Luke knew there was no way of hiding this. He could never hide anything from Ivan and Fedyor. With their Grisha abilities they knew when Luke was lying, but only called him out on big lies. He couldn’t hide whenever his heart sped up or slowed down, when his emotions or breathing changed.
