Here’s an expanded concept of the game, blending a strategic, character-driven card game with tarot-inspired elements for a unique experience. This design creates layers where players can compete while drawing on the symbolic nature of their characters’ powers and personalities.
---
Game Concept and Goal
The game, tentatively titled EnXanting Realms, combines traditional turn-based card gameplay with tarot-like card reading mechanics. The objective is to use strategy, character synergy, and the environment to defeat the opponent, or, in a single-player mode, complete quests and challenges in a story-driven format.
The secondary goal is to use the cards as "readings" that provide insight or guidance based on the characters drawn, which can be interpreted for real-life situations, similar to tarot.
---
Game Structure
1. Players: 1v1 format for versus mode, or solo mode for story/quest-based campaigns.
2. Deck Size: Each deck consists of 12 cards—6 character cards and 6 ability/environment cards. Players select their characters and ability/environment cards before the game begins.
3. Turns: Players alternate turns, where each turn allows for drawing one card, placing a character, using an ability, or activating an environment effect.
4. Objective: Reduce the opponent’s health to zero or achieve set objectives depending on the mode (e.g., protect certain allies, survive rounds, etc.).
---
Card Types
1. Character Cards: Each represents a unique hero, like Ignis, Solara, Chanel, Verdara, and so on. These cards have:
Primary Ability: An innate power unique to the character, usable once per turn.
Ultimate Power: A stronger move activated once per game after meeting certain conditions (e.g., energy accumulation).
Environmental Synergy: A condition or bonus the character receives in certain environments (e.g., Solara gains strength in daylight).
Weakness: A counter that makes the character vulnerable to specific types of attacks or conditions.
2. Ability Cards: Special powers or attacks that can enhance or protect characters. Examples include Ignis's "Phoenix's Fury" or Chanel’s “Glitching Mirage.” These cards are played to aid or boost a character's power temporarily.
3. Environment Cards: Cards that alter the field. These might include “Sunlit Plains,” “Mystical Forest,” “Digital Cityscape,” or “Frozen Mountains.” Environment cards provide buffs or debuffs to characters depending on the setting and are critical for strategy.
---
Basic Rules
1. Setup: Each player starts with 12 cards, drawing a hand of 5 cards to begin.
2. Play Phases:
Draw Phase: Each player draws one card from their deck.
Action Phase: The player can either:
Place a Character: Summon a character card to the field.
Play an Ability: Use an ability card to enhance a character or perform an attack.
Activate an Environment: Change the field, which can alter the flow of battle.
End Phase: Resolve any ongoing effects and end the turn.
3. Victory Conditions: Reduce the opponent’s life points to zero or complete a special objective (e.g., survive a set number of turns, capture a specific character).
---
Tarot-Style Card Reading Mechanic
To incorporate a tarot reading element, each character card has deeper symbolic meanings, offering players a second way to interact with their deck:
1. Character Symbolism:
Ignis: Represents courage, passion, and the inner fire. In a reading, drawing Ignis might indicate a need for bold action or rekindling of purpose.
Lunara: Symbolizes healing, reflection, and tranquility. In a reading, Lunara might suggest a time to focus on recovery and emotional clarity.
Solara: Represents strength, resilience, and optimism. Solara’s card in a reading could encourage positive thinking and inner strength.
Frostine: Signifies clarity, control, and boundaries. Drawing Frostine may mean one should approach matters with cool-headedness and clear boundaries.
Chanel: Represents insight, adaptability, and stealth. Chanel’s presence in a reading might advise flexibility and thinking outside the box.
Verdara: Symbolizes growth, nurturing, and healing. A reading with Verdara may suggest focusing on self-care or growth in one’s environment.
2. How to Perform a Reading:
Single-Card Pull: Draw one card for guidance. The character's traits and powers represent the energy or approach the player might take in a real-life situation.
Three-Card Spread: Draw three cards to represent Past, Present, and Future. Each character’s traits provide insight into each timeframe or life phase.
Full Spread: Draw a hand of five cards and lay them out in a spread, with each position assigned a different aspect, such as Energy, Challenge, Guidance, Outcome, and Support. The unique powers and qualities of each character can then be interpreted for personal advice.
3. Using Environment and Ability Cards in Readings:
Environment cards could symbolize the setting or "feel" of a situation, influencing the way a reading unfolds.
Ability cards represent specific actions or influences, suggesting potential strategies or areas of focus (e.g., “Phoenix’s Fury” could imply the need to release pent-up energy or confront a challenge boldly).
---
Gameplay Examples and Reading Integration
1. Example Game Play:
On Turn 1, a player places Solara and activates her “Radiant Shield,” preparing for defense. The opposing player counters by placing Frostine in a “Frozen Mountains” environment, giving Frostine an edge due to the cold climate.
The players exchange turns, leveraging their characters’ powers and abilities until one player manages to reduce the other’s health to zero.
2. Example Reading Scenario:
A player asks for guidance on a challenging situation and pulls Verdara (Nurturing), Chanel (Insight), and Lunara (Healing) in a three-card spread. The reading suggests focusing on inner healing, finding unique perspectives, and being patient as things grow or evolve naturally.
---
Final Thoughts
The EnXanting Realms game blends strategy with symbolism, allowing players to compete in traditional card battles while also exploring a more introspective, interpretive layer inspired by tarot. Each character and ability card has a role in both combat and in personal reflection, making the game enjoyable for those seeking either dynamic gameplay or deeper insight into their character choices.

Genius Invocation TGC released a card of... you!
Monstatd Liyue Inazuma Sumeru Other
Characters: Cyno, Dehya, Nilou, Collei, Tighnari, Alhaitham, Kaveh, Nahida, Jeht
Genre: Fluff, crack!, maybe a tiny sprinkle of angst for some characters
Warnings: None... well it talks about your card being defeated....
Summary: Genius Invocation TCG has taken all of Teyvat by storm! People from all over have decks of cards; ask almost anyone and they'll be down to play a round. You earned great renown from being a famous adventurer… or maybe you're a travelling merchant, or a bard from Monstadt. Maybe you're a scholar from Sumeru, a Knight of Favonius, a Tenryou Commissioner or even a member of the Liyue Qixing. Whatever you do, you garnered the attention of the creators of Genius Invocation! How do your favourite genshin characters react to a new card, of none other than you, being released?
Notes: WOWIE okay so this might be one of my more ambitious projects! I'm going to make a series that will hopefully include every playable character and even some beloved NPCs! I'll keep them as short headcannons because there's a lot of characters to go through, and I'll do my best to make them non-repetitive.
•Cyno would show off your card to everyone, proud to have it in his deck. He would always play it, it would be his trump card. His entire deck is based around your card
•He would actually get jealous if he saw someone else using your card.
•Often uses his own card alongside yours… what? the combos are an instant win!
•Definitely owns more than one of your card both regular and shiny. One for playing and one for his collection.
•Blatantly tells people they don’t know how to use your card properly, or gives them advice on how to play better if they lose with you.
»»————- ♡ -————««
•Dehya is impressed you got your own card. She is happy for you and will tell everyone that it’s the best card.
•She uses your card often and will rub it in the face of everyone she beats. “See! This is the strongest card out there!”
•Jokes about keeping you in her pocket… literally. Carries it in a different pocket than the rest of her best because it’s not just a card it’s like a little part of you with her.
•Gets annoyed whenever people knock out your card. She’ll tell them they’ll regret it and then pays them back tenfold. If she loses your card it won’t be in vain.
»»————- ♡ -————««
•Nilou never really played cards, but seeing that there was one based off you? Well now she HAS to try it.
•Would join the theatre's game nights and be super excited to try your card!
•I feel like she would get pretty competitive with it, she would try so hard to keep your card alive. She even sacrifices her other cards to save you.
•If she loses she won’t get discouraged. She’ll practice more so she can win next time, she doesn’t want to let you your card down!
»»————- ♡ -————««
•Collei would be sooooo excited to see a card of you! She thinks it’s so cool and is happy that you both have cards!
•Would be very hyped to play a round using your card but if she loses…
•She would be so sad if your card got knocked out. Would apologize to you and would be too scared to use your card again.
•If she did use your card again she would always sacrifice her card first. (Please give her a hug and tell her it’s just a game and that she could never let you down.)
»»————- ♡ -————««
•Tighnari would be intrigued about your card. He would be curious to see what the card’s abilities are, though he still thinks yours are cooler in real life.
•He wouldn’t use your card all the time, only when a situation requires it. He’d be careful and tactful using it, but it always pays off.
•He never loses when he uses your card. Some might think your card is overpowered or his lucky charm, but he just knows how to maximize its strengths.
•Would be a bit jokingly peeved that you got a care before him.
»»————- ♡ -————««
•Alhaitham wouldn’t react much on the surface, much like anything else, but he would understand the significance this holds for you. After all, of all the people in Teyvat there aren’t that many cards.
•Would feel a small amount of pride for you, and he would play your card the next time he begrudgingly accepts to play cards with the boys.
•He’s annoyingly objective about the strengths and weaknesses of your card. But when he knocks out all of his opponents in only a few rounds… well, you’re just glad he’s using your card well.
•If anyone calls favouritism for him using your card so often he just shrugs it off, saying your card simply synergizes the best with other cards, allowing for many different combinations to win in any scenario.
•Definitely gets jealous annoyed when he sees others using your card because only he can use your card he claims others don’t know how to properly use it.
•Bonus: Kaveh would ask you to confiscate your card from Alhaitham's deck so he stops losing to him on game nights LMAO
»»————- ♡ -————««
•Kaveh would be SO hyped about your card and would make sure EVERYONE else knows that.
•He would win 1 (one) round with your card and claim it’s the best card ever and it’s his lucky card and he’ll win every game with it
•Then he goes on a 5 game losing streak.
•He would be bummed about it and would probably ask you to bless it or imbue it with good luck or something.
•Would actually do some looking into your card’s abilities and what other cards go best with it just so he can prove to you show others that it IS a good card and he can win with it!!!
»»————- ♡ -————««
•Nahida would thinks it’s so cute that they made a little card of you and that it makes you so happy!
•Because of her curiosity and because she accidentally saw into your mind and knows that it would make you happy she would try out the game.
•Goes without saying that she would win… but she would probably get really into Genius Invocation after that.
•Starts building a deck and challenges people whenever she has free time.
»»————- ♡ -————««
•Jeht would love to have a card of you! She always keeps it with her and whenever she plays against random travellers or merchants that she encounter she uses your card. It’s like having you with her 🥺
•If she won with your card she would be so happy and would jump around but if she lost…
•At first she would feel like you betrayed her.. but then she takes it out on her opponent. I love her but she’s a bit of a sore loser.
•Probably just looks at the card when she’s lonely and she misses you. She talks to the card and tells stories of her journey as if she were talking to you, and promises she’ll tell you in person one day. I love her so much her story is so sad she deserves so much better please let me hug you and be with you always omg

man I love the TGC streams. beef’s card games is genuinely one of the best things that’s been added to hermitcraft like… at LEAST all season, if not since before then. it’s causing such fun chill streams of hermits hanging out and grinding the tcg. we’ve had more group streams and calls than we’ve had in AGES, and organic collabs of just guys chilling in a card shop. hell, we’ve gotten ETHO on several people’s streams, just appearing to hang out! they’re things that are making me so, so happy to watch and know exist. I love a good “hermits hang out” stream - it’s why I love the bigger hhh streams - but the TCG is facilitating this on an even bigger level and in a way that appeals to me so deeply that I don’t know I can fully explain other than to repeatedly say “please understand I’m a card shop nerd who still feels my core self is a yu-gi-oh protagonist somewhere in my heart”. but even if you don’t like the card game part they’re just… so good for hanging out, especially as the hermits get better at it and need fewer judge calls and stuff to play. I love so, so much that the TCG is making this happen and that I can open one of my guys’ streams and there’s high odds that they’re just chilling with one or more of the others playing cards. I love the episodes. and the map art still remains a FEAT. I love the hermit TCG so much gg beef

I kinda like to imagine cyno is secretly some covert pervert in secret...when he falls for his darling he lowkey stalks them and follows them around to their home...peeks on them as they shower or change, watches them sleep...maybe even...does things to them as they sleep
Also imagine he befriends darling and they end up playing tgc one night...but with a twist...loser has to shed off one piece of clothing per round played (cynos practically half naked as it is so hes fine) but hes very pleased with himself that darling is stripped down into nothing but underwear...
Omg strip tcg with Cyno.... wwowooooooooooooo orz orz you can never beat him because he is genuinely so good at the game and he has put so much time into it, building up the most powerful deck and improving his strategies until he's practically impossible to defeat. When you agreed to play him, you were essentially subjecting yourself to the Dark Souls boss of tcg lol. Cyno hasn't even had to strip anything yet (not that there's much to strip, but even so his winning streak is alarming. He's too good or maybe you're just not good enough.)
And the fact that he's in a position of power, too!!!!!!! You can't refuse the General Mahamatra, even if it's uncomfortable to be nearly nude and sitting across from him. And you certainly aren't going to want to cross him. As relaxed as he appears one on one with you, you know very well that when it comes to administering justice he is ruthless. You'd prefer not to get on his frightening bad side, so even if keeping your relations with him peaceful means you have to sit on his lap or let him treat you to a meal or some drinks you'll do just that. Cyno won't hold his position over your head. He knows that you know he's got a cushy, well-paying, influential job, so less whining and more stripping. After all, what the winner says goes and the loser has no choice but to listen. You did agree to the twist when you first started playing, after all. :)
And if alcohol does play a factor in strip tcg, then you are most definitely finding yourself in his bed after the both of you have tired of playing cards, submitting to the lustful, intoxicated tension that has blanketed the air ever since you removed your first article of clothing.
#genshin chit chat#yandere cyno#cyno please hurry back for a rerun soon <3#i wanted to wish so badly but i must keep my eyes on inevitable mouchey rerun#i cannot wish until i have my king at c6 orz#NOW WAIT A MINUTE...... DISCORD MOD CYNO...............#the discord mod scara influence is too strong >_<

what did they ask tcg?? :( im too scared to watch the video bcos of second hand cringe from the questions honestly
There was some chick who stood up to VENT about Aegon usurping Rhaenyra. Even more embarrassing was the fact that she kept stumbling over her words. She was visibly UPSET and almost choking with tears lmao.
Imagine being such a loser that you can't separate fiction from reality. TGC handled that with a straight face but I know he was deadass laughing internally at how delusional fans can be. I bet he was happy when that was all over. Brave guy.

The favorites p.1
Yandere! Teyvat x gn god!reader
Warnings: yandere themes, reader is a bit oblivious, reader is designs as a hobby but graduated with a law degree at earth, swearing, slight violence if you squint, Aether loves feeding reader food (blame paimon), jealousy, paimon loves annoying reader, mentions off Cyno, Tignari in that TCG trailer thingy in which they play TGC with Kaveh and Alhaithem but aether is added, Cyno and tignari feel a little jealous, reader has some in-game items on her.
Summary:
God!Reader who's favorite characters are Kaveh, Traveler!Aether and Alhaithem. And when they meet them they immediately bless them without realizing. Causing quite the uproar within the whole of teyvat. After all, they didn't reveal themselves to the archons at all.
Reader loved the game 'Genshin impact' since their friends introduced it to them. So when they fell into Teyvat while awakening under the tree at windrise, they were glad to find out it wasn't an imposter au, and the fact that they had some in-game items?! Phew, they won't die.
But before they reveal the fact that they have gold blood, they want to visit SUMERU! And luckily the waypoints still work :D!
Reader decided to walk into the city, teleporting not too far away, but they had to check how far it was into the archon quest! So better be safe then sorry.
"It's so pretty." Reader clapped their hands as they squealed. "Nahida has such a pretty region, well, hoyo does own Nahida some apologies for their traumatic background for her." They thought with a sinister smile, Nahida is Reader's child, she deserved better.
"i have a small bit of mora..." Reader mumbled and then smiled. 'Puspa Café, here I come!'
"Aether! Come join us in a game of TCG!" Cyno invited him as he walked into the café. "Sure! Is it alright if Paimon plays with me as a team?"
"yeah! Paimon wants to play too! But i dont have a deck!"
Aether and Paimon joined the table with Kaveh, Alhaithem, Cyno and tighnari, aether suddenly felt a wave of power washing over them.
"Did you feel that?" Aether whispered. "I did." Cyno confirmed. "Hi!" someone greeted them with a bright smile. "Your the traveler, Aether, correct?"
"Yes, I am..." The group was on guard. "May you find your sister and the answers to the questions that lie within your hearth." Reader told Aether while grabbing his hand and gave him a bright smile. Then they turned Kaveh and grabbed his hands, causing him to turn red. "May your buildings make an imprint on the world." Then they turned to Alhaithem. Grabbing his hands as well causing him to tense up. "And may you live a peaceful life while seeking the knowledge you wish to have."
A light started to glow above the three's heads, it was visible everywhere in teyvat. Causing a large uproar.
"I did not expect it to glow like that." Reader mumbled, causing Tighnari's eyes to widen. "Beloved creator, I thank you for gracing us with your-"
Reader started to get swarmed and Aether instictively pulled them closer. "Are you alright?" Paimon asked Reader. "Paimon thinks creator doesn't like crowds."
"Paimon, is correct. But call me reader, my dear."
"Let's eat together, Reader! Paimon wants to share food with my new friend!" Which caused Reader to chuckle. "Let's do so, if that alright with your travelling buddy." This caused Aether to smile, he loved seeing Paimon smile. And the creator gave them a blessing, a blessing that can help him find out the truth.
Alhaithem and Kaveh were trying to keep the crowd calm, Cyno and tighnari standning in front of Aether, trying to make sense of what happened.
"Alhaithem, got blessed by the creator?" Cyno mumbled, causing reader to look at him. "Alhaithem is one of my favorites!" Reader shouted with a smile. Which caused the crowd to murmer. The café's owner however didn't care, the creator was in his café, they are on a cloud nine.
"Just like Kaveh, Aehther, and now Paimon!"
Yeah this caused an even larger uproar.

I'm currently making pixel art in the style of the pokemon tgc gameboy game.
due to the limitations of the game boy, they can only use four colors for the images on the cards, because that's all the original game boy can display. but since the game plays on a gb and gbc, they can add color data that the gameboy color can interpret and change those four grayscale colors into 4 vibrant colors.
I definitely recommend checking out the art from the original game, and the Japan only sequel. they make incredible use of the limitations of the hardware at the time, and the artwork appears bright and vibrant on both a gbc and original gameboy. most of the artwork is based on the currently released physical pokemon cards at the time, and you can definitely see how accurate they are to the original art.
the tcg games use the card sets originally released at the time, base set to gym challenges (basically just gen 1)
I wanted to make my own versions based on real cards, so I used some cards from neo genesis series (which is basically gen 2 where they introduced dark and metal colors to represent the dark and steel types introduced in gsc)
the cards I used are holo azumarill (2/111), elekid (22/111), and furret (35/111) from neo genesis, umbreon (32/75) and wooper (71/75) from neo discovery, and celebi (3/64) from neo revolution. as you can see from the blank spaces, I'm planning to add a lot more. I'll probably look at the e-card series next.

Potential beef between Ewan and Olivia? Suddenly that deuxmoi blind about co-stars hooking up and shit being awkward on set makes a lot more sense (everyone kept claiming it was Tom and Liv but he's got a long term gf and I don't think either of them would be stupid enough to have an affair other people noticed)
Guys ...
Once more for the cheap seats ...
I don't give a fuck about the actors or actresses personal lives. They can do what they want when they want on their time. What they do is their business.
I care when they do dumb shit on MY TIME and in my fandom.
I will criticize any actor or actress that comes out and says dumb shit that is absolutely false and against preestablished lore and characters to push their own personal brand of bullshit so they can look good to their stuck up and sad loser friends in their London social bubbles.
I've hit Olivia Cooke with the fucking truck for two years now cause she's like a bad take machine. You can stuff a quarter up her shapely and - frankly - gorgeous ass and she'll spit out Satan's own fucking gospel. Same thing with Emma D'acry - whose has more than a descent ass herself BTW.
The reason I critique them is cause they're the only ones in the cast strutting around like immature school girls running their mouths and saying stupid shit.
If Tom Glynn-Carney or Ewen Mitchell were out there acting the fool like Olivia Cooke and D'acry than I'd be out there decrying their dumb shit too. But TGC and Mitchell haven't said anything dumb.
In fact, they're actually doing the Promo stuff right. They could teach a class on it ... and need to give Cooke and D'arcy remedial courses on how to promote a show and your character rather than yourself.
TCG and Mitchell, by sheer personality, have changed the conversation around Aegon and Aemond, winning the normies over to Team Green, by being likable and humble. Unlike Cooke and D'arcy.
When it comes to the cast, I don't give a fuck about their personal lives. My breakdowns of Cooke and D'arcy and their egoistical narcissism while under the spotlight comes from life experience and dealing with actors and actresses who mostly have the same paint-by-numbers character flaws that make many of them vapid and empty fucking suits.
But what they do when they step away from the spotlight is completely their business and I couldn't give a fuck what they do with it as long as its got nothing to do with me or my life.
Cooke could have sex with the entire cast for all I care, as long as she stops queer baiting to get a non-existent part of the fanbase on twitter/X to like her.

Ash and Red: Timeline of Appearances
I plan to make a long essay talking about the connection between Ash and Red throughout the Pokémon franchise, but since the franchise is over 27 years old, and much of the old Internet is scattered and lost to time, I decided to make a timeline of the early years of Pokémon to compile all the evidences in chronological order, most consisted of their first appearance, the mention of their names in various media, some forums talking about the two, and any other misc information. I also included links to each specific media to keep track of where I found such information whenever necessary.
I know for certain that I'm missing some media here or there, but I'll be updating this post whenever I find new information. If you have any new information, I'll be happy to include it in this massive timeline doc.
Also note, the timeline will not extend beyond 2010 because by that point, Ash and Red have been officially considered to be two distinct characters. This is merely a timeline to document how Red rose into prominence in the Pokémon fandom and at what point was he considered to be a separate character from Ash rather than just Ash with a different name.
February 27th, 1996: Pokémon Red and Green came out in Japan. The player Pokémon Trainer made his debut. Three optional names were offered in Pokémon Red: レッド Red, サトシ Satoshi and ジャック Jack. Three optional names offered in Pokémon Green: グリーン Green, シゲル Shigeru, and ジョン John.

April 1998: Pokémon Zensho released. Pokémon Trainer was named Satoshi. His rival was named Shigeru.

April 24th, 2005: The first time Bulbapedia made mention that Ash was likely based on the main character of Pokémon Red and Blue. Linked to Red (game).
November 13th 2006: Bulbapedia page for Red included a Misc Information section stating that Ash and Red are not the same person, noting that many fans have made that mistake. Mixing the two, it claimed, was a big error.
November 14th, 2006: Bulbapedia page for Red claimed that Ritchie, regarded as '"perfect" manefestation' of Ash, is closely designed to the original Red.
November 17th, 2006: Bulbapedia proofread the page and added several other of Red's media counterparts.
October 27th, 2007: Edit war over whether Red's team could be considered a reference to the anime or Pokémon Adventures.
September 12th, 2009: Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver released in Japan. Red appeared in his FRLG redesign. Red's Espeon replaced by Lapras. Red's Pikachu's moveset was changed to reflect Ash's Pikachu's moveset in Diamond and Pearl anime.
