*Celestial stars do age, and go through the same phases of life over time;

Protostar -> Main Sequence -> Red Giant -> Supernova (+White Dwarf/Blackhole/Neutron Star) This is the same pattern age sequence most of our stars follow, through different spans of time depending on size and matter.

However, they can also achieve these forms through changes to mass in their *Proto/Auxiliary cores. 

Overloading a Main Sequence star's core by adding highly dense matter can send it into Red Giant phase, or even straight into Supernova depending on the density of matter added.

This can however theoretically be reversed! If immediate action is taken swiftly and accordingly, by removing the dense mass from the star's core, this can return the Red Giant back to a Main Sequence star, saving it from premature star death.

However, there is little that can be done for stars who reach Red Giant through sheer old age, after they've burned through most of their hydrogen and began converting to denser materials. This method of removing density is only plausible for stars who have been "poisoned."

1*Celestial is the blanket name of the race referring to sentient stars/planets/meteors/and such like.

2*Proto/Auxiliary are the terms for a Celestial’s first(Proto) and secondary(Auxiliary) bodies. They are one being, but exist as separate entities. The Protobody is the stationary body, the direct planet/star 🌎 🌞 ⭐ 🌙

The Auxiliary body is the dynamic body, the separate core that can take on different forms, speak, and travel anywhere. They can take on as many forms at the limit of their Protobody’s mass, such as human or animal or more. 🏃‍♂️🐕🐈🐉
