Both these games, love the way they tell a story.

Height comparison of an average Wayfarer + Various skypeople and a spirit. One version is the original intention of how tall these characters are supposed to be compared to each other (so no consideration of specific heights), and the other is adjusted for real world heights.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think it's really funny to think of Wayfarers as a megafauna species compared to the Ancestors and skypeople.
Some things may be subject to being adjusted, but I think any awkwardness I feel about these heights mainly comes from the skykids and my lack of memory for what the proportions of a 9-13 year old should look like.
Other note: I would have liked to include Mufo/Swordmaster, however that felt redundant because she's about as tall as Piripu/Spearmaster but an inch or two taller. With that in mind, this does mean Mufo grows up to be a six-foot-something freak that wears heels.
Odiwa's companion, Kucevoz, is also not pictured for similar reasons. Kucevoz is a similar height, but they are slightly shorter.

Following up on the last post I made. This the color gang!
First! Yellow's design is mostly influenced by a traffic cone I saw last week! In this headcannon I envisioned him being interested in construction. Hence their block like design in their cape.
Second! Green's musician design. I imagine them as a court musician with their blue-green cape that is stitched with music notes! I also gave him a jester hat, since he's usually the one that gets hurt for comedic scenes.
Third! Red is design after a shepherd! The stiches on his cape display manta creatures, the dunes and eyes. Red is one of the more unusual wayfarers that don't have a conventual cape. Instead, the fur on his cape is the one that grows.
Lastly- Cyan! Cyan is designed after a chef/scientist. Their cape is made short so that they can keep it clean. And their hood is slightly over their face as a faux mask. His stiches show his interest in plants, chemicals and writing.
omg gosh this took awhile to make since we got our power back last thursday~
But while i was out of power i made the gangs' design in my art book! As well as TCO and TDL's design!
Let me know what yall think!

I flew over the clouds instead of through the ravine when I left Hermit Valley, since I hadn’t done it in a while. Took some nice pics along the way.

In Journey, at the end of the sliding level, you fall into a dark hole with the temple leading to the underground level. If you go to the back wall and climb the wall crevices, you’ll find an area where you can pass through the wall to OOB. It takes a bit of practice and there are a lot of wind traps along the way, but if you know where to go, you find a view very much like the one below I found at the end of the ravine. You can find numerous nice images of it at https://journey.fandom.com/wiki/Sunken_City_(OOB)#Galleries,_impressions_and_places_in_SC_OOB

This is after I flew over the exit transition toward the Eden mountain and turned the camera backward to look back where the area ends.

So I got around to starting Journey and it's interesting how much it feels like a proto-Sky. I mean they were made by the same company, but it still surprised me. This isn't a bad thing--I think Sky's core controls are very fluid, and they got their start in Journey.
At the very least, I can take solace in knowing Journey is a complete experience while Sky is always expanding due to the nature of live-service games.

I see you, I hear you, and I know we are the same. Both curious, both eager to explore. We hold the light of our ancestors, and we share it happily.

My personal concept of what Wayfarers (from hit TGC game Journey) look like under their cloaks. Canonically they have these funny undetailed legs, but for sake of incorporation into the Mufopiriverse™️, they get arms too.
Different individuals may have different upperbody clothing styles, but I remain pretty staunch on the pants, as to preserve some of the original shape language of Wayfarers as they are seen in-game (when you do see their legs). The same goes for the deep red coloration of the clothes, which are intended to blend into the shadows of the cape. This is hopefully not to distract from the Wayfarers' main features: their billowing cape, and the little feets they have poking out from under it.
If I had the time, I would also draw an Ancestor/Spirit (Sky:CotL) standing next to this Wayfarer. In older concepts of mine, a Wayfarer is a head taller than your average Spirit, though I may bump that up to two heads once I get around to drawing it.
The Wayfarer I drew is quite spindly once you remove their clothes. This is intentional, because I kinda want Wayfarers to look a bit alien compared to humans/Spirits.
