Maybe I will go all in. Maybe I will extend Thalamhan to include freshwater life too
if Thalamites are mostly fae inspired and there is water underground, then what is stopping me from putting undines/asrai under that umbrella

Meet Clemyntie! A young butterfly on Thalamhan. This original character is mine, Thalamhan belongs to @cuppajj ^^
Clemyntie’s whole body except his face is dark gray, while his face is basically white. Any jewelry he wears is gold and shining. His scarf/shawl is a black with gold sparkles all around. His armour is a lighter gray than his body, but still darker than his face. His visor is a medium blue, more exactly #1F456E.
Clemyntie is a model through and through. From a younger age, he expressed interest in the modelling industry and had become one as soon as he was able.
Though, through his mostly soft smiles and quiet demeanour, Clemyntie hates socializing and interaction. It was clear in his first few interviews and modelling parts that he was a ‘Look but don’t touch’ model, and most respect that. Despite modelling being his first job, he does dabble in paints and creating jewelry for other young models like himself.

thinkim about ur fan colony,, mayhaps have a crumb of lore? even if just a lil' to keep me going thru these troublesom times, hope you u have a good day!
Thalamhan, in comparison to other cybertronian colonies, is fairly young. Danuas was among the first titans to take to space, but among the last to find a planet for themselves. This is because she traveled further than most, to the far reaches of the galaxy where no other titan had gone, and she was very picky about what planet she would settle down in. The planet she chose was known to other life forms as Feyeri-7, but it would come to be named Elthame by its future inhabitants. When she landed on it, she began to burrow deep down into its earth until she brushed its molten mantle and fell into her slumber. The first Thalamites were born soon after—it’s unknown if there were cybertronians who had settled down on the planet with her, as if there were, they’ve been lost to history.
Danuas didn’t have a cityspeaker for a long time, not as the vibrant and lush caverns she had burrowed through or created in her wake were being discovered and settled in by her first generation. Thalamites may have not been aware of her existence even, not until one of them (re)discovered the titan and fully felt their connection with her. They awakened the rest of the Thalamites to Danuas soon after, and all were immediately devoted to the one who had gifted them with their life and home. It’s still unknown how Coru became the first real cityspeaker, but he was among the oldest.
The discovery of natural ununtrium veins would come further in the future.

question out of my curiosity as I was reading through the thalamhan tag, I apologize if this has been already answered or mentioned before but how does the texture of their plating work exactly? for example, will the floraformers' plating/alt mode feel & act exactly like flowers or is it just hard/soft metal? this was a very interesting thought for me because it could be either, although it probably won't make sense even if they have evolved over time in the planet.
All Thalamites are made of metal, just with varying degrees of softness. The Menders are the softest, while normal Thalamites are relatively the same in texture as their Cybertronian counterparts. Beetleformers such as Titan’s Guard have the hardest metal, while beastformers who have fur feel like fiber optics. They haven’t evolved in terms of physical appearance, only their diet and has changed from normal to hypersweet energon.

I remember vaguely you talking about a fiddle like stringed instrument being pretty coveted in Thalamhan. who do you see usually working to make these instruments? do they use organic materials like wood?
Yep, the violin is sacred to Thalamhan because of its spiritual connection to Danuas (when she “speaks,” the sounds she makes are violinlike), and first cityspeaker as he was a violinist.
Making violins is a special job carried out in two parts: first you have the arbor farmers who cut down a special kind of tree that grows in the cave, and they refine it into carvable material. Then they deliver the wood to the fiddle carvers who usually live close by, and they’re the ones who create the instrument. It’s a renown job with a lot of business, so they’re pretty busy! Most violins come from Loc Faore as it’s the most agricultural city, but Danann violins are the highly treasured and expensive ones. Over half the colony have played the violin at some point in their life because of its cultural significance, and even some Menders are violinists ^^

heya cuppa! I just had the genius idea for a Cockroach bugformer. Indestructible buggie teehee. If they were apart of your Fan colony, what kinda job do you think they'd have?
Oooh! So cockroaches are generally multi-purpose, so to speak. Cockroach thalamites are in the military, they're surface explorers, and ununtrium blacksmiths, just to name a few. They're able to survive things most other Thalamites can't, so you'll see many of them doing dangerous jobs and/or hard labor because they're best suited for them. Interestingly, there are a good handful of cockroach thalamites who are also Starbounders. Perhaps they're better equipped to survive deep space, so they believe?

Two questions if you don't mind.
Why can't the Menders leave the nursery, and why can't the new sparks return after they leave?
Menders can't leave the nursery since they're spiritually bound to it. The Nursery is an incredibly sacred place in Thalamhan, directly connected to Danuas herself, and every mender is equally her custodian as they are the caretaker of her newsparks. You could also say that the Menders don't consider themselves Thalamites, at least in the way as belonging to the colony like everyone else. They exist for one job, and they thrive in sacred lands. There's no need in their sparks for them to leave.
Newsparks can't return to the Nursery because the Nursery is seen as a transition. Once they are part of Thalamhan, they're part of Thalamhan; they've been successfully integrated into the colony, and they're no longer capable of returning. Funny analogy but it's kind of like how you can't replay the tutorial level in some games. Thalamites just can't return to the nursery, because they're no longer newsparks. The Nursery is also in an unknown location in between Danann and Danuas, and it can't be found from the outside no matter how hard you could try.

Question about Thalamite newsparks if you’re willing to answer! Has any newsparks ever panicked when they first came out of the pod, like trying to run away because ‘Who are these weird people, where am I?!’ Just curious ‱~‱
Nope. When a newspark emerges, they have little to no sense of where they are, and who they are, but they feel the warmth of the light on their frame and they’re surrounded by warm voices and smiles. They aren’t afraid because they don’t know what to be afraid of, they haven’t processed fear yet. They simply follow along with the Menders as slowly they begin to process knowledge of the world around them. They’ll never see the Menders as weird or foreign because the Menders are the first thing they’re familiar with. Essentially, a newspark is confused, but they’re welcomed, and welcomed is the first new emotion they ever feel.

The Menders are Thalamites who turn into flora, tasked with arguably the most important job in the entire colony: overseeing the development and care of Thalamite newsparks. They are a tightly-knit community who live in the Nursery, a massive grove full of trees with pods in which Thalamites are forged in. Menders always know when newsparks are set to emerge from their pods, and thus they are always there to welcome them into the world. They are peaceful and soft spoken, and they are devout to the titan. Their community operates completely separate from greater Thalamhan; Menders never leave the Nursery, so they farm their own food and make their own fabrics, all for themselves and the newborn Thalamites in their care. They never see the outside world, but they’re content with it, always dedicated to preparing the young to find their place in it. After a Thalamite leaves the Nursery, they can never go back, and the Mender never sees them ever again. It can be hard, since they can become attached to the little ones, but they know it’s all part of their role as the caretakers of new life.

đŸŽ« bb Ostalacht/Ocorus boyo :]
He’s been around for a very, very long time, his first sighting reportedly occurring during the Era of Silver a couple million years ago. Since then, he and his cannibalistic tendencies have given him mythical status. Some don’t even believe Ostalacht, or Ocorus, or whatever terrifying name they give him is even real. A massive Thalamite who stalks the dark, lifeless tunnels, feeding on helpless wanderers it comes across? No, there’s no evidence of that. When a Thalamite goes missing, they don’t find any trace of them. Not even a limb, or sometimes even a splotch of energon! They were probably captured by Darklanders, so quit blaming it on this hypothetical centipede Thalamite who may or may not exist.
But that’s just how good O is at his hunt. Going from a known terror among older generations of Thalamites, to a cryptid among the new
it’s a sign that they’ve accustomed themselves to his presence. So he continues to prey upon the clueless, opening their eyes to his existence well after it’s already too late for them

đŸŽ« Danuas crumbs for the poor please?
They say Danuas's conscience affects the entirety of Thalamhan in the subtlest of ways. Whatever she feels, her citizens feel: a colonywide sense of happiness is because Danuas is happy. When Danuas is sad or angry, Thalamhan is restless, agitated, and/or sorrowful. When Danuas is terrified, the colony becomes panicked or defensive. When Danuas mourns, Thalamhan grinds to a halt.
She doesn't influence them, and not every Thalamite acts the same way. Thalamhan is certainly no hivemind, but Thalamites' connections to the titan mean that there's a hint of a collective conscience, even if it has little to no impact on daily life.
