Originally made in the Guitar Hero character creator, Nigel Nigel became much more after I realized I did not have to keep him confined to his Guitar Hero prison. He’s a glam rocker, a silly old man, and he’s fucking PINK. He’s the catalyst that made me create an entire extradimensional race of creatures that only exist to glam rock and make people smile. His band is named Nigel Nigel and The Nigels because it’s just him and four more of himself. Just like in Guitar Hero. ❤️ Basically, I just think he’s neat and deserves something. Yes I have cooler Nigellians but he’s the original and he’s my baby.

He’s pink, wears various glasses and sunglasses, and has lots of fun and glamorous outfits! He’s short (4 foot something, nigellians are short), stout, and has defined facial features such as visible cheekbones and a cleft chin. His hair is a darker and more saturated pink than his “skin” tone and is styled to stick up at an angle.

2 things: 1) the stickers and the fire thing. In s2 episode 19, the first thing we notice about doug's room is that not only are the walls covered in stickers, he also spraypainted fire on the wall. His villain suit? Covered in stickers. Most teens his age wouldnt be caught dead near stickers, and i see a very easy reason for why he has so many 👀 2) canonically, dakota wasnt in school much, despite being the soccer captain. Hes also semi-canonised as autistic, and based on his general character traits he also probably was seen as a little weird. Doug was friends with him even before he was a hero, which means whatever reason he had for being friends must have been a genuine one at first, and i rlly like the idea that it was just an audhd kid clocking the only other autistic at school and just going "mine"
