s head was spinning as he stared at her. She was quick to guess that he wasn’t himself, a worried expression etched on his features when she spoke. “Theo, what’s wrong?” It took him a moment to even realize that she was speaking to him -- he merely nodded in response, unable to say a word. He should congratulate her, join in her happiness, begin to talk about the hows and the whens -- that’s what friends did right? Then why he did he want to do something completely different? Why did he want to do something which would ruin everything? He was going to lose her. He knew he would. And yet, despite his better judgement, Theo stepped towards her, cupped her face in his hands and kissed her like his life depended on it, all consequences be damned.

MX as muses

We’re probably in for greek mythology posts at this point and since I’m greek I truly wanna share with all of you this beautiful side of our heritage. I gotta thank @fandommuse1958 as well for helping me with sorting them out, check her blog fellas! Let’s jump right into it. 

The Muses were 9 in number, Zeus and Mnemosenes daughters. I swear every semi-god in mythology is Zeus child xD. Their mother was the embodiment of memory. Their leader was Apollo, the god of the sun and music. Just like him, they were artistic souls and each one of them protected a kind. 

Shownu - Terpsexore

Terpexore (Τερψιχόρη) is listed as the protector of dancing. She was cherfull, often depicted as a young girl with a headband made of bay. Her name is a combination of two parts : terpo (τερπώ) get happy and choros (χορός) dance, which only makes sense since dancing makes us happy. 

Wonho - Erato

Her name comes after the word eros (ερως) which means love. In a post I made a while ago, we discussed the types of love according to ancient greeks. Eros is the platonical kind of love, it’s shared between couples but it isn’t just lust, it’s deeper than that. Just like her name, she is protecting love poems. She is depicted with roses and sometimes the cupid’s bow that targets our hearts and make us turn to her poetry.

Kihyun - Caliope

The eldest and wisest out of them all, her role was supposed to be the most important since she was protecting classical/heroic poetry. In Homeres books, she is mentioned as a prayer, since poets asked for her help when they were writing. Homeres great talent, made people of his time to believe that he was her son!

Minhyuk - Thalia

Thalia’s name was after the verb thaleo (θαλέω) which translates to blooming. She was protecting comedy, which makes us so happy, we laugh and bloom spiritually. She was charming and carefree like Terpsexore. Thalia is often seen semi naked, holding a theatrical mask. 

Hyungwon - Melpomene

She was involved in theater but unlike Thalia, she was tragedy’s protector. She was dressed and had a dark or angry expression, holding a sad mask in her hand. Tragedy was the most common play genre and it had a theraputic nature for Greeks. 

Jooheon - Euterpe

Euterpe was music’s protector. She is often depicting holding musical intsruments and being surrounded by papers with lyrics. Her name can be described as ‘pleasing’ because that’s what’s music to our ears. 

Changkyun - Polymnia

She was protecting imiations and prayers for the Gods. She has a pure image, a holy one, often depicted dressed with white chitons. She is mature and sceptical, her hair are styled with pearls.

Byakaran is a new Nepali pop song by Lochan Rijal. This song is taken from the one of the famous album of the Lochan “Maanis”. The song was arranged by Hari Maharjan. This song express the view and feeling of the alone human.

The song is very heart touching. Here Lochan is presenting the mental state of the man who is inside the closed room and wants to clear the human feelings with the help of lyrics and music. Lochan Rijal is an ethnomusicologist, a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter. He has won several national awards for his albums and an international award for his performance. His music blends various musical genres to poetic form that create multi-layered allusions and symbolic parallels drawn from everyday life. He composes his music on Sarangi, Arbaja and guitar. When you once listen this song, I am sure you will keep tuning it.

Over a week had passed since the death of his father and Theo was still absolutely broken but the reason wasn’t the loss of the man who had made his life a living hell. It was that he had made mistakes which had led him to lose his best friend too. And her family who had been closer to him than his parents had ever been for as long as he could remember. It was all his own fault, words spoken heat of the moment, in the despair of losing the last of his family. But that had only brought him more pain than there already was. He had been struggling to cope but that morning when he woke up, his mind was clear, a decision already made in his head - that he would apologize to Tally and her family. He needed them if he wasn't to lose himself completely. He knew he would change his mind if he let himself overthink this and so without further ado, he apparated right into Tally’s house, in front of her bedroom door, knocking urgently. His eyes swept the surroundings to make sure her parents weren’t around. He knew he would have to talk to them too but right then, all he knew was that he needed Tally back first.
