“You got two.”
A grin plastered across his face when Nick finally left to get dressed. Yeah, he knew he looked fucking hot, but seeing it in the other’s reaction, well, it was nice. Not that his ego needed anymore boosting.
He checked his phone. Nick wasn’t gone long, but Trevor was getting impatient. Which might also have to do with the fact that they never had been on a date before. Like ever. As he was about to go to the bedroom and see what was taking him so long, Nick stepped out of the room.
“Fuck.” He raised his eyebrows and his eyes slowly moved over Nick’s body, all dressed up. Involuntarily he licked his lips.

"Shut the fuck up," he growled, and pulled Nick close. Pressing his lips on the boy's mouth, kissing him hard, he made sure Nick would finally have to do as told. Tugging at his clothes, he ushered him to the nearest surface or wall or whatever, who cares, he'd have him anywhere.
He couldn't help the chuckle which was leaving him, taking delight in the other's frustration. "On a scale from 1 to 'shut up' would you like to be the one to do that right now?"

Commitment
Pairing: Trevor x Nicky (1x06 Pete's Wife)
Summary/A/N: In 2x22 (The Heir) Trevor mentioned that he almost moved in with a woman, but that she wanted him to commit. In 1x06 (Pete's Wife), Trevor gets Sam to look up Nicky, a woman he thought could have been "the one". I said, why not make them the same person and explore the moment that T-Money bailed on his own happiness. You know, because why not sprinkle a little more angst into this fandom :)

Words: 1094
Additional note: I kinda feel like Trevor's unfinished business has to do with his commitment, accepting that money doesn't define his worth and having someone actually love him in return. So, I kind of want to make this into an H-Money series and weave in cannon moments plus steer these two in the right direction towards each other.
AO3: link (or below the cut!)
“Why so mopey, bro?” exclaims Chet, half-drank beer in his hand.
Trevor’s frown deepens as he plunks himself down on Ari’s expensive sofa.
“Yeah, dude. Who shit in your cornflakes?” chimes David Woodstone, swigging back his own chilled can of alcohol. “Thought you were having Nicky over tonight.”
Ari pipes up next as he saunters towards his friends. “Trouble in paradise, my man?”
Trevor releases a sigh. His voice quiets. “I think it may be over, guys.”
A collective gasp resonates through the lavish apartment.
~
“You taste scrumptious, sweetheart,” Trevor coos between kisses to his girlfriend’s neck. He feels her hum with affection against him.
“Babe,” Nicky begins, her voice tender and sweet. “What are we? I mean, we’ve been on and off for the better part of a year. I love being with you, but this whole arrangement where one of us comes over, we spend time together, and then one of us leaves again just doesn’t feel right anymore. I want us to be more than that. Being with you feels right, Trev.”
Trevor’s stomach drops. His whole body freezes. Is she saying what he thinks she’s saying? He props himself up on an elbow to meet her gaze. “What do you mean, Nicky?”
She must sense his unease because Nicky’s expression drops as she answers. “I mean, I want to have a proper relationship with you. I want to take this,” her fingertips graze his bare chest before pulling back to her own, “to the next level.”
“Like move in together?” Panic begins to set in. Trevor’s voice raises an octave.
“Well, maybe,” she keeps her voice soft, “but maybe more than just that? Maybe we can make our commitment to one another clear.”
Trevor’s brain stalls. Commitment. One simple word yet so many implications. So much weight behind its meaning. He adores Nicky, but does he love her? Does Trevor even know what love feels like? Does she love him? Is that what this is about?
His silence must have gone on for just a little too long. Nicky’s shoulders droop, and a defeated frown creeps its way onto her features. “Never mind,” she sighs, moving to get up.
“Nick, wait!” exclaims Trevor. And the look of hope that lights up her face as she turns around shatters Trevor’s heart. He tries to play it cool like he always does. “You know me, babe! I...I don’t deal well with all this intimate stuff.” Somehow, those are the only words he can think of.
A tear. It appears there in the corner of her eye, but she refuses to let it slip out. Nicky puts a hand up. “Save it, Lefkowitz. I should have known better than to push you towards this. I should know that you’re not that kind of guy.”
It’s like a hot iron rod is being driven through his chest, yet Trevor does nothing as he watches her dress, gather her belongings from the drawer he lets her use, and leaves.
~
Trevor’s head hangs between his shoulders as he leans forward on the sofa. “I royally fucked up.”
“Dude,” David preaches from beside Trevor, “chicks think that they can just tell their men what to do. Take away our autonomy.”
“But I really–” Trevor shifts, reaching into the breast pocket of his suit jacket. “I picked this up on the way here.” It’s then that Trevor reveals the small velvet box.
“Holy shit, bro!” gasps Chet.
“No fucking way!” shouts David.
Ari’s eyes widen into saucers.
Trevor holds the open box in his palm; its contents glitter in the afternoon light.
Sure, he gets invited to all the parties. Sure, he likes to splurge on a nice suit every once in a while. But the truth is, Trevor is not rich like Ari or David. Instead, he works hard and pays his rent, but while desperately tries to fit in with his friends’ lavish lifestyles, Trevor just isn’t really there yet.
So, the rock in his hand isn’t huge or overly expensive, but maybe, just maybe, it would be enough.
“Are you insane?!?!” Ari exclaims as if this must surely be some kind of prank.
“Bro, you are so whipped!” David gargles out a laugh, which sparks Ari to join in. Chet just stares, dumbfounded.
Trevor’s eyes dart between his friends, forcing a smile and a laugh amidst his confusion.
“Youre not serious, are you?” chides Ari, his words making a pit form in Trevor’s stomach.
When Trevor doesn’t answer, Ari just scoffs. “Trev, engagement spells the end of all fun.”
“No bro-nights. No drinking. No exclusive parties,” adds David.
Ari seizes the opportunity to continue. “You’ll just be dragged into the world of domesticity. Dinners with her friends and her family. Wedding planning. Then come the kids. Diapers. Being forced to stay home all the time. Not to mention that she won’t want you working in the city away from her. She’ll force you to take a safe job in the burbs and isolate you even more from us. I mean, we’re chick magnets, so she’d obviously be jealous all the time.”
The pit in Trevor’s stomach grows; it’s heavy and pushes acid into his throat. The question he had earlier resurfaces in his brain. Does he love Nicky? Is she the one? But would she try to change him or stop him from doing the things he enjoys? He is still young, with so much life to live and so many things to tick off his bucket list. But then, why had he just gone out and bought a ring?
“Trev, buddy,” Ari says, placing a hand on his friend’s shoulder and shaking Trevor from his thoughts.
Trevor gazes upwards, finding David as the one about to speak. “She’s probably got the plans for your future already mapped out.”
“Dave’s right,” Ari interjects. “You’re blinded by shiny stones and what-ifs. You’ve only been hooking up for the last year. Are you really ready to give all this”, he gestures around the room, “up for one person who probably wants to dictate the rest of your life? You need to look out for you, pal.”
His brow furrows as Trevor glances around absently.
Trevor always felt like he was going to be something. A few more promotions, and he would be raking in the dough. Then it would be him in a penthouse like Ari’s. Him hosting parties on a yacht. Him being able to afford Nicky the life she deserves. But right now, he couldn’t stop himself from living and enjoying the life that would get him there.
Not yet at least.
Feedback is loved ♥

Entry 088 - Bishop
Name: Lucas Bishop
Code Names: Bishop
First Appearance: Uncanny X-Men #282 (Nov ‘91)
Powers: Energy absorption and redirection
Teams Affiliation: XSE, X-Men, X-Force
About
When I was young I had a weird idea that I was just fixated on. I wanted the next Metal Gear Solid game to give Solid Snake a teen sidekick who could be his best friend and also do all the cool spy stuff. In retrospect, I can see why this was a worse idea than tricking your audience into playing an anticipated squeal staring a totally secret new bishōnen character instead of a gruff, Nick Fury looking dude they expected. The idea stuck with me because kids don’t always want to be their heroes, they want to hang out with them. They want to be Robin, not Batman. It’s a strange but understandable tic in fandom but it is why things like self-insert fan fiction is so big. More than anything else, Lucas Bishop was a fanboy who got to live the dream of being best friends with his heroes, and you know what? It kinda worked.
Portrayed by Omar Sy
Lucas Bishop was born of Australian Aboriginal parents in the late 21st century. Years ago a red-haired girl known as the mutant messiah had restored the X-Gene after the events of M-Day but lost control of her powers and accidentally killed over one million baseline humans. The world’s response was to round up all mutants, brand them with an “M”, and place them in relocation camps. These were the camps Bishop and his sister Shard grew up in. These were the camps where they watched their parents die. Raised by their grandmother, Lucas and Shard were raised on the stories of X-Men, mutant freedom fighters of the past. It was these stories that would drive him for the rest of his life.
Larry Stroman, Mark Farmer, and Matt Milla
Mutant freedom fighters known as “The Summers Rebellion” broke down the walls of the camps and freed those inside. In the chaos, Bishop was separated from his family and raised by a thief known as The Witness. He claimed to have been an X-Man in his past and told Bishop of the betrayer that destroyed the rest of the X-Men and the Son of Askani who protected the red-haired girl. Bishop found his way back to his sister and they were both recruited by a new mutant police squad known as the XSE, Xavier’s Security Enforcers. They trained hard and became the youngest officers in the program’s history. Bishop was consumed by his dedication to the job and chased the time traveling mutant Trevor Fitzroy back decades to the late 20th century where he finally came face to face with his heroes, the X-Men.
Whilce Portacio, Art Thibert, and Joe Rosas
The X-Men were displeased by Bishop’s militaristic attitude and willingness to kill but Bishop was simply in shock. These were the X-Men, his X-Men, and he would fall in line to learn from them. Bishop struggled to understand the customs of the time but desperately wanted to learn. He and Storm grew close and he quickly became a strong field commander. He was constantly on the lookout for a way to prevent his future and often battled with Gambit, who he believed to be the traitor to cause the fall of the X-Men.
Jim Lee, Art Thibert, and Joe Rosas
Bishop was among the X-Men to travel into the past and try to stop Legion from killing Magneto. Legion went to kill Magneto but his father, Charles Xavier, took the blow in his stead. This caused the world to rip into an apocalyptic splinter timeline and Bishop was the only one to remember the world as it was. He sought out the X-Men of that world and convinced them to make the world right again. Through great struggle and sacrifice, the X-Men of the Age of Apocalypse sent Bishop back to the moment Charles was killed. Bishop absorbed Legion’s blow and redirect it back at him, killing the young mutant and fixing the time stream.
Bishop returned to the X-Men, always on the lookout for the traitor. That traitor was revealed to be Charles Xavier himself as Onslaught. Bishop was key in his defeat but felt aimless when Xavier was gone. He traveled to Shi’ar space with the other X-Men but was separated from the team and paled around with Deathbird saving alternate realities. He was captured as one of The Twelve and returned to the X-Men after that event finished, looking for a new purpose in the past.
Kevin Lau
Bishop joined Storm’s X-Treme X-Men on the hunt for the Destiny Diaries and was essential in getting the squad legitimized as mutant law enforcement officers known as the XSE. He began working as a detective in a Manhattan neighborhood called Mutant Town on the Middle East Side. He investigated a mutant gang war and got to the bottom of a new, dangerous street drug called “Toad Juice” alongside his partner Izzy Ortega. It felt good to be a cop again but it all came crashing down when the Scarlet Witch depowered all but 198 of the world’s mutants.
Phil Jimenez
Bishop remembered the stories from his childhood, this is how it started. Soon the red-haired girl would be born and that could only lead to the camps. He kept this knowledge to himself, how could he tell his friends that their only hope would lead to the enslavement of the mutant race? Bishop was at the mansion when he heard of the first mutant born after M-Day, and he knew it was time to act. He chased down Cable, he remembered the stories of the Son of Askani fathering the girl and knew that is where she would be. He succeeded in incapacitating Cable and drawing his gun on the newborn, but he is attacked by a mutant hunting monster known as Predator X who bit off his right arm. He saw Cable and the child begin to teleport into the future and fired wildly at them. This was his last best chance before they escaped to the time stream and he intended to take it. The shots missed their target but one caught Charles Xavier. Bishop had spent his entire life idolizing the X-Men but now he had killed their leader and became their enemy.
Chris Bachalo, Tim Townsend, and Brian Reber
He made his way to Forge’s workshop in Dallas, stole a cool new robot arm, and began blanketing the future on the search for Cable. After an unsuccessful ambush in 2043, Bishop realized that he had to fight this war smarter. Cable could be anywhere on the planet at any time in the future and Bishop had to restrict that. He became a destroyer of worlds, killing billions to make continents inhospitable over hundreds of years. He didn’t care about the lives he destroyed. If he could prevent his future from happening, if he could kill the baby Hope, all of this would go away, right? These weren’t real people he was killing, they were just some mistake of a reality. That’s what he told himself at least. As Bishop tried and failed to destroy her, Hope grew into a young woman and she defeated Bishop with her father’s help. They were not content to leave this shallow husk of a man somewhere he could find them again. They destroyed his time travel device and sent him to the shallow husk of the Earth of 6700 AD, he was forced to live and die on the world he had razed.
Denys Cowan, Sandu Florea, and Pete Pantazis
His entire life, Lucas Bishop was a fighter, and this was no different. He wandered the wasteland until he was found by the Brothers of the Order. They were a group dedicated to protecting humanity from their dark shadows known as Revenants, beings the Shi’ar called Mummundrai. Bishop became a hunter in their order, seeking penance for what he had done to hope. The Revenant Queen known as the Great White Owl learned of Bishop and enacted a plan to travel back to the 21st century and establish world domination. She succeeded in coming to the modern era with Bishop but was eventually defeated by the X-Men. Bishop experienced deep sorrow for what he had done in the future and his one-time friend Storm decided she would help him make amends.
Adrian Alphona and Christiana Strain
Hope Summer’s was not so quick to forgive the man who had tried to kill her since the day she was born. The villain Stryfe orchestrated a situation to place Hope in a locked room with a bound Bishop and a sharp Psimitar as some elaborate revenge plot against Cable. Bishop begged for forgiveness but he understood that he deserved to die. Hope chose not to kill him in cold blood and the two reluctantly worked together to stop Stryfe. Since that day, Bishop dedicated his time to understanding the present to see if he could prevent any horrible futures. When Psylocke sent out a psychic distress call, Bishop was one of the X-Men who received it, and he worked with her to prevent the Shadow King from taking over the world.
Must Read
I am just going to tell you that my favorite Bishop based property is incredibly self-serving. It is Bish & Jubez by my Battle of the Atom co-host Adam Reck. It is a delightful adventure about a tough soldier and a spunky teen looking for a piece of junk food. It is so worth your time so check it out. The first volume is complete (you can read the whole thing here) and the second titled Bish & Jubez: The Age of Stryfe is just about to wrap up.
Ranking
I think Bishop can be a fun character if a little stiff. His villainous turn was fantastic and understandable; however, it did serious damage to the long-term health of the character. His redemption in Uncanny X-Force wasn’t convincing and current writers seem content with acting as if he didn’t commit global genocide. Another character that was ranked based on uneven writing was Warlock, and I frankly like that little robot dude better. Under him is Domino, another character I like, but don’t love. I do think Bishop is more flexible in stories than Dom so he can slide in as the new number 44 in the Xavier Files.
Magneto was requested by Max Dweck on Patreon among others. Thank you for the request. If you have a request for how about you send it below? If you want to cut to the front of the two-year long line, we have a Patreon you can support Xavier Files for just $1 to get a line cutting reward.
Make sure you check out my brand new podcast BATTLE OF THE ATOM. It’s where Bish & Jubez creator Adam Reck and I talk about every single X-Men story that ever existed and rank them from best to worst. Episode 6 is up and talk about that time George RR Martin and Stephen King wrote an X-Men book together. Make sure you subscribe on any of the following platforms (or others, I’m not picky) Apple Podcasts | Google Play | Stitcher | RSS.
Click here if you want to see the full ranked list, with links to every entry in the Xavier Files so far.
If you liked what you read be sure to follow Xavier Files on twitter, Tumblr, Facebook!
Next week we got ourselves some Bishop! See you then!

off the rack #1306
Monday, March 23, 2020
I don't know how much longer I will be able to write off the rack. New comics are still being shipped every week but the store is cutting back orders and rack copies are going to be very restricted. I have already been borrowing comic books from dear friends Ryan, Rebecca and Doug, with their permission when there are no copies left after pulling subscription service orders. This pandemic is a wake up call for all of humanity. No super heroes are going to swoop in to save the day. It's up to us to be careful and stay safe. I have not left our house except to go for walks since last Tuesday when I went to work to receive the new comics. I will be going to work tomorrow and then coming straight home after. I hope everyone is okay wherever you are.
Runaways #31 - Rainbow Rowell (writer) Andre Genolet (art) Dee Cunniffe (colours) VC's Joe Sabino (letters). Part 7 of "Canon Fodder" concludes this lengthy story with the evil Doc Justice showing his true colours. The villain may have been defeated but Doc Justice might live on. It's this possibility that will keep me reading.
Batman #91 - James Tynion IV (writer) Rafael Albuquerque, Jorge Jimenez, Carlo Pagulayan & Danny Miki (art) Tomeu Morey (colours) Clayton Cowles (letters). The Designer is a puppet master who has manipulated the Penguin, the Riddler, Catwoman and the Joker into taking over Gotham City. I like the unpredictability of what the four puppets are going to do. Next issue's feature villain is the Riddler and I can't wait to see what riddles he has in store for Batman.
The Red Mother #4 - Jeremy Haun (writer) Danny Luckert (art) Ed Dukeshire (letters). This is a really good creepy comic book. Daisy's visions are getting worse, which I'm hoping will lead to the appearance of the Red Mother. But I want to meet the black smoky scary guy with the white smiley face mask.
Marvels X #3 - Alex Ross & Jim Krueger (writers) Well-Bee (art) VC's Cory Petit (letters). Spider-Man and Daredevil try to get the last human being on Earth into the Baxter Building to see if Reed can find a cure for whatever is giving everybody super powers. I don't see how the kid is going to survive given who has him in his clutches now.
Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #4 - James Tynion IV (writer) Steve Epting (art) Nick Filardi (colours) Travis Lanham (letters). This issue's conclusion convinced me that I dislike the Batman Who Laughs a lot and I don't care what Perpetua does to the multiverse. But if you care, continue to read the story in Dark Nights Death Metal #1, the first of a 6-issue mini hitting the racks May 13.
Archie #712 - Mariko Tamaki & Kevin Panetta (writers) Laura Braga (art) Matt Herms (colours) Jack Morelli (letters). I'm reading this Katy Keene story because I miss Fashion Television.
Outlawed #1 - Eve L. Ewing (writer) Kim Jacinto (art) Espen Grundetjern (colours) VC's Clayton Cowles (letters). This $4.99 US one shot is a prelude to the return of the Champions to the racks. But now the kids are going to be on the wrong side of the law. The government has banned all activity by under-aged super heroes because of a major disaster. That feeling of déjà vu you're getting is because Marvel did this already with the New Warriors. If you want to see these youngsters fight against the Child hero Reconnaissance And Disruption Law Enforcement organization or C.R.A.D.L.E., pick up Champions #1 April 8.
DCeased: Unkillables #2 - Tom Taylor (writer) Karl Mostert (pencils) Trevor Scott, Neil Edwards & Karl Mostert (inks) Rex Lokus (colours) Saida Temofonte (letters). Now that the good guys and the bad guys have to work together to survive the zombies this story got more interesting. I like the familial element with Shiva and her daughter Cassandra/Batgirl and Deathstroke and his daughter Rose. I really liked how Vandal Savage meets a gruesome end. I can't wait to see what new hell is unleashed in next issue's conclusion.
X-Ray Robot #1 - Michael Allred (writer & art) Laura Allred (colours) Nate Piekos (letters). This science-fiction story about a scientist and his interdimensional travelling robot invention is typical Michael Allred whacky fun. There's a lot of crazy kinetic energy in these pages and you have to pay close attention so you don't get lost. Doctor Max Wilding is a hero in waiting.
Spider-Woman #1 - Karla Pacheco (writer) Pere Perez (art) Frank D'Armata (colours) VC's Travis Lanham (letters). I'm sad that my friend Gord McDougall, who passed away last year, isn't around to see his favourite super hero get back on the racks in this excellent debut. I really like the new costume. Jessica is hired to protect a billionaire's daughter at her sweet sixteen birthday party on a mega yacht (that spelling baffles me). When kidnappers attack we see how awesome Jess can be. The art is gorgeous and I'm going to add this to my "must read" list. The back-up story with art by Paulo Siqueira (pencils) and Oren Junior (inks) shows us how Jessica gets her new costume. There's something funny going on with it and this subplot makes this $4.99 US debut seem cheap at twice the price.
The Resistance #1 - J. Michael Straczynski (writer) Mike Deodato Jr. (art) Frank Martin (colours) Sal Cipriano (letters). J. Michael Straczynski, now that's a name that I haven't seen on the racks for a while. I'm so glad he's back. This is the comic book of the week if not the year. It starts off with a global pandemic which immediately pulled me in because of what's currently happening in real life. By the end of this first issue I realized that what happened in the comic was just a way to grant random people super powers all at once all around the world. Not a new concept I know, but it's being done by one of my favourite writers and a very good artist. I'm adding this 6-issue mini to my "must read" list. This book is from brand new publisher AWA which stands for Artists, Writers and Artisans. I will be looking for their books by Frank Cho, Peter Milligan, and Garth Ennis when they hit the racks in the future. You should too.
Conan the Barbarian #14 - Jim Zub (writer) Roge Antonio (art) Israel Silva (colours) VC's Travis Lanham (letters). The explanation of how Conan survives being run through with a sword made me groan but I read on. Conan and the remaining warriors must work together to survive the rest of the gauntlet but one of them is a treacherous killer. Who that is keeps me interested.
Something is Killing the Children #6 - James Tynion IV (writer) Werther Dell'Edera (art) Miquel Muerto (colours) AndWorld Design (letters). A new story starts here. It looks like we're going to get Erica's origin story and I'm looking forward to finding out more about Ms. Slaughter.
Guardians of the Galaxy #3 - Al Ewing (writer) Nina Vakueva, Chris Sprouse, Belen Ortega & Juann Cabal (pencils) Nina Vakueva, Karl Story, Belen Ortega & Juann Cabal (inks) Federico Blee (colours) VC's Cory Petit (letters). In the aftermath of Peter's "death" (he'll return eventually I'm sure) the rest of the Guardians must get on with their lives. A new client hires them but I see a big conflict of interest in their new mission. Their new client made me wonder if a copyright infringement was being made by Marvel. Someone over there forget about Bucky O'Hare? Is Blackjack related? Okay, a quick search confirms that Blackjack O'Hare first appeared in a Marvel comic in May 1982 and Bucky first appeared in the Continuity Graphics title Echo of Futurepast #1 in May 1984 with some sweet art by Michael Golden. Law suits averted.
Fantastic Four #20 - Dan Slott (writer) Peco Medina (art) Jesus Aburtov (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). This is a great one-shot story for fans thinking about adding this book to their sub. The Four return from their space adventure on Spyre with Johnny's soul mate Sky. Then the new couple goes to help Wyatt Wingfoot with an attack by the Mole Man. Everything is wrapped up nice and neat in this one issue and you will get the warm and fuzzies getting to know Marvel's First Family. I still like this book.
Valkyrie #9 - Jason Aaron & Torunn Gronbekk (writers) Ramon Rosanas (art) Jesus Aburtov (colours) VC's Joe Sabino (letters). How many times can Jason Aaron bring about a Ragnarok-like event? As many times as he wants as far as I'm concerned. Here we have Tyr unleashing an ancient dark power and now it's up to Val to stop it. This title is still top tier.
X-Force #9 - Benjamin Percy (writer) Joshua Cassara (art) Dean White (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). I continue to read books that I feel aren't that great for a variety of reasons. I'm not fond of the art in this title and the missions that this team goes on are okay, not great. I do however, like that Domino and Wolverine are on this team. Their behaviour in this book will determine how long I stay a fan.
Robin 100-Page Super Spectacular - These one-shot anthologies are a great way to catch up on characters. There are 10 short stories featuring the 5 Robins: Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne. There are a couple of retro stories by Marv Wolfman and Chick Dixon that were hokey. I preferred the current stories by James Tynion V, Peter J. Tomasi and Robbie Thompson. The last story made me curious about what's happening with Damian leading the Teen Titans. Pick up this $9.99 US 80th Anniversary book to get a nice picture of one of comics' iconic sidekicks.

@frxgmcnts asked “it’s starting to dawn on me that… the reason you might not want to come out about this is because you don’t really love me—” nick (@favcritecriime) to any muse you’re feeling
Secret relationship .
Trevor was standing in front of the other male, arms dangling by his sides. He looked at Nick, his lips parted, a furrow appearing between his brows as he narrowed his eyes. A look of puzzlement on his face. Why was he starting this? They were having a good time, weren't they?
Trevor scratched his head, licked his lips, nodded, then shrugged.
“So what?” His blue eyes met dark ones. “Don't be ridiculous. Of course, I only said that to get into your pants.” (and maybe use him as a sacrifice) “What? You gonna cry about it now?”

“Hm?” A slight look of confusion was on his face at her words, but it quickly turned into a self-assured look. “What? Were you worried about me?” he said mockingly, as he came closer. He stopped not even a foot away from her. She kept her stance, arms folded in front of her chest, looking him up and down, she didn’t seem to be the least bit impressed by his attitude or his size.
He scratched the back of his head and looked about.
“So, what is it? What has Rennie told you? What does he want us to do about it?”
☠ — @byronlc | gets a zombie apocalypse starter from victoria for trevor
A quiet sigh left her as she stood there with crossed arms. She was suppose to meet up with Trevor, but so far, he was nowhere to be seen. She knew, he knew better than slacking off. Yet she did wonder what was the reason for the delay. He was lucky, that no matter what it was, she wasn't going to rat him out. Others within the community certainly would jump at the chance, especially if it came to one of the golden soldiers. They might be of the highest rank, but they weren't immune to keeping it forever if they didn't do their job properly anymore. "Is this your new thing?" Vic directly asked, when she finally spotted him heading her way.

( continued )
Trevor's reaction was one he very much expected, therefore had no trouble holding the other's gaze when he was pulled flush against his chest by the collar. "Or what?" Nick dared to challenge.
He was very aware he was pushing buttons, reason why he kept doing it in his calm manner which built such a contrast to Trevor's agitated mood. "It's only fair. You can't be the only one calling me Nicky and baby and get away with it." Nick leaned a tad closer to Trevor's face. "You're lucky I'm not using bae in public."
“Or what??” He repeated, his expression showing disbelief at Nick's challenging him. “You really intend to find out, that it?” Trev glared at the other through narrowed eyes. “You know it's fucking different when I call you that.”
When his not-boyfriend had the audacity to not only hold his gaze, but even come closer and just couldn't stop talking back, Trev's fist clenched, twisting the fabric of Nick's shirt in its grip. His mouth pressed into a thin line, his teeth grinding, a vein showing at his temple.
“Don't you dare…” Trev growled.

[txt] funny. now get your ass over here.
They had met in rehab. And maybe it was true what they said, it was never a good idea to get involved with people you met in rehab. But that was depending on who you asked.
Trevor was biting the skin on his finger, nervously glancing at his phone. Still no response after a full ten minutes. His leg started shaking, he was getting edgy. He texted again.

[ Cuddle ] My muse cuddles up in bed to yours. + [ 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐄 ] My muse intertwines their fingers with yours. (for trev & nick is the one doing that)
𝐍𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐗𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
He was lying on his back in the bed, the sheets ruffled. His breathing slowing down as his body was relaxing. The heat was still in the air as was that heavy scent of sex. He should be going…
His hand touched his naked stomach, he lifted it and looked at his fingers. A smirk appeared on his lips. Maybe he should take a shower first. He rubbed his hand clean on the sheet. His head turned sideways and he looked right at the face of the culprit. Pupils dilated, lips swollen from all those bruising kisses, cheeks glowing. That afterglow was the prettiest thing. Nick was the prettiest thing.
Trev reached over to brush a strand of unruly hair out of Nick's face. His fingers lingered on his cheek. Feeling the warmth. Trevor opened his mouth and Nick looked at him as if he knew what he was about to say, as if he was waiting for it.
But Trev didn't say it. Instead he said, “Aren't you tired?” and turned his head so he looked at the ceiling again.
He felt the movement. And then he felt him. Trev still looked at the ceiling. His face didn't give away anything. Only if you knew him very well, you'd be able to detect that small smile. Not a grin. A very tiny smile that tugged at the corners of his lips.
Nick had cuddled up to him, placing his head on Trevor's chest. Without thinking about it, Trev's arm wrapped around the dark-haired boy's body, holding him. And he held his breath as he felt eager fingers looking for his, intertwining with his.
And he exhaled that breath, and took another. And his chest rose and with it Nick. And he held his hand. And it was strange, because right now they felt so close, like the closest ever. Even closer than before when he had been inside him. When they had been one. And his heart was beating vividly, and he was sure Nick could hear it. He could hear it all. Even the unsaid words.

[ 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 ] : sender and receiver are having lazy morning sex. (for trev)
𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬
Someone had forgotten to draw the curtains last night and the late morning sunlight made Trevor blink and groan, and turn his head to that someone. Nick lay next to him on his side, back towards Trevor. The blanket ruffled and hardly covering anything as it was entangled with his legs. His back moved with the slow breathes he took. Trev couldn't see the other's face. Was he still sleeping or just pretending to be asleep because he didn't want to get up?
Trev moved closer, the mattress tilted slightly under his weight, and that was probably the reason why the other's body moved closer to him too. Trevor's chest touched the other's back, a film of sweat from their nightly activities between them. His fingertips playfully wandered over Nick's side, rubbed gently over his hip bone.
With his mouth shut, still a groan left Trev's throat, as he felt Nick's butt pushing back against his already hardening cock. He couldn't see it, but he was sure, the little shit was grinning smugly, with his eyes closed and still pretending to sleep.
Trevor lazily rocked his hips against him, so his length rubbed against that perfect piece of ass. His hand gripped his hip, held him there, making him feel his growing need. He lifted his head to whisper into the dark-haired boy's ear. “You can pretend to be asleep all you want, baby. Unless you start snoring, I'm gonna fuck you now.” While speaking his hand moved over Nick's stomach, moved between his legs and was now stroking the other's cock that was anything but asleep. His own hard member pushed between the firm cheeks, and he hissed a curse when he felt the sticky remains of himself there. Positioning his tip at the entrance, he waited for Nick to just move up his leg a little bit, so his cock could slide in.

[ 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐊𝐄 ] My muse gently runs a hand over your muse’s back. (for trev)
𝐍𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐗𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
His face was showing no emotion. Not giving away any of his thoughts. He looked directly at Big Jim, who was standing on the steps to what used to be the college's library, giving one of his speeches, talking about duty, the new age, his vision and some other bullshit. Trevor hardly paid attention. Right now he paid zero attention to what the angry man was saying or yelling. Even though he didn’t look at him, his sole focus was on the boy with the wild dark eyes next to him.
It hadn’t even been two weeks since Nick literally fell off a truck right into his arms. And he had kept him close ever since. Sure people talked, people frowned, but Trevor couldn’t give less fucks about them. He had Nick with him, always. So naturally he was with him to attend Big Jim’s big speech of the week.
The dark-haired boy stood very close to him, he stood in front of him, a bit to the right. The back of his left shoulder almost touched his chest. Almost.
His hand moved between them, moved up Nick's back. Slowly. Stopping at his nape, gently brushing through the hair and caressing the soft skin underneath at the back of his neck.

@neverfittedin asked:
[ PULL ] for the shorter muse to tug the taller one down by the collar to kiss them. ( to trev / even if their height difference isn’t that huge )
‘TOL AND SMOL’ PROMPTS
Fuck. This didn't look like it was supposed to. Trevor frowned. The compound didn't look as the guy had described it. So either he had been lying – which Trevor doubted cause the man seemed too afraid to do that – or he had shitty memory. Whatever the reason, the information he got was useless. His eyes narrowed as he tried to spot a trademark in the distance. From the hill he was standing on, he had a good view of the area, though he doubted that this was what they had been looking for.
His head turned to the right, Trev was glancing at the distance, his thoughts far away, when he felt something tug at his collar. His eyebrows rose as he turned his head, and when he realized that that “something” was Nick's hand, who was standing in front of him, pulling him down, the corners of his lips curled into a small grin. Though Nick didn't say a word, Trev at once knew what he wanted.
He leaned down, both his hands cupping the other's face. He closed his eyes when he felt his breath on his lips. Opening his mouth, he brought it down on Nick's mouth. That little tingling sensation from the first touch quickly turned into something more fervent as it travelled through his whole body. And though Nick had initiated the kiss, it was Trev who demanded more now, who claimed the other's mouth, kissing him with a growing hunger. He groaned into Nick's mouth when his hands moved to the back of Nick's head, buried themselves in the short hair, he still wasn't used to feeling less of it and thus grabbed it even firmer as he deepened the kiss.

"Why all pouty? There's no reason for it, now is there? - Or could it be..? You like me calling you bae." (to trev obviously, refering to the last reply on here ^^)
"I said shut up." He growls. Grabbing him by the collar, he pulls Nick close, his chest flush against his. He looks down at the other, his features stern, his body tense. "Stop mocking me, you little shit."
In case Nick hadn’t noticed, Trev is mad, fucking mad – and also hot for the little pest who is most definitely not his boyfriend.
